LabVIEW work with Agilent Signal Studio?

Hi, anyone knows if LabVIEW can work with Agilent Signal Studio Toolkit?
Here some signal have to be generated by this signal studio toolkit instead of signal generator, if using LabVIEW to automate the data processing and test, is there any API or driver available for this?

How to make "visa find resource" working with Agilent device

I am trying to use Agilent 82357B GPIB device with LabVIEW for instrument control.
I have checked:
1.       NI-VISA (ver 5.1.1) is the primary visa by checking visa.dll properties under windows\system32 folder
2.       Enable NIVISATulip.dll in NI Max Explorer
3.       Enable the Agilent libraries to work with NI 488.2 in Agilent IO library (ver 16).
I am able to communicate with the instrument in Max Explorer and talk to the instrument in LabVIEW with VISA write for almost all commands.
But I can NOT make one particular visa function (Visa find resource) working with Agilent 82357B GPIB.
With NI USB GPIB device, the same code above can find attached instruments as below, where GPIB1 is the Agilent device and GPIB0 is the NI device.
I have no clue on how to make “visa find resource” working with Agilent device.

Quick question. Did you also enable 488 support in Agilent?

When trying to work with Agilent 34401A multimeter (serial RS-232 connection), HP34401A Getting Started.vi gives always the message: "Error 1073807369 occurred at Old VISA Open ".

Baud rate and parity are set correctly, RS-232 cable is also connected correctly. My QuickBasic program has no problems to read and write to the Multimeter. It is obviously a software problem: the same error is persistent if I disconnect RS-232 cable.
I downloaded NI-VISA 2.6 for Windows 95/98/NT/ME/2000/XP frorm digital.ni.com and installed it. But it did not help.

What version of Elements will work with Canon Print Studio Pro?

I tried this step but it did not work. I have a Mac YosemiteOS 10.10.1. I copied to plug in files from Canon Print Studio Pro. Open canon utilities, open print studio pro, open CS4 folder and copied files CNPSPP101.plugin and CNPSPP102.plugin (not there is also a folder called CS5 but it has the fame plugin files)
I copy these files and then go to Photoshop Elements 13 and paste these files in Support File folder in Plug - ins and also did in folder Optional Plug-ins.
I then open Photoshop Elements 13 and hit Automation tools but Canon Pro Studio option is not there.
Can you provide more details on where I might be going wrong.
I put in a trial version of Elements 12 and have no problem. I just can't find where to purchase Elements 12 so I do not lose it in 30 days. Know where I can purchase?

iPad 2, Since upgrading to iOS 8.0.2 the cellular signal indicates I do not have a SIM card. Monday spent hours on the phone with Apple support, backed up my iPad, reset all settings, reloaded my iPad and it still tells me I don't have a SIM card. Tuesday went to AT&T and got a new SIM card on the advice of apple support. It worked perfect until this morning and the NO SIM CARD notice reappeared. Never ever had any problem until the upgrade. I find it inexcusable that Apple refuses to address the issues they caused, iOS 8.0.2 is the Ebola of iPad 2 world. I dont have any cellular service after wasting two days trying to address and fix a problem Apple is responsible for. It's obvious Steve Jobs is no longer running the company. Furious & fustrated. How does Apple expect anyone who uses an iPad 2 for work, to remain a customer who will return to their products?

Working with Agilent Infiniium 54830B DSO and Labview: Why is the GPIB device not displayed in MAX?

Hi,
I want to use Labview to access Agilent 54830b scope, but the GPIB device is not shown in Agilent Connection Expert or in Measurement & Automation Explorer (MAX).
In Agilent Connection Expert (Version 16.2.15825.0) the GPIB0 Interface is displayed, but no Instrument is shown. In MAX (Version 4.6.1f,0) it is the same problem. The GPIB0::INTFC is shown under Miscellenous VISA resources, but no Instrument is shown.
I installed the driver for the agilent and tried to get an answer of the GPIB device with an Initialize.vi of Lab View but it is always shown an error.
Can anyone help me?

What? Your instrument has to be connected in order for MAX to find it. So, yes, you need the cable to connect between the instrument and your computer.

Can LabVIEW work with https (not http)?

