Lack of performance on 290X 4G

So I have a MSI R9 290X 4G gaming series and my performance is heavily lacking compared to others on similar setups. I get hardly 1200 points in heaven while someone with a lesser cpu than me and the same GPU and driver (14.4) gets 100 - 200 points more. I also cannot control my fan speed % on any programs including CCC.
http://www.mediafire.com/download/1icn4fyaxxmfa23/Hawaii.rom Here is a link to my bios. I have tried others but they all crash my card when the driver starts up, and this one is much newer than what can be found on the net anyway.
I'm not comfortable handing out the S/N of my GPU.

s/n is 602-v309-06sb140501xxxx
I just tested my card on windows 7 compared to 8.1 and the difference is there. I get a good 100 points more on valley.
This is 1100/1250 on windows 7 13.12 (left) and Windows 8.1 14.4 (right). On windows 7 14.4 preformed 1 fps less or so, and 13.12 performs as bad as 14.4 on 8.1, so I wrote off taking a picture of 13.12 on my 8.1 install.
I am going to reformat my main drive that has windows 8.1 with 8.1 again and see if its just a corruption. If not, I'll be switching to 7. But this does not tell me why my performance is so much lower than another card of the same clocks and similar CPU. These results are still below average.

  • Lack of performance in SELECT-ing XML records

Hello Champs, I am new to XML world. But as a DBA now I'm into the situation to suggest better performance improvement in accessing XML records.
    Problem:
There is a batch job from informatica, fetching records from XML tables(close to 400, one by one) stored in oracle database. All 400 tables just have two columns as described below:
    Name                                         Null?          Type
    RECID                                     NOT NULL VARCHAR2(255)
    XMLRECORD                                            XMLTYPE
Each table has NORMAL index created for it only for VARCHAR2 column:
    CREATE UNIQUE INDEX "username"."Indexname_PK" ON "username"."table_name" ("RECID") PCTFREE 10 INITRANS 2 MAXTRANS 255 NOLOGGING COMPUTE STATISTICS STORAGE(INITIAL 65536 NEXT 1048576 MINEXTENTS 1 MAXEXTENTS 2147483645 PCTINCREASE 0 FREELISTS 1 FREELIST GROUPS 1 BUFFER_POOL DEFAULT) TABLESPACE "tbs_idx" ;
All the table has the CLOB index created for it with below description.
CHUNK PCTVERSION  RETENTION  FREEPOOLS CACHE      IN_ROW    FORMAT          PAR
8192                 14400            YES                           YES         ENDIAN     NEUTRAL          NO
Informatica issues below query on all the table, where it could just fetch only 400rows/sec in average. This takes entire buisness day to complete the batch job for all 400 tables, which gives big problem in production environment.
    SELECT <table_name>.<column_name>.getclobval() FROM  <table_name>;

    Many Thanks for your assistance,

Not sure if you will like it, although it will improve your performance issues considerably, upgrade to Oracle 11.2.0.3 or 11.2.0.4 and be sure that all those XMLTYPE (CLOB) stored columns will be created/recreated with XMLTYPE (SECUREFILE BINARY XML).
One way of making sure that XMLTYPE will be stored via Binary XML Securefile LOB storage is by setting "db_securefile" on database level ( Using Oracle SecureFiles ) to value ALWAYS or FORCE. Binary XML Securefile XMLType content may only be created on ASSM enabled tablespaces...

  • Lack of performance in Final Cut Pro

As I am pretty new to the whole video editing scene on the Mac, I have a performance question for those who are somewhat more familiar with FCS(2).
I have a MBP Core Duo 2Ghz with 2GB of ram and 100GB@7200rpm (around 8GB free), and I am experiencing lags, lots of rendering and framedrops whilst capturing. Is this normal? Am I doing something wrong? I have a bunch of other apps open like iTunes, iCal, Safari and Dreamweaver, however when I use Final Cut the only app that's busy is FC. There's also plenty of (even unused) memory when I look at the activity monitor. How come I still get the message FC encountered dropped frames?
Another thing is playback. A simple speed alteration (for time lapse) gets FC all frustrated; it will only run smoothly when I render it first. It will play, but not hold a constant framerate. I find this strange, because if FC is protesting with this simple procedure, I don't even wanna know what it does once some filters are applied. Besides, a friend of mine with Premiere Pro and a single core processor can in fact run the time lapse at full framerate. No problems at all.
So my question is: is this kind of poor performance normal on a machine as described earlier? Or am I doing something wrong here?
If it's really not that special, I'd rather use Premiere Pro than FCS. Unless someone can give me a reason why PP can do the same thing, but then smoothly on an inferior machine.

