We regret that the LabVIEW Fundamentals Exam will no longer be available.
The exam questions have been updated and are available as two sample exams in pdf form on the following link https://lumen.ni.com/nicif/us/ekitcladexmprp/content.xhtml.
This transition will give us more control on the exam content, giving us the ability to add newer questions to the set when needed.
The new sample exams are a better representative of the current CLAD exam to help you better prepare for the exam.

Exam results not updated on Oracle CertView

I have passed the following exam :
1z0-052 - Oracle 11g Administration I
in October 22 . The exam results are posted in my PearsonVUE account , but not updated in Oracle CertView acount . Only my previous exam ( 1z0-051 , which was in March ) details are there .
I have contacted ( a web-form ) Oracle Certification Support two days ago and they never responded.
My OCA certification is processed only after this exam is updated. How to resolve this ?

It would probably be better if you are in your own thread.
Is it that you have access to certview and your certification doesn't show there, or is it that you haven't recieved your certification success kit in the post?
It you register on http://certview.oracle.com you can publish your certification credrentials via email from Oracle Certview to thrid parties who ask.

Oracle Exam result not available on Oracle CertView account

Hello,
I have given my Oracle PL/SQL Developer Certified Associate exam (1z0-147) today i.e. 9th March, 2013. But I have not received my exam result till now and no mail also from Oracle and in my oracle certview account also result for that exam is not present. I have given exam from a authorized PearsonVUE centre. And in my PearsonVUE account my exam status is showing as "Taken".
Is this because of some server problem or something else. Please help with the same.

.... I always thing there has to be a higher risk of a delay at the weekends. The information has to get from the Test Center to Pearson VUE Central Systems through to Oracle Certifcation systems. With inevitable reduced staffing at weekends, timezone differences, weekend maintenances there surely has to be a higher risk of a delay at weekends. My opinion only. Hopefully it all sorts itself out by end of play monday PDT.

Hi thanks for the help.
Actually i am trying to send 10 sine signals from server pc to client pc. So i will bundle 10 signals in server pc and send it and in client pc i am unbundling it and need to save in TDMS format.
Till unbundling i was able to do. TDMS format it is saving only last value. I need to save all the values. Kindly help me on same. I am attaching both the VI.

Parallel Processing : Unable to capture return results using RECIEVE

Hi,
I am using parallel processing in one of my program and it is working fine but I am not able to collect return results using RECIEVE statement.
I am using
CALL FUNCTION <FUNCTION MODULE NAME>
STARTING NEW TASK TASKNAME DESTINATION IN GROUP DEFAULT_GROUP
PERFORMING RETURN_INFO ON END OF TASK
and then in subroutine RETURN_INFO I am using RECEIVE statement.
My RFC is calling another BAPI and doing explicit commit as well.
Any pointer will be of great help.

I used the wait command after rfc call and it worked additionally I have used Message switch in Receive statement because RECIEVE statement was returing sy-subrc 2.

Not sure what's going on here. Possibly a corrupt drive? Or the target drive is full?
Try running the imagex command manually from a F8 cmd window (in WinPE)

Not recieved my shipment

Hello Sir/Madam,
I did not recieved my Oracle success kit yet, i gave exam on 30th April 2012 and passed successfully.
I checked my pearson vue account and address was correct, any ways I have added some more info to the address now.
I already raised SRs for this issue but did not get any response from Oracle Support- highly disappointed
Can you please guide me what to do to get my success KIT.

Press the Certification Status Tab
Press the Success kit Status TAB.
You should seen a line like:
BIGDELBOY 1st shipment 31-DEC-99 Oracle Power Objects Certified Associate - Fra-tton Park Frogmore Road, Ports-mouth P-O-4 8RA
The key item here is the shipment date ..... (31-DEC-99) It takes 6/8 weeks from that to get your shipment. In fact Oracle will not respond if your raise SR's before that date.

