Labels Printing Row Wise

Hi experts,
can some body tell me how can i print ssrs lables row by row rather then column by column
what i mean is i have a ssrs label report having 5 columns whose width is 1.25x1.25 inches
now when i have to print 7 Labels it prints them in 1st column below on another
rather i want it to print side by side that is in 1st row 5
in 2nd row 2 out of all 7
can some body please help me how this could be done

Per my understanding that you have design an label print report with 5 columns and now when you increase to 7 columns the extra 2 columns will break to the second page but not display together with the first 5 columns, right?
Currently, it is not support to create label priint report row by row, as
PrajapatiNeha mentioned you can consider add page break to do the row to row.
In your scenario, I suggest you to change the page size from "Portrait" to "Landscape" to increase the width, thus you may keep the 7 columns in the same page.

Please post CREATE TABLE and a few INSERT statements as well as your desired output and your database version.

Hi,
You can create two boxes in adobe form setting properties of one as Bold and other box as non-bold.
Then based on the value you can hide the box and make visible the other one.
You have to choose the right event like change or exit ( if the value is got from user ) or
during form load event if the value is passed dynamically to form.

Problem printing horizontal text in smartform with zebra Z6M label printer

hello,
The situation is this:
There is a Z smartform wich prints a label to a zebra Z6M label printer with the text and barcodes vertically.
The form have a command in the main windows with the parameter: S_LZPL_SETUP '^FWR'
This label works fine, but the client want to change the form, they have told me to create a new smartform and print the info horizontally, using the same printer.
The tests i have done are the following:
create a smartform from ground and write a template text and a barcode with a new font of system barcodes. the bardoce is shown ok(it is shown horizontally), the problem is that the template text is shown vertically, as in the original smartform.
then i tried on another zebra ZM600 label printer, similar model, but not the same, and the smartform printed was ok (text and barcodes shown horizontally). So i think is a configuration setting problem, but i dont know where to search.
i have checked the label printer parameters in SPAD, but didnt find anything souspicios.
have you any idea?

goto smartform styles-> create a style-->
create a character format.
under standard settings give the bar code name
use this style in ur smartform. select the data field which u want to barcode print and assign the character format

1) Go to T-code - SPAD -> Full Administration -> Click on Device Type -> Double click the device for which you wish to create the print control -> Click on Print Control tab ->Click on change mode -> Click the plus sign to add a row or prefix say SBP99 (Prefix must start with SBP) -> save you changes , it will ask for request -> create request and save
2) Now when you go to SE73 if you enter SBP00 for you device it will add the newly created Prefix
Create a character format C1.Assign a barcode to the character format.Check the check box for the barcode.
The place where you are using the field value use like this
<C1> &itab-field& </C1>.
You will get the field value in the form of barcode.

A barcode solution consists of the following:
a barcode printer
a barcode reader
a mobile data collection application/program
A barcode label is a special symbology to represent human readable information such as a material number or batch number
in machine readable format.
There are different symbologies for different applications and different industries. Luckily, you need not worry to much about that as the logistics supply chain has mostly standardized on 3 of 9 and 128 barcode symbologies - which all barcode readers support and which SAP support natively in it's printing protocols.
You can print barcodes from SAP by modifying an existing output form.
Behind every output form is a print program that collects all the data and then pass it to the form. The form contains the layout as well as the font, line and paragraph formats. These forms are designed using SAPScript (a very easy but frustratingly simplistic form format language) or SmartForms that is more of a graphical form design tool.
Barcodes are nothing more than a font definition and is part of the style sheet associated with a particular SAPScript form. Custom Label Printing - Print position creeps up and across labels