First off, if you keep comparing programs and platforms hoping one will work like the other you will never be happy and may as well go back to Premiere right away.
That being said, there is the right and recommended way to do these things and then there is the way that works for you.
Some people claim to be able to edit just fine with a USB2 drive connection, what they are editing and how hard it's pushing the drive I don't know, I just know that I can't afford the problems and therefore don't do it.
Some people use their system drive as a scratch drive and get along fine. I've done this myself in a pinch and it's worked well enough, but again, I don't make it a habit because I want to avoid problems that are easy to avoid.
Some people have no issues when looping a deck or camera through the FW drive in order to capture. I've tried it and it's hit and miss. Depends somewhat on the deck or camera you use. Canon seems to have more issues in this regard than others. But again, a $50.00 card can eliminate the problem altogether so the decision is an easy one for me... get the card.
The point is, you can spend time trying these various methods, or you can do it the recommended way from the start, but wanting it to work in a certain way because that's the way something else works is not going to get you editing.

  • Steady lack of performance during ownership.

Since my last post (http://discussions.apple.com/thread.jspa?threadID=992709) the performance of my Macbook Pro has gotten worse.
Besides the problem mentioned before, general graphical performance of my mac during random computergames and other graphic-dependent software, the performance of my computer is really not matching its hardware specifications to the best of my experience.
Furthermore, when doing small tasks, like typing in a text field, as in an IM-window or even this formfield right here, after just a few characters, the system slows down and lets me type letters alot faster than they will actually appear on screen.
Even more, interacting with games such as World of Warcraft together with communication software like Ventrilo, constantly screws up the system audio of my machine. Microphone in- and output is distorted to earpiercing noise, and leaves my system hanging for great periods of time, and even sometimes crashes it in kernel panics.
These kernel panics, though, seem to be caused by the game software and not the hardware, since I have heard from many people suffering from these crashes. But the rest of the issues described here is not something that people with similar systems has experienced, which is why it has lead me to believe that something has been malformed in my hardware.
To make a long story short - going from being able to multitask tons of heavy software at a top-notch performance, my mac is reduced to a shadow of what it once was, and I have treated it with great care.
A supporter from the Mac-division of Blizzard entertainment suggested after a long talk that my machine could have sustained damage from overheating at some point, causing this trouble, and I should have my computer examined by Apple.
Since there is a fee involved with having Apple look at my computer, should the error not be hardware, I would like to know if someone could suggest me to check some settings in the system profiler that could verify or unverify that something is wrong at the hardware, and what I should do if Apple should check it out.
PS: I have tried almost every "tweak" that is suggested to increase performance. Bottom line is that I have not altered much of my system between the amazing performance and the horrible performance.
    Thanks in advance, Kspr

As an update I tried installing Windows XP on boot camp, to see if there would be any change in performance.
After having partitioned the drive for about 1 minute, my machine had a complete kernel panic crash.
Having lost 15GB in thin air, I recovered it by booting to disk mode and doing a "repair disk".
Recovered the lost size, and tried again. Kernel Panic once again. Repeated it just to be sure a third time, kernel panic again.
I'm positive somethinge's very wrong. Any thoughts on this?

  • Lack of performance using portal30.wwctx_api.get_user to limitrecords in portlets

    Hi,
I have a portal page using 5 reports as portlets each of them use
    "where personid = portal30.wwctx_api.get_user"
to limit the amout of data retrieve for each user.
I have 250 users registred in login server whose can use this page.
The 5 portlets fall in timeout every time, except if I replace "portal30.wwctx_api.get_user" by a constant,
which is not very useful but works.
Any idea to avoid usage of this API.

