L50D-BST2NX2 all network adapters are code 10

Hi,
My L50D-BST2NX2 is no longer able to connect to any network. Wired or wireless. All 3 network adapters (Broadcom 802.11n network adapter, Intell Access TAP driver, and Realteck PCIe FE family controller) are showing code 10 ( unable to start) in the device manager. Uninstalling the drivers and restarting yeilds the same results. Windows 8 finds the drivers but is unable to complete the installation since the device wont start.
Where do I go from here?

Ok, so a quick update. I re did the uninstall driver and checked the delete driver files box and restarted the laptop and it rebooted and now the wifi and lan network adapters are working.

I read many technet articles and other blogs but that didn't solve this issue. I tried things like
    A) Run as administrator
    B) nmconfig /install in cmd
So could you please help me how I can fix this issue?

Seems our driver didn't get installed.  What you see when you type "sc query nm3" from a command prompt?

  • After Windows 10 Pro N succesfull update all Network Adapters not working and not showing up

Hi all, After succesfully installing the new Windows 10 Pro N onto my Windows 8.1 Pro N operating system and restarting the system, I realized that all drivers are migrated succesfully, withouht any incompatibility issue, but none of the network adapters were working, so no WiFi, no LAN connection was ready to be used, checking the list of available network adapters showed an empty list. I am using a ThinkPad T520 laptop. I have tried to update all drivers from a USB, had several restarts, but no result. Any ideas I could use to get Windows 10 up-n-running with network connections? Thank you in advance, Regards, Gyula

  • Which all protocol adapters are supported by jrockit?

In JMX architecture, the distribution level provide remote access to the agent level via a number of protocol adaptors/connectors.
    E.g. RMI adaptor, CORBA adaptor
These adaptors are required for manager level applications to access agent level registered mbeans, for administration purposes.
I want to know which all protocol/adopters are supported by JRockit (apart from RMI and CORBA)?

We support the same protocol adaptors/connectors as Sun's JDK does.

  • Looking for a way to determine wich Network adapters are truly Wired ethernet.

I'm Working on a little app that is going to validate that the machine is connected to a wired network before we allow it to start a re-installation of the operating system. Our wireless net works great for installed systems (they do have a machine certificate)
but we cannot install on it (since the machine must be domain joined to get that cert)
So far I have not found any method that truly tells if the card is a wired network adapter.
Win32_NetworkAdapter:s AdapterTypeID does not work since many wireless adapters report type=0 wich should be wired adapters.
MSNdis_PhysicalMediumType does not work. It returns undefined for a number of adapters
Many posts on the net talks about detecting the connection state wich doesn't work either since it will return the same value for a connected wired adapter and a connected wireless adapter
Other posts suggests using powershell and looking at tha dapter name. That doesn't work if you
got to support a number of languages and what happends if a user renames the interface?
The only way I can make it sort of work is to pipe the output from netsh LAN show interfaces and then do queries on those adapters but I would prefer a soloution in Code.
Since Netsh can do it, there must be a way to do this

The reason for the C code not running under WinPE was user error ........
    Forgot to link it static.
I have been digging around some more and so far the only API that will give us the correct and complete picture seems to be GetIfEntry2, however I can't find dotnet code for it.
It seems like most other methods uses the older GetIfEntry under the hood and that will not give us the true data since many types will report as NDisPhysicalMediumType 0.
However a combination of Win32_network adapter and MSNdis_PhysicalMediumType actually seems to work.
Win32_network filtered on AdapterType='Ethernet 802.3' gives us everything that claims to be an ethernetadapter. That list will however include wireless, bluetooth and some virtual adapters.
MSNdis_PhysicalMediumType filtered on NDisPhysicalMediumType 0 does not show Wireless or Bluetooth but will instead show isatap interfaces and so on.
The Key was to "join" these two on win32_networkadapter.Name to MSNdis_PhysicalMediumType.Instancename giving us the possibility to filter out the unwanted adapters using both methods.
I have made a demoscript that became embarrassing short

    Set colItems_Win32_NetworkAdapter = GetObject("winmgmts:\\.\root\cimv2").ExecQuery("Select * from Win32_NetworkAdapter where AdapterType='Ethernet 802.3'",,48)

  • When downloading podcasts all network connections are used

    Hi,
I have a problem when running iTunes 10.4 under OS X 10.6.8. If iTunes is downloading Podcasts, then all of the systems connections are used. I cannot browse using Safari to many but not all sites. I can resolve the address of the web page, but I cannot get there and get any data. If I quit iTunes all of the Safari pages load.
    Anyone else see this?
OS X and iTunes are both patched to the latest.

