Labview locks at startup with the network cable attached

I have an embedded application that is running winXP and Labview 7 Express.  I have my VI running from the startup menu as I have no keyboard, mouse or monitor normally attached.  the application uses TPC to commincate over a wireless network.  When I boot the computer with the network hooked up Labview locks up and a few minutes later the computer shuts down.  If I close Labview from Task Manager and restart the app it works fine.  The TPC part of the application is not running until a toggle switch is activated so the TCP part of the program is not active at start up.
Any help would be appreciated.

Is it possible that Labview is trying to run the application before windows has fully come up?

  • When playing netflix with the HDMI cable attached to my iphone it freezes up??

When I attach my iphone to my TV via an Hdmi cable, it freezes up and stops continually???
    Can I fix this?

You couldn't turn the machine on because it was already on (and therefore warm), although the screen was asleep and refusing to wake properly. When you held down the power button as I had suggested, the machine turned off as it's supposed to do, and when you restarted it, it started normally, as I expected it would.

  • HT1941 trying to connect time  apsule to macbook air with the ethernet cable in the WAN port the airport utility doesn't detect it

trying to connect time  capsule to macbook air with the ethernet cable in the WAN port but the airport utility doesn't detect it but when i put it in the LAN one it does but it doesn't let me configure
    any ideas?

Isn't it fun trying to do things without an ethernet cable direct to the computer.. Apple sell a usb to ethernet adapter cable fairly cheap.. makes life a lot easier having something to do hard connections.. or as hard as usb can manage.
Since you have to access the TC by wireless .. press and hold the reset button on the TC for about 10sec until front led flashes rapidly.. don't worry about the ethernet cable.. leave it disconnected.
Now click on the airport symbol and join another network. The TC should revert to its home name.. which will be a combo of Time Capsule and its MAC address. There is no wireless security and you can do the setup.

  • PC Running LabView Program Looses connection with the FieldPoint FP1600 4.11

If works for a while and looses communication with the PC. I tried to ping the module but it is timing out. If I reset the Power on the modules it starts working again. Any remedy of this problem

I had a similar problem. I checked and tried lots of things. I finally solved it by: 1) moving the FP1600 to a different location and 2) putting a ferrite bead on the network cable. I think it is 2) that solved the problem. These devices are apparently very sensitive to EMI. You can read more about EMI protection in the knowledge base article:
    http://digital.ni.com/public.nsf/3efedde4322fef19862567740067f3cc/2758edc0fb26d27a86256a6b0073b5d4?OpenDocument
Another suggestion was to run the FP1600 with no modules attached to see if the problem was coming from the modules. They could then be added one-by-one to see which one, if any, was causing the problem. The solution might again be EMI protection.

  • I cant figure out why my HTC Droid DNA is no longer recognized by my computer when i hook it up with the USB cable that came with the phone.

I used to be able to just plug in my phone with the USB cable to my Windows 7 computer and browse phone storage with no issues. Now my computer sees it as an android phone but when it tries to automatically install the drivers for my phone on the computer, i get an access denied error message. No option on the phone that i can see that allows me to mount phone as a usb drive. This used to work just fine with nothing more than just hooking up the cable. What gives??

Let's get that access granted again, e_rock_b. The HTC DNA doesn't have a special USB Mass Storage Mode that needs to be turned on. Usually, it's as simple as connecting and browsing http://vz.to/1jktbZD as you mentioned. If your computer is no longer allowing that easy access, try the steps at http://vz.to/1jktvr6.

  • When I plug my phone into my PC with the USB cable an ad starts playing on my PC. How do I stop this?