    Hi,
Instead of using the api in the query, use a bind variable and then customize the report to pick up the value from the api. Here is an example
    1) Create a sql report
    select * from usertab
    where user_id = :userid
    2) Publish this report on a page
    3) Now edit the page and go to the edit defaults of the report.
    4) You will have a textbox against userid. Here you enter #<portalschema>.wwctx_api.get_user
Please replace the portalschema with the name of your portal schema.
    Thanks,

  • Performance issue with Oracle data source

    Hi all,
I've a rather strange problem that I'm stuck on need some assistance on.
I have a rules file which drags data in via an SQL data source thats an Oracle server. If I cut/paste the 3 sections of "select" "from" and "where" into SQL-Developer and run the query, it takes less than 1 second to complete. When I run the "load data" with this rule file or even use the "Retrieve" with the rules file edit, it takes up to an hour to complete/retrieve the data.
The table in question being used has millions of rows and I'm using one of the indexed fields to retrieve the data. It's as if the Essbase/Rule file is ognoring the index, or I have a config issue with the ODBC settings on the server that is causing the problem.
ODBC.INI file entry for the Oracle server as follows (changed any sensitive info to xxx or 999).

    Thanks in advance

One other thing that I've seen is that if your Oracle data source and Essbase server are in different geographic locations, you can get some delay when it retrieves data over the WAN. I guess there is some handshaking going on when passing the data from Oracle to Essbase (either by record or groups of records) that is slowed WAY down over the WAN.
Our solution to this was remove teh query out of the load rule, run it via SQL+ on a command line at the geographic location where the Oracle database is, then ftp the resulting file to where the Essbase server is.
With upwards of 6 million records being retrieved, it took around 4 hours in the load rule, but running the query via command line took 10 minutes, then the ftp took less than 5.

  • Macbook screen cracked, HD and performance issues

I am definitely disappointed with my computer.
I have a Macbook 13.3" 2.4Ghz Intel Core 2 Duo 4Gb 160Gb HD, Serial#: W8**VM0P5, and within 1,5 year I have faced many issues, which are related here:
    September 24th, 2008
    O.S. CRASHES
I bought it in late September 2008, in Cologne, Germany, at the reseller "Compustore PC Gmbh", and also asked 4Gb Ram, and a Wireless mighty mouse.
After changing the Ram memory, i went home; and a few days later, the problems came. Sometimes, the system crashed suddenly, showing the grey screen: "You must restart your computer". I thought it was normal, and continued to use, when it became more frequently (Picture: http://picasaweb.google.com/gstorck/MacbookProblems#5476986272817173138). It was little strange for a new laptop, and then I took it back to the store to fix it. The seller just took a look, changed some configurations, and gave me back again. I did this twice, and had to get back to the store for the third time, due to new crashes and some lack of performance. Then the seller replaced the Ram memory, with new 4Gb.
After that, the system worked more stable; the problem happened some two or three times after some months, but it was ok.

    HD Problems
One year later, in late 2009, I purchased a Mac OS update, the Snow Leopard. I was back to Brazil, where I live till today. During the OS installation, something went wrong and it couldn't be completed. Mac asked me to restart the computer, but then the system didn't start anymore; some files were corrupted. I guess there was not enough space to install the update, so it was not completed; but it should be no reason to the corruption of the OS.
    November 10th, 2009
I took my computer to the local Apple technical support, the "Omni Informatica", in Curitiba, PR, Brazil, to format the HD and reinstall the Snow Leopard. As I needed more space, I also changed my original 160Gb HD for a new 250Gb Western Digital HD. The service was finished in Nov 17th.
I noticed also little cracks in the laptop case, but I had no time to insist with the bad local technical support to repair it (I know Apple already acknowledged this problem.) They said, at first, that they would have to ask the Apple USA to send the body, or something like that.

    SCREEN CRACKED
The reinstallation was ok, and the laptop was running well. Suddenly, when I take the Macbook from the case and open it on my desk, something pretty wrong appears: a large crack on the lower right corner of the screen.
It was not dropped, it was not crashed, and I did not "close it with a pen inside".
The screen simply cracked. And as so many similar problems with another users I could easily find on the web, I really expect Apple to admit it as a Manufacture's fault. The local technical support said it is no other thing except I hit the laptop, or dropped it, so it's all my fault. (See Picture 3)
The only thing they can offer me is to repair the screen for R$1200. I am definitely not going to pay for this; a "normal" and good pc laptop costs this price (And a new basic macbook costs today R$2400).
If the problems were just it, it would be not so bad.

