KVM console launch issue

I have a UCS c220 M3 where I am trying to install on the HV. The current version on the CIMC is 1.4.6. While on the CIMC, I hit the "Launch KVM Console", but the KVM does not launch, the only response I get (while using Google Chrome) is that I get a viewer.jnpl file and (10.22.XX.XX@0@1350949862108) next to it. I have tried using Firefox and IE, and have the same issue. I have also updated my java version to a current release.
Any ideas as to what I am not doing correctly? Thanks in advanced.

Hey WB
This one is a little different as you are launching the JNLP successfully.
Without seeing what is in the details button I would suspect it is a network / communications issue and not a Java issue.
ie: proxy server is set or you can't reach the blade directly.
Give it a shot without a proxy server and try again. Keep in mind that Java can use different proxies than your browser, or not use a proxy at all even when your browser is set to use one.
I'm not sure that this is a good test, but check the management IP of the blade and do a basic test by telneting to port 443 from the PC you are trying to access it from. If you can open a blank window then that's a good sign and hopefully it's just a proxy issue.
Cheers

So, if that happens on a single PC I'd say this is a config conflict with that PC's Java settings.
So Java 7 U21 is running on this PC and you still see the problem? have you confirmed you only have  one Java version installed on this machine to avoid a conflict?

It goes to starting application, Verifying application. ( takes about a minute )   then pops up a  Do you want to run this application ?
I check accept the risk and run this application.
It automatically goes to Connecting to KVM Server , then Message popup Login Failed or Timed out. Please try again.
I have set up a admin account under admin.

  • Creative Console Launcher 2.60.35 Update issue

    Hi everyone,
There is a slight issue with the latest Creative Console Launcher 2.60.35. The driver team are currently rushing to fix this and will have an update shortly. At the meantime, please do not install this update.

    Hi everyone,
The issue has been resolved and the Creative Console Launcher 2.60.35 is now available for download.

  • Where are the console launcher profiles saved (x-fi)

Everytime i install new drivers, all my equalizer settings get erased. and i have equalizer profiles for each band..
does anynone know where these are stored on win7 64bit, or any OS. I kind of want to back them up
thx in advance for any help

Since this was a question I had too, and Google brought it up as the 1st hit for the search parameter "creative console launcher where equalizer settings saved", I thought I'd post the answer for future reference.
    Using Win 7 Pro x64
    Look here:
    C:\ProgramData\Creative\CADI\Preset
    For this data file:
    PCI_BUS1102-5-2C1102-EC00U{1}.PCI+VEN_1102&DEV_0005&SUBSYS_002C1102&REV _00+4&1B00B4D9&0&484.dat
I found that when I created a test preset called EQ Test, saved it, and then exited CCL, the Date Modified stamp changed to the current date and time.
That's more than likely the file to backup so you don't have to re-enter EQ settings. Like a lot of you, this issue has been driving me nuts when you have something tweaked just right. Creative Labs UI developers need to think a little harder when creating these types of programs.

  • There is no mode switcher on my Audio Console launcher.

I have the Soundblaster X-Fi Extreme card and downloaded some time ago the console launcher. The application on the site says the version currently available dates from 2007. I open up the launcher but do not have the modes tab at all. Why is that? How can I get a version that has it? I want to use the audio creation console.
Any assistance would be appreciated. Creative Audio Console Launcher panel .jpg

Thank you for your prompt response. This is my first time on this forum and hope that I can get some help with this issue. I'm very glad this forum uses this format you've recently adopted. I believe it's the same as the one on my Ubuntu Forum. It's a sad thing that this kind of rubbish shows up everywhere nowadays.

  • New console launcher - NOT SAVING SETTINGS (Vista x

wtf. new console launcher version is not saving my settings.... speaker settings.. volume etc.. everytime i? reboot its back at default.
    I have:
reinstalled console launcher. did reg clean / driver sweep etc.
    still doesnt work. anyone?

