Knowing where an instance is within a template

Does anyone know how I can find out where a particular instance of a workflow within
a template is? I'm trying to setup a template where if a number of instances are
of the same nature actioning a task within one of them causes all of the instances
to move along to the next task. Any ideas?

Where the Instance are saved

Hi,
I want to know where the instances of the particular report (When we schedule a report) is saving in server.I am able to find the instances in History tab of the report object.But i want to know where it is saved in server.Will it affect the performance of the server.We are using BO XI R2 and the server is Virtual server.The performance is very slow.So we increased the disk space and we put dual processor.Then also we are facing problem some time.
Can any one help on this?

Have you tried tracing the different servers that make up the Enterprise system (by appending -trace in the command-line in the CCM for the server) to try to narrow down where performance is going?
If you think it's the File Repository Servers - Input FRS or Output FRS - that's causing the slowdown, the disk location for each is configurable in the CMC. It's recommended to use a local disk, but there are customers who use networked disks for the FRS.
If, on the other hand, you think it's report specific - then I don't recommend touching any of the files in the FRS directly. You can lock up the Enterprise Framework if you access reports outside of the FRS process.

I am not sure if it was a PP or Open Office template, but I would like to get my hands on it again as I lost the original. Of course I spend time on Google etc but did not find it. Anybody know where I can find a copy? Or someone has a copy?

Check out the information in this link. It shows how to create gradient for the slide background. That covers one image.

no I do not know as said I did a long search to no avail.
Looking at the cover image, I'm getting the hunch that it was created in OpenOffice. Does OpenOffice have a template browser? Try that if you haven't.
Besides that, I'm afraid that's about all I've got. It's like looking for a single grain of sand in a desert.

The gradient is the same, and the "swirls" are the same as well. It might easily be a default template or a template available with OpenOffice. Try that.

Anyone have an interactive organizational chart template, or know where I can get one? I am trying to put together a toolkit for organizations of different shapes and sizes to use for plannning, and was hoping to present boxes with titles, and space for them to enter the names of the staff assigned to the respective positions.
Have to believe that others have already developed a solution for this and hoping someone out there is willing to share . . .

Where are the objects of the templates stored?

Virtually all hte themes in iweb 08 have little png files here and there. I know I can cpy form one them and past to another but I would really like to know where these files are kept! Their titles are generally given in the metrics ispector (such as star.png, for instance from the travel theme).
I do a spotlight search for star.png expecting a folder where template graphics are stored and find nothing! I would like to know where all these objects are so perhaps, as I create my own templates, I have one place to view what is available rather than opening each page within each theme individually just to see what kind of little stock graphics are included with iweb 08. I suppose i don't HAVE to know where these are but it's killing me that all these objects with file names cannot be searched and found anywhere on my mac! Any ideas? Thanks!

Spotlight doesn't seem to index items within .app packages, therefore it is quite useless to search anything inside a .app package (an application).
You need to get into Unix to get around this limitation, there are a few Unix CLIs to accomplish this... my favorite is locate (this also needs indexing)... a quick locate gave me these:

There you go, star.png is in Road Trip theme/template, there is no need for another app

I used a third party programme called Mackeeper UGHHH,it moved loads of files to the trash now i do not know where they originally came from or belong!! the put back option is in grey??how can i manually put these files back where they belong?SO upset!!

hello there thank u so much for ur reply!! ok i uninstalled mackeeper now and the put back option is still in grey im so confused...i tried restarting my computer like u said and put back still in grey??!! the files that are in my trash are everything from Accounts,address book plug-ins,address book,adobe,aim.........then stuff like apple,Audio,....to caches color pickers,colors,com.apple.TCC,to DVD player to facebook,google to ilifemedia browser to itunes to keychains to movie effects,preferences printers to skype...my Native instruments files BUT not all of them my garage band but not all of it...it seriously looks like my whole library is in the trash i tried to put things back where i THINK they belong and it just added the item or folder under where i thought it went and didnt restore functionality to for instance google chrome and all my book marks are there....they seem to be only certain things from my library that would have added some functionality to apps and programmes like my garageband is missing stuff photobooth wont work so on.......kinda looks a bit like this thats only the half of it!! Can't figure out how to insert an html within my template

I've searched, but perhaps I am not using the correct terminology. I apologize if this has been addressed elsewhere.
We have a vendor who is trying to mimic my webpage for our customers who sign on to her service. My problem is that I don't like having versions of our webpage outside our organization because I'll have to get them to update every time I make a change to our page. I know it will be forgotten at some point. What I'd like to do is set up a page on our site and insert their html content page within my template framework. There is a form that needs to link to their site so it needs to live on their server. I tried inserting an html, but it didn't work. I know in the olden days I used to be able to do this in PageMill. Now, I just can't figure out how to do it. Does anyone know the secret?

You can cancel an iCloud storage upgrade but only within 15 days of buying:
Apple seem to have made this as difficult as possible. You may be able to do this using http://expresslane.apple.com - Click on 'More products and services', then 'iCloud', 'Account and setup' then 'This topic is not listed'. Explain the situation in the box provided and wait for a response - include a phone number. However you may find you cannot proceed without entering a hardware serial number which is still eligible for AppleCare.
In that event you will need to phone them directly, using the Apple Online Store number given at the bottom of this page. The first person you speak to may tell you to do it from the iCloud website but this is not possible. Politely insist on escalating the issue to a more senior person and eventually you should be able to get through to someone who can deal with this (you may have to wait for them to call you back) - you will be asked security questions and for part of your credit card number to identify yourself.

Need to link text within movie template

Hi all,
I downloaded a flash site template (some time ago) that I'm
just getting round to using. I don't recall if support was offered
when I bought the site. If so, I've long since lost the link to
that support. So, I'm turning here for help.
The site in question is www.plumbingsystems.net. Within the
template there are individual movies. One of these movies is
titled, "Text Area." I don't believe I can actually post this movie
for review but I'm hoping by posting the text layout under
"actions" that someone out there might be able to tell me how this
text can be formatted and, most importantly, if the text can be
linked to other URLs. Specifically, I want to take the text that
makes up the "Client List" text and link some of the client names
to external URLs with photos of the client's work. Here is how the
text appears within the "actions" panel of the Text Area movie:

The ! turns up when iPhoto loses the connection between the thumbnail in the iPhoto Window and the file it represents.
Option 1
Back Up and try rebuild the library: hold down the command and option (or alt) keys while launching iPhoto. Use the resulting dialogue to rebuild. Choose to Rebuild iPhoto Library Database from automatic backup.
If that fails:
Option 2
Download iPhoto Library Manager and use its rebuild function. This will create a new library based on data in the albumdata.xml file. Not everything will be brought over - no slideshows, books or calendars, for instance - but it should get all your albums and keywords back.
Because this process creates an entirely new library and leaves your old one untouched, it is non-destructive, and if you're not happy with the results you can simply return to your old one. .
