Kt4v beep code problem, not listed.

Hey guys,
I have a problem with my MSI Via kt4v motherboard. A friend recently dropped one of the speakers from the table onto the case >:( (not a large drop but it killed it) and now whenever I turn it on all i get is three long beeps, then a 5 second break and it goes again. I can't seem to find the beep code anywhere. The screen doesn't come up with anything now so i can't even tell what bios its running, but I think it was award. I'm guessing its the ram or vid card but any help would be appreciated.

Have you opened up the system to check if anything was knocked loose? Remove and reinstall the memory and vid card for starters.

Hi Prasad, once you are in
spro- sd - sales -sales documents- sales document item -define item categories,
go to Additional Information-> Additional Information -> Display Key -> IMG Activity
this will show you a code, in this case SIMG_CFMENUOLSDVOV7
take last four caracters, this is transaction code: VOV7.

Lenovo G580 - Beep Code (Problem)

Hello.
I have problem with my laptop Lenovo G580.
I buy this laptop 3 months ago without systems. I have system Win 7 32-bit and 64-bit.
Now i ahve problems with laptops and warranty service.
Laptop turns on normally sometimes and sometimes not. ( If problems shows, i cut the power off, remove battery wait for few sec, and turn on, sometimes i must do it 3 times)
It often happens that the computer will not boot just beeps.

I thought that it is the fault of the firmware so I reinstalled Windows from 64-bit to 32-bit. It did not work. Flashing window appeared even when installing on a clean drive( second link, window blink on the beginning video), so I think it is rather not the fault of the firmware just the laptop PC hardware.
I sent the laptop with cinematics to warranty service and wrote back to me that "after many hour tests, there was no problem" reset bios, swapped RAM and sent him back to me.
Already two times I sent the laptop to them. Can you advise me what the problem is? What i can do to solve problem? Sorry for language mistakes. If need more information ples write in this topic.
Please help.

Welcome to the Lenovo Forums.
From the first video, it looks like there's a problem with the Windows Loader or a system file that's needed to load but fails. Since you already re-installed Windows, this is most likely not an OS issue.
- Windows 7 Boot Process
From the second video, the flickering can be with the display (LCD) or wit hthe GPU / GPU driver. It's a bit early to tell without running some tests.
If you manage to boot Windows, can you try the following:
1. Install Lenovo Solutions Center and run a full hardware scan on the PC.
2.. Alternatively, you can also manually install the following and run a quick test on the unit.
- Lenovo Video Quick Test
- Lenovo Motherboard Bus Quick Test
- Lenovo Memory Test
- Lenovo Storage Quick Test

Finding Codes are not listed in input help - EWM Quality Inspection

I have defined below objects
Catalog
Catalog filter
Finding type
Defect codes
Also mentioned catalog filter & finding type in inspection rule. However, when I create a finding in inspection document I am not able to see codes in input help. System is throwing error even if I enter manually.
Please help where I missed. Should I implement IF_QIE_CATALOG?

This is fixed. I have maintained "*" in catalog filter field while linking the catlog filter with catalog. When I maintained exact value of catalog filter value, it is working.

Ciscowork 2000 User tracking problem: not listing all IP address

Hello All!
We are troubleshooting ciscowork user tracking function and we don`t get any ip address outside the subnet where the server is!
Can someone explain how cisco work get the list of all ip addresse SNMP, CDP, scan ...??? From what I have read it seem to be from SNMP. Can I found which OID it use?
User tracking list all mac addresse, all switches but not the ip address. It is not in vlan 1. It stop working since we close vlan 1 and move the server to another vlan.
If your answer is: " cisco work can't see your gateway" Can you be more precis...I have seen that sentence but I don`t what that means...

First i would check to see if ANI actually discovered teh device. After checking that the IP address filter is correct and your snmp strings are correct then u can try lengthening the snmp retry timeout values: Also check DNS or your local host file for any typos.. failing this try some of these :
Click on Diagnostics > Discovery Metrics > and click on the hyper link number of devices.
This will show u exactky what ANI has discovered and its CDP relationship to other devices. If you do not see your router or L2/L3 device there, then u can try the following:
- check cpd neighbours and correct as required and retry discovery
- select jump router boundries from Setup > ANI admin > Discovery Settings and retry
- if all fails then add the device as part of the seed file.

Adobe Flash Player Plugin Problem (Not listed)

Installed latest Adobe Flash Player, continually have to enable and disable if for YouTube I have tried uninstalling and re-installing and Firefox itself too, got all the updates. When going to full screen viewing I get a blank white screen..This I have put down to a conflict of the software...if it is can you tell me where I can get the fix/patch??

FICO Transactions codes are not listed in standard SAP Menu

Hi experts,
While login on SAP client we couldn't see the Financial Accounting transaction codes in SAP Standard Menu.
But it appear in entering transaction code S000. How can we resolve this issue?

I think the screen has been customized for your specific retailing purpose..
You can see in your SAP menu,
It is showing "SAP Easy Access Retailing"
In normal GUI, we can see "SAP Easy Access"
Also try to click the "SAP Menu" (as shown Arrow).

