L_TO_CONFIRM_SU For Nested HUs

Hi All,
Please can someone advice whether the FMod L_TO_CONFIRM_SU works for confirming Nested HUs, if yes then which all fields are to be filled for HU Info. I am currently getting Exception 31 - Handling Unit Data Missing.
If this FMod does not work for Nested HUs then please suggest one that would.
Thanks for your help.

  • WM with Nested HUs

    Hi All,
    I  am trying to configure WM in my company. This is the first time I will be doing it. Though I have found lot of docs for standard config but I am trying to configure WM for nested HUs.
    Can anybody please help with some document or links. my id is ankit.k.agarwal @gmail.com. Some good docs on WM will also be appreciated. Whatever I have found on WM have too much theory.

    Hi,
    Please refer below links. Hope this will help you.

  • Confirming transfer order for nested handling units (picking and shipping)

    Hi
    My shipping location is HU + WM, I understand we cannot "auto confirm" Transfer Orders during creation from an outbound delivery (LT03) in the case of nested HUs because the system wants to know which exact box HUs ( The TO only specifies the pallet HU...storage unit)
    I have an automatic Pick HU created during TO confirmation but the system still prompts for me to enter  box HUs that need to be shipped/repacked on LT12. This makes logical sense but is slowing down our shipping process. Since we do not put HU labels on our boxes, the picker has to go into HUMO, enter the pallet HU, retrieve the box HUs and finally enter some of those on the TO confirmation screen to match the open quantity. In reality we don't really care what HUs he picks as long as he picks from the right pallet.
    Is there any way to automate this? If the system can pick box HUs sequentially, randomly or create further pick HUs. Anything but doesnt ask the picker to put in the box HU numbers
    OR
    Is there a way to auto confirm TOs during creation
    OR
    Is there any way to putaway box level HUs into the warehouse at the end of the production line so that Storage Unit is the box HU number and not the pallet HU number, that way it wouldn't prompt me for box HUs during picking.
    I would really appreciate your help.

    This is the standard SAP for picking nested handling units.  You can do some more reading on this by accessing the SAP note 829266.
    We had a similar problem with nested handling units - what we ended up doing was writing a BDC program that would take the nested handling unit and pack it back onto that HU instead of the pick HU after TO confirmation was done in the delivery.
    In order to get your TO to automatically confirm, check the configuration for the storage type that its picking from - look to see if "Storage Type requires confirmation for removal/placement" is checked.
    You can als ocheck the movement type configuration for Propose Confirmation.

    Hi,
      For nested structure we cont do the File content conversion.
      so that we need to convert it a flat structure in the mapping level and then we can go for FCC.

  • Level rules for nested codeblocks

    I am trying to modify the level rules to apply indentation to codeblock elements, which I have allowed for nesting so we can create good code samples.
    I have my level rules set up like this, but everything is still flush with the left margin when I am authoring:
    Text format rules
    If level is: 1
    Basic properties
    Indents
    First indent: 0
    Else, if level is: 2
    Basic properties
    Indents
    Move first indent by: +0.5”
    Else, if level is: 3
    Basic properties
    Indents
    Move first indent by: +0.10”
    Else, if level is: 4
    Basic properties
    Indents
    Move first indent by: +0.15”
    Anyone who's done this more often than me have any ideas? I have tried with both a FirstIndent, FirstIndentChange, LeftIndent, and LeftIndent change and whenever I apply the element definitions to my topic it still does not work.

    Hmm .. well if you are using DITA, then tweaking the EDD (and DTD?) to accommodate nested codeblocks will "break" DITA if you plan to use other tools and make your files available to others. You could specialize [ph] or some other element to achieve the same thing "legally" .. but I'd reccomend against that.
    What tool are you using to produce your HTML that accepts this model? I suppose that RoboHelp wouldn't care, but if you're using the DITA-OT, it'll barf since this isn't valid DITA.
    Hmm .. I assume that you *are* authoring in XML, not in binary (structured) FM files, right? If you kept the files as binary, then you'd be able to get away with this without modifying the DTDs. (Authoring DITA in FM binary files is also not recommended, as you'll run into trouble down the road.)
    To add multiple spaces you need to disable the Smart Space feature .. Format > Document > Text Options :: Smart Spaces .. it's unfortunate that this is burried so deep. (DITA-FMx, the tool I produce for enhanced DITA authoring in FM, has an auto-swithcing feature to flip between Smart Space modes when you place the insertion oping in a codeblock or non-codeblock element.)
    Tabs don't work well in XML since most tools will collapse tabs into a space (in theory this shouldn't happen in a "preformatted" element like codeblock, but it does).
    I definitely recommend trying to use the standard method for authoring codeblocks, despite the fact that it may not seem like a good idea for your situation. With DITA, it's best to stick with the standard as long as you can.
    Cheers,