I have trouble to use LabVIEW 6i to GET response from HTTPS server. It works with HTTP server smoothly. (I changed the port 80 to 443.) Are there any package can work with HTTPS? BTW, I also have LabVIEW 7 and will use that if 7 has the solution.

HTTPS means that the data is encapsulated in some sort of secure
protocol layer such as SSL. You do not want to implement SSL in LabVIEW
I think.
In order to establish a meaningful connection with an HTTPS server you
need to establish a secure context with authentication through
certificates, crypto algorithmes and such. For this you have specific
libraries like OpenSSL and such and you could call them as an external
library. But you can not plug them into the LabVIEW TCP/IP functions to
let
them transparently handle your TCP/IP communication.

Why doesn't my iphone 4 camera work with no signal?

I've noticed recently that my camera on my phone doesn't open when i have little to no reception. All i get is the closed shutter pic. The gyros are working because the little camera and video icons on the bottom turn when i turn my phone. Does anyone else have this issue?

I hate to break it to you but I very highly doubt that it has anything to do with your signal and probably is a problem with the camera application itself it might just be a coincidence that it looks like it has something to do with your signal....

No it doesn't. You will have to get the OPC Server from Automation
Direct (DirectSOFT32) and then use that to communicate with LabVIEW.
It's not terribly difficult. Their are plenty of OPC examples in the
LabVIEW installation.

I need to convert AVCHD to work with Final Cut Studio

I recently purchased a Sony HD camcorder only to discover it records in AVCHD which is not supported by apple FCS.
Also apple is not supported by sony so the software that came with the camera does not work with my Mac Pro.....
Is there any way i can convert AVCHD files on my mac to work with FCS??

This probably doesn't answer your question but I'll chime in.
I have the Sony SR1 camera. I'm not sure if that's the one you have. Anyway, I purchased the Blackmagic Intensity card for $250, now I can capture directly from the camera into whatever codec you want. Well almost. At least you have the option of using Uncompressed, DVCProHD, ProRes etc.
I tried editing AVCHD natively using Vegas, but that's not the way I want to work. I also havent found any decent way of converting the files. It's a huge headache. I'm not sure I'd want to edit AVCHD native anyway. It's pretty processor intensive, and I just don't see much of a difference between the files the camcorder captures, and transcoding them upon capture through the Intensity card.

Working with Agilent 54XX VIs, want to change control style

I'm writing a master control VI for an Agilent 54624A oscilloscope that uses a USB/GPIB connection, using the VI libraries that LabVIEW has. When I create a control for one of the VIs by right-clicking on an input terminal, the master VI drops down one of the ugly-as-sin Classic controls. I tried setting the default control style in my VI through File>>VI Properties, tried the same thing on the Agilent VIs, and I tried using the Replace option in the right-click menu (but it only replaces it with an empty control. I found this VI that kinda works, but it changes everything in my VI, not just the Classic controls, which leaves me right where I started with the controls I don't want changed. Is there a way to directly edit the style of a control, without losing the properties (for example, change a Classic Enum to a System Enum and keep all of its Items)?

Right click Replace shouldn't cause you to lose the elements in your enum.
To solve your problem in the future for new controls created by right click Create on the subVI's, go to the Agilent VI library. Edit each of the VI's there to replace the controls and indicators with the style you want. Controls and indicators are inserted with the style of whatever VI they are being created from no matter what your default settings are for new controls. (It is more like a copy of the subVI's control rather than creating a new control.) Fix the subVI's, and you won't have problems in the future.

Working with agilent solar array simulators

I took a look at these "solar array simulators" on agilents website. It looks like they have a GPIB interface on them. With this and a GPIB card it should be fairly simple to program for this instrument through VISA calls in LabVIEW. Unfortunately I do not think there is a LabVIEW Instrument Driver for that instrument yet. Because of this you will have to read through the manual and find that appropriate commands required to control this instrument through VISA commands. There is a wealth of information on developing your own instrument drivers in LabVIEW on the NI web page at: httP://www.ni.com/idnet

Yes. I have developed several touch panel applications using LabVIEW.
The only thing that you'll need to do is to ensure that all dialogs and
control buttons are large enough for a finger to touch it. Also you may
need to design your own custom dialog message since the LabVIEW function
dialogs aren't quite large enough for touch screen operation. It just takes
a little more screen design and thought.
