Know pictures that are used in imovie HD
I want to know if there is a way to know which pictures you allready used when using an ipphoto album in imovie.
Example: I am doing a movie in imovie and aI already organized all the pictures I want to use in an album in iphoto. I am dragging them in imovie, from the media tab in imovie. There are around 500 pictures in that album and I just want to know if there is a way to know which pictures I already used.
I am using ilife 06 (iphoto 6 and imovie 6)..

Welcome to the forum, Glory!
Sorry, there is no convenient list that lets you see which photos have already been imported. There's a list of clips buried deep inside the iMovie project file, but it's not written in plain English so it won't help.
The most convenient, perhaps, is to open the project's Media folder in a Finder window. It lets you see the file names of all the clips, including the names of the imported photos. (Each photo is copied to the Media file as it is imported to iMovie.)
To look inside the project package, Control-click on the project icon and choose "Show Package Contents" from the popUp menu that appears. Open the "Media" folder. If you show the file list in alphabetical order, it shouldn't be hard to spot the photos. (If you wanted to get fancy, you could create a special Spotlight folder to show you just the pictures in the Media folder.)
An easier way, however, may be to create a special album in iPhoto, then drag photos from that album of iPhoto directly into the iMovie HD timeline (instead of dragging them from iMovie's photo list.) You would select the photos in iPhoto, drag them into iMovie, then delete them from the album. You would know that all the photos still remaining in the album would not have been imported to iMovie.

In case you are using BOXIR2 you can do this by editing the crystalenterprise.webi.xml file.
Replace the CrystalEnterprise.Webi.xml file (Take a backup) with the edited one.
Path where you can find this file- Tomcat/webapps/businessobjects/enterprise115/desktoplaunch/WEB-INF/classes/META-INF/CrystalEnterprise.Webapps/ePortfolio/plugins
Paste the Custom Documentation folder in Tomcat\webapps\businessobjects\enterprise115\desktoplaunch\

I am viewing your question from different perspective, that is, the issue that you face when you are ripping VOBs from a second DVD-VIDEO on DVD disc using Premiere Elements,
It is best to give the Premiere Elements version and computer operating system that it is running on. In the absence of that, I will generalize.
Assuming that you are using
Premiere Elements 12
Add Media
"DVD Camera or Computer Drive"
Video Importer
Typically the Video Importer Save In: is C:\Users\Owner\Videos
Each of your DVD discs is going to have the same names for the ripped VOBs (VTS_01_1.VOB and so on depending on the duration of the movie). Consequently, after the ripping of the first DVD's VOBs and their save to Videos, you will end up with that "files already existing..." block for the ripping of the VOBs from the second DVD.
The answer is, for each DVD disc VOB ripping, to plan ahead and create and set for different folders in Videos in the Save In field of the Video Importer.

The digitization of data has introduced a complexity to our interactions with it that we continue to struggle with. "Picture" and "Photo" now mean different things in different contexts. In this case (and in general) defining our terms clearly is the first step towards understanding what we are trying to do. Understanding is the path that allows us to do it.
All pedantic, but please stick with me here .
You record a set of instantaneous data with a camera.
That data is processed by your camera and saved to a file.
The file format is usually either RAW or JPG.
You transfer those files to your computer, and you import them into the program Aperture (often in one operation).
From each camera-file imported, Aperture creates a record in its database (called, imho unhelpfully, a Library) and an Image that you see in the Aperture Browser and Viewer.
Aperture links the Image and the imported file.
The imported file is called, within Aperture, an Original.
Every Image has an Original.
The Image is not the Original. The Image is what you see in Aperture.
The Original is a file that is stored on your computer.
You can make changes to an Image.
Aperture calls these changes Adjustments.
Adjustments are saved to another file attached to the record in the database. Let's call this file the Changes File.
Aperture uses these two files attached to the record in the database to create the Image.
Image = Original + Changes File.
The Image is not a file.
Because the Image is not a file, it cannot be shared with other programs. It exists only inside of Aperture.
In order to share an Image with another program, you must first create a file of the Image.
You do this by exporting Images ("File ▹ Export ▹ Version" is the command in Aperture; should be, imho, "File ▹ Export ▹ Image").
You may ask, "Why all the complexity? Why doesn't Aperture save Images as files?" The answer is simple: Images can require less — and in many cases very very much less — storage space than files of Images. Rather than save a full-size file for every Image, Aperture saves only instructions on how to make that full-size file. The gain in storage efficiency is huge. The trade-off is that although your Images are always available to be made into share-able files, you must create those files when needed (which you do by exporting selected Images).

No, there is not. Images exist only in Aperture, and are not accessible for use in other programs. You must create, for each Image in your Aperture Library, a new file outside of your Aperture Library in order to use it with another program.
Aperture does allow you to create and save within your Library share-able files of your Images. These files are called Previews. You specify the file parameters in Aperture Preferences on the Previews tab. These files are available to other programs via the OS X Media Browser. These files are what you get when you drag selected Images out of the Aperture program and drop them on another program or on your desktop (which is part of the Finder).

Material type does not depend upon the industry type.
Material type defines whether product produced in inhouse or expternal procurement
(like FERT - Proc Type is X (Inhse), ROH - Proc Type is F (Ext) - MRP 2 View)
whether stock values are updated or not, due to inventory movements
Whether material is valuated or not ( most of the material are valuated, but some of the material types
are not valuated like KMAT (configurable material) & NLAG (Non Stock material)
What views that are associated with the material type
For details of material types the tcode is OMS2

Does anyone know how i can get the total number of comps in the project-panel or the total number of comps that are used in the opened project?

You could look at the usedIn attribute of each comp to see how many comps appear in other comps, but that won't identify your top-level comp. I'm not sure how you would do that unless you just bump the count by 1:

Go to tcode CMOD. In the project field drop down your list there. Put a Z* there and run the list. These should be all the exits that are activated. Search for the ones that pertain to FI. You can also search by development class. You need a little ABAP knowledge to search easily. You get this by going to the tcode then to status then to the program then to the attributes. There you find the development class. Ie FBAS.

my iphone doesn't show me the effect of the picture that Are taken with effect it just show them to me as a normal picture with out any effect and when I go to edit it shows there that the pic already has an effect and when I see the picture in group it shows that it has effect only when I tap on one to see it larger the effect disappear
I'm having the same issue, i restored my phone to Factory settings, even tried restoring it to my backup, half of my music bought from itunes won't play on my iphone and i'm super annoyed, this only happened once i updated to ios 7.2 so i assume its another glitch to go with my imessages not sending, getting sick of this.

Editing a movie that was already cut together without transcoding .h264 footage to proresslt. I want to transcode full clips that are used in the edit, but not any of the leftovers. Is there an efficient way to this?
I'm thinking I can convert the files with Compressor and place them in a new folder with their original file names (not sure how to get compressor to do this yet) and then do a major "Reconnect Clip" afterwards.
Not sure if there's a more efficient way to get all the clips in the timeline to compressor. I want the full files, not a sequence export. I can go through one clip and a time and add the master file. I'd rather not.
The more automated processes the better.

Byeah Media reconnect can be an issue.
Will Media Manager convert files? Another thing I was thinking was to Media Manage the sequence out, copying all the used files to a new folder, and then running that through compressor. But it still leads to a massive reconnect. Fine tuning all those edits would be less involved than re-editing the whole thing, I hope. -
