Labrary shows tutorials
I have been using iTunes for many years, and I have been upgrading numerous times.
I just downloaded and installed the latest iTunes, version 10.6.1 for Microsoft Windows 7 x64.
Now iTunes will no longer show me my library of music.Instead, it insists on showing me a list of different toturials.
But I don't want tutorials; I want to play my music.
Is that possible?
Empty/corrupt library after upgrade/crash
Hopefully it's not been too long since you last upgraded iTunes, in fact if you get an empty/incomplete library immediately after upgrading then with the following steps you shouldn't lose a thing or need to do any further housekeeping. In the Previous iTunes Libraries folder should be a number of dated iTunes Library files. Take the most recent of these and copy it into the iTunes folder. Rename iTunes Library.itl as iTunes Library (Corrupt).itl and then rename the restored file as iTunes Library.itl. Start iTunes. Should all be good, bar any recent additions to or deletions from your library.
See iTunes Folder Watch for a tool to catch up with any changes since the backup file was created.
When you get it all working make a backup!

Using an External Hard Drive vs. a separate computer for music producing
Hi all. I have a dilemma. I'm currently using logic express to make my music and its installed on my 13 inch macbook pro that I bought last year. Granted, it works fine, however I am looking to upgrade to Logic Studio soon as well as purchase Spectrasonic's Omisphere, which for those who don't know is about 50 gb of sounds. That on top of the 50 gb that come with Logic Studio means about 100 gb of software which I frankly don't have the room for on my macbook pro. I've been looking at buying a new mac mini, 2.3 ghz i5 with 8gb of RAM and a 500 gb Hard Drive, solely dedicated to making music. However, my friends tell me I should just buy an external hard drive and install Logic, as well as the software, on the hard drive since it will be far less expensive than buying a new computer. However, I don't know how I feel about installing software on an external hard drive. So my question is, given what I am trying to do, what is my best option? Are there issues with using an external hard drive for this sort of work that would make buying a seperate mac mini more practical, or vice versa?
If you want to do this in a cost-effective way, you should delete some files you don't need from your macbook pro to make room for logic pro. Even though Logic Pro has around 50 GB of stuff, most of it comes from the Jam Packs, which I'm guessing you won't really need to use...So make room for Logic Pro on your laptop and install it there...then use the external hard drive to store and record your music to.
If you're going to get a mac mini with that type of spec, you might as well buy a new macbook pro with the same specs and better.
Option #3, you can always upgrade your internal hard drive...there are plenty of sites on the net that shows tutorials and offers hard drives that have plenty of storage, faster speed, and you won't even need to purchase an external if you upgrade to at least a 1 TB, 7200 rpm hard drive. -
Hello people, sometimes I would get the message "Shockwave Flash may be busy or it may have stopped responding". There is no way I can fix this. I have tried Google and they don't show tutorials on how to permanently fix this. What year is this? 2002? Not it's not. It's almost 2015. Can you please fix this for Firefox 34 or newer?
Shockwave Flash is an Adobe product - it's up to them to fix it. All we can do here at Mozilla Support is offer suggestions that have worked for us and other users.

How do you create a link to a pdf in Muse? Thought it was going to show that with Katie's menu and can't find in any of the tutorials.
The steps would be :
- Add files from file menu > select pdf > add to site
- Select the content (rectangle,text etc) and click on hyperlink dropdown > it should show you the added files list
- Select the file you want to link

I want to make a DVD of a slide-show with an audio track behind the photographs. I have carefully followed the iDVD video tutorials but the result is far from satisfactory. The quality of the images on the resulting DVD are blurred and indistict although the original photographs are of a very high quality. Where am I going wrong? Would I have better results from a different program than the inbuilt iDVD and if so so what programs have others found to be better? I should be grateful for some expert guidance.

Looks like you have image quality issues when using iDVD to burn.

A standard DVD made by iDVD is made to the standard DVD resolution of 720 X 480, which is smaller than most HDTVs and monitors. When expanded to fit the entire screen or monitor, the image will distort slightly due to upscaling to fit the screen or monitor.