In audio console you have a tab "restore defaults" uncheck everthing from it, this may help you as helped me long time ago and I am unchecking it since then just to be sure and never have the problem again. You can also hack Auzentech drivers and Install theirs consoles it can resolve this issue but you must do this at your own as nobody can support you with info how to do this nor will I.Message Edited by Art385 on 08-06-2008 04:24 PM

  • Sb x-fi xtreme audio console launcher problems on windows 7 32bit

Asb x-fi xtreme audio console launcher problems on windows 7 32bit'sI recently installed windows 7, because I was tired from Windows XP, but unfortunately after installing all the drivers for my hardware I realized my 5. isn't working quite as expected.
My first problem was, that the Crystalizer didn't work, after installing tons of different software, found on creative labs forums the crystalizer started working.
Then I realized that the CMSS-3D wasn't (and still isn't working). How do I fix that ? I've tried numerous ways but nothing happens, while in windows XP everything worked fine after installing the drivers.
I also miss some configuration options in the Creative Console Launcher, namely the check boxes:
?"Automatically enable headphone settings" and "Automatically mute speakers".
Where the hell did they go?! I use them, I need them. How do I get them back? Is XP somehow privileged than 7? Isn't it supposed to be the opposite?
I also can't change the speaker configuration - it's stays 5. whatever I do, and the drop-down menu with the choices is missing?! Auto-detect option doesn't work, and if it did worked - I don't need it.

To : woj2322, You may need to download and install the Dell Notebook System Software version 5.0.5. This installs patch fixes to solve the PCI ExpressCard device not work correctly. This is only for the DELL Inspiron 520 Notebook (See Below). Microsoft patch fix info below also. Also, I see there's other people that are having the same issue, maybe you to need to download and install the patch fix for your notebook's on dell's website. It's called "Dell Notebook System Software" under "System Utilities"

  • KVM Console Access to Servers in UCS Failed- Connection failed !

    Dear Team,
All of a sudden we were not able to take KVM of Servers, for all servers from
    both chasis
In Java console it was showing Connection time out error
og4j:WARN No appenders could be found for logger (com.nuova.centrale.core.log4j.NuRollingFileAppender).
log4j:WARN Please initialize the log4j system properly.
    Connection failed.
Not even able to ping the KVM Console IP that was working fine all these days (IP are of same range as of FI)
After 1 hour of trouble shooting ,we finally decided to reboot FI-A
and FI-B took over as cluster lead-primary,then we were able to take KVM of servers.
We also looked at the PDF UCSM-kvm-troubleshooting-00
Now after reboot FIA came up and we did not wait for the primary role switch over, but logged into FIB and made FIA as primary on doing this we lost KVM COnsole access.
So now we rebooted FIA again and FI-B took over as cluster lead-primary,then we were able to take KVM of servers. Now this time after FI-A came up after reboot we waited for  the primary switch over to happen by itself and after sometime FI-A got its role back as primary and KVM access started working fine
so would like to know..the initial issue with FI-A is it because of CIMC hung? and on forcefull manual change over of FI-A as primary did not help in getting KVM console access any reason?
    Thanks and Regard
    Jose

    Hi Padma,
    We have 2 FI A and B
    say A is 21 B is 22 and 20 cluster ip
Are you able to ping FI A and B mgmt interface IP address ?
how we are connecting is ,we connect from FI A mgmt port to a switch
and there we manage at this point we can ping 21 and 20 not 22 and vice versa
Have you ever rebooted CIMC of the blade ?
We did not reboot CIMC alone ,we rebooted a server itself
    how to reboot CIMC alone?
Did it happen for all blades managed by FI A ?
yes we checked from both chasis, physical connectvity given from both FI
    Thanks and Regards
    Jose

  • Console Launcher No support Audio Device Available

Note: Creative SB X-fi is detected (without a yellow mark) in my device manger. My card is an X-fi Titanium Fatalty Professional.
The easiest way I can put this is by explaining the mistake I made. Without installing the card, I moved it from one PCI-e slot to another, the one below it. This caused a small annoying issue that I decided to fix by totally uninstalling the card (correctly I hope) and putting it back in it's original slot. After reinstalling it via the disk it came with, when the computer restarts afterwards I am told that no supported hardware is detected and most of what seems to have installed correctly doesn't even show in my programs.
I have tried uninstalling and driver sweeper for HOURS straight over and over and so far nothing is working. Has anyone had a similar issue or know what the problem is? I've already made sure I'm using the same settings I originally used before moving slots but no dice.
P.S. During SOME of the updates or even installations, I? occasionally receive the error I-00 (usually during Alchemy or Creative Control Console installations or Updates) and I am told the installation can't continue. It does though, simply bypassing these things/
    I am using Windows 7 64bit

Update: I'm facing a new issue now during installation! -EVERY- time the install wizard finishes and I restart the computer, I see the volume panel icon on the task bar and Creative SB X-fi when I hover over it. However, when I double click to open the console launcher (Which installed correctly to my knowledge) I'm told no supported audio device is available.
Did I break my card or something after what I did earlier? Or is my disk screwed up now too? I'd really rather not use the motherboard's crappy audio, I can actually tell that the audio quality is lower.