Hello
I am using VS 2010 and have updated to SP4 for Crystal Reports
I used the custom size option to make a label report. The built in options for label sheets do not match the labels that I have
I made a label report for 3 columns and 8 rows using the label size, margin widths top and bottom, left and right, with the 2 widths between the columns. But this does not print correctly on the labels. The printing on the label rows creep up so by the time you reach the 8th row the label is partly on the 7th Row. The left hand column prints correctly. the middle column prints closer to the left edge of the label than in the first column and the third column is printing on the gap between the 2nd and 3rd column.
I tried making a new report and set the dimensions to the maximum sizes that would allow 24 labels (3 columns and 8 rows) but the same problem occurs as when having set the correct sizes
I am not sure if there is a method to edit the label sizes, and margin widths as happens when creating a new report or if the only option is to create a new report.
Any assistance or information on how to make the labels print with the correct row and column spacing would be appreciated.
My Labels are 67mm x 36mm. there is no space betwwen the rows, the margin at the top and bottom of the sheet are the same, and the left and right margins are the same. The space between the columns is 2mm

There is no Avery template in the list that has 24 labels, which is why I was using the Custom Label
I have tried many variations trying different widths and gaps between the labels, but in all cases by the time the 8th row is printeed the printing has crept up and is now overlapping onto the bottom of the 7th row label. The third column is printing on the gutter between the 2nd and 3rd column.
When creating a Custom label it would appear that the Wizard works on Letter size Paper regardless of the paper size that the printer is set to. All my printers are set to A4 size paper.
Letter Paper is 215.9mm x 279.4mm compared to 210mm x 297mm for A4. While the width is not a problem the length is less, and that may well be what is causing the problem when the Wizard creates the labels, despite changing the Paper size to A4. But the paper size can only be changed and set to A4 after the wizard has been given the label size and spacing for margins and gutters.
In my view the Wizard should ask for the paper size and then ask for the label size settings and layout

so i can easly get these each month records in row wise.

Empid should be constant and it will print each month records in column wise..

RegardsI'm going to take a shot and guess that you meant a total shows up only if there are values for each column. I am further going to guess that the example you gave is what you'd like to see, not what is actually going on. If so, then you need to modify your measure like this:
IFNULL(measurecolumn, 0)
Then you will get a sum even if one of you columns is null.

CP1025NW label printing problem

Win XP SP3 32-bit. After page prints, the lower 4 rows of label text looks fuzzy and smears if rubbed with my thumb. Latest firmware (2011-08-26), latest driver (2.0.20110727) and selected "labels" as print media before printing. Why is this printer doing this? My old HP LJ 1012 printed the same labels just fine.

I used to be able to print multiple copies of the same picture on one page using iphoto. There was a customise button when you went through to print and it was there somewhere. I can't see it anymore - maybe since an upgrade.
It's gone. But as a work-around, duplicate your photo (⌘D) to create as many versions as you want copies and select all at once. Then use the "Custom" print layout and set the photo size you want.
After printing, trash the added versions.

Hello ,
I assume that your requiremen is related to smartform.the below is the solution i suggest.
As per my understanding of your requirement ,It's clear that as of now there is some description field which is also getting displayed along with other PO fields.
However you would like to display the description field in a new line since the length of this field is longer than other fields as a result the data is getting scattered .
Therefore one better option could be: since the whole data from PO would be in a loop you can display all other fields in one line type of the table as per the intial requirement and you display the description line alone in a new line type wth the desired length so that data would not be scattered and no data loss would happen.
I assume you are aware of creating of line types for table.

1. The smartform name is SD_PACK_ETIK.
2.Just copy the standard program into Zprogram and make chanes and assign in NACE with the form.
3.But,in smartform lable printing is not possible.
4.you can print barcodes.

Primera LX 400 Label Printer No Longer Working with Mountain Lion

Hi-
I upgraded my OS to Mountain Lion and most everything works OK except my Primera LX400 label printer. The error message I get when trying to install the driver is "Software for this printer isn't available from Apple. Contact the printer's manufacturer for the latest software."
I contacted Primera but I haven't received an answer yet. Anyone else solve this problem with Mountain Lion and Primera Printers?
For those that depend on the Primera printers, you might want to wait before upgrading.

I decided to check a day early (7/30/12) and the driver for my LX400 is up and I was able to install and use it successfully.
