Kuler panel in CS4 problem

Hello,
I am having a serious problem with kuler panel in FW, AI, PS
and with search field in FW + AI.

Cant see the kuler colors as they should look like, because
they are covered with yellow tint (looks like 50% alpha).
This was happening on with my old graphics (geforce 8600gt),
but happens with new (radeon hd4670) one also. Latest drivers,
latest updates, lates everything.. So I reinstalled windows, sp3,
windows update, new drivers, clean CS4 install.. Same freakin
problem. Can anyone tell what is the problem here? I am using
download version cs4 design premium english.

Another thought that may help. If you look at the Settings
tab of the Display Properties of your desktop, is the screen
resolution correct. Also is the color quality set to at least
Medium (16 bit) color or Highest (32 bit) color. If it's less than
this, you may get the yellowish overtone. I just VPNed into a
client and saw the same effect because the color quality was set to
256.

Custom File Info Panel CS2- CS4

I have a Custom File Info Panel that has been created in Adobe Photoshop CS2 and works in CS3. I am having trouble figuring out how to get it to work in CS4. Is there a way to port the Custom File Info Panel into CS4 without entirely recreating it?
I am seeing references to FileInfo SDK and creating a new Flex UI but I can't seem to find a definitive method on this pre-CS4 File Info Panel to the new UI - and I am in unfamiliar territory.
Any assistance or points in the proper direction would be most helpful.

I've had some success and it appears that my custom file info metadata edited and saved in CS2 is now visible in CS4 and the reverse is also true - metadata edited and saved in CS4 is visible in CS2. This was built using the Generic Panel from the SDK according to the instructions shown at the link in my original post.
The only problem is that the external application that relies on the custom metadata doesn't see the CS4 version of the metadata. I suspect that this is just some general namespace issue. Perhaps if an XMP expert would be willing to comment on the conversion of the Custom Info Panel based on the following single portion of the metadata to see if I am doing it correctly - I would very much appreciate it.
In the CS2 Custom Info Panel XML I have this field:

It seems that the following CS2 => CS4 translations should be true:
"xmp_namespace" => xmp_schema namespace property (in this case "xyzcorp")
"xmp_path" => xmp_property name property (for this one property, "FullName")
is there another translation that I am missing? I am betting it has something to do with the CS2 "xmp_ns_prefix" but I am not entirely sure how to map this. Also perhaps something in manifest.xml (though it didn't seem like it)?

Kuler Panel doesn´t work

I´m trying to use the Kuler panel in Adobe Illustrator and when I open the panel I get a message saying:
Not connected. To continue, ensure that you are connected to the internet and that your preferences allow services to connect to the internet.
Since my computer IS connected to the internet and I couldn´t find any preference in Illustrator about internet connection, I have no idea what it ia talking about or how I can solve this problem
¿Has anyone encountered this problem? ¿Any idea how to solve it?

Did you repair your permissions or tried this You don't mention what platform I guess Windows,
I am not ceertain tha this is the correct path for your version of Windows they chang it each version
1. Quit Illustrator.
2. Rename the AIPrefs file (for example, to AIPrefs.old) in the Users/(user)/AppData/Roaming/Adobe/Adobe Illustrator CS5 Settings folder.
3. Start Illustrator. Illustrator creates a new preferences file.

2.Go to User/username/Library/Preferences/ Adobe illustrator CS5 Settings and trash the settings folder, the whole folder not just the contents of the folder..

Can't scroll in Kuler panel, can't see a lot of my themes

Maybe this belongs in another form because it's more about Kuler, but it's the Kuler extension in PS CC 2014. So sorry if wrong place.
Anyway, I have the Kuler panel from https://creative.adobe.com/addons/products/2507#.U7iiQ_ldVXG and I'm glad we can finally see our own themes; however, I can only see a small portion of my themes. I click on my themes, wait for it to load, and then I'm stuck with just my few most recent themes. I have more than 10 themes, but I can only see up to 10. I can't scroll, page, or use any other method of actually looking at more of the list. I can't make the panel any wider. Even if I make the panel the height of my whole monitor, Kuler doesn't use the bottom part and only shows up to 10 themes. Doesn't matter if I'm looking at popular themes, my favorite themes, or themes I've created. To be honest this problem is rather frustrating because it makes the Kuler panel pretty useless, and I want to use it so much
So am I the only one having this problem?

