LabVIEW CLD Seeking 2014 Summer Internship

Hi,
I am a US-based CLD who is currently studying for an MS in aerospace engineering. I completed my BS in biomedical engineering and also received an academic certification in scientific computation. I have acted as the lead software engineer for several LabVIEW-based academic projects including medical diagnostic devices and automated test rigs for aerospace applications.
I am currently looking for an summer internship opportunity where I can continue learning more about LabVIEW, preferably in the aerospace industry. I am a hard worker and a fast learner so please contact me if you have an open position that presents a good fit for my skill set. I will provide my resume upon request.

  • Two month summer internship at NI

Hello, I am a 3rd year electronics and instrumentation student from BITS Pilani a reputed engineering college in India. I am interested in undertaking summer training at national instruments over June, July 2011. Over the past 1.5 years I have had vast exposure to labview and I am very proficient in its working. I have worked on a significant number of projects on LabVIEW and interfacing with DAQ cards as well both at college and at my previous internship at CEERI Chennai. Now I am interested in working/training on industry related projects through LabVIEW in fields concerning FPGAs, Signal Processing and Embedded systems. I feel that an internship at NI would help me greatly in getting exposure to industry related technical projects which will be greatly beneficial to me for my future. My project on LabVIEW has been recognized as well and one of them was awarded the distinction of 2nd best paper at the technical festival of IIT Kanour. Hence I amn hoping that I will get an opportunity to take my understanding and knowldege further. In this regard I would like to know through this forum about the possibilities of suc internships in NI India and as to whom I should contact. Please feel free to mail me with any info at [email protected] Thank you.

  • How can I build a LabView application that uses the 2012 runtime, on a development system with LabView 2013 or 2014 installed?

I need to build a LabView application .exe to run with the 2012 Runtime, for legacy support. I currently have LabView 2013 installed on my development system, and have 2014 available. How can I build an application that uses the 2012 runtime on this development system? Do I have to downgrade to 2012? Thank you.

We have existing customers that have installed our application that was originally built with 2012 (provided by a contractor that is no longer available).  Due to IT regulations, it is far easier to update these customers by simply replacing the .exe file, than creating an install that their IT department must run.
If I have to downgrade to LabView 2012, where can I get the installation for this?

  • CLD seeking employment UK

I will be finishing my physics PhD within the next few months and I'm looking for an opportunity to work with hardware systems. During my three and half year PhD I have used LabVIEW very frequently during extensive laboratory work. Some examples of my LabVIEW work include:
Control and measurement via serial connections, e.g. class IV lasers, motorised or piezo driven microscope stages, signal generator.
Image capture / camera control, including at fairly high speeds, via GigE vision and Camera Link.
    Image processing and particle tracking.
    Data analysis.
Control of a machine that essentially performs micro-scale 3D printing by generating coordinates that describe the desired structure and the desired "scan lines" for printing.
    CLD qualified.
I have also worked to another person's software specifications. I have a masters degree (MSci) in physics.
