Labor Tracking In SAP ME 5.2

Hi all,
I'm trying to do Labor Tracking activity in SAP ME 5.2. I have some doubts in it.
1) What is RollUp? where shoud i configure for doing rollup?
     In Labor Rule Maintenance i have set the rules. Is there any other place we need to configure?
2) I'm not able to do Supervisor Time Edit and Approval activity. In the documents it is given that once roll up has been done,
     cost center supervisors can edit and approve time records for their employees.
     Am i getting this problem due to roll up?
3) In LCC Summary Report i'm not able to see any changes for the LCC if i chnage the User LCC in Change User LCC activity.
     Only the default LCC provided in Shop order is displayed.
Can anyone tell me how to solve all these?

I have enabled System rule and defined Labor rules.
Could u pls tell me which BAT file to run?
Whether it is ODSLaborRollup.BAT file?
For 3) the scenario is:
I have created one user as OPER in user maintenance and assigned him FIRST_SHIFT as Primary shift.
Default LCC as PRODUCTION.
In User Shift Maintenance, for the FIRST_SHIFT i have defined BREAK times.
The user Clocks in manually in POD. During BREAK times, i went to Change USER LCC activity and changed the particular user's LCC as IDLE_TIME. Once the Break time got over, again i changed the user LCC to Production.
At the end of the shift i Clocked out.
Now wen i see the LCC summary report i'm not able to find the changed User LCC and the report shows only PRODUCTION as the user's LCC.
Could u pls tell me whether i have configured properly? And how to solve this?

    I have been working with Michael Appleby in regards to questions for ME II and have found documentation for same.

    In the "Setting up Labor Tracking" document, there are two acronyms - SFC and POD.
    My initial take on SFC was that it was "Shop Floor Control", but after reading it in context of several sentences that definition did not work.  Here is a couple of sentences that use both both acronym's ...
    > Working in the POD -  If the user is a production operator using the POD, as he or she begins recording work in the POD, the system charges time against the labor. The system generates SFCs when you release product demand to the shop floor. The system assigns the labor charge code (LCC) associated with a shop order to each SFC as it generates them.
    You can allow users or supervisors to change the LCC associated with an SFC after the system has assigned it.<------
    Here is another example...
    >  At his or her workstation, the operator works one SFC at a time in the POD. <----
    So my question is - in the context of the above examples, what do "SFC" and "POD" stand for?

    "SFC" is an acronym for "Shop Floor Control" .  In SAP ME, it is an ID that reprsents a production unit or lot used for for detailed manufacturing traceability. 
    "POD" is an acronym for "Production Operataor Dashboard".  In SAP ME, it is the primary user interface of the shop floor operator.  PODs can be configured for each user, work center, or plant depending on the requirements.

    Hi YSR,
    In Solution Manager you must be having Project Template from which other Implementation or Support Projects can derive. In this Template project you can customize you own node or you can chood any extisting node to put the Issue Track in General Documentaion Tab.

  • Labor Tracking with no clock in required

    Hello together,
    I have Problems to understand Labor tracking Feature. I working with How-to-Guide for Labor and I want to set up Example 3 of rollup rules (Page 36). One of the prerequisites is "to set up Labor Tracking with no clock in required". But I do not know how to do that because the guide never presented that Option before. Also the figure of the example Shows clock in and out timestamp.

    There is section 4.5.1 'Defining Attendance Rules', which answers your question. You can use
    Manual Clock-In (default): To let users log on with no clock in and perform manual clock-in/out
    in POD, if required.

  • SAP Labor Tracking!

    I am new to this site and forum and work for a manufacturing company that recently upgraded to SAP 6.0 from an earlier version.
    In the earlier version I was able to utilize  transaction code ZPP0107 and ZPP0107A and am unable to locate this new transaction in version 6.0.
    The transaction allowed me to track individual labor charges for an individual or group of individuals by individual identification number for dates to be specified in the transaction field, ie: a single day, week, month, etc.
    Is this transaction available in SAP 6.0?

