their staff in developing state-of-the-art automation systems. Mink
Hollow Systems is a Systems Integrator in central Maryland that works
closely with National Instruments hardware and software to deliver
custom data acquisition, test and measurement, machine vision, and
motion control systems to a diverse clientele.
The ideal
candidate has 7-10 years of programming experience using LabVIEW and
holds a National Instrument's Certified LabVIEW Developer or Architect
status. Candidate handles LabVIEW integration projects from beginning
to end and shall be able to demonstrate an extensive knowledge and use
of National Instruments hardware and other instrumentation. Good
interpersonal skills are necessary to interact with customers to
understand requirements, participate in bid process, manage timelines
on projects, perform LabVIEW programming, and handle customer questions
and concerns.
The position requires 75% programming, 15%
hardware design and test, and 10% customer interface and project
management. Expertise in a specific product area such as machine
vision, motion control, embedded systems, distributed systems,
TestStand or CVI is highly desired. Experience in a sales role and/or
customer service is considered a plus.

LabVIEW test automation engineer - Los Angeles, CA

Start up aerospace company (pre-IPO) seeks one or more well qualified test automation engineers experienced with LabVIEW software development. Position responsibilities would include working with engineers to specify test equipment and develop control software for board level or system level testing. Important job requirements:
- BS degree in an engineering discipline. Graduate degree a plus.
- U.S. citizen willing to locate to the Los Angeles area.
- Candidate should be able to demonstrate basic technical know-how (math, physics, engineering, etc) and possess hands-on skills. Experience with harness and simple circuit design is a plus.
- Candidate must be comfortable with solving open ended problems and tasks. Candidate should communicate very well with other engineers.
- Applicant should have completed at least several LabVIEW projects and be able to discuss in detail each aspect of the project.
- Experience with aerospace hardware and avionics test requirements is desireable but not required.
- Enthusiasm for a fast paced work environment with lots of responsibility and opportunity for growth.
We are seeking full time employees but will consider contract assignments.