    Well, I've checked your code and I've seen where is the error.
    In Delface constructor (Delface.java, line 127), you've got this block of code :
    1. OkBtn = new JButton("OK");
    2. OkBtn.addActionListener(this);
    3. bagcon.gridx = 1;
    4. bagcon.gridy = 8;
    5. gb.setConstraints(OkBtn,bagcon);
    6. dcon.add(OkBtn);
    7. OkBtn.addActionListener(this);
    Have a deep look at lines 2 and 7 : you're registering twice an actionListener on this button. Then you're receiving twice the event and it shows two JOptionPanes. In fact, you've also the problem with the 'ok' option, but you don't see it, because the 'n' variable in your event handler is global to your class, then it's shared between the two calls to the event handlers.

  • Error while create trigger on for nested table

    I want to insert a record into a nested table.For this, I created a view for the table, which includes the nested table.It told me ORA-25015 cannot perform DML on this nested table view column.So I created a trigger for the nested table.However, it told me that ORA-25010 Invalid nested table column name in nested table clause.I think my nested table is valid, i don't konw why did it appear this kind of problem?

    Hi,TongucY
    Compared with the "Referencing Clause with Nested Tables" part of this reference -
    http://psoug.org/reference/instead_of_trigger.html, I found the answer of this
    quesion. That is "CREATE OR REPLACE TYPE " VARRAY_DEPT_SEQ" as[b] varray(930) of
    DEPT". It turns to be a varying array, not a nested table. It should be "CREATE OR
    REPLACE TYPE " VARRAY_DEPT_SEQ" as table of DEPT". That is OK. Thank you very
    much!
    While there is an another question, if I create a varying array like" CREATE OR
    REPLACE TYPE " VARRAY_DEPT_SEQ" as[b] varray(930) of DEPT " and I want to insert
    a record into the varying array, which the record has been existed.The method that
    create a view and a trigger seems not to be effective.
    For instance,
    There is a record in the table
    ID:1020
    CREATE_DATE:2005-10-20
    UPDATE_DATE:2007-2-11
    DETPS: ((10225,AMY))
    I want to ask this record to be
    ID:1020
    CREATE_DATE:2005-10-20
    UPDATE_DATE:2007-2-11
    DETPS: ((10225,AMY),(10558,TOM))
    How should I do?
    Could you please help me?
    Best regards.

  • Trigger how to get new and old value for nested table column?

    Hi,
    I have created a nested table based on the following details:
    CREATE TYPE typ_item AS OBJECT --create object
    (prodid NUMBER(5),
    price NUMBER(7,2) )
    CREATE TYPE typ_item_nst -- define nested table type
    AS TABLE OF typ_item
    CREATE TABLE pOrder ( -- create database table
    ordid NUMBER(5),
    supplier NUMBER(5),
    requester NUMBER(4),
    ordered DATE,
    items typ_item_nst)
    NESTED TABLE items STORE AS item_stor_tab
    INSERT INTO pOrder
    VALUES (800, 80, 8000, sysdate,
    typ_item_nst (typ_item (88, 888)));
    Now I would like to create a trigger on table pOrder for after insert or update or delete
    and I would like to track the new and old value for the columns inside nested table.
    Can anybody direct me how to do it?
    I would like to know the sytax for it like:
    declare
    x number;
    begin
    x := :new.nestedtablecolumn;--how to get the new and old value from nested table columns
    end;
    Hope my question is clear.
    Thanks,
    Lavan

