Korean Input Bug - Deleting Korean characters also removes characters in front of the cursor.

Hello.
I think I found a bug. I'm running the most recent version of Animate on OSX.9
When I am entering Korean letters (hangul) into Animate, and try to delete them, letters in front of the cursor also disappear.
This only happens if I try to delete a letter in a syllable that is currently being edited. Finished syllables don't have this problem. For example, if I want to type 한 but I type 해 by mistake and try to delete the ㅐ, the phenomenon occurs.
Thanks for the great program though!

Hello,
Here is how we resolved the problem.
SAP suggest that changing the Report Panel setting of Infoview from Java to HTML will fix the problem with the korean characters.
Login to Infoview > Preferences > Web Intelligence Document > Select a Report Panel: Query - HTML
- Login to Infoview
- Click on the Preferences button in the upper right corner
- Click on "Web Intelligence Document" tab
- In the "Select a Report Panel" section, select radio button for "Query - HTML"
- Click on Apply button, then OK.

I use internode and imap. When the ipad deletes emails it also removes them from the mac. How can I reverse this so the mac is the master and the ipad is the slave?

Thanks for the info. - I now know that deletion works both ways!! - (unlike POP where emails deleted from the ipad also deleted them from the mac even before I could read them,  whereas emails deleted from the mac were not removed from the ipad!!! - ie. the ipad was the master over the mac - the slave).  Prior to changing to imap I used to transfer all nongarbage emails from inbox to mailboxes before my husband could ask if he could delete emails on his ipad. I have noticed however if you do this in imap, they are removed from the inbox on the ipad as well (this did not happen with POP). So we still have to check but the number is less so we like imap better than POP.
    Thank again

  • How do you remove those yellow tags following the cursor all the time?

You know those yellow tags with information about the words your cursor is on.
Some times they cover the things you are reading and get really annoying.
    Any input?

I thought there was something to remove all filters right?
Not unless you applied the Filters as Smart Filters or duplicated the Layer prior to Filtering.
That’s why working non-destructively is so highly advised.
What kind and number of Filters are you talking about anyway?
Could you post a full-res segment of the image?

That was the first thing I check, my X no longer exist, the app still works fine and does everything it did in the past, the the x (delete) option is no longer there.  I have deleted and redownloaded the app and did a complete reset, X still not there as an option.  Is anyone else experiencing this problem?

I have removed photostream from my Iphone 4...Does this mean the photos are also removed from other devices?

The iPhone has a closed file system and you would not be able to download files to it. There have also not been any identified virus/malware that can successfully get into the iPhone. You should be fine.

  • Safari delete key bug on Korean characters

Currently, I'm using 2014 mid Macbook Pro Retina 15'' .
I've recently updated Safari to 7.1 version, and came out that Safari has delete key bug while using Korean characters for input.
When I'm trying to delete Korean character in Safari, the delete key doesn't work right away, so I have to spam delete several times to get words deleted.
This bug newly appeared after updating Safari to 7.1, which was released August, and several Korean communities also said they are having same issue.
To confirm the issue, just type few words with Korean letters and try to delete with delete key.

  • Korean characters are displayed as blank box on the TextField in Galaxy Note 3/Android 4.4/AIR 4.0

The AIR SDK we used is 1/14/2014 Release - AIR 4.
The device we have tested on is Samsung Galaxy Note 3/Android 4.4.
We found that it's quite similar with Bug 3681788 which has been fixed in Beta version 4.0.0.1619.
We checked the issue again with this beta version, and the result is Chinese characters are shown correctly, but Korean's are still not.
Bug 3681788: The CCJ languages characters are displayed as blank box on the TextField.
Hope it can be fixed as soon as possible.

    Japanese Characteres have same issue.
We tested on ASUS Nexus 7/Android 4.4.2/AIR 4.0 and Japanese characters are displayed as blank box in the TextField.
The AIR SDK we used is February 20th 2014 Release - AIR 4.
The device we have tested on is ASUS Nexus 7/Android 4.4.2.
    AIR SDK 3.6 worked fine.
AIR SDK 3.9 has same issue.
We tested Chinese on ASUS Nexus 7/Android 4.4.2/AIR 4.0, and Chinese Characters are displayed as blank box in the TextField.
I doubt that Korean Characters will also displayed as blank box.( Sorry we cannot read or write Korean so we couldn't test it)
I am guessing GalaxyNote 3(4.4) may also have same issue with Japanese.
    Hope this helps

  • AI CS2 Korean input in Windows 7 (English) broken?

I have AI CS2 (US version), and Korean input worked ok in Windows Vista Home Premium (English).  I upgraded to Windows 7 Pro (again, English version) and Korean input does not work anymore.  The 'jamo' are separated when they should be together.  Anyone else see this problem?
I've tried playing with the Korean IME settings, also tried XP compatibility mode and no luck.  Korean input did work for a short time right after the upgrade (actually for Win 7 it was a clean install, then reinstalled AI CS2).
Thanks for any help on this.

  • Korean input

When can we expect a update that makes it possible to input Korean text?
I was surprised the Korean keyboard isn't available since I had it on my iphone 3G from day 1.
The ipad isn't for sale in Korea yet, but also outside Korea there are people who use Korean text
Yes I know there are some apps available that make the input of Korean text possible, but why spend $$ on apps while the keyboard will probably added soon by Apple anyway?

If it's the same OS as the iPhone, why on earth would Apple NOT include the same international keyboard options
Nobody knows, but perhaps they did not have time to do the necessary software adaption. More than 2 dozen keyboards present in the iPhone were not included in the first version of the iPad. I would assume they will eventually be added via software updates.
In the meantime, there is a Korean keyboard in the app store which may be useful for some purposes.
I don't want to hear that lame excuse. This is WRONG and Apple needs to remedy ASAP!!!

If i import photos from my ipad to iphoto for mac, will deleting them from my ipad also remove them from my mac?

No. They will remain on the Mac. That's one of the reasons why it's a good idea to import your treasured photos. If something happens to the iPad, you still have your photos.

  • The CSCup62113 bug also removes Personal Conferencing accounts from disabled users' profiles

It has been confirmed that the CSCup62113 bug that has been confirmed in MR4 (CWMS version 2.0.1.407B) also removes Personal Conferencing accounts from disabled users' profiles, if CWMS has been configured for synchronization with CUCM/LDAP. There is no way to restore the Personal Conferencing accounts; all affected end users need to be notified that their Personal Conferencing accounts and PINs need to be manually re-created (with host/participant codes being re-generated).

Do you have a Time Machine backup or clone?  If not,
all is lost if you have in fact deleted your OSX partition
and you will have to do a reinstall from Recovery HD
    and install all else.

    Thank you for your question.

  • How to delete characters to the right of the cursor position

On a PC, the <Delete> key deletes characters to the right of the cursor, while <Bkspace> does the same for characters on the left.
On the MAC, the <Delete> key removes only characters to the left of where the cursor is, and there is no <Bkspace> key.
Although <fn> plus <Delete> can achieve this 'rightward' delete, is there a way to do it using a single key on the MacBook?
    Thanks. Replies appreciated.

    Hi Stevenray1
You have two delete keys on your Mac keyboard. The one in the place of the "backspace" key does indeed remove characters to the left of the cursor. But if you look at your keyboard there is a second one in the set of keys above the cursor keys. On my keyboard that delete key also has an arrow with an X in it pointing to the right. Use that one and you'll see that it will remove characters to the right of the cursor.
