Korg Monopoly not remembering settings

I've been trying to use Korg Monopoly with mainstage. However, when I save and reload a concert, it doesn't reliably recall the monopoly patch (mainstage 8). Is there any work-around?

Windows not remembering settings in MacBook Pro 15"

hey all,
I have a MacBook Pro 15" released in 2008. I have dual booting set up between Mac OS X.5.6 and Windows XP. I have what I'd consider a unique problem but may be someone else out there has had similar issues.
Every time I launch into Windows, *it does not remember any of my settings such as my bluetooth wireless mighty mouse and my bluetooth wireless rocketfish keyboard or to use my external 28 inch Hannspree monitor as my primary.* I don't care so much about windows not remembering my monitor preference but it would be nice every time I log into windows having my mouse and keyboard ready to go.
When I launch into OS X, it remembers everything, from the external keyboard and mouse to setting the dock and top bar to the external 28 inch monitor.
Any thoughts on how to get this to work in Windows. Is there some some application that can do this.

Is this what you've tried:
Plug in the MagSafe power adapter to a power source, connecting it to the Mac if its not already connected.
On the built-in keyboard, press the (left side) Shift-Control-Option keys and the power button at the same time.
Release all the keys and the power button at the same time.
Press the power button to turn on the computer.

Fx Print - not remembering settings though i saved them

Hello:
I am not sure why, but the Fx Print Dialog is not remembering my settings.

I desire the settings:

> and I choose print to PDF
I am a bit bored of having to choose these 2 settings EVERY single time i print a page. I never print as in print out. Always to PDF.
I have made these 2 changes, clicked preset and said save. But still Fx does not register I have done this.
Maybe these 2 settings cannot be remembered.
So if anyone knows how i can have these 2 settings remembered, please lmk. All I want to do is click my print icon on my toolbar and these 2 settings be defaulted. I always select the content (e.g. without the headings etc..) then I click the print icon.

Try this from the Presets: select "Save Current Settings as Preset.." and select for this printer only.

Print dialog not remembering settings

I have a very simple saved setting for my Lexmark E332n printer that sets the paper feed to manual. The problem is that since upgrading to Leopard, the manual paper feed setting is not remembered. In fact I have tried deleting the saved setting, setting the paper feed to manual and then saving that... and watching manual feed be reset to Auto-Feed with no other intervention on my part. Saved print settings are a great feature. I hope Apple can fix this problem so that it again works as well it did in Tiger.
By the way, I downloaded and installed the latest drivers on the Lexmark web site, and I'm getting the same behavior before and after doing so.

Audio MIDI Setup not remembering settings on startup

On a Macbook 1,1 Intel Core Duo 2 GHz, SMC Version 1.4f12, OS X 10.4.8, Aggregate Device @ 2ch-24bit/96000.0 Hz:
The Audio MIDI Setup does not remember the 'Default Output' as 'Aggregate Device' and although 'Aggregate Device' is shown in the Properties For: field, only the 'Audio Input' area is shown.
Changing or re-selecting the Sample Rate under 'Format:' results in 'Aggregate Device' appearing in the 'Default Output:' field and the 'Audio Output' area showing the configuration.
I have to perform these steps every time I startup. I had the same behavior on my previous MacBook with identical specs but a different build week.
Also, correct me if I'm wrong, but Apple has absolutely no way to e-mail technical support queries unless you purchase that 'feature'? You have to call them with each 'bug' or technical difficulty?

Ah, Ok. Turns out the issue I described only occurs when there's an optical digital cable plugged into the output at startup.
Unplugging it and restarting does not return Audio MIDI Setup to it's previous behavior. Deleting the second of those two files you mentioned then performing the steps I first reported and then restarting without the optical digital cable inserted returns things to 'normal' and after numerous reboots continues to work as normal.
So, if I ever start up the MacBook with the digital optical cable inserted I will have to delete the .plist file if I want the proper behavior to return. Seems like a bug to me...

Location bar under privacy tab not remembering settings

Ever since Firefox 16 and 17 versions came out I've always had this issue with the location bar not remembering my option. "When using the location bar, suggest: Nothing." Is what I prefer but if I ever reboot my computer or simply restart firefox over all, it always goes back to the option "History and Bookmarks." I find this very annoying. The reason I waited so long to report this is because I had hoped the next version of Firefox would take care of it. Is there anything I can do to fix this problem or will I have to simply wait till it's fixed by Firefox itself?

Unfortunately, that didn't help me. I went ahead and uninstalled Firefox completely without saving any customizations and reinstalled it. Seems to work fine now.

Leopard not remembering settings?

I'm currently having a problem with Leopard remembering my settings. Whenever I open Firefox, it asks me if I would like to set Firefox as my default browser. I always say yes, but when I restart my computer Safari has been reset as the default browser. So, Firefox asks me again if I would like to make it my default browser.
This also happens with my firewall settings. Every time I open iChat it asks me if I would like to allow iChatAgent through the firewall. I say yes, but the setting never sticks.
Has anybody else experienced this? Does anybody know how to fix this?

