Kodak Print Service

I've used the service 'Kodak Print Service' several times with success. Lately, however, I got prints much too dark as judged from the screen as usual. Where to complain ?? Where to get normal prints ?? Where to get a refund ??
Kodak Print Service sends you an order card with the thumbnails, the order number Apple, the mail number etc. However, there is no possible address, email address or else to contact either Apple.de or Kodak Print Service. The only note on the card: "Senden Sie uns eine email an" which means translated "Send us an email" with the folowing 'address:
Is this a form of deliberate misleading or incompetition or what? Needless to say, that my emails directed to several other apple institutions with the request for redirection remained unanswered.
I think, this way business can't function, or ?

I'v just received prints from Kodak print service. I think they are very good quality. I ordered 4x6 and send them resolution, I think, 1500x1000. But they advice 900x600 for 4x6 foto. But i did'nt know that time and even that the quality is great- Nice

  • Photos sent to Kodak iPhoto print services CROPPED on top and bottom

What is the easiest way to avoid cropping of top and bottom of photos I send to Kodak print service? It is a 1019x2000 size jpeg photo, 320kb

This is a long and skinny photo. You may need to actually put blank space in to get them to keep the entire length of the long side, i.e., If you are printing a 4 x 6, your picture will be 6" on the long side and 3.06" on the short side. If you add .47" of blank space at the top and bottom, you will fill out the entire 4 x 6 inch photo with your 2000 pixel dimension on the long side.
(.47" is an extra 157 pixels top and bottom.)

  • Ordering Kodak prints through iPhoto - what kind of paper do they use?

What kind of paper is used when you use the Kodak printing services in iPhoto - matte, gloss?? Seems there is not an option to select a choice.

I'm sorry I don't know, but it makes totally sense to suggest this to be changed in the future. I don't know what I would order trough iPhoto, so I simply avoid disappointment...
I'm curious too, most probably: glossy

  • Why does my Kodak printer not work with yosemite?

ever since upgrading to yosemite, my kodak printer will not work. i got as far as being able to download a software update but still no joy.

My kodak 5250 would not print and I tryed the termial with no luck and then i received an email from nowater and turn on Bonjuor in safair and now I am printing i did not enter the ip address of my printer
    heres the email
I decided to poke around in the Epson settings via the web interface.  To do this, just enter the printer's IP address in a browser that's on the same network (you may have to skip some HTTPS / certificate warnings).  From there I looked around until I found Wi-Fi/Network Settings / Services / Protocol.  On my system, Use Bonjour was unchecked.  I had seen in other people screenshots and videos that when the Add Printer tool works, it shows that it connects via Bonjour Multifunction, so I enabled Bonjour and saved the settings.  After waiting a few minutes for the settings to be applied, I was able to add the printer via the Add Printer Default tab (I did change the "Use" setting from "Secure AirPrint" to "Epson WF-3620 Series" option -- I think this is the Epson specific driver).
I don't know if Bonjour is disabled by default or if I turned it off somehow in the past and forgot, but it's an easy enough fix that might work for someone else so I thought I should share.

  • Sending Aperture-created books to other printing services

Has anyone attempted to take a book created with the Aperture book tool and have it printed by alternative printing services like Asuka or Kodak? Can it be done, and if so, what is the process for doing it?
    Thanks,
    Brad

SharedInk will accept Aperture books for printing. Just upload the pdf just as you would an iPhoto pdf book. At the end of the upload you get an error indicating the pdf is the wrong kind (i.e. an Aperture file as opposed to an iPhoto file). Then you just contact their support people and they move the file along for you to a point where you can view it online at their site and place your order. Works for me.