Since installing LTR 5.4, which I've now upgraded to 5.6, I've encountered repeated slowness and malfunctions in operations, especially when using the Compare View function and the Tab key to open and close the right and left side panels. Such problems never arose during two years of using LTR-4 and nothing else has changed on my computer. I have a pretty simple system with only a few plug-ins, which are usually not in operation. I have 12GB of RAM in my Windows 7 PC. I could illustrate these problems with screen shots if you would tell me how to submit screen shots. Otherwise I will try to describe the problems in words.
The problem is clearly cumulative, growing worse as usage time passes. Compare View feature gradually slows down and eventually seems to choke as my work session proceeds. If I Exit LTR and re-enter and start all over, things will work normally for maybe 30 minutes, but then the Compare View feature begins to become very slow to respond. In a recent example with my screen full of thumbnails in Library mode I highlighted two images to compare. LTR started to open the Compare View screen by first having the top row of thumbnails disappear to be replaced by the "SELECT" and "CANDIDATE" words in their spaces (but no images), but Compare View never succeeded in gaining control of the screen. After some seconds the top row of thumbnails reasserted its position and the Compare View windows disappeared. But LTR kept trying to bring them back. Again the top row of thumbnails would go away, Select and candidate would reappear, try again, and give up. This went on for at least 2-3 minutes before I tried to choose File and Exit, but even that did not initially want to respond. It doesn't like to accept other commands when it's trying to open Compare View. Finally it allowed me to exit.
To experiment I created a new catalog of 1100 images. After 30-40 minutes, the Compare View function began to operate very slowly. With left and right side panels visible and two thumbnails highlighted, hitting Compare View can take half a minute before the two mid-size images open in their respective SELECT and CANDIDATE windows. When the side panels are open and two images are in the Select/Candidate spaces, hitting the Tab button to close the side panels produces a very delayed response--25-30 seconds to close them, a few more seconds to enlarge the two images to full size. To reverse the process (i.e., to recall the two side panels), hitting Tab would make the two sides of the screen go black for up to a minute, with no words visible. Eventually the info fields in the panels would open up.
I also created a new user account and imported a folder of 160 images. After half an hour Compare View began mis-placing data. (I have a screen shot to show this.) CANDIDATE appears on the left side of SELECT, whereas it should be on the right. The accompanying camera exposure data appears almost entirely to the left of the mid-screen dividing line. Although the Candidate and Select headings were transposed, the image exposure data was not, but the data for the image on the right was almost entirely to the left of the line dividing the screen in two.
Gurus in The Lightroom Forum have examined Task Manager data showing Processes running and Performance indicators and they see nothing wrong. I could also send screen shots of this data.
At this point, the only way I can process my images is to work 30-40 minutes and then shut down everything, exit, and re-start LTR. This is not normal. I hope you can find the cause, and then the solution. If you would like to see my screen shots, tell me how to submit them.

Why the Kuler panel is not available in Adobe Photoshop & Illustrator CS6 french language ???? it's ok when I make an Int. US language install ! can I find the kuler.atn somewhere?
Only the Mini Bridge appears in the extention panel....

and I suppose it's the same in the Canadian law too . So, if I understand you, I buy an incomplete software without any information from Adobe about that !!!!! and you don't alow me to use a complet french version of the software I paid and use on the US country because of a French law that nobody knows neither follow except ADOBE????? can you explain me more because I really don't understand your "no answer" to explain an other bug in your software... Why do you sell it as an incomplet solution at the same price in that case? Just have to inform every users about that and we will baught the US (or other language) versions in place of the french one...
Is there finaly a temporary solution to find & install the kuler extention from the US version to the french version in Photoshop & Illustrator (by myself, of course and without the agreement of ADOBE )

I Cant get the kuler panel to work in illustrator cs6.

everyone here is right, dreamweaver is better and you will need to understand html for this to work. HOWEVER, you can make a functional website using just illustrator and notepad (or text edit if you're on a mac).

Save for web and select html and images, you'll get an html file and an images folder. Open the HTML file in your text editing program and it will look like this: http://s10.postimg.org/f32nf6r2h/html_stuff.jpg you'll have to know HTML codes but you can find tutorials online for most stuff, you'll just have to figure it out. In my fake site, i linked a button to google so i had to add <a href> tags to the code. http://s22.postimg.org/5avpadhch/a_href.jpg save the html file and open it in your web browser, hopefully not IE. Connecting to Kuler in Illustrator CS4

I am connected to the Internet, yet a get a message that I am NOT connected to the Internet when I try to launch Kuler in Illustrator CS4. I am using a Mac Notebook, MAC 0SX Version 10.7.5

It's because theme is saved in CMYK. The RGB values displayed in kuler website are as per the Web color conversion whereas Illustrator utililises their own conversion. If you notice, in CMYK documents, values are displayed correctly.

Why is the Kuler panel not syncing in Illustrator CC?

I love using the Kuler panel in illustrator but I downloded the new CC version and my color panel will not load my themes or allow me to browse other Kuler sets. Here is what I am seeing:
Then when I click on the Download My Themes button I get this:
Now I know I am not offline becasue I can still go on to the Kuler website and get themes and my login apears in the box above the Download button.
So how do I browse themse and get them in to Illustrator with in the application?

Sorry if this sounds like something you've already checked, but I need to ask - is your Adobe ID and the credential to enter the Kuler website the same? If they are, you should be able to browse your themes, and the public themes that you have liked.
Nevertheless, I'm checking with the team if there is anything else that could cause Illustrator CC to not download your themes and show you that error message.

I don't know why the panel is not distibuted in the French version, and I don't believe you'll get an english copied version to load either, due to Flash security measures.
