Labels in Browser

Hi to all!
I recently upgraded from Aperture 2 to 3, and everything went smooth so far.
At the moment I only have a minor question: I'm trying to figure out how I can set that the labeling in the browser in the way that I see only the file name and the badges.
What annoys me is to see now under each preview "Version Name:...." Guess it is called the 'Metadata Label', which I can uncheck in Edit Metadata for the Viewer only.
Because there is written always in front of the file name the words "Version Name:.." I"m unable to read the file name.
How can I set it that I can read only like: DSC_5454-Version 2 ??

I am having somewhat of the same issue. In Iphoto when I had main viewing window open and full of photos I could see the name of the image. I want to do that in Aperture. I have been reading the discussion boards, clicking around menus within aperture and reading the manual for the last two hours. I would really appreciate some help which I suspect should be an easy thing todo.

  • FileUpload UI element -"browse"label is not coming in Hungrian for Hungrian

    Folks,
    We are using FileUpload ui element in our application, our application supports English , Hugrian languages, Problem is here , label on browse button coming in English for hungrian users.
    I believe  no need to add any translation to browse label in .xlf file,
    can any one tell me how to add Hungrian translation to Browse label, how to check standard translations of file upload ui element?
    Thanks & Regards,
    Veera.

    Hi Anup,
    portal User language is already hungray and rest of the labels in page are coming in hungrian as we maintained in -hu.xlf file.but for FileUpload ui element there is no option to map label of  "browse"  button with a message pool attribute.
    Thanks & Regards,

  • How to remove Gmail "sent message" label

    Hi all,
    I am using Lion in one of my Mac and I found one problem
    I am using my Gmail account in Lion Mail
    When I use Lion Mail to send/reply a mail, Gmail on brower will show a "sent message" label on that mail.
    What should I do to prevent it?
    I mean I do not want to see the "sent message" label on browser, after I sent a mail using Lion Mail.
    Thank you !!

    For anyone who has the same trouble, I foudn a soliution here:
    http://lifehacker.com/5555291/how-make-gmail-play-nicely-with-your-desktop-email -client
    Simply three steps repeated here:
    (1) click on a folder "Sent Mail" under [Gmail] and go to the Mailbox menu in the menu bar. Hover over "Use This Mailbox For" and click Sent. This will make Apple Mail use Gmail's Sent Mail folder for sent messages instead of creating its own.
    (2) A label called "Sent Messages" will show up with your other custom labels.
    (3) Drag all the messages from the "Sent Messages" label to the "Sent Mail" label, to make sure they're all there
    (4) You can then delete the "Sent Messages" label.

  • No Data in Reports Details in Custom date range

    Hello, iTunes U Public Site Manager Admins.
    As the iTunes U Public Site Manager admin, I've been trying to access our institution's iTunes U Reports Details for a couple of days. (I send a monthly report of usage to our course/collection contributors.) When I custom the date range, under Details, there is zero entry; "No data available in table" message is shown.
    This feature had been working well since Apple iTunes U added this enhancement on August 13, 2013. The report Details showed the exact stats for Browse, Subscribe, Download, Stream, and Enclosure for each course/collection in the custom date range.
    Now under "Details", the data is shown only when the date range is Last 30 Days. It shows no data in custom date range when the Calendar is used to select a Start Date and End Date.
    Has anyone else noticed this problem?
    Thanks.
    Q. Wang

    Erik.
    I used your suggestion and it worked very well. This is how I did it.
    Export the range of data that includes Feb. 1-Feb. 28, 2014 as .tsv file.
    Open that file in Excel.
    Add a blank column next to the Date column. Use function =Month() to just extract the month into the new column. Fill down the whole column. Then copy and paste special (value) into the same column (I have over 26,000 rows of data in the file.) Converting to Value will allow for the next step of PivotTable.
    Create a PivotTable for the 26,000 rows of data. Use Month as the Report filter, iTunes_ID as the Row Labels, Select Browse, Subscribe, etc. as the Sum Values. (The result is a summary table with about 200 rows.)
    I then do a Vlookup to my premade Master file to add Category (course, collection, resources) and Instructor Name to each of the 200 rows.
    That will do it for my monthly report.
    Thanks for your tip again. I did not know the .tsv file would have DATE for each item.
    Sincerely,
    Q. Wang

  • How to run the form that is only installed on a PC and not using a server?

