Labview 6.0.2 patch does not remove my "image.cpp" error

I have an industrial PC with the following characteristics:
* Sharp LQ10D367 10.4" TFT screen, running a VGA driver (16 colours only option)
* ROBO 608, Industrial SBC motherboard with onboard video driver, from Chips and Technologies, 69000; 2MB onboard video memory
The standard VGA driver is the most recent driver, and in fact the only one available for this hardware.
Labview 5.1 runs without problem on this machine, but when I loaded Labview 6 (with the 6.0.2 patch) it came up with an "image.cpp error, line 4150" every time I tried adding a graph to the front panel. Changing the screen acceleration properties did not make any difference.
Though I have gone back to version 5.1
for the time being, my application would benefit substantially from the current version.
Are there any fixes for this, or is Labview 6 simply not compatible with VGA screen drivers?

I have LV6.0.2 running on an Arcom SBC with the Chips and Technology 69000
HiQVideo 2MB display chip. This chip is not capable of rendering 3D graphics.
I have noticed the CPU will go to 100% usage if I open a sub-VI panel with lots
of the new 3D graphics on it, as the display chip passes rendering off to the
main processor.
Perhaps you could try replacing the LV6 3D graphics with the older versions
that are available on the Controls pallet. At 16 colors the new graphics look
terrible anyway.
I am running the chip at 1024 X 768 screen resolution and 65K colors with
no other problems.

Try these steps below to clear the print queue. The steps are listed for Vista and Windows 7 and would be slightly different for XP. If you are using a Mac then the steps below would not work. Please advise what OS you are using.
Option 1)
1. Click on start orb
2. Type in search window: "services.msc" (without the quotes)
3. click ok
4. Scroll down to Printer spooler service and click on it in the right side window.
5. On the left side click stop the service and wait forthe process to stop
(Do not close the window yet. You will have to restart it here later.)
6. next delete the print job in the printer queue
7. then restart the spooler service
8. Resubmit your new print job.
Option 2)
If that doesn't clear it, the next step would be to stop the spooler
service as stated above
Go into windows explorer
(Print job data is collected and stored in a spool file in the spooler
folder.)
It is located in:
C:\WINDOWS\system32\spool\PRINTERS
Your print job will show 2 files there Example below:
00002.SHD
00002.SPL
Delete the files located in there. There may be several of them
depending apon how many print jobs you submitted. You will have to
resubmit your print jobs all over again.
Next go back to services window and restart the spooler service

Have you tried a reset ? Press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider if it appears), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot.

How to remove history in the location bar? Deleting history and then using "History" only in the settings for the location bar does not remove old history.

I want to remove ''old History'' in the Location bar.
I am using Firefox 3.6.13.
"Clear recent history" does not remove the old History in the Location bar. And changing the setting to only show "History" does also not remove the old history.
Pressing "Delete" on single lines when opening the list by clicking the arrow to the right in the location bar, remove the entries temporary. But next time you type in the location bar, the same suggestions are there.

Entries in the location bar drop down list with a yellow (blue on Mac) star at the right end are bookmarks.<br />
You can remove such a bookmarked item that shows in the list if you open that url in a tab and click the yellow star in the location bar.<br />

I have set up a rule so that emails from a certain sender should be marked as 'read' and routed to a certain folder. The rule works just fine except for the fact that it does not remove the new mail notification from the taskbar icon
or the system tray. The rule reads as follows:
Apply this rule after the message arrives
with New Home Sale in the subject
move it to the _New Home Sales folder
and mark it read
Once I open the _New Home Sales folder, all messages are marked as read, as they should be. When I open any of the emails in this folder, the notification goes away. It does not even have to be the most recent email or the same folder
- opening any email from any folder clears the notification, even if the same email was used to clear it before. Previewing does not remove the notification.
I have a similar rule set up for another folder:
Apply this rule after the message arrives
with New Home Final Sale in the subject
move it to the _New Home Final Sales folder
and mark it as read
The same thing happens here with the unread notification.
This is very annoying, as I want to receive these emails but I do not need to know every time one comes in.
Does anyone have any advice on this? I have read a few threads about an unread email bug, but I'm hoping I'm just missing a setting somewhere. I find it hard to believe such a bug would persist this long.

From your description, I would like to verify the Exchange version and Outlook version at first. Since I have a test in my environment using Exchange 2010 with Outlook 2010. I create a same inbox rule, it works and there is no new mail notification from
the taskbar.
What's more, I recommend you use Outlook safe mode to determine whether the problem is caused by add-ins.
If the issue persists, please install the Outlook latest Service Packs and check the result.

Uninstaller utility does not remove the installation from the registry

In our environment, we publish a script in Group Policy so that both the ActiveX and Plugin installs for flash player are easily installed for staff that have limited user access on their computers. I usually remove or replace the old MSI files from the path the above script installs from when I get new versions of Flash Player. For a while, I've run into a problem where when the new MSI files are installed, they try to uninstall the existing installation and fail because the old MSI file is no longer at the original installation source path. I've tried to remedy this by having the script use the uninstall_flash_player utility to manually remove the activex and plugin first, but this utility does not remove the installation details of each from the registry, and the subsequent installations of the MSI files fail. I have to uninstall the existing flash player installations first or perform a registry hack to formally remove the installation from Windows, and then the new installation will succeed.
Does anybody have any advice for making this process work better? Would this be considered a bug with the uninstaller tool?

