Label print after TO confirmation

Hi ,
I have specific requirment and wonder if there is a standard way to trigger labels after TO is confirmed? Requirement is that we validate SH to from a custom table on staging. If SH matches then we print lable otherwise not.

I think Yazmin is referring to partner function "SH" ship-to party Manish. If that's the case I believe its possible to print based on a select ship to customer numbers (NACE entries) but it really depends on what output type and other details,

Where is this output coming from after TO confirmation? (TO, HU, Delivery, Shipment)?
Is this a custom output type if not what output is it?
Is the requirement to print or not based on an existing custom table or are you just mentioning custom table as a possible way to access a list of SH partners that you want to print the output for?
Please provide as many details as possible to get the best answer to your query.

  • Label printing on TO Confirmation

    I am ABAPer without any config support and looking for a few pointers. I have developed a standalone program to print some labels based on a confirmed Transfer Order and it is working fine.
    I have now moved the code into a User Exit ZXLTOU02 called when a TO is confirmed using transaction VL06C. The values in my print program basically disappear into thin air as they pass into the SAPscript. I have debugged the Update Task and the SAPscript to confirm this. The OPEN_FORM, WRITE_FORM, CLOSE_FORM all still work and return sy-subrc equals 0 but the values aren't printed on the labels.
    I think I should probably be using standard Output Control and I have been experimenting with OMLV but so far without success. Is there any useful doco on using OMLV, no joy on the wider internet ? Or can anybody tell me how I should set things up to print on TO Confirmation ?
    Any help much appreciated.

    You know, in a user exit or a BADi you can access any variable of the program you want.
    Just find what which program calls the Exit User, put a break-point in it, and find the variable you need to access.
    Then add this kind code in your Exit :
    DATA: l_var TYPE ....

    we need to automatically print out an confirmation slip or some kind of document that shows the amount of confirmed materials every time we have confirmed operation 0150 (Co11n) which is always our last production order operation.

    Hi,
    Inorder to get the print of any shop floor control papers you to configure the same in SPRO : Tcode : OPK8 against the user and Plant.
    If you want to have your specific layout then you need to create a FORM and Assign the same here agianst the Ref Ord , Plant, List, Output devics, SAP Script Form.
    You can even give the printer Specification here, which can be assigned to Plant., MRP COntroller and List combination
    If you want to restrict at the transaction level it is possible to do here.

    I used to be able to print multiple copies of the same picture on one page using iphoto. There was a customise button when you went through to print and it was there somewhere. I can't see it anymore - maybe since an upgrade.
    It's gone. But as a work-around, duplicate your photo (⌘D) to create as many versions as you want copies and select all at once. Then use the "Custom" print layout and set the photo size you want.
    After printing, trash the added versions.

  • Safari 5.1.2 not working with USPS Click-N-Ship Label Printing

    I use the USPS Click-N-Ship for printing postage labels. Prior to this update the behavior was: I'd enter the label information, check out and click the print button. The labels would be generated and downloaded to my downloads folder and Preview would automatically open the file with the labels. A quick CMD-P and I was all done.
    Since the update to 5.1.2 when I tell the post office website to print (ie generate) the label, no label is downloaded, thus nothing can be printed. The post office website behaves normally and acts as though the label was generated and handed off to the OS.
    My guess here is that the new PDF handeling is kicking in but because the PDF that's generated has a wacky (Adobe Reader?) extention Safari doesn't know what to do with it. Here's the file name that the USPS generates:
    com.usps.cns.web.pdf.LabelGenerationServlet
    My workaround today was to use firefox, which will download the above file, then I chage the extention to .pdf, then I can open it in Preview and print. A lot more steps and a lot more hassle. Any ideas on how I can go back to the prior behavior or should I just punt and install Adobe Reader, which is what the post office website is expecting, but I've never needed up until now?