    Hi
    I am new to Oracle and have taken the forms class. But I do not understand how to run the form from my PC using XP windows. (Do not have access to a server).
    I have started the OC4J, made sure the listener was started, compiled the form and then when I run it, it automatically goes to the HTTP:
    ERROR: res://ieframe.dll/acr_depnx_error.htm#,http://kevin:8889/forms/frmservle
    I connected to the database correctly. I can process a report and it does nor try to access the internet. My only issue is running the form. I verified it compiled.
    Sorry for a basic question. Could someone please help, I tried reviewing other questions, but not sure if they are connecting to a server or not.
    I see webutil but is it required if I don't have a server? Thank you in advance.

    Regardless of the version, it appears that you may not have configured the Builder. Do the following:
    1. Open the Builder
    2. From the menu, select Edit > Preferences > Runtime
    3. In the box labeled "Application Server URL:", enter a local URL needed to run a form OR click the button labeled "Reset to Default". If you decide to manually enter a value, it would looks something like this:
    http://localhost:8889/forms/frmservlet
    4. In the field labeled "Web Browser Location:", enter the path and executable to your preferred browser. So for example if IE is your browser of choice the entry would most likely look like this:
    C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\IEXPLORE.EXE
    5. Click on OK and retest.
    By the way, you can manually enter a URL in the browser. Clicking the RunForm button from the Builder is strictly optional. To run the "test" form directly from the browser enter the following into the browser's address field:
    http://localhost:8889/forms/frmservlet?form=test

    * Flash Player Settings
    * Webcam or microphone allow/deny dialog
    * All other dialogs (peer-to-peer access, etc)
    This issue makes it impossible to use video chat applications on Macbook Pro Retina's because users can't click allow/deny when requested for audio/video access.

    @nvhdab - If you haven't already, can you please add a bug on your issue over at bugbase.adobe.com  If it's the same as 3224151 then it sounds like it's going to be fixed soon.  I'm trying to find out exactly when, but it might be in the 11.7 release now (4/2/2013 - Flash Player 11.7.700.170 Beta)
    @scottclayton - I'm going to ask the team to revisit the click issue.  I don't have a retina display so I can't confirm the issue.  Thank you though for putting up the workaround.

  • Cannot open PDF files in Sarari

    I am not able to view PDF files in Safari. A window pops up and asks me to select the application to view the pdf file in. Preview is greyed out so I cannot select it. If I use firefox, it opens the PDF file. I do not want to have to open firefox everytime I run across a pdf file to open. Please help!

    Okay, try this instead:
    Launch Adobe Reader and go to Preferences (Command-K).
    Select the Internet category and look for a checkbox on the right that says: Display PDF in browser using:… and uncheck the box if it's checked.
    Close Preferences window and Quit Adobe Reader.
    Now, Quit Safari if it's running.
    Open your HD and go to HD/Applications/Safari.
    Control-click on Safari and choose Show Package Contents.
    Double-click on the Contents folder; inside is a group of other folders. If you see one labeled Frameworks, send it to the Trash and then close the window.
    Also, go to ~/Library/Internet Plug-Ins and look through the list to see if you have one labeled "PDF Browser Plugin"; if not, that's good, so don't install one. If you do have one, remove it to your Desktop or the Trash, but don't empty the Trash yet.
    Relaunch Safari and try to view a PDF again; post again with results.

  • Run form more then once from development

    Hi,
    I use formbuilder 10g and try for testing run my application by clicking the button run form in form builder.
    At this time the runtime environment always needs the password a second time and, if I try to run it a second time again, I have to restart my developer becaus I always get only html code but not starting the browser (Internet exlorer 6).
    What have I to change?
    regards
    Siegwin

    IE6 ? Really? You do understand that this is the year 2011? Anyway....
    Do the following:
    1. Open the Builder.
    2. From the menu select Edit > Preferences > Runtime
    3. In the field labeled Web Browser Location, enter the complete path to the desired browser. So if you are using IE for example, the entry would probably look like this:
    C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\IEXPLORE.EXE
    4. In the field labeled "Application Server URL", this should refer to your local machine and port. The easiest way to populate this field is to delete the current contents if you are uncertain of its validity, then press the button labeled "Reset to default". After click the button, simply click on OK to accept the changes.
    One last thing... it may also be necessary to change the browser security settings to permit the form to launch using the "Run Form" option. In some cases, you will need to check the browser setting " +Allow active content to run in file on My Computer+ ". This can be found in the browser settings on the Advanced tab.

