Labview - paramétrage Assistant DAQ

Bonjour,
Je possède une carte 9401 montée sur un châssis 9172 et je souhaite brancher 2 codeurs en quadratures.
Problème : L'assistant DAQ (dans labview), qui gère les deux codeurs en entrées, paramètre automatiquement le port A et B sur PFI0 et PFI2.
Question 1 : Comment modifier ceci afin de pouvoir exploiter les deux codeurs sur des connexions différentes ?
Question 2 : Quels ports utiliser ? ex : codeur 1 => PFI0 et PFI2 / codeur 2 => PFI? et PFI?
Question 3 : Comment peut-on savoir sur quels pins brancher les codeurs ? Où peut-on trouver une doc technique qui montre sur quels pins de la carte on retrouve PFI0, PFI2, ... provenant du chassis ?

Malheureusement, vous ne pouvez pas faire de synchronisation avec du DAQ assistant. La synchronisation de voies entrée analogique/sortie analogique/Digital IO/compteur nécessite une programmation
plus évoluée que l'assistant DAQ.
De plus, la manière de programmer de la synchro diffère si vous voulez synchroniser des entrées analogiques ou des entrées numériques ou des compteurs.
J'espère que les 2 exemples que je vous envoie aujourd'hui vous parleront. Il s’agit de la synchro de 2 compteurs.
Dans le cas contraire, vous pouvez peut être demandé une formation (vu que vous êtes dans l'enseignement, vous avez des prix réduits)

Once running the labview program which contain DAQ Assistant and can be run without any error before, the message box of "ERROR-50405....." appear which capture down in the attachment. We use PCI6221 and LabVIEW 8.0 in Windows XP. I also found that the Device Manager of Window have recognized the PCI6221.
Any help on this situation would be great.

Hi~
This error is due to signal interference between the device and the computer. This could be environmental or due to the PCI Controller. You can on a different computer to see whether this problem persists.

Je souhaiterai savoir comment acquérir plusieurs voies simultanément sans utiliser l'assistant DAQ afin de pouvoir régler les paramètres (fréquence d'échantillonnage, nbre de points à acquérir, plage d'entrée min et max) sur la face avant lors de l'exécution de mon programme?
De plus je souhaiterai savoir comment faire pour avoir ma courbe stable dans ma fenetre Graph (non déroulante).
D'avance mercie beaucoup pour celui ou celle qui me répondra!

Vous trouverez des exemples plus bas niveau que le DAQ Assistant à l'endroit suivant:
* Ouvrez un VI vide et sélectionnez le Menu Aide >> Recherche d'exemples...
* Sélectionnez la rubrique "E/S Matérielles >> DAQmx >> Mesures analogiques >> Tension"
Ces exemples permettent de faire de l'acquisition finie, continue, point-par-point sur une ou plusieurs voies en réglant les paramètres depuis la face-avant du VI. Pour des applications plus avancées, je vous conseille de vous plonger dans les exemples ci-dessous:

Concernant l'affichage de votre graphe, la meilleure méthode est de désactiver la mise à l'echelle automatique de l'échelle des X et des Y dans les propriétés du graphe.

That is an indication that iPhoto has broken the link/file path to the orignal photo. So make a temporary, backup copy of your library if you don't already have one (Control-click on the library and select Duplicate from the contextual menu) and apply the two fixes below in order as needed:
Fix #1
Launch iPhoto with the Command+Option keys held down and rebuild the library.
Since only one option can be run at a time start with Option #3, followed by #4 and then #1 as needed.
Fix #2
Using iPhoto Library Manager to Rebuild Your iPhoto Library
1 - download iPhoto Library Manager and launch.
2 - click on the Add Library button, navigate to your Home/Pictures folder and select your iPhoto Library folder.
3 - Now that the library is listed in the left hand pane of iPLM, click on your library and go to the File ➙ Rebuild Library menu option.
4 - In the next window name the new library and select the location you want it to be placed.
5 - Click on the Create button.
Note: This creates a new library based on the LIbraryData.xml file in the library and will recover Events, Albums, keywords, titles and comments. However, books, calendars, cards and slideshows will be lost. The original library will be left untouched for further attempts at fixing the problem or in case the rebuilt library is not satisfactory.

