KSS2 Splitting equally instead of actual quantity.

HI,
I am facing an issue with cost center actual splitting in KSS2. We are maintaining the planned prices in KP26 manually and not maintaining any quantity in KP26 (Planned quantity).
I have maintained spltting configuration properly.
1. Create splitting rule 10 (Based on actual quantity confirmation) with method 12(Actual quantity). version assigned "0".
2. Spllitting rule assigned to splitting structure and maintained the cost element group and activity types.
3. Production cost centers assigned to splitting structure in OKEW.
4. I have seen the report S_ALR_87013611 report where i can the activity types quantity which is confirmed against the production order.
Now when i run the tcode KSS2(actual cost center splitting), i am getting values with equally distributed to the respective activity types.
Kindly let me know if i missed any configuration.

Check if your Activity Master is enabled to calculate Actual Activty Price automatically
Your config seems correct to me, the way you have described... Also, check the fiscal year from which you assigned the CC to Splitting Structure in OKEW
If the above does not resolve, please send a screen shot of OKES (Splitting method and Assignment) and OKEW

Activity Independent Costs -Splitting Equally

Dear All,
When I try to split the Activity Independent Costs among various activity types ,Independent costs are being splitted equally among the activity types,even though I have selected splitting method as 12 (i.e. Activity Quantity) while configuring the splitting structure.
Actually the system should have splitted the independent costs based on Activity qty instead of splitting the costs equally.
Please help me out as how get the splitting of costs based activity qty.

Your splitting structure has 2 parts
1. Where in you define rule.. here you defined rule based on 012 (Qct Qty)
2. You create Assignments and assign your splitting rule here... I hope you have assigned the splitting rule here in the assignments
3. I hope the fiscal year from which you assigned cost centers to splitting rule in OKEW is also in line
4. Also check if you defined your target cost version in case you are doing splitting based on actual cost (KSS2)
5. Also, in splitting rule, I hope you have assigned a cost element group containing all your cost elements to this group and also your activity types between whom the costs are to be split up (In the tab "Selection for assignment)"
Once you do this, activity indep costs split based on act qty only... (KSS2/KSS4)...

Correct actual quantity (QM - Inspection lot)

Hey,
I have two questions regarding this topic:
1) is it possible to correct the actual quantity inside an inspection lot that had already been skipped?
2) Can I also adjust the number of packaging pieces instead of only the kg's. For example: 10 barrels (1000kg) come in for inspection and 9 barrels (950kg) go out of it.

Hello Philippe,
1) as long as nothin has been inspected in the skip lot and the UD has not been made you could use QAC1 to correct the inspection lot quantity.
2) using various MM transactions you can change the quantity in a quality inspection, the actual inspection size then has to be adjusted via QAC1. This can only work as long as no results have been recorded. Refer to note <a href="https://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/485141">485141</a> for details.

Actual quantity record in Report Painter

Hello SAP CO experts,
I have a question regarding actual quantity record which is not showing in internal order report for newly opened cost element (report created in Report Painter with reference to SAP report 6009-001 Actual/Plan Values/Quantity). Actual quantity from SD document flow is not updated with those cost element category 11- revenue. Actual line items report shows actual quantity, but total record is not updated in summary report.
Is it a problem that cost element at the time it was created did not have indicator for quantity record checked? As this field is time dependent, how can I solve this issue?
Please give me some advice regarding this question.

Hello Dusko,
If you have activated the tick at later date then it is obvious that you would not have the quantity posted between the date the tick wasn't there and the day you put the tick as no new documents are generated. However, if you can see the quantity in the line items then the same should be displayed in the table.

Actual quantity in service tab page becoming zero after updation

Dear friends,
We updated validity start date, end date in header and the field "form.val.2" in service tab page in item details of a service line item(item category D) in a Purchase order using the function module 'BAPI_PO_CHANGE'. After updation we observed the actual quantity (which denotes the total GR qty) becoming zero, making the PO completely open and allowing creation of service entry sheet for full quantity. This happend for so many POs. Now we want to correct the actual quantity. But as it is in display mode it now become difficult to change the actual quantity through any function module.
Seeking for a genuine solution about how to correct the actual quantity.

If you are in MTO, follow the steps below to update sales Qty in COPA
1. Go to your PA Trf Str in KEi1
2. Add an assignment line to it, say, 100....
3. TICK the QTY BILLED/DELIVERED for this assignment line
4. DO NOT assign any cost element in SOURCE
5. Assign a COPA Qty Field for this assignment line
6. Execute VA88

these fields i have taken from RESB table (matnr from RESB ,maktx from MAKT, bdmng from RESB, units of measure from RESB ),
now my question is from where do i get actual quantity ....
in which table does this actual quantity will be stored....

Check with field RESB-ENMNG as mentioned by Custodio.
He meant this field only by saying
If so, it's also in RESB-DENMNG.
I guess.
This will only give you the quantity withdrawn.
But for Actual Consumption Based on date you can use AUFM ( this table gives the Material Movements carried out for Prod. Order ).

Assuming you have an InfoObject for Quarter (say 0CALQUARTER) & Month (say 0CALMONTH), drag the Quarter InfoObject & Month InfoObject below in the Columns. Drag your KFs i.e. Planned Qty & Actual Qty below the Month InfoObject to form a KF structure. If you don't want Qty Unit to be displayed alongside your KFs, use NODIM() function & display Unit in the Rows.

Service to read the actual quantity produced

I am very new to PLM.I wanted to know if there is any Enterprise service available for getting
the Actual quantity of material produced in an particular duration i.e if i give the start date and end date
then that service should return the Production information in that particular period.The production information should include the quantity of the material produced.

Quantity of photos per left panel and actual quantity don't agree

In the Library left panel under Folders, the number to the right of my folders does not agree with the actual quantity of photos in that folder. The left panel number is always more than the actual quantity. This is not true of all my folders and sub-folders but is for many. Does anyone have an idea what is going on? Thanks.

I may not have explained my problem clearly enough so just to make sure we're on the same page, let me try again. In one folder, the number is the left panel states that there are 331 images. Yet in fact, there are only 329 images in that folder. I know this two ways. First, the index number only goes to 329. Second, I actually counted the number of images.
So please tell me again, what exactly would you like to see a screen shot of? I can show the left panel and the last image with the index number of 329. Is that what you are referring to?

Abi,
Can you see that there is a difference in the the actual costs reported on the Cost tab (350 RM), and those reported using the Rep Plan/Act button (1100RM).
This is because the Cost tab costs are not correct.
As pointed out by Maheswaran KD above, please run the correction program RIPMCO00 via transaction SE38/SA38, then check the Cost tab data again.