  • JWM MenuMaker Wrapper

    Joe's Window Manager is a very lightweight WM used by distros such as DSL and Puppy Linux which uses fewer system resources than Openbox and Fluxbox despite coming with its own panel by default. The biggest problem is that it can be quite frustrating to set up an applications menu.
    I wrote a shell script wrapper (with a lot of awk) for MenuMaker to extend its compatibility to JWM. It does the same thing as MenuMaker except that it only works for JWM and it adds a few extra shortcuts for convenience. MenuMaker is a dependency. It passes options to MenuMaker so it works the same way except that you should not put "JWM" at the end. MenuMaker only creates static menus, as does my script, so I would recommend keeping jwmmaker and MenuMaker installed for as long as you intend on using JWM.
    I recommend installing it by saving a file called jwmmaker.sh somewhere safe (it should stay there as long as you want to keep jwmmaker) with the script below as its contents, and making a symlink to /usr/bin like so:
    # ln -s /path/to/jwmmaker.sh /usr/bin/jwmmaker
    then you can run jwmmaker like so:
    $ jwmmaker [options]
    Here is how I would do it:
    $ jwmmaker -vf
    Here is one way to view the MenuMaker help file plus a few distinctions regarding jwmmaker:
    $ jwmmaker -h
    Here is the script:
    #!/bin/sh
    # jwmmaker 0.1.0

    Every time it overwrites the .jwmrc file, it automatically creates (or overwrites) a backup of the previous version in your home directory called .jwmrc.bak. I also added some shortcuts to the main menu by default to improve the convenience of the menu. A few of these shortcuts rely on your system having one of the following packages installed, so these are optional dependencies:
    gmrun
    xdg-utils
    xscreensaver
    As I was testing it I ran into some problems regarding how options are passed based on how the arguments are put together by the user. I fixed every issue that I found, but there is a possibility I missed something, so please report any bugs to this thread so I can fix them. I am not a professional software developer, so you might find ways to be more stable or efficient. I'd be more than happy to accept community input to improve this.

    $ jwmmaker [options]
    Here is how I would do it:
    $ jwmmaker -vf
    Here is one way to view the MenuMaker help file plus a few distinctions regarding jwmmaker:
    $ jwmmaker -h
    Here is the script:
    #!/bin/sh
    # jwmmaker 0.1.0

  • Running Forms 10g Locally

    Hi,
    can some body show me please how can i configurate Froms 10g tu run locally, on my machine instead of run it in the central Forms server .
    that will help to save time on my unit tests.
    thanks.

    i copied this from a posting here, search and you may find.... but this is what you need to do to get forms running locally on your pc.
    Steps
    1. The Builder's Runtime setting must be configured correctly. Open the Builder and from the menu select:
    Edit > Preferences > Runtime
    2. Click on the button labeled "Reset to Default".
    3. In the box labeled "Web Browser Location", verify that the complete path to the preferred browser is entered. For example if you will be using MS Internet Explorer the entry will likely appear something like this:
    C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\IEXPLORE.EXE
    4. Click on OK
    5. An HTTP Listener needs to be running. Oracle provide stand-alone OC4J to fill this requirement. Be sure that OC4J is running. A shortcut is available under the developer start menu. This will open a DOS window. This window MUST remain open.
    6. If you have followed the above steps, you should now be able to click on the green traffic light in the Builder and run a form. If you have not already installed jinitiator, you will be prompted to install.
    Make sure your tnsnames.ora file is up to date with the company standard file

  • Animate route on a map

    What is the best way animate an overlay on the route from point A to point B on a roadmap?

    Thanks for the advise. Unfortunately I have not used Motion by itself before. I have only used Motion within FC. When I opened Motion and imported the map from a pane with tabs labeled File Browser, Library, and Inspector it came up in a Quick Time-like window. After selecting each tab and the various drop-down panes that appeared I found nothing that led to B-Spline tool so I used the motion Help manual and found no help there...only a keyboard shortcut for Bezier Mask Tool (option +B to select the Bezier Mask tool and option +B to select the B-Spline Mask tool. Using those shortcuts in Motion led to the Oscillate Shape (depicting a star).
    I'm feeling more then dense! Where do I go from here to complete the task?