    HD FAILURE
After 1 month, on Feb 11th, my new 250Gb HD simply stopped working. Different from the first time, that the HD was just corrupted, this time it has really broken, it died. I had it all backed up, but I have lost the HD.
Back again to the technical assistance, they said to me the problem was the same that cracked my screen: my fault, on letting the laptop fall, or hitting it with some kind of pressure. They couldn't do anything, and even the Western Digital 3-month Warranty would not cover this type of problem ("user's misuse").

    DECREASE IN PERFORMANCE
I'm working again with the original 160Gb HD (formatted and reinstalled), and some other external drives to store my files.
It's been quite difficult to deal with all this Data and Screen problems, and now the Macbook's performance is decreasing every day. It's been slower to process operations and to launch the applications. Sometimes, the system does not even sleep anymore when the laptop is closed, or it takes so long time to sleep that it just sleeps when I open it again. Besides, sometimes the mouse pointer disappear, and some bizarre graphics take its place.
Don't forget: It's a 1,5-year-old Macbook, with 2.4GHz, 4Gb RAM and the O.S. is installed for no longer than 4 months. It is supposed to work better, I guess.
I saved a lot of money to buy a good computer, and to get rid of the endless issues I had with PCs. That issues never were so serious with the ones I face now with Macbook.
Even if I pay R$1200 to replace the screen, with the money I don't have, I would still stand these performance issues, which seem to have come with this problematical laptop. I hope to have some solution from Apple, if it want to deliver what it promises and want to keep a customer.
Otherwise, I will have to change to another system platform and another computer manufacturer, to see if I stop throwing money away with these devices. I think that maybe at least, the cost-benefit ratio will be higher.
Did anybody receive contact from Apple support about these screen problems?
    Guilherme R. Storck
    Apple user since 2008

Well, your first issue is pretty clearly just some bad RAM, and it sounds like even the replacement RAM was bad. Who knows if the people who put it in had any kind of clue what they were doing. I've seen repair shops where people are smoking in the same room they do repairs.
Second problem sounds typical of a failing HDD. It's a fairly common problem with laptops... Apple, Dell, Lenovo, HP, Acer... Probably the single most common problem with laptops no matter who makes them. People get this notion in their heads that the "portable" aspect of laptops means you can pick them up and carry them all over while turned on. Which you can... If you don't mind dramatically shortening the life of the HDD. What "portable" REALLY means with laptops, is that they are easy to move if you put them into a powered down state. They should NEVER be moved around when in normal operation. And since you seem to do a bit of traveling, if you're on a plan, and there's turbulence, you should shut the laptop off until it smooths out.
The screen cracking could have something to do with the rather sudden change in climate. Germany isn't exactly the frozen tundra, but it is a pretty different climate from Brazil, and changes in things like humidity could cause problems. The laws of thermodynamics tell us that things expand as they heat up, so if there's already a crack somewhere, it could easily get worse as a result of increased heat.
And since your initial hard drive was already starting to fail, it hasn't magically stopped failing since being removed from the system, so obviously performance is going to get worse.
At this point, it's pretty much impossible to tell where the damage was done, so you're probably just out of luck. The people in Germany could have screwed something up, or the people in Brazil, it could have been environmental damage, and it's possible the defect was always there, it just didn't manifest until recently. There's just no way to tell for sure. So Apple is unlikely to do anything for you.

  • Frustration with lack of support for Flash Player on IPad. When is Apple going to support Flash?

When is Apple going to support Flash Player on IPad?
The majority of sites that have multimedia content rely on Flash. Safari users are missing out on tons and tons of content that depends on Flash.  I have and love my IPad 2. I should be able to use this awesome thing to get at anything I need to on the Internet. Yet when I need to access Flash sites, I am forced back to my windows PC.
Please Apple Make it happen! I'm tired of being ragged by android users on this. You need to fix it.