I have tried everything to add my husband's ipod to our new computer in Itunes. I have looked at many tutorials with no luck. Iexplorer allowed us to add all of the music from the Ipod classic to Itunes. However, I tried to add his device with a new library with no luck. For some reason, his Ipod isn't on my account in Itunes even though the majority of music he has purchased has been with my account. I can't figure out how to add his Ipod to my account. We have authorized the computer for his device. I want to make sure he has his own library because I don't want all of his music on my Ipad. Also, Itunes is updated. This is driving me crazy, and anybody who can help me will be very appreciated.

Illustrator tutorials only show top of the screen/won't scroll on Mac OS X Yosemite
I've just downloaded Illustrator onto a brand-new Mac running OS X Yosemite.
I've never used Illustrator before, but am familiar with Photoshop.
I've got the screen with the tutorials/tips open. It will only show the top of the screen - there is clearly lower information, but I can't get to it. I can just click on the videos on the bottom of the screen, but can't scroll down to see them.
Tips? Any idea what is happening?The tutorials are downloaded from the internet, so in case your Firewall settings don't allow Illustrator to get them or the internet is down, then you might not be able to see them.
What happens when you scroll way down - there should be a button to hide the welcome screen. Is it there?
Maybe some staff people can shed some more light on this. -
I bought LR 5 Oct 16 this year. Why doesn't my watermark work when I export photos? I followed tutorials and still it does not work. Once, a few photos out of about 100 exported with the watermark, but only once. Is this a bug? how to fix? Also, how to I get rid of unwanted presents?
Are you exporting as JPG or TIFF or PSD?
Any other format (including "Original") will not show a watermark. -
Premiere Pro CC features list and video tutorials show syncing of video clips by waveform. Why?
This feature is not present in Premiere Pro CC, so why does the features list boast it? Why do the online tutorial videos show options that don't exist?
Despite one of the touted benfits of Cloud Cuckoo being the rapid implementation of innovations, you will have to wait until June the 17 for this particular feature, as the true CC is not released until then.
I should be very interested to know, in a round figure, the exact number of instant innovations those who subscribed to the initial offering of Premiere via CC have received during the past year. Sarbanes-Oxley no longer provides a fig-leaf! -
My speed grade does not show a menu on my mac, like I see in the tutorials
I had bought the speed grade as a part of creative suite production premium, but it does not have a menu like shown on the tutorials, and it also does not have the noise reduction option. Do I need to activate speed grade separately through some channel or am I doing something wrong, I need to use it for a documentary I am making and I am an amateur to this world of post production. I would be thankful to people who may be able to help in this regard.

why is the airplay icon not appearing in the top bad like all the tutorial videos?
I assume that you did not check before buying, if you had you would have seen that your Mac is too old for Airplay Mirroring to work:

Images/Background no longer show up
I'm not really sure what is going on here, but here's the
situation:
I've never used Dreamweaver before and I began updating a
site for work. Editing the text went fine but when I changed
pictures, an FTP error occured saying the file may not exist or
there is a permission problem. Not knowing what I'm doing, I
downloaded Dreamweaver onto the computer again as well as the old
site files.
Aparantly this was a bad idea. Now text won't update on the
site and images won't even display. The links will still work, but
nothing shows up. I have a feeling it's a relatively simple
solution, but I'm pretty lost. If anyone has any suggestions please
send them this way. The site is www.skatkat.com.

3D option not showing up for me in Photoshop!?
Hey guys, I'm using my Photoshop CS6 Extended & I'm trying to utilize the '3D' effect feature, but it's not showing up where it should be.... I been following video tutorials & such online from other users of my same photoshop version, & I'm seeing where there 3D option shows up, but it doesn't for me!
Also I have tried going to Edit>Preferences> Performance .... the Graphics Processor settings section says, " No GPU options available with Photoshop standard", the 'Use Graphics Processor" option is not checked in, nor is photoshop allowing me to select this option ... when I run my cursor over this section the description box at bottom reads, "Photoshop detected an error in your display driver. Update or reinstall the driver and check Use Graphics Processor to retry."
I'm not sure if the above mentioned information is relevant or not, but from what I've gathered through my online searches it MAYbe... figured I'd include it incase it is relevant to speed up the troubleshooting process.
