KP06 - Excel count be started

Hi,
I am running transaction KP06 and I get the message excel could not be started. I have researched and could not find anywhere it tells me how to fix this problem. I am the basis admin and my users are getting this message. But i am unsure of why or how to resolve this.
Can someone please let me know how this can be fixed. We are running ECC 6.0 ; EHP3.
Any help would be much appreciated.

Hi,
How to let the counter count the time, that doesn't start at the same time ?
This timing system is a sport timing system for canoe competition, it need to track 6 competitor that start at different time .
I have a problem , I have 6 counter in a VI that use to track 6 competitor, but it start count at the same time, how to make it count separately for each competitor ?
Do you guys know how to solve this problem ?

ya, i run it. I mean i know how to make it to 6 competitor already , and yes, it works but the time, it still count or start at the same time. I need to run each competitor at different time , like this competitor A 20-2-2012.VI . This is the one i do but it cant put a stop button. once i put a stop button, the clock stop counting but the whole VI is running.

Are you using the Office for Mac 2011 version, as you need to do? The Office for Mac 2004 is Not at all compatible with Mountain Lion, and the 2008 version has been noted to have some problems running with ML.

You get this sort of output, which is Postscript commands, when you use a Postscript driver to a printer that does not support the Postscript printing language.

KP06 excel upload, KP66 report painter error.

Hello everyone,
I am attempting to upload our budget planning into KP06 via the excel flexible upload function.
I have created a new user profile via KP34.
I have created a new layout via KP65.
I have saved the "Generic File" and the excel file created when assigning the layout to the planner profile in KP34.
I enetered the needed information into the excel spreadsheet created above, and saved it as a .txt file.
When I go in to KP06 and attempt to upload the .txt file through KP06, I am getting the following Message:
"The row inserted cannot be processed manually"
When I select this message for mare detail, here is what I see:
The row inserted cannot be processed manually
Message no. K9 072
Diagnosis
You have entered a new row.
The characteristic entered in the lead column or the combinations of characteristics entered in the lead columns cannot be processed manually.
System Response
The entered row is not accepted.
Procedure
Analyze the cause of the error in the corresponding transaction.
I believe that has to do something with the file format or how I setup the layout in KP65. However, I can figure out what the issue is.
I am very new to using SAP Report writer/painter.
Does anyone have any suggestions in resolving this issue?

Thank you for the replies. I did resolve the issue above (K9 072), the account group gave me a cost center and cost element that was blocked for use. Once I usees a valid cost center and cost element, the error went away.
We are using SAP version 4.6
With that said... I did receive another error, "Enter a numeric value"

Message no. 00 052
The valid cost centers are alphanumeric, not just numeric. For instance: IT1 is a cost center.
Can alphanumeric values be used? If so, how to I go about making them work with the upload in KP06?
I have looked at the layout in report writer (KP66) and I see no options on allowing alphanumeric values. However, I am very new to this and just may be missing it.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Frequency counter with start and stop - Need help

When No load, 200VA Unity , 400VA Unity, 600VA Unity, 400VA LAG, 400VA LEAD or Short is active Frequency Counter starts.
When OFF and BENCH PWR is active Frequency Counter stops and is grayed out.
Frequency Counter is grayed out when BENCH PWR is inactive
Any one know ho to do this?

In order to enable or disable a control you need to write a U8 value to the Disabled property of the property node for that control.
The values are:
0 = Enabled
1 = Disabled
2 = Disabled and Grayed Out

KP06 Excel 1 to 4 Rows not visible

Hi All,
I have created a layout in KP65 and when I open the excel template from KP06 by giving Cost Center and Cost Element the first 4 rows are hidden.
Even though I unhide them, when I open the template again the rows are hidden.
Please let me know what is the issue.

Is it possible to download KP06 template to excel and later upload the file, after filling in values

Hi
You can upload from excel file as well or create an LSMW to upload the values in KP06
As regards downloading the KP06 template, you wont need to download it if you use LSMW.. based on your recording in LSMW, system will propose you the fields required to be filled up in the excel file

Lion OS X automatically opens excel/word upon start-up?

I recently upgraded to lion OS X Seems now when I start up my iMac the MSOffice apps open automatically. For instance when Excel opens the first pop up says cannot open file due to corrupt file or extension. Is there a reset available for this?

