Kodak Printer Dock 3 won't print -- how do I fix it?

I own a Kodak Printer Dock 3, and I'm trying to print from iPhoto using the Kodak software for the Dock. When I try to print a picture, I pick the paper size as "L-size". When printing, the queue gives the error "Cartridge and tray type do not match". They say that for 4x6 and Postcard printouts too.
I've tried the Gutenprint driver too, and it doesn't even make the printer lights blink.
I've Googled on that message, and the only link is an archived post here, with no solution.
How do I get this printer to work with iPhoto?

If your country's iTunes Store allows you to redownload purchased tracks, I'd delete your current copy of the track and try redownloading a fresh one. See the following document for instructions:

Otherwise, I'd report the problem to the iTunes Store.
Log in to the Store. Click on "Account" in your Quick Links. When you're in your Account information screen, go down to Purchase History and click "See all".
Find the item that is not playing properly. If you can't see "Report a Problem" next to the item, click the "Report a problem" button. Now click the "Report a Problem" link next to the item.

Go to Control Panel > Add or Remove Programs (Win XP) or Programs and Features (later)
Remove all of these items in the following order:
iTunes
Apple Software Update
Apple Mobile Device Support (if this won't uninstall move on to the next item)
Bonjour
Apple Application Support
Reboot, download iTunes, then reinstall, either using an account with administrative rights, or right-clicking the downloaded installer and selecting Run as Administrator.
The uninstall and reinstall process will preserve your iTunes library and settings, but ideally you would back up the library and your other important personal documents and data on a regular basis. See this user tip for a suggested technique.

In order to load games on Facebook you need to set the Flash plugin to allow third-party content
1. Go to the Flash player Global Storage Settings panel.

Thanks but that did not work. Details: when I don't have headphones plugged in, the volume won't go up or down and it also displays a circle with a line through it meaning it's not working. When I go to settings and look at my audio output, it only says headphones, even if no headphones are plugged in. I have tried inserting and removing headphones many times, also tried poking the inside of the headphone jack with a stripped Q-tip, and nothing works. Something inside the jack that senses headphones is not sensing the lack of headphones.

Glad you found the answer. But something seems wrong. FCP should be able to assign the scratch disk to your startup drive. It's not advisable, but it should be possible. You might want to try and figure out what's going on before what ever's going on cause other problems.

Can anybody help me on this issue? I have already tried to replace the batteries but since the computer won't get past the spinning wheel of death then the keyboard won't connect.

Please follow Apple's advice in http://support.apple.com/kb/TS2570. If you need to get your hands on a wired USB keyboard, even a PC one will work fine.
Do not follow the previous poster's advice, that option is a "last chance" option. OS X is stable and in most cases a reinstall is never needed. Follow the directions in Apple's letter.

Are you able to do the reset I described while the device is connected to the charger? If so, does it start? What happens then after you remove it from the charger, does the device power off? If so, then you need to make an appointment with the Genius Bar or your Authorized Apple Service Provider and have the hardware checked. It sounds as if the battery is failing.

It appears you are going to need to reinstall Pages from the original source. Somehow it has lost some vital components.