    The transactions you have mentioned are Z transactions.
    Which means these are not standard SAP transactions. There transactions were developed according to customer requirement.
    As you have mentioned you have upgraded your system from older version. As these are not standard SAP transactions it will not be available until and unless it has been moved to your new system.
    Please ask your system administrator whether they have moved these programs to new environment or they must have changed the names of the transactions. Please confirm with your system administrator.

  • IDOC Status, Tracking in SAP PI/PO Single Stack

    Hi All,
    My PO version: 7.4, SP4. I am not sure my questions below are still a limitation in current PI/PO single stack systems, and hence requesting your help for the same.
    1) Is there a way we can track outbound idocs in SAP PI/PO single stack similar to PI abap stack IDX5? ( Note:- I couldn't find any option in IDOC monitoring in single stack SAP PO 7.4, SP4)
    2) IDOC status is always 0 in SAP PO 7.4 single stack IDOC monitoring. I am not sure if this status is just specific to my PO system. Any setting needs to be applied?

  • Cost saving tracking in SAP

    Hi All
    Another interesting scenario for which I cant find many answers on SDN. How to track cost savings in standard SAP?
    Example: A company buys a material for $10 ea. General market price is $11 so its a saving of $1 per item.
    Every time a user places an order for material and that material arrives in the company, Purchasing department wants to capture total savings achieved off it.
    Has anyone ever implemented anything similar? is there any best practice for it? Does standard SAP offers any functionality....

    yes I looked into that pricing condition. Access sequence is of no use so I configured a Z copy of this condition and added access sequence as per business requirement.
    yes it is only required for reporting purpose.
    I was wondering before I put forward my idea of using pricing condition to capture this info, I might see what is out there or if anyone else has ever done anything similar.
    it is interesting how business users want to use MEK2 to enter condition records for this cost saving condition which they cannot unless I make this condition a copy of PB00.
    It doesn't allow me the add condition records of ZP01 (a copy of MP01 - same config) via MEk2.
    Can you think of better way of entering data?

                           As rightly said you need to develop your own logic . With the help of your ABAPer, create a ZTable . Also develop a program in which u cerate a entry based on the Customer. The entries get stored in the ZTable cretaed . Then you can develop a report which can show you which C or F forms has been recieved or pending .

       You may go for development to create program with own screens to create the material request and store the material request number along with other details in ztable. Create custom program to refer this material request and issue the material against it with corresponding movement type. You may use the BAPI: BAPI_GOODSMVT_CREATE in background.     You should ask business how they want to manage it.
    E.g. if they know who is the person you can create a SO and sell the material to that person (with some surcharge)
    In my opinion you should go through physical inventory process and correct the stock level. (GI against cost center (MB1A + mvt 201) or scrapping (MB1A + mvt 551) could also be used, however I think physical inventory is the "normal" way from businesss point of view)

  • Tracking emails sent through SAP using Outlook Integration

    Hello experts,
    I have a question regarding Outlook Integration.
    Can emails through SAP be tracked using SAP?
    The customer is using Outlook Integration. When an email (containing an invoice for example) is sent through, the email is stored in the users sent folder in Outlook.
    Is there a way that SAP can track all sent emails through SAP through an activity or some other feature?

    I am working on B2B webshop product catalog pricing and I have to make some changes in Java classes which are supposed to be in com\sap\isa\backend\crm\webcatalog\pricing..........But i am trying to import them in NWDI perspective and I dont find this

    Does any one know how can I import this track and where it is.... all associated Java Classes in this track to my NWDS?

    If that is the case, I already imported but i am unable to find this track com.sap.isa.backend.crm.webcatalog.pricing .
    If you could access this track could you please let me know the name of one Java Class atleast that is present in this track?
    Also I can only find the custom Z classes that I have written in crmhomeshrextsap.com , but some how not the standard SAP classes.
    If i say ctrlshiftT, i can search for standard classes and open them, but if i click in "Link with Editor", I cant find the source of the class....but  "Link with Editor" still works for my custom classes.
    Any help with this will be higly appreciated. Will be waiting for your response. Thanks.

    You can Track using T-code SNOTE and go-to SAP Note browser. Check for the Implementation status 'Completely Implemented'. check the Note log for more details.
    Maually applied notes you can track thru Transport Request numbers.