Found an answer to my own question.
When a podcast is downloading, it makes as many connections to the Akamia network as Akamai allows to get the download faster. This has the problem of making pages in Safari that are hosted on Akamai data services to not load becasue you are already using all available traffic for the podcast. Either stop the podcast or go to pages that do not host on Akamai until the pdcast has completed.
You would think there was a way to throttle that.

  • Not all network computers are showing up

Hi, I am on a network at work and I can see some of the network computers, but not all. I checked iTunes on another person I work with's pc and they could see more users than I could. I looked at the network diagnosis and they matched other than the IP address of course. Any ideas on what the issue could be?

There is a daily limit imposed by iTunes on how many shared libraries you can access (5). If you've filled the quota, and users to whose libraries you've connected have logged off or quit iTunes sharing, then you see less than the maximum shared libraries until the next day.

  • Problem Unlocking to All Networks using MEP2 Code

    Hi Allm
I am on Orange UK, but now have a new phone so would like to unlock the phone.
The handset I want to unlock is BB 8900.
I have received my MEP2 CODE..
and enter this in OPTIONS > ADVANCED > SIM CARD > Entered MEPD > Entered (while holding ALT) MEP2 > and then I Entered my MEP Code when promted, it then says "CODE ACCEPTED" and the handset freezes...
I restart and it still advises me I need to enter an MEP code to use this sim!
I have upgraded my O.S, I am currently using OS 5 but I have tested on 4.6 right through to the latest versions of OS 5.
I am advised by various unlocking companies that this is a known hardware fault, if this is the case will RIM take it back and exchange it?  I have had the phone for around 2 months, as it was a replacement for a damaged Handset.
    any help will be appreciated.

  • Lost all my network adapters - network icon is X'ed out but still online

Win7 x64 - little backstory to explain how i got here...
This was a vista machine that i upgraded to win7. Everything worked after the upgrade except for hamachi (version 1). I did a reinstall of that and it fixed it, except i had 2 hamachi network interfaces listed in device manager, one of which was showing up as broken (yellow exclamation mark). Since everything was working i left it alone.
Fast forward to today - i tried to upgrade hamachi to hamachi 2. Seemed to work ok but i couldn't connect to any peers. Looking into it it said the hamachi adapter was faulty and looking at my network connections there was no hamachi adapter listed.
I opened device manager and there was just one hamachi nic listed and it was the broken one. I selected uninstall - checked the box to remove the driver and it uninstalled.
I then manually installed another instance of the hamachi network adapter. Hamachi still cant connect to peers - same error msg about the network adapter.
Only now, ALL of my network adapters are missing in the network connections folder. And the network status icon in the status tray is showing a red X as though it's not connected, even though this PC is online (i'm connecting to it through RDP).
I've already tried rebooting - no effect. So any ideas where all my network connections/adapters went and how to get this all sorted?
One more piece of info - if i right click on the network icon in the status tray and select troubleshoot, having another problem, specific adapter - on that screen it then lists 3 network adapters. Tried letting it diagnose all of them but no effect.
And if i open the network connections folder and go to help, advanced options, i get an 'unexpected error'

    Hi,
This issue can occur by incompatible NIC driver or corrupted files. I suggest you try the following steps.
    1. Uninstall the NIC driver and reinstall the driver for Windows Vista or Windows 7 in Compatibility Mode.
    2. Restart the computer in Safe Mode with Networking and check the result.
If there is any error message, please capture and upload it for research.
    Thanks,

  • Can't open TCP connection when two network adapter are enabled

    Hi all,
I've an applicaiton that connect using "TCP Open Connection". The applicaiton is running on a computer have two network adapters configured to be on two different network.
When I start the application, if both network adapters are enabled, connection is not created (timeout). When I disable the network adapter which is not configured for the network I need, connection is succesfull.
    - How can I choose which adapter to use to open the connection, as LabView seems enable to select the good one.
    - Or I can I disable a network adapter (just for the connection time)
I'm using LabView 8.5 Full on Windows XP.
    Thanks for your help

This is generally a routing issue. The OS will route connections to your primary network if it is not a direct route. For example, one network is 10.3.4.x (primary network) and the other is 192.168.1.x.with a subnet of 255.255.255.0. Now, let's say you want to reach a device with an 192.168.2.x address. The OS will try to route this through the primary network but is has no route to reach the 192.168.2.x subnet. Therefore your connection fails. You can add a permanent route to your computer to force specific address ranges to specific NICs. Use the ROUTE ADD command which is part of the OS. If you are trying to reach the computer using a name instead of the IP address the issue is basically the same but a but more challenging to resolve. The OS will do th elookup on your defined DNS servers. They generally do not have knowledge of local private networks and therefore can't resolve the name. In this case you need to create a more involved network infrastructure to update the name server. Probably not something that is feasible to do.