    Flash is a dieing technology.
Really it's not seeming that way.
In fact, since the iPad release, and Steve Jobs famously declairing the death of Flash, Flash useage has increased.
Check it out 95.75% of all internet connected devices have the Flash Player.
    http://www.statowl.com/flash.php
(the mac only has 12% share, it must be totally doomed then)
IOS Apps are now made using Adobe Flash
    http://thenextweb.com/apple/2011/09/09/the-best-selling-ipad-app-on-the-app-stor e-was-created-with-adobe-flash/
And so are Android, Blackberry etc.
And HTML5 was supposed to be Apple's answer to all the missing content, yet here, 3 years later, HTML5 is no where to be seen, and lacks support/performance to compete with Flash.
    http://getmoai.com/images/banners/mobilegaming-html5-vs-alternatives-011112-moai .jpg
Just look at how when you step outside the reality distortion field, things look much different. Look at HTML5 performance compared to Flash.... wasn't HTML5 supposed to outperform and save us from dead batteries? Well even 3 years after Steve Jobs claims it's still using 5x more resources than Flash.
This demo shows 16,250 sprites animating at 60fps using the Flash player, something HTML5 can't even do with less than 100 sprites.
    http://www.bytearray.org/?p=4074
HTML5 is a joke, Flash is real, and is providing real content to real people right now. If you as an Apple owner believe the ownership of an IOS device is worth this loss, then more power to you.

  • Options to control display performance of CLOBs, etc. in Query Result view?

Whenever I attempt to query a table that contains LOBs (e.g. a CLOB or XMLTYPE), the lack of performance pretty much makes the "Query Result" view (from F9) unusable. Any time I attempt to scroll the results, SQL developer apparently continues to query the database for the additional characters to populate the view.
Resizing the columns containing the LOB to only a few characters almost solves the issue. Unfortunately, the size of the columns showing the LOBs apparently attempt to resize to the length of the LOB, making the column several pages long - and the same performance issue prevents resizing it smaller.
Ideally, there would be some way to resize a column to a given or even a predefined and small size, without having to drag the resize handle the entire width of the desired resize amount. Alternatively, there could be a user preference to never set default column widths above a given number of pixels or characters. Another option would be a user preference to disable the in-line display of LOB contents, displaying only and requiring a click on the "..." (or pencil icon) button to open the "View Value" dialog. Ideally, all 3 of these options could be implemented.
One crude work-around I'm using for now is to exclude the LOB columns from the results, requiring me to make secondary queries to see the LOB contents when necessary, and doesn't allow for scrolling through and viewing the LOB contents at all. Another work-around is to run the query as a script (F5) instead of a query (F9), and view the results in the "Script Output" view instead.
I'm currently using SQL Developer 2.1.0.63, but experienced this same issue with all previous versions, including 1.5.5.
    Thanks!

    I agree.
When I requested to auto-width the columns, I said to build in a maximum, but apparently they didn't.
I suggest you log 2 feature requests on the SQL Developer Exchange; 1 for the maximum width, 1 for the CLOB contents/performance. Like this others can vote too and add weight for future implementation (I will).
    Have fun,
    K.

  • Inner Join with For All Entries - Performance ?

I am using following the following <b>Select using Inner join with For All Entries in.</b>

If i am not doing inner join then I will have to do 2 select with for all entries in on ekkn and ekbe tables and then compare them.
<b>I want to know which one has better performance
Inner join with for all entries in

An Inner Join with for all entries should be done if you add this....
    IF NOT gi_sales[] IS INITIAL.
    SELECT k~ebeln k~ebelp k~vbeln k~vbelp
FROM ekkn AS k INNER JOIN ekbe AS b ON k~ebeln = b~ebeln

    AND k~vbeln EQ gi_sales-vbeln
    AND k~vbelp EQ gi_sales-posnr
    AND b~budat EQ p_date.
    ENDIF.
Also, while you use an index or the complete key for the SELECT, your not going to suffer from lack of performance -;)

    Hi,
I can probably nail the wallpaper problem down to bad preference file for the 'desktop picture' as it is known on the MacOS. Bin the file "com.apple.desktop.plist" which is found in your User folder: [hard disk root]/Users/[your User folder name]/Library/Preferences/
As for the slowdown/lack of performance, it could be due to either the application itself is inherently slow with underpowered Macs (see app's minimum specs). Or, if your Mac is up to the task performance wise, it may to do with lack of System volume's hard disk space, which will effect the virtual memory file which MacOS X uses all the time if you don't have enough real memory available. Max'ing out your RAM for the Mac will boost performance on any app that requires loads of memory.

  • Please help!!! Poor performance Neo2...can't figure out why!!