Hey all, I was just wondering if any of you had the same problem out there. For some reasons all of the sudden, both Audio Console and Creative Console Launcher aren't showing any speaker settings or CMSS-3D at all, as if they were removed from them completely. When i run THX Console it crashes... Is there a way to fix this issue? This is all in Windows Vista 32bit. I'm Using:
    P4P800
    Pentium 4 2.8 Ghz
    2.5 GB of ram
    500 GB Sata2 Hard Dri've (Vista installed)
250 GB Sata, 00 GB IDE, & 60 GB IDE Hard Dri'ves (storage)
    28 MB ATI Radeon 9800
Creative X-FI Fatalty Champion (similar to Platinum)Message Edited by Unk_chaos on 0-03-200807:55 AM

  • Creative console launcher Titanium HD Win7, not working

    I just purchased the Titanium HD to upgrade from the Xtreme Audio. I have spend the whole day, and I literally mean the whole day on trying to solve;
"There are no supported audio device available. You need to close the application. Click OK to close the application now."
When trying to run the Creative console launcher. I have spend countless hours doing the installation all over again and again by different methods. I've tried with the CD in the package, I've tried the latest drivers and software from your website, I've tried to re-insert the sound card several times, I've tried to sweep the drivers with Sweep Driver 3.0 and removed all registry entries, folders and files with my Revo Uninstaller Pro, with no god **bleep** luck.
    At no point in time has the driver not been working. It should be all fine - sshot provided;

    Sound also works. However, I do get error when installing the driver - sshot provided;
    http://www.myupload.dk/showfile/967850f6ff7.jpg/
I Googled it and most seem to claim that application is not important and can be disabled. I have Googled the issue so many times, and found many people with the same issue, but who seem to get it working some way or another at the very end..... Just not me...
Though the card works I cannot access the cards features without it's software, and the card is therefore, basically uselsss. Had I known I'd run into this I would have picked the Asus Xonar Essence by miles! Although I did ask creative for help in an e-mail I'm afriad this is going to have to end up with a dispute between me and the retailer :/

    Your first problem is this:
You upgraded from one card to the other. Uninstaller or not, you have a ton of remnants left over from that old card.
Try this for your no supported device:
    no supported device fix
Reboot, and try again. If this does not work, then install this driver....newest for your card.
    after rebooting, try again.
If that does not work, then you can manually unzip that driver you downloaded above to a temp folder (that driver is a self extracting executable).
Then you can go to device manager and choose to update driver and browse the temp folder you made above and update your driver and reboot.
See if any of these help you.

  • Creative Console Launcher causing stat

System: 64bit Vista Ultimate, 4gig ram, nVidia 3500, Soundblaster X-FI Fatalty Extreme Gamer Okay, after 4 hours of problems with my initial install posted elswhere, and having a functional restore point once again... I decided to install JUST the Web drivers for my Fatalty andy bypass the CD altogether. I installed the web drivers dated Oct 9th, SBXF_PCDVT_LB_2_5_0002.exe and I got sound working. Great, no hiss, no static, nothing...just good sound. This installed the Creative Audio Console...which although lacked any fancy GUI, (it was a tabbed system window) allowed me to customize the various settings. (only thing missing as I could tell was the Equalizer found in the GUI Launcher) I then installed the Creative Console Launcher CSL_PCAPP_LB_2_40_09.exe (the one with the fancy GUI that makes it look like a mixing board, hi-tech stereo, etc). Once installed and restarted the system, the unbearable constant HISS I've read about came pouring through the speakers right before login...and continued nonstop. I have since rolled back to my system restore before the Console launcher install and all is fine. I'm sharing my observations, in hope that it might help others out with their hiss/static problems. G.

I do not have the Console Launcher installed and I have static. Glad to see that you found a fix to your issue though. Not to mention I run an Intel board and the X-Fi sits on its own IRQ. I have come down to a decision that it is either the driver, faulty hardware, or a memory addressing issue.

  • Creative Console Launcher XFi for Win7

Does anybody have a clue as to if/when creative labs will release Win7 compatible Creative Console Launcher Programs for the X-Fi Cards?
This thread is intended particularly to be responded by a CL forum admin!

I understand that you wanted an Admin response. KokChoy has responded so I wanted you to know that I am using the latest console launcher download for the card and it has worked in Windows 7 very very well. If you are wanting a "Certified" one, you are wasting your time as 2.62.00 works with no compatibility issues for me.