This is likely to be OS X Lion's 'Resume' feature.
Firstly make sure that none of the MSOffice apps are open when you shutdown or restart and also deselect 'Reopen windows when logging back in' when this window is presented:
Also you could 'untick' this setting: System Preferences>General> 'Restore windows when quitting and re-opening apps'.

Microsoft Excel counting help

Good morning community,I need some help with Microsoft Excel 2013. I took a screenshot to help explain what I'm trying to accomplish. Column L represents the amount of times the 'defect code' for Column M appeared. In Column M, I want to take a count of how many times each number (Defect Code) appears. Then I want to add that value to the number in Column L associated with it. For example, '335' appears 3 times in Column M so that total is 3. In the first row, 1 is next to 335 in Column L. The second time it appears 3 is next to it, and the third is 1. Therefore, 5 is the total sum of how many times 335 appeared. Then you add those two numbers together so the total would be 3+5=8.If you were able to understand my incoherent explanation, is there anyway to get this 'total count' that I'm looking for? I was looking at pivot tables and...

Cupsd failing post snow leopard upgrade directly causing Excel to not start

This is possibly a FYI more than anything else... but I'm including it for google purposes! ;o)
Upgraded to Snow Leopard... had a few problems... sorted most out.
However, I had a huge problem where the whole Microsoft Office suite was not starting correctly!!!
For example, Excel was refusing to start at all.
Tried for hours... no joy.
Looking at logs found a regular cupsd crash... so tried to fix that.
Fixed it with the details from this other thread:

As soon as I fixed the cupsd problem... the whole Microsoft Office suite sprang into life!!!

FCS3 was installed about two weeks ago. and SL on the day of release
Post SL install I launched FCP7 with a complete launch failure and straight into a crash report.
Post a full reboot I retried and launched FCP7 with no problems
Since then I have downloaded a trial version of Red Giants 'Magic Bullet Quick Looks' and although it worked, it did crash a couple of times and seemed disjointed (not a very fluid plugin I trying to say) but always restarted.
The problem is that I wanted to test my applications in 64bit so I booted into the 64bit by pressing the '6' and '4' keys during boot up.
FCP7 on launch went straight into the crash report. Following that I have tried booting back into 32bit with no success.
Didn't know how much of the thread 0 you wanted hope this helps?

How do i clear the counter to start the "song" at a later point?

i recorded a "song" but left a long lead in before i started playing(with out playing on any tracks...this lasted about 30 seconds). now i need to reset the cue point(the 00.00 point) for the begining of the song. there is no cursor for the start of the music, only the ending. i've read through everything and can't find how to change that point....any thoughts....thanks....

Select all the regions, place the playhead at the point where the song actually begins, and press command-T. Select all the newly created "Silent" regions (the first 30 seconds bit) and press delete. Select everything and drag it to the left.

Excel won't start by Report Generator

I've got a LabVIEW 8.2 application that opens and sends data to Excel, but all of a sudden, it stopped working, it says Excel is not found or not installed.
It's an executable, only the Run-time Engine is installed.
I've reinstalled both the LabVIEW Run-time Engine and Microsoft Office, I tried clean installations (uninstalling, reinstalling) but nothing seems to work.
I upgraded it to LabVIEW 8.6 and installed the RTE of course, but I get the same message: "Excel is not found or not installed".
I created a simple executable that only opens Excel and it doesn't work.
So the application works properly except for the part where it opens Exel, I'm using Windows XP SP2, reinstalling Windows is not an option, so I'm kinda lost here, any ideas?

KP06 excel planning upload

We are on 4.6c. I am trying to upload plan for cost ctr/cost elem for 12 months. I have created a layout, planner profile, saved the generic file.
The layout has in the general data selection - version and fiscal year. There are two lead columns - Cost center and Cost elements and there are 12 col each for each period - characteristic with Total planned costs by period. and a dist. key attached to each. When i try to upload using excel, I get no error message but when i run a report - it uploads only the first period.
Why is it not uploading the rest? What am I doing wrong?
Any help is appreciated. We need to have this done by end of this week.

Hi Anu,
Just check if the period specified in all the columns is OK... I mean, check if the period 3 is there in Column 3 or 2.. If the periods mentioned are same from column 2 onwards, may be that is replacing the value...