  • Help: repeated calls from area code 266

I am getting repeated calls at all hours from area code 266 and different numbers. When i answer i get mostly silence or some voice i can not understand. When I call back I am told the number does not exist. When I use google to trace the number (e.g.266 950 6008 or 266-949-1883 I am told there is not such number.
What can I do to stop this?
Verizon has told me that I may have to get a new number. Is there anything else I can try before this?
    Michjel

You can block up to 5 numbers for free for 90 days via your on-line MyVerizon account.  You can block more if you pay $4.99 per month for the Usage Controls.  There's other threads on this forum that also talk about apps and other avenues (like You Mail) that you can use.
I had several of those calls and blocked them.  After a week or two the caller would change their number (at least that's what I'm thinking they were doing), so I'd go in and block them again.  After doing this a few times, the calls stopped.  I think they were robo calls; even though you can be on all the do-not-call lists, you can still get those calls.
I always ignore calls if I don't know who it is and let them go to voice mail.  If your phone allows you to send contacts to voice mail, you could put the numbers in your phone and send them straight to voice mail.
I've had my number too long; I'll be danged if some marketer or prankster is gonna force me to change my number; I'd view that as a last resort, but that's just my opinion.

  • Network Adapters - This device cannot start (Code 10)

    Hello,
I have a W510. It has worked OK for about 4 months. Started getting VERY SLOW - especially on start up.
I ran the Uniblue Powersuite to try to speed things up. Didn't seem to help.
I believe I have all the latest updates for both Lenovo and Windows 7 x64 Professional.
My 2 USB ports located on the side of the laptop are suddenly not working. The device manager shows the following devices all with "This device cannot start (Code 10):
    - Renesas Electronics USB 3.0 Root Hub
    - Microsoft ISATAP Adapter
    - Microsoft Teredo Tunneling Adapter
    - Microsoft 6to4 Adapter
It would not allow me to reinstall so I just deleted all 4 of these.
When I did the reboot, they are all still missing, but the USB ports are now working (there is now a NEC Electronics USB Root Hub). I guess doing the job?
But, I'm concerned about the other network adapters being missing.
Additionally, today I plugged in my Apple iPod and now have the same (Code 10) on this device.
Please help me. It looks like all the Microsoft and Apple drivers are using the same date and version file - it this strange?
They all show 6/21/2006 version 6.1.7600.16385 - so what's up with this?
    Thank you so much!

    hey DTTODGG,
since you have uninstalled the drivers under device manager, were you able to use the "update drivers" ?
Anyway, is your system running on Win7 .. if it is, I believe that Win7 should have installed some generic drivers for you.
Also could you check under the properties of your Network Adapter, is the device enabled ? If it isn't, enable it.

  • Removing Logical Networks and Subnets from Hyper-V Host Network Adapters that are greyed out

    Hello All
I am new to SCVMM 2012 R2 and I have create a Hyper-V Cluster and now creating Logical Networks and Port Profiles and Logical Switches. I have figured out how to create all of them properly now, but I have made some mistakes in the past. I have a Logical
Switch created and assigned to network adapters on the hosts. Now I am trying to add the other switches to other adapters, but I have associations on network adapters to Logical Switches and Subnets that are not correct and need to be removed so I can add
the correct ones, but in the console the network adapters that I need to work with the information is grayed out and I can't change the information.
I am not an expert at Powershell. Below you can see a Logical Network and Sunets associated
to a Network adapter. Can someone help figure out how to remove the information so I can assign the correct Logical Network?
I woul so much appreciate this. I know there is a way to do this in
PowerShell but I don't know Powershell that much. I
    am savoing all the

This shows that an Uplink profile associated with this host, links to these logical networks. In order to remove this successfully, you must remove the logical switch and uplink deployed to the hosts.
