How do you download your Kuler color themes into Illustrator?

This is how I do it, I am on CS5.1
Kuler.adobe.com
Sign in
Select theme from the ‘colour rule’
move sliders or input data into specific fields
give it a name
click save
click download (mine goes to the ‘download folder’ - Mac)
Illustrator
swatches
open swatch library
go to ‘name.ase’
click on the folder icon / drag folder into the swatches panel
Use.

Kuler Klash error when trying to sign in to Kuler

I have tried for the past two days to sign in to Kuler and I keep getting the "Kuler Klash" error, so I am unable to sign in and download themes.

Hi, I believe this has to do with authentication
(reauthenticates for actions like save/publish), though it's odd
that you can log in, it's only on subsequent authentication. I will
log a bug, however, since Adobe is shutting down today through
January 2, further investigation will start in the New Year once
the various teams are back. Thank you all for bringing this to our
attention and for your patience!
In the meantime, please let us know if:
1. Have you EVER been able to save or publish?
2. Does this happen on other actions such as downloading?
3. Sometimes even though I get the kuler klash message,
things are still happening and I can still click on the interface
or refresh. Please describe what happens.
4. Is your Adobe ID an email address or not?
5. OS/browser (we always ask!)
I will be back on Jan 7 and can follow up then. Will try to
bring you more joy in the New Year. :-)

However there are two issues that I don't think have been addressed that make the old API unusable:
1) URLs in the RSS feeds are not publicly accessible links. For example:

Kuler no longer working in InDesign CS4

Hi
I've been googling this a lot but haven't found a (working) solution yet. I did find a link to what could be a solution, but the link is not working anymore.
I'm an IT guy in an office where we have a small team of four people using Adobe Creative Suite 4. Recently they contacted me asking for help because Kuler was no longer working for them (it stopped working for all four).
I installed InDesign CS4 on my own machine only to see that it does not work for me either. The error message is "No internet connection detected. Your computer must be online in order to search or access kuler themes".
When I go to Windows -> Extensions -> Connections I'm able to login, but not able to search for updates, I just get "The update server is unavailable".
When running the Kuler Air app I just get "kuler klash, please try again later".
Because we're a big company we do of course have antivirus and firewalls. To make sure that the problem isn't because of this I installed InDesign on a machine (server) on a completely different network with less strict firewall and no antivirus on the machine, but It's just the same error message as before.
Our machines are running Windows 7 Enterprise (the extra test was done on a Windows 2012 Server).
Is Kuler just not working for CS4 anymore?

The Kuler team recently rebuilt the backend of the Kuler service for security, maintenance, and peformance reasons. (the old back-end was showing signs of failure).
Anyway, it seems the new backend is not working with old Kuler APIs (CS3, CS4, and the air app and mac widget). Adobe typically provides support for up to two versions back. At the moment, that's CS5 or newer. So, I'm afraid it's not likely that you can expect a fix for CS4.
At this point, your team can use the web application to browse, create, and search themes. They can also download themes as ASE files (on the website) to import into InDesign CS4.

I can't install Kuler

Hi,
there i have a question to solve a problem wich appears while
installation of kuler.
Every time the installation process abort with the
Errormessage
"Sorry an error accured.
The application could not be installed, cause the
Air-Application is damaged.
Please connect the application author to get a new one."
Other Air Tools could be installed without a problem.
I already tried to install Adobe Air again, but the message
still accrures.
My system is a pc in german language with adobe air
1.5.0.7220

We've isolated the issue with the Kuler AIR Desktop, and have
fixed the problem. To get the application working again, you'll
need to uninstall your current version and then install the latest
version.
You can find the latest version on the kuler.adobe.com main
page. Just click on the "Kuler desktop" link on the News and
Features area on the far right side of the page after uninstalling
your current version.

Weird Kuler Extension Panels in PS and AI

The Kuler panel on AI, "Unable to connect to the kuler website, The server is either busy or you are offline." But it does work on INDD and PS I just can't see any of my saved color schemes I can only see the popular ones.
I have done research and saw about the setting in com.adobe.AdobeOnlineHelp.plist but those setting are correct and I can connect to the Adobe exchange. I have swatches saved at my kuler site and can get them using my iPad and adobe ideas. I also saw a post about having verdana font active which it is.
I am at a loss and tired of scouring the net for ideas....So can I get some help so that I can get my kuler panels back to life? Or is this turned off like the file sync is now?

I am on the latest CC version for all my programs.
PS I can get the kuler panel to work but I cannot see my saved color schemes. Here is a screen shot of photoshop.

How to Fix: Color CC Only Syncing Old Saved Kuler Themes to Illustrator, Not Any New Themes I Make/Save?

