KP26 Planning - Cost Centre Group

Hi
I am trying to enter the plan activity type figures and amount through KP26.  I have selected the standard layout 1-201.  I entered a cost centre group and activity type.  However, when  going inside, It is coming only for a cost cetnre.  Why it is not showing the data input of all cost centres in the selected group ?
Moderator: Please, avoid asking questions on basic layout of standard transactions

let me ask one clarification in activity planning.
There are few cost elements which are directly attributable to Activities and there are others cost elements which are not directly related (fixed). 
In the above scenario, I hope, I have to use both KP06 & KP26 processes.  In the activity related, I have to use the quanity entry as well as the variable price.  In the KP06, I have to enter only the activity unrelated amount.  Am I correct ?

    hi,
    use transaction mb51 and enter movement type 201  run the report.
    you can also enter cost center number in report if required by cost centres.

  • Cost centre group wrongly assigned to standard hierrachy

    Hi Gurus,
    Can any one tell me how I can remove a cost centre group assigned wrongly to a cost centre stnadard hierrachy. I also have a cost centre defined under that cist centre group.

    T-Code OKEON: reassign the cost center from this special cost center group to another standard hierarchy node. If your group does not contain cost centers anymore, you can delete it from the hierarchy.

  • Duplication on reassigning the Cost centre group in Cost centre Hierarchy

    Hi Experts,
    We moved 2 cost centre groups in the Hierachy under T Code OKEON using drag and drop function. What we see is these two groups in their origanal place and also in new Place.
    I can not remove them either in OKEON or KSH2.
    How to fix this?

    You Can  go to KSH2 T.Code
    Then keep the cursor on required row & Select the Required row which you want to delete by Press F9
    That row will turn into Red Color
    Then Select F5 to Remove from the list
    Then Save it

    i have created the cost and cost center group also, its not showing in the Hierarchy are, kindly let me know what to do and where i am making mistake, please help me at your earliest and oblige.

  • Automatically transfer planning cost centre to profit center without 1KE0

    Dear Guru
    When  create planning for cost element, and cost center through KO06 therefore the planning only can be read in cost center report , and we cannot see the planning in profit center report. We only can see the planning in profit center report if I did the transfer planning using t-code 1KE0, my question is : is there any way to update the profit center report automatically when we create planning for cost element, without transfer planning through 1KE0?

    Yes you can...
    1. You have to check "integrated planning" in version maintenance...
    2. You have to maintain relevant settings in PCA IMG as well i.e. maintaining the doc types for planning and no ranges etc
    If you are on New GL, better to use New GL planning than EC-PCA planning...  Settings for the same can be found in New Gl IMG

    Hi,
    Please refer to Table SETLEAF for cost element group and cost center group. This table is based on set class and 0101 is for Cost Center Group and 0102 is for Cost Element Group.
    Cost Center Master data table is CSKS and Cost element Master data table is CSKB. To the bse of my knowledge you cannot directly join these two tables with SETLEAF table as key figure fields are not common. In case you are getting any ABAP report developed, you can ask the developer to write a code saying Controlling Area is equal to Organizational Unit as Set Subclass.

  • Cost Centre Report by monthly

    Hello SAP Gurus,
    We have developed a Zreport for Cost Centre report in monthly, for this i have used Table COEP , CSKS, SETLEAF. The report is working fine. It is not working for particular Cost Centre Group or Cost Element Groups, for this the values are taken from SETLEAF but other groups values are avialable in SETLEAF.thats why its working fine with some CCG or CEG
    we developed Zreport based on the user requirement with above tables, so some values are missing with compare KSB1.
    So please let me know how to find out CCG or CEG groups? in which tables?