  • New HH3 - Issues with Kodak Printer and iPhone 3GS

    Hello,
    Here is the background:
Previously had a D-Link DSL-G624M router and everything connected wirelessly. This included 2 laptops, Kodak ESP 5250 Printer and iPhone 3GS. Router broadcasting on channel 6 (locked).
Since upgrading to Infinity replaced the D-Link with a HH3. Laptops connect fine but have issues with other wireless devices.
iPhone: Seems to lose internet (not necessarily wireless connection though) intermittently. The phone remains connected to the HH3 and can be seen in the DHCP table and Home Network screens. The iPhone also reports that it is connected to the HH3. However, when attempting to access the internet using either Safari or apps it doesn't work. This can be fixed by forgetting the network and re-joining or turning Airplane Mode on and then off.
Kodak ESP5250 Printer: This connects fine to the HH3 and remains in the DHCP table and Home Network with the correct IP Address. Laptop A is able to connect and print successfully. However, after putting the laptop into sleep mode and re-waking it it is unable to Print. The Printer is still connected to the HH3 and laptop claims it is 'Ready' but unable to print. The only way i have found to fix this is to re-install the entire Printer software!! However, Laptop B does not have this problem and can be put into Sleep mode, Hibernate or restart and the printer remain connected. I do not think it is a firewall issue as able to connect until re-waking from sleep.
You're probably thinking the same as me that this sounds like hardware issues and not the HH3. Maybe coincidence that it started happening after changing to HH3. Maybe something wrong with the iPhone or Laptop A and/or Printer?!? Tried setting a manual channel on the HH3 as suggested by other posts but this had no effect. (Used inSSIDer to determine best channel). Also increased the IP Address lease time from 1 Day to 21 Days - but again no difference.
Current situation: Connected the D-Link router to the HH3 using Ethernet cable. Disabled DHCP and DNS on the D-Link router and kept SSID different. Now connected all devices to the D-Link router and nothing to the HH3 and everything is working as it did previously. The iPhone remains stable and the Kodak printer remains connected to both Laptops after re-waking from Sleep Mode.
I haven't yet contacted BT but i'm leaning towards it being a dodgy HH3. Anyone have any suggestions??
    Thanks,
    Martyn...

For starters, there's nothing wrong with your Iphone or Kodak prn. The issue is the HH3
I had a very similar issue connecting iMac, iPad, Macbook Pro, iPhone, Thinkpad and Canon prn via wireless to the HH3... Lots of disconnections, devices that couldn't log in, very low wireless speeds, printer not recognized, etc,etc
I went mad, pretty much did the same things as you did: inSSIDer, changing channels, re-installing whole softw drv !, reorientating HH3 position, manually assigning IPs and channels... nothing would seem to work!
Then I connected a Netgear router to HH3 via ethernet cable -like you did- and suddenly everything seemed to go back to normal. Here's what I found out after much head knocking:
    1) The issue is the HH3, not that it's faulty but simply put it can't deal with lots of wireless traffic. The minute you connect several devices it gets clogged up
    2) HH3 seem not to recognize WiFI printers that have a 'static' IP (not sure why)...  this was a nightmare
    3) if you have many devices connected, HH3 doesn't  seem to 'like' Apple devices or wifi Airport powered (not sure why). After sleep mode these device can't pick up IP over the air, and you need to manually renew DHCP leases. There are several reports about this in Apple forums.
    So here's what I did:
    1) I ditched the HH3
    2) I connected the Openreach router to a dual-band Netgear wndr3400 **cable** router (PPPoE connection)
    3) I re-installed the prn drv in USB mode and then added wifi printer in wifi mode while usb connected
    4) I created two-split WIFI networks; one in the channel 6/2.4Ghz frequency and another in the channels 44-48/5Ghz freq to which I assigned most devices (It seems BT Infinity wifi works best in 5Ghz channels)
Results: all devices recognised & connected via WiFI, no disconnections, steady WIFI speed almost as fast as ethernet cable, wifi prn prints fine from all devices... No more WIFI connnectivity issues.
I hope this helps, good luck
(note: my current issue is that my profile dropped from 34/8 to 21/2 during testing phase)

I am trying to install Kodak printer ESP C310 but it says a firewall is blocking the installation. Can you help?I am using windows XP. I have searched port 5353 and this is enabling Bonjour.

You could check this article, but it is about Firefox itself not having access.

  • Use two different printer services in one web template?

    Hi!
Is it possible to use two different help services for printing in the same web template (for the same table item)?
    Print1:
    <param name="HELP_SERVICE" value="HELP_SERVICE_PRINT"/>
    <param name="HELP_SERVICE_CLASS" value="ZCL_RSR_XLS_HELP_WINDOW_PRINT"/>
    Print 2:
    <param name="HELP_SERVICE" value="ZPRINTING"/>
    <param name="HELP_SERVICE_CLASS" value="ZBW_PRINT_HELP_SERVICE"/>
I was thinking that you maybe could change the param name values for the "Help_service" and the "help_service_class" at runtime using the properties for the table item, so that you could choose which one to use, but I havne't been able to do that so far.
    Does anyone have an idea?

