Lack of record of Photoshop product registration

My records indicate that I registered the Adobe Photoshop Elements on November 30, 2007  under my email address of Mbaltzer @ austin.rr.com and received unlock code (removed), but when I visited Adobe.com today the website reflected that I had no products registered at all.  Perhaps there is some confusion because at one time I also had an account at email address Oma_78745 @ yahoo.com.  Would you please refer this information through to the proper channels to resolve this issue. Thank you very much for your help in this matter. (Mbaltzer @ austin.rr.com)  Personal info removed.

Hello, Gabby, you might hot realize that you posted your personal information (that I removed) on a public forum for all to see, this is not an internal support channel to Adobe.
It is a community forum, for users to Help each others. And to make things easier, they are separated by product; and elements is not the same forum than Photoshop.
If you want to contact Adobe, here is some contact info You can find in any search engine: http://www.adobe.com/company/contact.html

Sorry, but this is the Audition forum.  You'd probably have better luck in the Photoshop forum.

  • Product Registration Pop

I have a pop up reminder on the PC for the first time today to "register product and enjoy a host of benefits" - how can I get rid of it please - I've already registered and I thought it would be as simple as deleting the product registration link from the start menu. Now I can't close this popup manually or through task manager and hitting OK runs through the registration details pages (it already has my details on it) even if I go through the process and click register it takes me back to the F***ing pop up. Very frustrated - please help.Message Edited by Tony966 on 07-28-200708:45 AM

Glad to find this question raised on your forum, since am having the same problem. I am using Windows VISTA and your "fix" does not match what I see on my screen. I have no "run" option on the start menu? Is the sequence different for Vista? Thanks,Mof
It's hidden by default. To get it visible
. Right click on the Start button, and click Properties.
    2. From the Taskbar and Start Menu Properties dialog, click Customize.
    3. Scroll down through the list until you shall find Run command. Check the box next to it.
    4. Click OK.

  • Product Registration program h

Ok just recently the product registration module has been poping up on startup with a message"Gentle reminder: Register your Creative products now to enjoy a host of benefits" I hit the OK button and another window pops up saying "The product registration program is currently detecting you Creative product(s). This may take a few seconds. Please wait... Sound Blaster X-Fi"? It does nothing at this point but just sit there and take up space on my window and eat up about 3.5MB of memory. I have tried stopping the program in the task manager and it just auto restarts. I looked for it in the Uninstall program area and do not see it not sure which if it is in there program it is need help getting rid of this pest.

If you don't want to see this again. Go to program files, either using Windows Explorer or double click the computer icon on the desktop, locate the creative directory and delete the product registration directory, then delete?the registration?icon in the creative?group and?the icon on the desktop.
?This always worked for me. :smileytongue:Message Edited by freesky on 04-0-200702:03 PM

  • Product Registration doesn't accept the Serial Number of my Time Capsule

    Hi,
I've bought a Time Capsule 500GB a couple of months ago (at Apple Store - Fort Lauderdale) and several times I've tried to register it's Serial Number at Apple's Product Registration website. I always get the same error when I type the SN: "We could not recognize the serial number you entered. Please re-enter it, making sure each letter or number is correct."
The problem is that I've checked the SN several times (physically at the bottom o TC and via AirPort Utility) and the SN is CORRECT.
Have anyone faced this problem before?

I just had this problem today. I received my TC for Christmas and my parents bought it a week before the holiday from my local apple store (Norfolk, VA). I have been having other problems with my TC and wanted to get online support, that's when I first discovered the problem with the SN. I attempted to register it online with my already existing apple ID and it still didn't work. I finally called tech support. I didn't tell the guy I was having problems registering it with the SN, he typed it into his computer and didn't say anything. After attempting to trouble shoot my other problem I told him about the issue with the SN. He did say that when he put in my current SN that it brought up a message saying that there was "no support" for my TC. I had read that there is complimentary phone support for a certain amount of time for Mac computers and iPhones, but I guess there is not for the TC (what BS!!). Either that or he kept saying that my parents must have "bought it early." I didn't ask this, but I should have, if that meant that there was no warranty on it?? But anyhoo, long story short (sorry for rambling) because he put in my SN and my existing information it automatically registered everything and when I logged back onto apple.com and went to get online support (because the problem wasn't fixed) my TC was now listed as my registered products. You may just have to call like I did. I have no clue why though??

  • Proof of Product Registration

I'm trying to purchase Safeware insurance for my macbook. I called them up and they said all I needed is proof of product registration for my macbook. This macbook was a gift so I do not have the original receipt. I asked if I could simply print out my warranty status from Apple's website, they said no, I need some sort of proof of registration. I already registered my macbook, and received a confirmation, but the confirmation doesn't have any unique serials, not even my name or address, so I do not think this is going to fly with Safeware insurance. How do I get proof of product registration?