When I open the Color Themes panel in Illustrator CC (2014.1.0 Release), and click the "refresh" button, it only pulls in the themes I had saved on the web back when it was "Kuler." No new themes that I make (that show up on the web under "My Themes") sync with Illustrator. How do I get the new themes to sync?
(I've already logged in & out, restarted the programs and the computer, to no avail.)

Hi,
I am running OSX (10.9.5), and I just installed the latest security update & restarted. Still, it doesn't seem to resolve my problem, unfortunately.
Within the Color Themes palette, it still has my old themes, but when I refresh, the new ones don't show up, and it doesn't mention any error.
Incidentally, when I open the "Illustrator"/Application menu and scroll to where it lists my Adobe ID email, in the fly-out menu it says it wasn't able to sync my settings because an "Unknown Error Occurred." However, nothing seems to be out of order when I click in to manage the sync settings.

Why the Kuler panel is not available in Adobe Photoshop & Illustrator CS6 french language ???? it's ok when I make an Int. US language install ! can I find the kuler.atn somewhere?
Only the Mini Bridge appears in the extention panel....

and I suppose it's the same in the Canadian law too . So, if I understand you, I buy an incomplete software without any information from Adobe about that !!!!! and you don't alow me to use a complet french version of the software I paid and use on the US country because of a French law that nobody knows neither follow except ADOBE????? can you explain me more because I really don't understand your "no answer" to explain an other bug in your software... Why do you sell it as an incomplet solution at the same price in that case? Just have to inform every users about that and we will baught the US (or other language) versions in place of the french one...
Is there finaly a temporary solution to find & install the kuler extention from the US version to the french version in Photoshop & Illustrator (by myself, of course and without the agreement of ADOBE )

Unable to view color themes in Kuler pannel

I am unable to view color themes in my Kuler pannel in Illustartor. It gives me an error saying: no color themes found in your account. How can I browse existing color themes?

What Reports version are you using (eg, 9.0.2.0.0)? Since you are running the Report Builder, please specify the iDS version, and not the iAS version. Also, what Operating System are you running on?

Unable to connect with Kuler Air app and Extension

Hi,
I am unable to connect Adobe Kuler Desktop(Air app). I can't login through the app. Only thing I can see when I launch the app is the RGB rotating, even after an hour.
I tried reinstalling the app two three time. No way. same issue persits.
I tried to connect through a proxy server enable and through a direct connection. same issue.
Not only the Kuler Desktop, but the plugin also has the same problem.
Please help.

Hello, I was getting the same RGB loading... issue, however I was able to Sign In at the bottom with my Adobe ID, and then themes started loading when I selected from the dropdown (e.g., Most Popular). It's a little slow, but seems to be working.

Kuler panel stopped working in CC 2014

Photoshop CS4 - Kuler can't connect

I'm using a corporate proxy to access the internet. Adobe Updater figures this out, and prompts for my proxy credentials before checking for updates. Kuler and the Extensions > Connections panel just get a "No Internet connection detected", and "The authentication server is unavailable", respectively. I know I have an internet connection, since I've been searching the forums and google for a solution to this. I can't vouch for the status of the authentication server, but I suspect that's fine too.
I have a feeling that since I wasn't prompted for proxy credentials, that must be the issue, but I can't really believe that a mature product such as Photoshop would not work behind a proxy server, or even allow me to edit preferences to configure my proxy settings manually. Is there any kind of workaround that does not involve my IT department adding an exception (which won't - and shouldn't happen)?

From the Window > Extensions > Connections dialog I get the error "The authentication server is unavailable."

Kuler search in Photoshop not working

I am trying to use the search tool in the Kuler extension in photoshop, but it is unresponsive. It does not show any search results, or seem to do anything when I type in the search field and hit return. I am trying to access my color themes through the Kuler pallete, so I can edit them in photoshop. I know that the Kuler palette is connecting to the online site, as I can see the public themes + I am also able to upload to Kuler throgh photoshop.

Same here. I can see all my old Kuler themes on the web and in Photoshop, but when I add a new one on the newer Adobe Colors website, those themes never show up in the Photoshop extension. Seems broke! I am also using latest PS CC, but maybe there is a Kuler extension update?

Kuler not working in illustrator cc

i am trying to use my kuler the same way i did in cs6. however when i put in "yellow: in the kuler search it tells me there are no matches.
do you change something or what, this really sucks if you did.

I don't know if there's a video, but if there is, it should be around here: http://tv.adobe.com
You'll have to do more on the kuler website (or with the Kuler app for iOS) and then you can download your stuff inside Illustrator.