    I usually print my labels effortlessly, directly from PayPal after someone pays via PayPal.  Yesterday I needed to print after being paid by check so I went directly to the USPS Click/Ship site.  So  after my label didn't print but USPS charged my account anyway, I called customer service at USPS.  After one hour on hold I was given another number for tech support.  Another hour later, someone finally answered and told me that Safari just changed and is no longer compatible with their system.  Grr.
    I asked her why USPS doesn't announce that clearly up front  on their site so Mac users won't have to go through all this wasted time and frustration and she said there aren't that many Mac users compared to PC!  Are they serious?  Really?
    Anyway, I suggested the makers of the printing programs make the effort to accommodate us "few" Mac users and she said I have to switch to Mozilla Firefox in order to print my labels.  Oh, also I have to wait two weeks for a refund. 
    I'm no computer whiz but how difficult could it be to allow the applet access to print the label which is generated and showing right there ON THE SCREEN?
    Perhaps if enough of us complain, they will consider us Mac users worthy of equal service.

    I built a label that prints off beautifully on my local machine with Crystal XI installed. However, when I post the label to the reports server, and a user tries to print it off, it prints off two blank labels behind each good label. I have racked my brain on this for days. The printer settings are identical to my local machine. Any idea what might be causing this?

    Symptom
    A label report was viewed over the web using the Web Component Server, and printed on a label maker printer DYMO 330. The labels were being resized to 8 1/2 x 11 instead of printing the size of the label. Even after selecting the correct size, the labels print one per page, followed by 3 blank labels.
    When printing was done through a distributed report or the report designer, the labels printed to the correct size and only printed one label with no blank labels.
    What is causing the label report to print incorrectly when printed from the web viewer?
    Resolution
    Steps to Resolve
    1. Open the report in the Crystal Reports 8 designer on the web server.
    2. Click on 'File' then click 'Printer Setup'. If a printer is already selected then set it to 'No Printer', click 'OK', then save the report.
    3. Click on 'File' then click 'Printer Setup' again. Select the default printer and clear the 'Default Properties' checkbox.
    4. Click 'OK' and save the report.
    5. Click on Start > Settings > Control Panel > Services and double click 'Seagate Page Server' service. Set this service to run under an 'Administrator' account.
    6. Stop and restart the service, and close down all browsers.
    The label reports now will print successfully over the web.
    Background
    Incorrect printing from a web viewer can have several causes, including:
    · The report is designed with a designated printer, but the encapsulated page format (EPF) files are being created in 'No Printer' mode.
    · The server does not have access to the printer.
    · A valid printer is not saved with the report on the server.
    · The printer driver is not installed on the server.

  • Help with Zebra Label Printer and Multi Order Shipping Tool- Partial Label Printing

    I have a zebra gx420d which is compatible the zebra 2844 (its the new model) and I am having a hard time printing labels with the multi order shipping tool. I have the correct driver, the printer test page works fine, and everything is configured for a 4x6 label.
    I have set the selling preferences in paypal to match the zebra 2844 printer and within the mult order tool, I have edited the settings to also match zebra 2844.
    My problem is that regardless of what or how I do it, my printer will only print a 1/4 of the label. It is not shrinking the label, it is starting to print at the correct size but stops 1/4 of the way through. Almost like it thinks my label size is too small but as i mentioned, I confirmed 4x6 on the label settings at both printer properties and printer preferences. I spent and hour on tech support with zebra and they confirmed the printer is working as it is supposed to. I also know this because my Amazon labels print correctly as well. Its only paypal and ebay labels that are not working. Very frustrating.  Can anyone help?

    did you upload the desgin in a standard text with option ITF? This you can copy then to the layoutset. At least this is the way of working with BARONE.

  • Cannot Print to CUPS Printer, UPS Label Printer

    After upgrading to Mavericks, I can no longer print to my UPS Label Printer which utilizes the CUPS drivers. I have tried deleting the printer and reinstalling it. No luck. All other printers are working fine. Any ideas?