    Welcome to Apple Discussions.
I would recommend calling back and speaking to someone else at your insurance company and explaining the situation. Another possible solution is if the gift is recent you can ask the "giver" for a gift receipt that they can get from the seller they bought it from.
You can also contact Apple directly and pose your question, we're users just like you so in this case I think going right to the horse's mouth (Apple) you have a very legitimate question.
    Regards,
    Roger

  • Apple Product Registration

I just tried to register my Macbook and Time Capsule online.
When it got the end of the process it said it would like to offer me one of two 'gifts' for registering my products, I think it was a few issues of MacWorld and some other magazine. 'No thanks', I thought, 'I don't need anything delivered to my home, killing trees and all that, plus getting plugged into that whole magazine list trading world.
Anyways, I don't think they give you a chance to say no, they only give you a chance to select one of two magazines. I panicked at that point and started to his the back page button and regretted trying to register my products. I've got receipts anyways, and I've signed up with AppleCare and they seem to have the serial number of my mac when I call for support so maybe the product registration process is a red herring anyways just to get you to pick between to Apple magazines.
Am I wrong? Was there a way to opt out of getting one of two magazines when you register your products? If there isn't that was the first time dealing with Mac was unpleasant and greasy. If there is a way, never mind.
    Cheers

In my case, I chose the MacWorld magazine, and somewhere along the registration process it said that I could choose a digital subscription in which no magazine would be delivered to my door. However, if you did not fill out any of the forms for information after clicking one of those subscriptions, it won't get delivered to your door.

  • Apple product registration/ apple iPad 2 accessories

How to register Apple accessories like IPad dock, iPad camera connection kit?
As u know, the product inside comes with a paper tht states 1 year warranty!
But when I go to apple product registration page to register my products, I couldn find the names of those apple accessories!
I could only find products like iPad 2, apple tv when browse thru the list!
I bought so many apple accessories but yet I couldn register a single of it!
    Please help!

But then, if my apple accessories is spoiled in the future, how am I suppose going to make a claim?
If u didn't register, how they know u bought the product is still within the 1 year?
Other ppl can simply just say that he bought it recently but in fact, his is over 1 year already!
And if really spoiled before the 1 year, how to make a claim?

  • Can I transfer a license or find out the current status of the product registration.

    Hi,
I purchased your software as part of a business, I was wondering how I would either transfer the product registration, or at least find out the status of the registration. I have several different products - LabVIEW, TestStand and some other misc. discs.
    Thank you

  • 1) "Care Pack" product registration page error 2) Driver download page error - links don't work

I cannot register my printer because the page has "Care Pack" product registration page has errors:
    https://register.hp.com/americas/flowPage/registration/index.do?execution=e1s1
I fill in all the information and click the blue "Submit Query" button, and nothing happens except 3 silver "Submit Query" buttons appear below where it says, "Search results" "Select the product that you want to register." But there are no results! And why 3 buttons if no results?
Cookies and scripts are enabled. I did that and refreshed the page before I entered anything, so nothing is getting rejected.
It seems the website has a lot of problems...the download links on the driver page wouldn't work either, so I had to get them from a 3rd party. I am lucky to find a reliable site! (The driver was official and the printer finally installed correctly, which it couldn't even find if I let Windows search online!)

  • How do you do action recording in Photoshop Elements like you can in regular photoshop?

How do you do action recording in Photoshop Elements like you can in regular photoshop?
One of my clients is a club promoter and they would like to put their logo on the bottom left of their photos from their events. Usually I can do this by opening the logo (which has like 50% opacity), copying the logo, recording an action set, pasting the logo i copied to memory into the photo, resize the photo and export and close the photo, save the action set and then just batch- automate and choose all currently opened images to run the action on.
*I mentioned the 50% opacity because I want to put the logo on the photos but not totally hide what's underneath the logo.
How do I do the same with photoshop elements?
    -Line

Just another option that may work for you there are a number of relatively cheap and a couple of freeware programs that are listed here, there are many others I am sure.

I have not used any of these so I can not recommend of course but most have trial versions.

  • Is "Adobe Premiere Elements 9" a Photoshop product?

When I bought my DELL it came with two programs. "Adobe Photoshop Elements 9" and "Adobe Premiere Elements 9"
First, is the Premiere program a Photoshop product? It does not have Photoshop in the title.
Second, should I have both installed in my pc at the same time? How do I know which one to use?

Thank you for that quick reply.
Now, can anyone tell me why, when I try to install the Photoshop Elements 9 on my Windows 7 computer it turns all my desktop icons into Photoshop icons,, and even though I click on the space that we always Goggle Chrome, a Photoshop window opens?