How can I make LabView 6.1to detect DAQ NI-USB 6008

I have a LabView version 6.1, recently I bought a new DAQ model NI-USB 6008, I could not use it with my Labview version. Please, how can I adapt my DAQ for version 6.1 or update my LabView to detect my DAQ? Please advise me to a free applicable solutions. Thanks very much

The USB 6008 requires DAQmx which requires LabVIEW 7.0 or greater. The upgrade to 7.x (or the just released 8.0) is not free. The only other solution I've heard of is to use the Call Library Function Node to make your own calls to the DAQmx dll. This would not be for the faint of heart or anyone wishing to come up with a quick solution.

Aide sur l'assistant DAQ

Je viens sur ce forum afin de trouver un moyen d'arriver à extraire correctement mes deux courbes de l'assistant DAQ.
Je m'explique :
Dans mon diagramme, j'ai un assistant DAQ qui acquiert 2 signaux d'entrée.
J'aimerai afficher ces 2 signaux sur 2 graphes déroulant mais quand je passe par des l'outil tableau, je n'obtiens pas ce que je veux.
En pièce jointe, je vous joins mon diagramme et ma face avant.
Comme vous pouvez le voir sur la face avant, le graph 1 montre les entrées brutes.
Les graph 2.1 et 2.2 montre les deux données traitées.
On voit bien que le graph 2.1 ne donne pas les bonnes valeurs puisque la courbe est en traingle alors que les valeurs brutes sont plutôt constantes.
Mes questions sont :
Où est mon erreur ? Dans la conversion des données brutes en tableaux ?
Y-a-t'il un meilleur moyen pour effectuer le traitement de données acquéries par l'assistant DAQ ?

merci d'utiliser les forums de discussion NI.
Il existe une palette de manipulation des signaux dynamiques, qui permet de faire le genre de traitement dont vous avez besoin.
Je vous joins un VI simple (version lanVIEW 2011) pour l'acquisition et l'affichage sur 2 graphes différents.
Le problème avec les VI express est qu'il utilise leur propre type de données appelé données dynamiques. Or transformer ces données en double comme vous l'avez fait, peut conduire à une perte d'information ( http://zone.ni.com/reference/en-XX/help/371361J-01/lvexpress/convert_from_dynamic_data/ ).
N'hésitez pas à poster votre .VI pour que l'on essaie de vous aider!

Problème paramètrage de filtre sur une mesure Labview

Bonjour,
Je souhaite filtrer une mesure provenant d'une entrée analogique AI1 d'une carte NI-USB 6008.
La tâche utilisée (AI-Tâche) est paramétrée sous MAX, pour lire 1k en échantillons continus à une fréquence de 50HZ.
La lecture de la tâche DAQmx se fait ensuite dans une boucle while cadencée à 2Hz.
Lorsque je tente de filtrer la fréquence de 2Hz, correspondant aux bruits, j'obtiens un message d'erreur de type Error 20023 qui me dit que je ne respecte pas le théorème de Shanon.
Pourriez-vous, s'il vous plait, m'indiquer pourquoi cette erreur apparait sachant que je suis normalement dans les conditions de Shanon.
Je vous joins une image de la partie du VI concernant l'acquisition ainsi que mon fichier config exporté depuis MAX.

Au lieu d'utiliser des VI express, utilisez les fonctions de filtre comme "filtre de butterworth", vous aurez la maitrise sur la frequence d'echantillonage.

How can I create software start and stop trigger in LabView using 6023E series DAQ card? I don't want to use the external trigger.

I am using 6023E DAQ card to collect the signals, such as AE, Force, Torque from the machine. I want to collect only some part of signal for example between start triger and stop trigger. I'd like to know how I can creat those triggers in LabView from one of the channels that I am acquiring at the same time. I found one or two library file that is only for start trigger. I know that this is availabe in some of DIAdem functions. Please let me know if you have done some example for this requirement.

If you are wanting to create a software trigger based on an analog input voltage in LabVIEW, there are several options. One suggestion would be to compare the voltage values from one input channel to a number within a loop. If the input voltage crosses that threshold (is greater than the number), have a case statement that will acquire data from the other channels. This would simulate a software start trigger in LabVIEW.

