L675D-S7016 (PSK3JU) gets FreeDOS errors using CD method to install BIOS version 1.50

I downloaded sk3jv150.exe from Toshiba's support site and followed the instructions to create a bootable CD to flash the BIOS.  In fact, I have created the boot CD several times using different programs on this laptop and even on two other PCs but have had no success.
Whenever I boot from the CD, FreeDOS starts and the following error messages appear:
-InitDiskWARNING: using suspect partition Pri:1 FS 01 with calculated values 1-0-1 instead of 0-1-1
WARNING: using suspect partition Pri:1 FS 01: with calculated values 255-0-63 instead of 1-0-63
C:HD1, Pri[1],CHS= 1-0-1, start= 0MB size=7M
This laptop came with Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit and I purchased it new in the Fall of 2010.
Any ideas?

After you receive the error you should be at a C: prompt.  Enter BIOS.BAT and hit enter.  This should lauch the BIOS flash application.

    That one is often a compatibility mode problem. Try the following document, only be sure that none of the boxes in the compatibility mode tab are checked (not just the compatibility mode box itself):

    Back up all data before proceeding.
    Launch the Keychain Access application in any of the following ways:

    ☞ In the Finder, select Go ▹ Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.
    ☞ Open LaunchPad and start typing the name.
    Use the search box in the toolbar of the Keychain Access window to search for an item named "Safari Extensions List". If found, delete it. Quit Keychain Access.
    Quit and relaunch Safari.

    Thanks for the flag J.K. - they contaced me and solved my problem.  On this account (which I created just to ask this question), I log in with my email rather than my user name (mtalldud). On the account that I was having trouble with, they told me to use my user ID instead of my email to log in and it worked. This is a bit confusing and seems a bit inconsistent but at least I don't need this temporary account any more to get into this community and find answers!

    I am running CS5 on Windows 8.1.  When I try to update from CS5 menu, it appears updates are downloading, but then I get an error that they did not install (no error number), and contact customer support.  When I click on that I get a discussion about incorret serial number.  I deactivated, then reactivated, get same results.

    Yay!   Finally got it to work.
    Deactivated CS5 and uninstalled.  Then reinstalled.  Downloaded and installed AAM (took several tries before finally got it to work properly).  Then download the updates individually and finally got to install using AAM.

    Correct.
    System requirements for XCode is 10.8.4 and above. Since you have 10.7.5 it can't be installed.

    Could be many things, we should start with this...
    "Try Disk Utility

    Then try a Safe Boot, (holding Shift key down at bootup), run Disk Utility in Applications>Utilities, then highlight your drive, click on Repair Permissions, reboot when it completes.
    (Safe boot may stay on the gray radian for a long time, let it go, it's trying to repair the Hard Drive.)

    When requesting help, you should always include the make/model of the computer and/or monitor. This information is necessary for us to review the specifications of them.
    I believe that this is a problem for your ISP.  Their Customer Service should be able to help you.  There may be some settings that can be changed to solve the problem.  They would know what the settings should be.  I don't believe that it is a hardware problem.