This is not a problem. Just put the print service for the print to excel on an object other than the table web item. As long as these print services exist on any web item, you should be able to invoke them. I've tested this with putting the "Print with Excel" service on the Navigation Block Web Item and the other print service on the table web item. Hope that helps!

  • HT4356 How do I set up iPad to use wireless Kodak printer?

I have iPad 2. looked at air print instructions but Kodak printers are not listed. can I not use iPad with printer that is not listed?

As noted, most Kodak printers are not air print enabled (if not all) but there are work arounds.
First, Kodak has apps that may do what you want done. Search for Kodak in the app store (just make sure they print documents if that's what you need, most of hte ones I saw the last time I looked only printed photos)
Second, Kodak has a partnership with Google Docs that allow some options. Such as the ability to e-mail your document to some models. Or to have a program on a comptuer that's hardwired to the printer, you mail/upload the document from your iPad, then download to the hardwired comptuer that then prints.  (I didn't dig too deeply because I just didn't need yet another online account)
Third, third party apps. I use Print n Share, others recomment Printopia or Print Central.
I have a 7250 and use Print n Share and it works just fine with my Kodak printer.
Look on the Kodak site, under the support part and for info specific to your model and see what options you have for your model printer.

  • I have created a family recipe book in iBooks - can I print it using iPhoto's print service?

I have created a family recipe book in iBooks - can I print it using iPhoto's print service? I don't want to print it on our home printer - I want to print multiple copies for family members through the Apple iPhoto book printing service.  Can anyone help me please?

There is no Apple print service for iBooks, and iPhoto can also only print photo books created in iPhoto.
Print your iBook to pdf. Then you have several option:
Save the pdf to a thumbsdrive/stick  and take it to the nearest print shop close to your home.
Search online for "self publishing" services available in your country.
Recreate your book as an iPhoto Book. This will be a lot of work, since iPhoto's templates are more suitable for Picture books than books with lots of formatted text. To speed things up, you could use "Preview" to export the pages of your book as jpegs (high quality, at least 300 dpi) and add themas full-page photos to a new PhotoBook. This can be sent to apple for printing.
But the first two options would be much less trouble and probably be less expensive.

  • Print Service -- Queue Log location

    Hi,
I'm sure this is just a minor thing I should know, but I'm trying to find the individual Queue logs. In reading the OS X Server -Print Server Admin document, it mentions:
A print queue log records information such as the name of users who submitted
jobs, the size of each job, and errors associated with a job.
It then tells me how to view a Print Service log which only contains info on the Print service itself, but not how to view the individual Queue logs. I've dug around for the past 2 hours but cannot locate it. I'd really like to have a log of that info-- any help would be much appreciated.

I appears the nature of this question has changed a bit. I can't the queue logs because it appears my jobs are not being processed by the server.
Here's the deal. I have a 10.6 lab set up pointing to an 10.6 server. All of the lab computers are set up to printing, using the printers provided by my MCX prefs. When you print a document from the workstation, it processes and prints as expected-- however at no point does the server have this job appear in the queue.
I just want to see if there is something I've missed. I set up the server with the printers I want in my queue. I then added said printers to the list via workgroup manager. The workstations see AND print to only the printers supplied in workgroup manager. But it appears that jobs do not actually go through the queue-- it's almost as though they bypass the server and print directly to the printer. Is there a step I left out?

  • HT4356 How can I AirPrint in a Kodak printer?

How can I AirPrint in a Kodak printer?

There aren't currently any Kodak printers that support AirPrint - only the printers that are listed on this page support AirPrint.  You could see if Kodak have their own app in the app store that supports your printer, or there are third-party printer apps such as Print n Share and PrintCentral Pro which might work with it.

  • Cannot seem to add my Kodak printer...

I have a Kodak printer and when trying to add it to my new Mac, it says to contact manufacturer for latest software. does anyone know how to install a printer this way?

OS X Mountain Lion and OS X Lion systems will have the necessary printing software already installed, or will automatically download and install software when the printer is connected or configured. Do not install software that came with the printer as it may be out of date, and do not connect the printer to your Mac yet. Follow the instructions that came with the printer to unpack, install ink or toner, and insert paper.  Finally, use the instructions in this article to connect the printer to your Mac.
Make sure the printer model is listed in Printer and scanner software, which is a comprehensive list of all printer models that have compatible software for OS X Mountain Lion and OS X Lion.
    How to add a printer
Start a print job on the Mac and manage its options
    Generate and manage PDFs
Manage the printer queue and printer dock icon