When I plug my phone into my PC with the USB cable an advertisement starts playing on my PC. The advertisement is for an add-on product called Backup Assistant Plus. How can I stop this?
I read of a work-around to stop this, but it does not meet my needs. The work-around is to change your USB connection option from "mass storage device" to the one of the options about uploading pictures. This would not work for me because I'm connecting the cable so I can access the phone's memory as a mass storage device!
This is a seriously obnoxious problem affecting millions of people. It's a common conversation in bars, and all the iPhone fans are saying--yea, I told you so, stuff from Motorola is junk. I'd recommend that it be fixed as soon as possible!
    Model: Droid Razr
    Android version: 4.0.4

Yes, you can stop it. When you plug in the phone, down in the lower right of your screen, click and pull up the Motorola Device Manager. Do as you please with it.

  • My Mac simply ignores my Iphone when I connect it with the USB cable. WHY? how Can I fix it?

My Mac simply ignores my Iphone when I connect it with the USB cable. WHY? how Can I fix it?
I was able to connect the first time, but after that my computer simply rejects the Iphone and nothing happens. The Iphone doesn't spin or try to reboot even! .
WHAT to do? I got it today.

When you say it ignores your iPhone, do you mean it does not appear in iTunes if you launch iTunes? Or it does not appear in Finder? Or does not appear in iPhoto? Or you get an error message?

    I have a macbook air (mid 2012) and a thunderbolt display (27'').
Do I absolutely need to connect the power supply together with the thunderbolt cable ?
I found that the screen won't wake up if only the thunderbolt connection is plugged. Is this normal ?

I just got my ATD and late 2011 MBP up and running. I've not tried running without the power adapter from the ATD plugged in, but I just tried and didn't have any problems with the display not waking. You may want to take your query to the ATD forum - https://discussions.apple.com/community/peripherals/thunderbolt_display - perhaps someone there has experienced a similar issue.
    Good luck,

    Hello, Toro Silva.
Thank you for visiting Apple Support Communities.
The steps in the section labeled Unable to activate FaceTime or iMessage with phone number and Apple ID after waiting 24 hours (iPhone only) of the article below, should help resolve the issue.  Make sure to create a current backup prior to processing these steps.

  • Hooking up my ipad2 to my tv with the av cable

I've hooked my ipad2 up to my tv with the av cable.  Everything is mirrored and works fine, except for live video feeds.  I get the audio but to video.  Is there a problem?  Or does it just not work for live feeds.

You would need this adapter first....plugs into the mini-DVI port
    http://store.apple.com/us/product/M9319G/A?fnode=MTY1NDA3Ng&mco=MTA4NDU1MTE
....and a length of RCA cable (male to male)...that takes care of the video....
For the audio you need one of these...plugs into the headphone port....
    http://www.amazon.com/3-5mm-Stereo-Male-RCA-Cable/dp/B0002KR1OG
....it is for stereo....from your post your TV only has mono sound....so the red portion of the cable would not be needed.....

  • I can't join a network, because everytime I type in the password, join greys out.  It has a lock sign next to the network name, but I'm not sure how to unlock it.

I can't join a network, because everytime I type in the password, "join" turns grey.  There's a lock sign next to the network name, but I'm not sure how to unlock it.  Can you help me??

The way you "unlock" it is by typing in the correct password. The lock indicates a private network that requires a password. Are you sure you have the correct password? Is this your own home network?
Why don't you reboot your iPad and try to log in again. Hold down on the sleep button until the Apple logo appears on the screen, let go of the button and the iPad will shut off. Turn back on by pressing the sleep button again until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button. See if the iPad will accept your password.
If that doesn't work, you could try tapping the blue arrow next to the network name and then tap Forget This Network. Restart your iPad as described above. Then go back to settings, tap WiFi, select the network and enter the password again and see if it works.

  • Is there problems with the network/signal in TA3 Taunton area

Is there problems with the network/signal in the TA3 Taunton area I have not had a signal all day and then to make contact with one of my children regarding school pick up.

Unfortunately so. Spoke to EE today and the service may take up to 72 hours to get back to normal - which is unbelievable given how much we use our phones for day to day life! As they cannot do anything for us, to thank us for our patience they are asking us to monitor when the service resumes and get back to them (no doubt on their £ per min line) and let them know and they’ll credit us for the down time. Just Brilliant!!