    I'm midst of designing a Cost  Centre, dimension which will need to have Entity, Profit Centre ID, Profit Centre Description, Cost Centre Group, Cost Centre, Cost Centre DEesription and Process, I see some of the will be Hiearachy rolling up. Starting from Entity to Profit Centre ID & Description and to Cost Centre Group, Cost Centre and Cost Centre Description and finally to Process
    My query, is what is the element should be in Dimension and its memeber and properties ? I guess currency, owner ...
    do I need to have a column of Profit Cetre from and to side by side, what about Business Unit, and how does EVDESCRIPTION fits into this scenario ? does it carry Profit Centre Description or Cost Centre Description ?

    Hi,
    You can maintain Entity, Profit Centre ID, Cost Centre Group, Cost Centre as IDs and all their descriptions in the evdescription. The entity type of dimension must have currency, owner and / or reviewer property. The rest of the properties will depend on the actual requirements.

  • Activity types cost Elements not reflecting in Cost Centre Report.

    1. Here we are facing one issue in Zreport. total is not matching, compare with KSB1.
    Values are more in Zreport, in other words activity type cost elements are not reflecting in Zreport, but it reflecting in KSB1.

    The OBJNR field structure is as follows :-
    AABBBBCCCCCCCCCCDDDDDD
    AA = object type eg. KS (cost center)
    BBBB = controlling area
    CCCCCCCCCC = cost center
    DDDDDD = activity type
    Based on the structure, you will be able to filter the relevant cost center/activity types. You can also use other fields eg. cost element, partner object, source object, value type, etc. to get your desired figures as per KSB1.

    I have a question.
    The purpose of the cost centre is to control the cost at different levels. If the budgeting is not done at the cost centre level but at the cost centre node than is it better to make the node as the cost centre instead of the multiple cost centre below it.
    E.g in the present scenerio the budgeting is done at cost centre node level. There are 7 cost centre below this node. Now one of the cost centre is taken as the representative and the major expenses as Power and Direct labor are put in this. Other petty expenses are directly put in the respective cost centre.
    Is this a good pactice. Also at present they are not having full CO implementation. They do not have the assessment and distribution cycles.
    Please suggest that if there is large no of Cost centre than what will be the impact when complete cost centre accounting, Product costing, PA and PCA will be implemented in ECC 6.0.

  • Function module for custom report for cost center group

    I wonder, if there is any SAP function module for following query:
    We have got a custom program, which evaluates cost centers. We would like to evaluate a cost center group, like it is available within the report painter - the output screen is splitted into two parts, on the left part there is the cost centre group hierarchy and on the right side, there are the values for the node, which is selected within the hierarchy.
    Is there any standard function module od do we have to program it ourself?

  • Linking Cost Centre to Hierarchy via ALE

    When sending new Cost Centres from our FMS Server to HR/Payroll Server via ALE & IDOCS, the Cost Centres are created, but there is no link to the Hierarchy. (ie) when going into transaction OKEN, they do not appear under the relevant group. However in KS03, the new Cost Centre is displayed with its Cost Centre group.
    Is there a Function Module which can be run to rectify this, or can ALE be configured to do it.

  • Migration of Cost Centre Hierarchy from 4.7 to ECC.0

    Hi Gurus
    Our client is upgrading from 4.7 to ECC 6
    Now currently we have a standard hierarchy in Legacy system and multiple alternate hierarchies.
    I would request your suggestions on the best way to be able to combine and modify the Hierarchies outside Legacy System before uploading into ECC.
    I could find an IDOC COGRP01 which can create cost centre groups which requires data in a particular format.

    Choice is yours! Whether you modify it in the Source system 4.7 version and then transfer it to ECC or you move it as it is to ECC and then modify it in ECC

    How can I sort Cost Center Groups, in ascending order? It is easy to put in order the Cost Centers but I need to put in order the cost Center Group at all levels.

    Are you running the report on all cost centres or all cost centre groups?
    When we run reports, they are automatically sorted in cost centres - alphabetically!
    If you want to run the report on cost centre groups, you may need to create a variant that lists all cost centre groups, then add an explode to show the detail.