    Hi people,
I have worked on this issue for days!!  I cannot figure it out!  Here is the problem:
I used to have a Soltek AND Asus A8V mobo (both via chipsets), and scored approx 12,890 in 3dmark03 and 5,100 in 3dmark05, respectively ON BOTH BOARDS!
I have swapped out these boards with the msi neo 2 (latest revison) w/ bios 1.4.  I have the SAME other equipment as shown in my signature.
    I only get approx 9,800 in 3dmark03 and 3,889 in 3dmark 05.  Roughly a 2,000/1,000 point lower difference respectively.
I cannot for the life of me figure out why. I have thought about this for days and searched this and many other forums to no avail.
I have installed the latest nforce 6.14 driver and the forceware 67.02.  I have tried other drivers as well, using driver cleaner between installs.  Still no go.
Bios is set at optimized default.  AGP fast writes disabled.  AGP Aperature size 256.  The 6800gt is oc'ed to 400/1100.  No oc on mobo.
I also did a search and found a review of this board w/ a 3dmark03 bench using the same video card as mine that shows a mark of 15,500 @ resolution 640x480.
So I tried the same test @ resolution 640x480 and scored 2,000 less marks.
I just don't understand this.  Can someone please help and try to shed some light on this for me.  I am SO perplexed about this!!

Why are you not using the  Soltek or Asus A8V anymore?
i have almost the same machine as you and i to am very disappointed with the performance of my setup.
I have also tried other drivers and  installing differecnt OS's (win2k, winXPsp1, winXPsp2), which did not seem to help.  although drivers did make my benchmarks vary depending on dirver and OS.
I was just about to buy either the soltek 939 pin board or the asus A8V, to see if i can solve my performane issues.
the only other board that looks really good is the gigabyte GA-K8NSNXP-939, but this board also has an nforce3 chipset and i am begining to think that the nforce3 chipset sux.
The only other explanation for the lack of performance or perceived lack of performance is that we are running 64bit CPUs under a 32bit environment  and therefore using only half the power of these CPU's.

  • AIR for iOS: Severe performance drop using "high resolution" published app on retina iPhone

I have created a very simple test app the simply draws a line from the previous to the current mouse/touch position after MOUSE_MOVE is detected. I published the app, stage size 320x480, in both "standard" and "high" resolution using AIR for iOS and added each to two different iPhones, iPhone 3GS and iPhone 4S. I published again, stage size 640x960 in standard and high resolution and placed on both phones.
    320x640 Flash stage size
    - standard resolution on iPhone 3GS: works as expected, no hitches.
    - high resolution on iPhone 3GS: works as expected
    - standard resolution on iPhone 4S: works as expected
    - high resolution on iPhone 4S: hangs occasionally and predictably for a half second or so once 20-30 points have been added to the drawing. Of the 4 tests at 320x640 this is the only one that displays at high res.
    640x960 Flash stage size
Everything was the same as above. The only test here that diplayed at high res was the high res publish on the iphone 4s as expected. Which showed the same poor performace as above.
Perhaps this has something to do with the upscaled application trying to keep track of mouse position but I'm stumped. Any ideas?

I create an app for kids that draws using MOUSE_MOVE, KidFunKit. It's a retina display high-res app, using AIR 2.6 I got performing issues, after I couple of lines were drawn. Using AIR 3.0, it works nice. Obviously if your frame rate is 60 ... you'll expect lack of performance. You may try Starling Framework based on STAGE3D if you want the most of AS3.

  • CS5 64bit on Win7 delaying and no good performance with Intous4.

    Hi.
I've got Win7 64bit with Photoshop 64bit as well 4GB RAM (1800MHz) , i ve got Intous 4 which works perfectly in GIMP, but unfortunaltely there is really lack of performance in Photoshop. Fast drawing is impossible, trying to draw a circle with one quick move results with more square than a circle. Amazingly GIMP works perfectly, so i can not say, that i move my pen too fast... I tried to change scratch disks from system to dedicated one and vice versa  (got 2 and one of them is  set for photoshop 7200RPM), tried to change set up with OpenGL settings (GTS 220 graphics with 1024DDR3) with no any result.
It is really weird that gimp works perfectly (it is rather 32bit) and something that should be so fast is a ... you know what;)
    Any ideas?
    Thanks for viewing:)

Nice to solve this by myself shortly. The solution for me was to set up OpenGL settings to BASIC.
Now i am home and drink a cup of cofee with Pablo Picasso