    This is all about the driver!
    Canon doesn't provide drivers that will work for a Windows-shared printer. You have to use a CUPS driver for that.
    Your model isn't directly supported by Gutenprint (CUPS drivers included by Apple in OS X), but the newer Gutenprint has iP4500 and several models "close" to yours:

  • Custom Label Printing - Print position creeps up and across labels

    I am using VS 2010 and have updated to SP4 for Crystal Reports
    I used the custom size option to make a label report. The built in options for label sheets do not match the labels that I have
    I made a label report for 3 columns and 8 rows using the label size, margin widths top and bottom, left and right, with the 2 widths between the columns. But this does not print correctly on the labels. The printing on the label rows creep up so by the time you reach the 8th row the label is partly on the 7th Row. The left hand column prints correctly. the middle column prints closer to the left edge of the label than in the first column and the third column is printing on the gap between the 2nd and 3rd column.
    I tried making a new report and set the dimensions to the maximum sizes that would allow 24 labels (3 columns and 8 rows) but the same problem occurs as when having set the correct sizes
    I am not sure if there is a method to edit the label sizes, and margin widths as happens when creating a new report or if the only option is to create a new report.
    Any assistance or information on how to make the labels print with the correct row and column spacing would be appreciated.
    My Labels are 67mm x 36mm. there is no space betwwen the rows, the margin at the top and bottom of the sheet are the same, and the left and right margins are the same. The space between the columns is 2mm

    There is no Avery template in the list that has 24 labels, which is why I was using the Custom Label
    I have tried many variations trying different widths and gaps between the labels, but in all cases by the time the 8th row is printeed the printing has crept up and is now overlapping onto the bottom of the 7th row label. The third column is printing on the gutter between the 2nd and 3rd column.
    When creating a Custom label it would appear that the Wizard works on Letter size Paper regardless of the paper size that the printer is set to. All my printers are set to A4 size paper.
    Letter Paper is 215.9mm x 279.4mm compared to 210mm x 297mm for A4. While the width is not a problem the length is less, and that may well be what is causing the problem when the Wizard creates the labels, despite changing the Paper size to A4. But the paper size can only be changed and set to A4 after the wizard has been given the label size and spacing for margins and gutters.
    In my view the Wizard should ask for the paper size and then ask for the label size settings and layout

    I dont think there isany T-code for mass printing multiple O/p types.
    Rather you can run RSNAST00 in SE38. Give the BA00 in Message type, sales order num in Obj Key. Give the default printer to which you want to print the docs.
    Rather, you can ask your ABAPer to develop a custom transaction calling the RSNAST00 when executed. You can also define the selection inpits like sals orders, message type, Sales org, printer, etc.
    Once the user clicks on execute, system will call RSNAST00 in the background.
    1 question: Whay do you want to mas print the BA00? It wil trigger immediately after saving the sales order provided condition records are maintained right?

    print a label with barcode for each serial number generated for production order when printing shop floor papers.
    As for the standard set up, the following forms are assigned for
    production order object, where none of them seems to be a label type.

    Some of the print programs contain the ser.number information though
    none of them is designed for label printing. Does anyone know
    further information how is the label printing intended to work for

    Hi,
    The process of scanning barcodes and label printing :
    First u have to define the output type which has tobe attached with or linked to a "form" or "Smart Form" which displays a label layout.Through ABAP coding u have to link the object (any of the mentioned by u) with the "form or smart form".
    So as u scan the barcode with serial number the label gets printed at the required stage of production order processing.
    This includes the pure Technical stuff of coding.

    This is on GR Label Print at IM Level.
    We have a requirment that for Cost center / Asset the GR Label should not be printed but the Sales Order specific Purchase to be printed after doing MIGO (Movement type 101)
    Is there any way we can control at configuration Level rather than the Smartform Level?
    Tried to use OMJ4 but could note restrict specific to Cost center K or Asset A

    As i know there is no standard availability for this.Develop a custom for that .Ask you technical team to develop a transaction for  that with required selection criteria.This will be easy to do.Check this and post if need help.

    If you cannot update your printer driver to Mavericks:
    Revert your Mac back to the System it was using prior to the Mavericks upgrade (presumably Snow Leopard).
    Then partition your hard drive or add an external hard drive and install Mavericks there!
    DO NOT install Mavericks over Snow Leopard, as it will destroy the Snow Leopard environment.
    Use "dual-booting" (System Preferences:Startup Disk) to boot into either Snow Leopard or Mavericks as needed.  Print in Snow Leopard.