    Hi,
    Try like this:
    CREATE OR REPLACE TRIGGER PORDER_I
    BEFORE INSERT
    ON PORDER
    REFERENCING OLD AS old NEW AS new
    FOR EACH ROW
    DECLARE
      items_new typ_item_nst;
      ordid_NEW NUMBER;
    BEGIN
    FOR i IN :new.items.FIRST .. :new.items.LAST LOOP -- For first to last element
      DBMS_OUTPUT.PUT_LINE(':new.items(' || I || ').prodid: ' || :new.items(I).prodid );
      DBMS_OUTPUT.PUT_LINE(':new.items(' || I || ').price:  ' || :new.items(I).price );
    END LOOP;
    END;Regards,

  • How to apply multiple styles for nested tags in XML?

    Say you import this XML into InDesign:
    <Root>
      <strong>
        <em>Bolded and Italicized</em>
      </strong>
    </Root>
    And you have two character styles, bold and italics, to map to strong and em tags respectively.
    You will see that the text appears italicized not bolded and italicized as expected. Generally, only the innermost tag will get the style and will overwrite its parent styles.
    Notice the XML is generated dynamically and tags order is not enforced. Also, there's an additional underline tag that can be nested with these two.
    So far I have tried to use GREP styles (with paragraph styles), but these do not have effect in the XML tags.
    Other possible options not tried yet:
    Create new tags for every formatting combination. Not what I really want because I could en up with a lot of tags each one with a corresponding styles.
    Create InDesign XML rules to apply character styles automatically based on the tags
    Use character styles in the XML with the aid namespace referencing InDesign styles. Will this really work?
    What do you suggest to go for? See any other option?
    Thank you in advance.
    Juan

    I'd say that you should create tags not for appearances, but for semantic content. Specifying formatting styles in your XML betrays your lack of familiarity with the format, because the last thing you'd want to do would be to use HTML markup in the middle of your XML. If you have content that's supposed to be both bolface and oblique - say, a warning - then it's marked up as
    <warning>Never refer directly to formatting in your XML markup, only to content types!</warning>
    If I had a document that was written in the style you suggest - one with lots of overlapping local formatting - I'd look at developing a better style guide that told the writers that doing so would be bad form. Because, you know, many of the writers I deal with are addicted to forms of emphasis that do nothing useful whatsover for their readership - they only serve to overemphasize the authorial voice of the writers.
    Maybe you could tell us why you need these overlapping forms of styling, and we could suggest other InDesign formatting tools (like line styles or nested styles) that would help you get the appearance you want without crowding styling markup into your XML - where, strictly speaking, it doesn't really belong.

  • Incorrect ClassDoc for nested classes

    Hello,
    I think there is a bug in Javadoc concerning nested classes ClassDoc records extracted through the doclet API.
    In particular, ClassDoc records are correct if the container class is directly specified on the command line as a .java file or part of a package (i.e. the source is available), but they are (at times) wrong if the records are built from .jar (.class) files through the classpath.
    Example with "java.io.ObjectOutputStream" from JDK 1.3.1_01:
    If the ClassDoc for this class comes from RootDoc.specifiedClasses(), its nested classes are correctly listed as:
    private static final class java.io.ObjectOutputStream.HandleTable
    public abstract static class java.io.ObjectOutputStream.PutField
    static final class java.io.ObjectOutputStream.PutFieldImpl
    private static final class java.io.ObjectOutputStream.ReplaceTable
    private static final class java.io.ObjectOutputStream.Stack
    but if the ClassDoc of the container class is extracted from a method parameter, like in org.apache.xerces.dom.ParentNode.writeObject(ObjectOutputStream out), this is the result:
    final synchronized class java.io.ObjectOutputStream$HandleTable
    public abstract static class java.io.ObjectOutputStream.PutField
    static final class java.io.ObjectOutputStream.PutFieldImpl
    final synchronized class java.io.ObjectOutputStream$ReplaceTable
    final synchronized class java.io.ObjectOutputStream$Stack
    According to my tests, at least ClassDoc.modifiers(), ClassDoc.qualifiedName() and ClassDoc.containingClass() return incorrect results for HandleTable, ReplaceTable and Stack.
    This behaviour seems common to both Javadoc 1.3.1_01 and 1.4beta3. I admit I didn't test 1.4 final, but I searched the Javadoc site, the forum and the bug database without finding anything similar.
    Thanks in advance for any help.