Updating F_BKPF_KOA does not remove SOD Issues

We have recently installed GRC 5.3 and are currently working through SOD issues located in some roles, however we have found that trying to restrict a Function in the Rule Set does not remove the SOD Issue:
Example:
We have created and AP Processing Role and based upon the Standard Rule Set FB02 is causing an SOD issue with itself.
Functions AP02 and GL01 are being called, I have enabled F_BKPF_KOA, ACTVT 01,02 and KOART S in the GL01 function (authorisation for KOART - S not present on the AP Processing Role), this has been saved and the Rules updated, yet the issue persists.
Any advice???

i got it.
things are working perfectly as designed.
now let me explain how RAR do analysis.
it will pull Role Data and Rules data (enabled one only) and then do comparison one by one.
first it will check for relevant tcode (we are doing persmission level analysis)
then it will compare all objects in role with object in that rule (in your case it is 02907N01)
then field values will be compared
IF FIELD VALUES IN RULES EXIST IN ROLE ALSO, THEN IT IS CONFLICT
hope you get my point.
now in your case.... you are trying that if you disable ACTVT 03 , the conflict should not show.
sorry you are going wrong way...
now your rules say if any user have ACTVT 01 OR 02, then it should show conflict.
and yes ROLES do satisfy that.
remove 02 and 01 from role only then it will not show conflict.

i have found out, that a "netcgf2 -a" does not remove /var/run/daemons/net-profiles. after that i have to stop the net-profiles daemon by hand. i connect to networks with "netcfg2 <profile>", the net-profiles daemon will be started automatically by that command.
is this an issue?
another problem i have is, that netcfg2 even cannot connect to a network automatically, if i have two networks with the same beginning:
for example: network a: foo; network b: foobar - when i want to connect to "foo" it uses the "foobar" profile, because the name of the profile file is listed before the name of the file from network a.

The first thing: I thing netcfg2 should not touch anything in /var/run/daemons, since that's the job of scripts in /etc/rc.d/* It's the same for any daemon you run - if you kill it manually, not using /etc/rc.d/<whatever> stop, then you have to clean up /var/run/daemons/<whatever> yourself as well.
before connecting with netcfg2 there is no "net-profiles" in /var/run/daemons. after netcfg2 <profile> it is. after "netcfg2 -a" the file is still there, so it indicates net-profiles-daemon is still running.

reboot does not remove prior firefox, which was uninstalled - cannot run new install due to vestiges of earlier version detected - reboot required to remove, yet removal never complete, so never able to run new install. please provide diagnostic detect & remove for any firefox items left on system

You can try using this tool to remove all traces of previous version(s) of Reader:

Simulate Acquisition does not include new image file created after first call

For example, I have 5 images in a folder.
I call Simulate Acquisition.
It cycles through all 5 images.
Now If I include 1 more image it does not include this image in the "cycle". I need to reload this step by clicking Main\path\browse button and select any image in the folder and then it cycles through all 6 images.
Is there anyway to automatically include new images added to the folder after the step has been created?

Here's a sample inspection and VI to illustrate how you could do this. I used an image variable and passed this into the Run LV step so the VI could read the file and update the image variable and then I used the Select Image step to get the image variable into the VBAI script so you can process it. I also added a delete option in the VI so you can delete the previous image when you read the next available image. Make sure to go to the Setup State and initialize the path variable to where your image files will live (to access the Setup State, go to View>>View Complete Inspection and select on the Setup option on the left hand side. I initialized it to c:\Image Folder

GTX 670 PE - Does not transmit the image - Stopped working and has recovered

First excuse me for English.
I bought my gtx 670 last year, and everything worked fine but sometimes with blue screen, thought it would be a mismatch. Before yesterday, when I was playing, the screen went black and the message appeared that he had recovered. I uninstalled all drivers and reinstalled all to the latest version 334.89. When I start my computer does not appear any image. The monitor seems to receive the signal from the board, but does not transmit. Replaces it with my old gtx 460 and it worked perfectly. I removed one stick of memory, and for a few minutes I thought I would have solved my problem until the screen goes completely black again. Updated the bios to latest version of the motherboard. Yesterday and today were the day of testing.
I put the video card in another machine and got a better response.
In my current machine can not see the bios when I start the machine.
On another machine I can see the bios and I can spend some time with image, but spending a few minutes the screen goes black also.
I did a stress test and then the screen went black. The temperature was 40 degrees.
I'm guessing the card is actually faulty.
Any idea for new tests?

Aperture 3 project does not display any images in one Project

This is a strange situation. The bullets below outline the situation:
The project does not display any images
When I place the pointer over the project it shows there are 500+ images
I have located the RAW images stored in my aperture library
I can pull up the images using a smart folder and searching for photos taken on the event day
This is happening only to one of my projects that I know of (weird!!)
I have tried to 're-add' the image by both importing and dragging and dropping into the project, neither works
I tried the following basics:
Fixed permissions
Rebuilt the database
Tried to re-import the data, but when I have the 'don't import duplicates' these are not an option
Found the images in my Aperture library
I created another project and drug all of the images into that project
Any idea how I can fix this?
My fear is that if I delete the original project, the original master images will be deleted.

The most common cause of this is some sort of stuff in the search box at the top of the browser that you don't expect to be there. Just clear it and all your images should show up.

One note - if you drug your images from one project to another it moves them vs copies them unless you hold down the option key.