Now my understanding is that if Oracle has determined you need a reship:
- They will send you an electronic copy immediately
- THe will order you a reshipment:
-- For some reshipments I assume that will appear in certview .... but it may take up to about a week to appear in certview. And up to 6/8 weeks to appear in your inbox.
--For certain expedited ships they may no appear in certview.
*Now: The the certview success kit (incl certificate) cannot be tracked via a D-H-L track-er or InsihMurrayPostlTracker whatever. All you get is a shipment date (which I think personally is better thought of as the date the order way place with the success kit manufacture, not the date of post-ing.

- (1) I suggest you wait a week after your electronic copy to see if any shipment appears in certview
- (2) Although you received an electronc copy of your certificate for Oracle I remain unsure if all comminucations to you re getting though. I suspect the obfistication used to protect individual certification helpdesk staff may provoke some spa-m filters more than other communications.

It may be after a week you feel you need to raise another SR.
One key way on how to raise SR's effectively is suggested by Brandy here: {message:id=10266530} wher a candidate felt Oracle were not replying to him:
My suggestion to you would be to submit a new SR, and reference one of your previous SRs, provide confirmation that your mailing address and other information are correct at Pearson VUE and in CertView, ask for your certificate to be reshipped .... and let them know that you have not received any of their email communications. I would also suggest that you provide an alternate email address.

It is worth noting certview can also publish you credentials to third parties: It works something like:-
You supply to certview 3rd party's email address and what you want published there:
Third party gets email giving URL and credentials to viewthe certifications the you have permitted to be viewd.
This should be suffient proof to a third party in lieu of a certificate.
It is worth publishing the credential to yourslf once so you get practce as to how this works.

Exam results for 1Z0-858

Hi,
Yesterday (4th May 2013) , I had appeared for the 1Z0-858 (OCPJWCD EE5) certitifcation exam at the NIIT,Residency Road,Bangalore test center, and that will get a mail regarding the results in 30 min after completing the test, but its been a whole day now, and theres no update from Oracle regarding this.Can anyone please let me know the reason for this delay ?

It looks like there have been some problem from at least some test ceners getting results through to Certview.
It is a weekend ... one with a bank holiday at that in some cases, though AFAIK it was on Wednesday in most if not all of India.
A lot of the experts who fix these things when broken will only be back at work on Tuesday (US local).
So it it probably best to be patient until then.

HT1277 Help-i am not recieving e-mails from a specific sender, even after adding them to my contacts.

Was it once working and then failed, or has it never worked?
When you try to send mail, do you get an error message, or does the message just sit in the outbox?
What steps have you already take to resolve this, and what results have you achieved?
For example, did you check with bellnet.ca administrators or knowledgebase to see what the proper outbound SMTP server address and settings are, then verify the contents of Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars > {bellnetaccount} > Account > Advanced > Mail > Outgoing Mail Server > SMTP > Primary Server > {servername} match that?
(Yes, those settings are buried deep and hard to find at this point. It would have been easier to set them on the initial creation of the account.)

When running labview's test executive I recieve runtime error: Call to step "PRE-RUN" failed. Could someone explain this error?

I have a set of vi's that work when run under labview. However, when calling these vi's from labview's test executive I recieve runtime error: Call to step "PRE-RUN" failed. in Assign Connector Pane.vi->Call Test.vi->Execute Pre-Run.vi->Test Executive. Could someone explain this error to me? (or ideally tell me how to fix it?) Thanks.

There are any number of possible causes to this problem. Which version of Test Executive are you using? Have you upgraded your Test Executive recently? The latest version is 5.1.1. If you have changed anything about Test Executive on your computer recently, I recommend you perform a mass compile of all your VI libraries, as having different versions of the VIs on your system could often result in the "Call to Step XYZ Failed" errors. Also, are you using any DAQ or Analysis VIs in your steps? We have seen problems where the use of DAQ or Analysis VIs in the sequence can cause intermittent "Call to Step...Failed" errors. There are some KnowledgeBase entries on our website that discuss this problem. Are you using the Test Executive in the VI environment, or
as an executable? Again, there are some problems with using Test Executive as an executable that result in these errors, and there are also KnowledgeBase entries that discuss these problems.
If you have a pared-down application that demonstrates the problem, feel free to send me your VIs and your .seq file and I will try to reproduce the problem.