Tecra S1 sends beep code - 2 short 1 long 3 short

I suspect a memory issue ...I have 256 meg pc2100 memory . I have tried switching slots and got it to boot but it froze after 2 min.
Would not restart after that only beep codes
Can someone help me?

Hi and thanks for your contribution. I investigated the thread you attached already. Unfortunately it doesn't answer the question. The Insyde BIOS (used in Tecra S1) is different to the others posted on many web sites.
There is no mystery in the beep codes and it doesn't take a Toshiba technician to interpret them either. If that were true why are beep codes meanings available for many other BIOS types. Self-diagnositc functions are just what the name implies and (in part) eliminates the need for a diagnostic tool to plug into the computer to track down hardware problems.
Personally I think there is far greater danger of screwing up a computer by randomly replacing hardware until the thing works. If I know what the beep code means I have a pretty good chance of knowing which hardware component is not functioning correctly. I can easily judge how expensive it might be and so forth. As a reasonably intelligent person I don't need a technician to read the beep code meaning, look up the hardware price and tell that what he/she just did will cost me X amount, before the repair is even started.
For those who may speculate that the beep code might be wrong and that only a technician can tell for sure - more nonsense. A technician doesn't know any more than you or me in that respect, apart from experience of the same problems. That leads us to the next logical place and that is if these failure modes and causes are so well known, why can't customers be allowed to know them. I don't want to know how many have failed in the field, but it is helpful to know what has been going wrong. It seems very strange that the problem my Tecra has, which is apparently common, has no published cause. I don't buy the notion that for the same beep code there are multiple causes. If that were true, the beep code is not doing what it was programmed to do and I would ask for my money back.
I know that I am wasting my breath here, but I wanted to express my view. I am sure that customer loyalty is not fostered by treating them like mushrooms.

Are you sure you have a 3GS and not a 3G? The 3G cannot be updated to iOS5. What version are you on now?... Settings > General > About > Version

Tecra S1 does not start - beep code appear

I have a problem with my Toshiba Tecra S1.
It don't start, just beep like this:
- Two shorts and One long
- Then, Three shorts and <two shorts and one long> and <three shorts> etc
I don't find out which BIOS is and the signification of these beeps.
Can someone help me?

I am not quite sure which brand the BIOS in your Tecra S1 is made of, but I think it might be a PHOENIX (compatible?) BIOS.
According to your "2-1-3" beep combination, it appears to be a failure on the 64KB Ram module. You will find a complete list of BIOS beeping codes here: http://www.bioscentral.com/beepcodes/phoenixbeep.htm
Don't know if this info helps you in any way besides deciding to carry your Notebook to a Toshiba Service for further investigation.
If you want, you can download a memory check software to confirm the suspicious 64Kb Ram area.

I need the code list the computer will only beep 3-3-3-3-3- . because the screen was cracked it still had a apicture I hooked another flat palnel Screen it woked so I took the old screen off the lab I tuened off the power and took out the Battert. then turned pc on Then it was beeping a code that can be found on HP I cannot frind the right one. the code will tell if drive is bad or Bios chip these are examples . This beep no. will show problem code. HELP .

Startup Repair Offline: Unable to fix problem and beep codes

I have an issue with my PC startup and boot,
My PC Model: Lenovo H330, Windows 7, i5 Intel processor.
Basically on the first attempt at booting, my pc plays a beep code which sounds like = 'beep-beep' + 'beep-beep-beep' followed by a blank screen, on a second attempt the pc boots fine.
I believe this is 1 long and 3 short, the code does not seem to be in the Lenovo Bios support guide to beep codes, not only this but when I attempt Startup Repair in order to fix the problem it states it has
failed to fix the problem, details below:
Problem Event Name: Startup repair offline
PS1: 6.1.7600.16385
PS2: 6.1.7600.16385
PS3: unknown
PS4: 268
PS5: Autofailure
PS6: 1
PS7 No Root Cause
Local ID: 1033
Further Information:
- Information on the failure to repair states error code 0x490
- Before the issue started, AVG Free Antivirus 2015 lost active components and I was unable to update or turn components back on; at the same time it proved to be very difficult to uninstall.

I agree with ZigZag ,you may need to resolve the beeps code first .The machine may suffer a hardware issue .

First of all ,follow Parvesh_s`s answer ,check the BIOS settings .We may need to reset the BIOS settings to have a check.
If the issue persists ,take the KrisM771`s method to repair with an installation media.
If the auto repair will not work ,take the alebcay`s suggestion .Repair it with the command .

If it is not listed in the MB1B transaction then there is a very good reason and so just adding it is not going to work.
342 is the transfer from restricted to unrestricted and so is related to batches. The O you mention indicates stock with subcontractor. Do you actually mean 342 and not 542?
If you DO mean 342 then you should not try to do this via MB1B you have to use the correct process and do this via the batch functions.

I live in the 807 area code in Canada and it is not listed when I try to set up my skype to go number(s). Is this a glitch, or is the service not available in all areas?