I had this issue until I used a free app that allows much more control over the default apps and which extensions open which app's, I still really haven't found where you get access to it in a global setup format, going to Info and selecting what the file uses just would take forever. its a system preference plug in (you simply drop it on the the system preference box when the app is open) and it will allow you to adjust what opens for internet, what opens for a .txt or a .text or a .Idontcare. etc etc. Very cool app that helps you see what you managed to get your settings set to all in one area. Hope that helps. Also with all the weirdness going on with Leopard and its new ACL's, have you ran a verify/repair disk permissions, as the settings that are adjusted could be unwritable and thus why your not getting the results you want. Adobe flash player not remembering settings

i just bought a brand new hp laptop and im having some difficiculty with adobe flash player 10. i am running it on vista x64 and in firefox but whenever i run something like gmail's video chat, it asks me everytime to 'allow' it. i have tried going to the settings and allowing the gmail to 'allow' access to my webcam and voice recorder and click on 'always' but it never actually saves the changes. the same is true when i come to the adobe site and try to change the global settings. nothing i change in any of the settings will save. its pretty frustrating i tried looking into it some and it sounded like the problem may be that im running it at x64. im not sure if this is the case tho. im clueless, hence this thread. also, i'm not sure if there is any correlation, but i can't get the music player on myspace profiles to show up, not a major concern to me tho.

Finder not remembering settings

Finder has suddenly stopped remembering my display settings.
What can I do?

How are you accessing the Applications folder? It actually makes a difference. Thus, if I double-click my hard drive icon on the Desktop, I get a Finder window in Column view. If I then click on the Applications folder it will open in Column view too, because the view is propagated from the parent window. However, if I click on the Applications icon in the Sidebar, then it opens in its own default of List view. If I make an alias of the Applications folder and put it on the Desktop, and double-click the alias, it opens in List view. Also, if you use the Back button you will get a view from whatever the folder you were in is set to (this is probably a bug). If I access the Applications folder from the Go menu, or with the keyboard shortcut of Command-Shift-a it will open in List view.
The preference for a folder's default state is stored in the invisible .DS_Store file. Occasionally this file becomes corrupt. If that is the case you would need to use Terminal to remove it.

New Firefox not remembering settings or guessing domains

Ever since I updated to the new Firefox 4.0 it will no longer remember my changed settings.
I changed my settings so that when I type into my location bar it searches on google but now I have to keep changing it as it keeps reverting back to the old settings. Plus, it will no longer perform domain guessing since I updated.

Google and other sites does not remember settings

I am setting up google to show 100 results at a time, but it always returns to 10 results.
Also another site forgets my settings for search for news on the site.
Have checked that cookies are allowed and does not expire.

Google recently made some changes to the Google search site with the addition of Instant search and that made the setting of the number of results in the Google settings to stop working.
If Instant search is enabled on the [http://www.google.com/preferences?hl=en Google Search settings] page (link at the top right) then you only get 10 results. 
You have to disable instant search and reload the result page and then set the number of results to your preferred choice. 
It may not work if you make both changes at the same time. 
There is a link directly to the right of the Google search field on the Google results page. 
That is a button with a drop down list: Instant is On/Off. 
There is also a radio check box on the Google Settings page, that has replaced the previously used Suggestions.

X-Fi Audio Settings Not Remembered After Reboot - Solution

I have an X-Fi Titanium Fatal1ty PCI-E on WIN7 64bit and I decided to try some different drivers, just out of curiosity. My drivers were working fine for the most part (except OpenAL BSOD) prior to this.
After changing drivers, Windows would no longer remember my audio settings, such as volume level and all the changes I made in the Creative Console Launcher (EQ, disable CMSS-3D, THX settings). After rebooting, the settings would revert to the default setting.
Solution:
I went into the Creative Audio Control Panel, to the "Restore Defaults" tab and, with all boxes checked, hit the "Restore Defaults" button. Whatever was causing it to not remember settings was cleared out and it now remembers all of my audio settings after restarting Windows.

have you already tried to start the soundcard ?at other PCs?
Do you have this problem with other usb-devices at your PC, too?
What happens after standby or hibernate?
Does for example a li've linux or windows in secure mode detect the x-fi after startup?
Maybe this details can be helpful to find the reason. I could imagine, the died internal sound card is inhibiting windows in detecting any other audio device...
I've had a died touch pad (the left mouse button didn't work after ~5 minutes) and until disable it, the same problem happened with the other trackpoint mouse, too.

Premiere CS6 does not remember some settings when saving custom export presets.

When I save a custom export preset in the export window, some settings are not remembered, and I need to change them every time again and again! The settings so far I found to not be saved are:
Key frame every ... frames
Limit data rate to ...

When I create and save an a H.264 QT preset
using the Export Settings dialog from within Premiere,
it does not save the key frame interval or max bitrate.
However, when I create a H.264 QT preset from within
Media Encoder and save... the missing settings are saved
and can be recalled from within the Premiere Export Settings dialog.
EDIT:
Re-tested this a bit more, and now the kf interval & max bitrate are
being saved with the presets created in Premiere Export Settings dialog.

No offense, but it never ceases to amaze me that anyone could set a 4 digit passcode, which they can not remember? None-the-less, you are clearly not alone as people seem to do this daily. You'll have to connect your iPad to your computer and in iTunes, restore your iPad as new.

CS6 not remembering my export settings

I just updated to CS6 from CS5.5 So far everything seems ok except that CS6 does not remember the format and preset I used to export my projects. It always comes up as AVI/NTSC DV when I go back to export my project even after I have saved it with a different export option.
In CS5.5 it would always remember my last export settings, but CS6 seems to lose that. Do I have something configured wrong?

Try Resetting Network Settings on the iPhone, go to Settings> General> Reset> Reset Network Settings. The iPod touch may have incorrect network settings saved.