HelloAll,
I am looking for a resource(s) that can help me prepare for the Labview CLAD exam, I have worked through the 2 online example papers and these are very good at showing the weak spots. Some of the questions are a bit beyond me still, for example:
Which of the following apply to Property Nodes?
a. Understand ans
b. Understand ans
c. Understand ans
d. Property Nodes contained in a SubVI will always cause the front panel to beloaded in memory.
Which VI memory components are ALWAYS resident for a SubVI?

Not recieving bbm messages

Hey I have been having problems with my bbm, I'm not recieving any bbm messages and can't send them either. The only way I can send and recieve is through wifi please help I have been battling since last night

With your WiFi radio OFF and a strong signal from your carrier data network, I suggest the following steps, in order, even if they seem redundant to what you have already tried (steps 1 and 2 each should result in a message coming to your BB...please wait for that before proceeding to the next step):
1) Register HRT
KB00510 How to register a BlackBerry smartphone with the wireless network
Please wait for one "registration" message to arrive to your Messages app
2) Resend Service Books
KB02830 Send the service books for the BlackBerry Internet Service
Please wait for "Activation" Messages, one per already configured email account, to arrive in your Messages. If you have no already configured email accounts, please wait 1 hour.
3) Batt Pull Reboot
Anytime random strange behavior or sluggishness creeps in, the first thing to do is a battery pop reboot. With power ON, remove the back cover and pull out the battery. Wait about a minute then replace the battery and cover. Power up and wait patiently through the long reboot -- ~5 minutes. See if things have returned to good operation. Like all computing devices, BB's suffer from memory leaks and such...with a hard reboot being the best cure.
Hopefully that will get things going again for you! If not, then you should contact your mobile service provider for formal support.

I would like to attain sample Labview Developers exams.

I was hoping to download sample exams to study for the Labview Developers Exam. I also want to know if the preperation course offered by NI for the exam is worth pursuing.

There is not a sample test, but you can download a pdf of the Tasks and Objectives that might covered on the test here. Look for the "Certified LabVIEW Developer" heading, then click the Tasks and Objectives link. There is also other information available on that page.
I didn't take the prep course, but a co-worker did and he did pass the test after taking it.

I attempted IZ0-051 couple of days back and could not clear it , and i am planning to make another attempt in next few days after studying more hard, so my question is now when i go to pearson website , it shows exams that i have taken it in past which were not cleared.
Is this also visible to prospective employer .. can he see how many attempts i have made to clear a exam ? or do we get a diff. url which is suppose to be provided to prospective employer, if we clear the exam ?

Learner1) If you take the exam at a Pearson VUE Test Center current practice is you should get a score report for each exam (excluded), be it pass or fail.
2) My understanding is you may also be able to print this off from the Pearson View History Display.
- I recently within the last week cleared 1z0-047 at a test center, the result was printed to me, and the status on Pearson VUE is 'taken'
(Other status I have at Pearson VUE from LPIC/MySQL have been canceled and passed ... so I dont know if it will go form taken to pass but it was a pass).
- What I cannot seem to do however is to print my score report from that website (eg telling me I have failed to answer a question creating a simple table ... etc etc). I had heard rumours that that is possible, however all I could print is details of the appointment and result status.
3) If you take the exam online I am not sure what one gets and when and how.
None of these documents are authorative proof anyway.
For authorative proof one needs to have earned a certification.
A certification is awarded when a set of requirements (one or more exams, sometimes a hands on course or prior certifcation) have been met and verified by Oracle.
When this happens Oracle will send a Certification Success Kit and your Certification will be available on a system called Certview.

Certview can publish to employers only the Certifications you require (Certview does not publish exam results).
Essentially apart from the end of test score report there is no way of doing what you ask.