  • PayloadZipBean for nested zip files

    Hi,
    My scenario is file (zip) to file (unzip).
    Zip file contains one parent folder, parent folder has 6 nested folders and each folder contains 12 files. (all the 12 files are .jpg and .tif files). Few folders contains the same file as well, like A00001.tif in two folders.
    Using PayloadZipBean, I have extracted all the files in zip files, using PayloadSwapBean, I can able to swap the attachments and place it target folders. Using this method, I can be able to swap only one attachment. Also I should know the attachment name, to use it with PayloadSwapBean(Paramenters: swapKeyName and swapKeyValue)
    Is there any other method, that I can be able to extract all files in zipped folder and place it in the target folders in a single shot.
    I am planning to go for Custom Adapter Module development, but not sure how far this can be feasible. Any other idea is much appreciated.
    Thanks & regards
    UP

    Hi,
    >>>>Is there any other method, that I can be able to extract all files in zipped folder and place it in the target folders in a single shot.
    yes - unzip in OS command of the file adapter - this way you can unzip all files and push them via PI without the need for an adapter module,

  • Soa database column (WORK_ITEM) too small for nested activities ?

    Hello all,
    we've got a big problem on bpm that it seems to imply that activity names should not be too long or activities should not be nested.
    We have a BPM Process (named "Process") with parallel cycle that has an activity that calls a reusable workflow "RwSubprocess" with other activities.
    The first activity of reusable workflow RwSubprocess is a call activity to a reusable workflow that executes a send task and a receive task (CPT:chRisp) to a ws exposed by a bpel.
    The flows executes all the calls regularly, but when it arrives at the call CPT:chRisp it throws the following error.
    It seems that the bpm engine creates a custom_id too big for the column in the db...
    Is there a solution for this? We choosed to nest activities since the entire workflow is quite big and we used nesting to try to maintain it readable.

    We have faced similar challenges and its know issue with BPM (Value too Large for Column "SCHEMA_SOAINFRA"."TABLE_NAME"."COLUMN_NAME" (actual:XXX,maximum:YYY) (Doc ID 1499966.1)).
    Solution suggested from Oracle was  to alter the columns to increase the length. We ended up like this.
    ALTER TABLE EPRSBPM_SOAINFRA.WORK_ITEM modify CUSTOM_ID varchar2(1024);
    ALTER TABLE EPRSBPM_SOAINFRA.WORK_ITEM modify NODE_ID varchar2(1024);
    ALTER TABLE EPRSBPM_SOAINFRA.WORK_ITEM modify SCOPE_ID varchar2(1024);

  • Pagedef Editor bug - for nested appmodule

    Creating a nested iterator for a nested appmodule produces:
    <iterator Binds="Root.SAppModule.SView"
    DataControl="ControlAppModuleDataControl" RangeSize="-1"
    id="SVewIterator1"/>
    If a table binding is then created it shows the control binding as :
    ControlAppModuleDataControl.Root.SAppModule.SView
    And none of the attributes of the view are shown. Editing the page def from the page def editor changes the iterator binding to :
    <iterator Binds="ControlAppModuleDataControl"
    DataControl="ControlAppModuleDataControl" RangeSize="-1"
    id="SVewIterator1"/>
    Using the names below can someone respond with the correct settings for 11g so we can manually edit pagedef files with the correct names and should the word "Root" be included as this word was used in the 10.1.3.3 version??
    root datacontrol = ControlAppModuleDataControl;
    nested AppModule = SAppModule;
    view name for table = SView;
    thanks in advance

    Are you getting this iterator created for you in a new page while dropping the view object from the nested AM instance in the root datacontrol AM from the data control palette?
    Or are you creating iterator bindings using the structure window?
    Please see section "10.3.7 How Nested Application Modules Appear in the Data Control Palette" of the ADF Developer's Guide for Forms/4GL Developers on the ADF Learning Center at http://www.oracle.com/technology/products/adf/learnadf.html for more information on this.