Thanks for the post!
I would recommend looking at the example finder, Help>>Find Examples. There are examples on reading from text file AND software triggered DAQmx tasks with pre-loaded waveforms (i.e. data from text file). I would try and produce some code, and then post it if/when you get stuck.
Otherwise, maybe try asking some more specific questions.

Labview 8 with 4350 DAQ board

I upgraded from LabView 6 to Labview 8. At the same time, I put the old 4350 board into this new WinXP computer.
The board works great in MAX, but LabView can't seem to find it. And can't use all of my old data acquisition VIs.
According to MAX, I have both the mx and legacy versions of NI-DAQ
What else do I need to check? or is all of this in incompatible combination?

Hi Todd,
You probably have an older version of the Traditional NI-DAQ driver. In order to use that hardware in LabVIEW 8, you will have to have the latest version of the traditional NI-DAQ driver - 7.4.1, which you can download here.

I try to install a AT-MIO-16 with Ni-DAQ 6.1 and LabVIEW5.1 under Windows 95. I declared it in "System" after the LabVIEW and Ni-DAQ installation without any problem but it don't appear in "Measurement & Automation". What is the installation procedure to use my AT-MIO-16?

Use LabVIEW FPGA as a DAQ and detect peak

Hi everyone, need your help now.
I want to use Labview to encode a FPGA to achieve following function：
1.Acquire data as a DAQ from a Photodetector
2.then use peak detect VI to measure the peak information
3. some simple mathematical operations
is it possible for me to achive all these only using one FPGA? and is it OK to connect DAQ's output and the input of the peak detect VI?

What is you hardware? cRIO? FlexRIO? And what your signal type? Anolog or digital?
You can refer to the help of Peak detect.vi to comfirm if the data (sigle point integer or integer array ) can be wired directly. I am afraid you can not wire the FPGA IO OUT directly to the Peak detect.vi, but you can create a array for the data and then use the peak detect.vi

Comedi never will be ported to Windows I would assume. Its
architecture is very Unix centric and porting to Windows
would be basically impossible without a complete redesign.

There are two options for you. The NI Measurement Hardware
DDK is supported on both Linux and Windows (and some other
systems too including MacOS X and the NI realtime platforms).
It is the low level and I mean "low level" API you

talking about and is basically the same on all platforms it
supports.
Another option might be to look into UEI as an alternative.
Their hardware has Windows and Linux drivers which I would
assume have the same API.

No, the OpenG library is a LabVIEW VI library to interface
to the Comedi library which handles the low level stuff.
It is possible to write a VI library which might call Comedi
but is for the rest compatible to the NI-DAQ VIs.

How do you track a moving object using Labview and Vision Assistant

I am using Vision and Labview to create a program that tracks and follow a moving object using a high end camera. Basically what it does is it detects a foreign object and locks on to it and follows it where ever it goes in a control sized room.
I have no idea how to do this. Please help. Or is there an available example.

It sounds like you want to look into a Vision technique called Pattern Matching. Using our Vision tools, you can look for a image, called a template, within another image. Vision will scan over the entire image of interest trying to see if there are any matches with the template. It will return the number of matches and their coordinates within the image of interest. You would take a picture of the object and use it as the template to search for. Then, take a picture of the entire room and use pattern matching to determine at what coordinates that template is found in the picture. Doing this multiple times, you can track the movement of the object as it moves throughout the room. If you have a motion system that will have to move the camera for you, it will complicate matters very much, but would still be possible to do. You would have to have a feedback loop that, depending on where the object is located, adjusts the angle of the camera appropriately.
There are a number of different examples a that perform pattern matching. There are three available in the example finder. In LabVIEW, navigate to "Help » Find Examples". On the "Browse" tab, browse according to "Directory Structure". Navigate to "Vision » 2. Functions". There are examples for "Pattern Matching", "Color Pattern Matching", and "Geometric Matching". There are also dozens of pattern matching documents and example programs on our website. From the homepage at www.ni.com, you can search in the top-right corner the entire site for the keywords, "pattern matching".
If you have Vision Assistant, you can use this to set up the pattern matching sequence. When it is complete and customized to your liking, you can convert that into LabVIEW code by navigating to "Tools » Create LabVIEW VI..." This is probably the easiest way to customize any type of vision application in general.
