Lacking range bars

When I am under a metal roof, I cannot make or receive calls on my Blackberry 9810 but several friends with Iphones have no problem making and receiving calls. Someone said there is a device that extends the bars when placed inside the Blackberry near the battery. Can anyone help with this problem?

If I understand correctly, you want to set the label to be displayed in the middle of bar series. To achieve this goal, we can use the BarLabelStyle property. For more details, please see:
Right-click the bar series, and then select ‘Show Data Labels'.
Click the bar series to open Property grid window.
Expand CustomAttributes node, then change the property of BarLabelStyle to ‘Center’.

Stacked Bar chart mouseover options

I am using the stacked bar chart. When mousing over the bars, it currently displays the totals on the very top of the bar. Is there a way to make the total display inside (or at the bottom) of the bar?

By default, the bar value will not overlapping each other in stacked bar chart, and we cannot increase or decrease the gap between the series in Reporting Services.
Based on my research, I find a workaround can achieve your requirement, please refer to the steps below:
Create a dataset with the query below (sample data):
CREATE TABLE #temp(name nvarchar(50),time nvarchar(50),value int)
INSERT INTO #temp VALUES ('Invoiced','YEAR',100),('Invoiced','MONTH',200),('Budget','MONTH',300),('Budget','YEAR',600)
SELECT * FROM #temp
Insert time field to Category Groups pane, and change the group name to “time”.
Insert value field to Values pane, then change the value to like below:

Stacked bar chart errors

I am creating a stacked bar chart and put a max row count of 50, but the graph actually shows more than 50. After the 50 data points, all of the rest of the dates along the x axis are out of order. Is there another location i also need to enforce this max row count?

Stacked Bar chart does not overlap series

I have a stacked bar chart with to values "Invoiced" and "Budget" and 2 categories YEAR and MONTH - the problem is that the bar chart shows the values Invoiced and Budget in Top of each other and Not overlapping each other . ex:
NOW: Invoiced = 200 Budget = 300 - Bar chart shows a column of 500 for the month (NOT correct)
What I want is to show 1 column for each month where up to 200 the colour is green and from 200 to 300 the colour is blue for example....
How to achieve this ?

Y Error Bars

So for my biology class i have to graph a great deal of statistic based ecology stuff. Doing these graphs is very easy, but since it is statistically based, I have to do "Y Error Bars" which means the actual Y value could be between the "Y Error Bar." Im pretty sure numbers doesn't have this feature, but I am hoping I just missed it, so if anyone could help, it would be great appreciated!
And, this is off subject, but in anyones opinion is iworks or is microsoft office 2008 for mac better. I thought iworks was great, but lately I'm having a lot of trouble, and I'm trying to decide if it would be work it to buy microsoft office 2008, anyways any help would be greatly appreciated, thank!

To date, Numbers fails to provide a feature allowing one to insert custom error bars. This is a major failure.
As an Apple fan, I would love to move from Microsoft Office to iWork. However, to date, both Pages and Numbers are lightweight programs lacking sufficient functionality to use for scientific applications. As an academic physician/scientist, I am quite disappointed.
Pages fails due to its lack of integration with EndNote, which is, for me, a critical reference manager program. This is a shame, because I enjoy some of the excellent formating options that Pages offers.
Numbers fails due to its inability to use custom Y error bars, as you have noted. Scientific graphs lacking error bars are, of course, quite useless. Here the shame is that graphs generated on Numbers are much more attractive and just as easy to format. Also, Apple is really losing an opportunity, since MS Office '08 is really buggy on OS 10.5.
Scientists and students need to put serious pressure on Apple to fix these features. Otherwise, we will simply abandon the suite for MS Office, and no real innovation will take place.

Af:table range navigation

Hi, i'm facing a problem...i'm using seperate af:selectRangeChoiceBar for range navigation. But sometimes the rangebar behaves wrongly, like in safari, if i slecet the range from option list, range is changing and suddenly again server trip is happening, and restoring previous range position, means calling "RangeChangeEvent" twice and sometimes by clicking next button , its jumping one range going to the range after that , like 1-10 of 100 then when clicking next going to 31-40 of 100. its happening in IE also...i have seen if i use table default range bar the first error still i'm getting in safari in somesituation. what may be the problem.the possibilities...pls help.

Turns out, I had forgotten that I had indeed used a rangeChangeListener, and this is in fact related to the bug when a table is displayed in Safari or Chrome, which both use the WebKit rendering engine to display web pages. I've now got a demo project with this stripped down to it's bare essentials. By the way this is ADF Faces on 10.1.3.4, not 11g, though it is possible that the problem is in Trinidad's table component too.
It contains:
A Model project with one read-only ADF BC View Object based on the ALL_OBJECTS dictionary view, and one Application Module referencing the VO. You can use practically any database connection - I'm using SCOTT/TIGER.
A ViewController project with one jspx page, allObjects.jspx, that has an af:table component referencing the above VO. There is a single backing bean for this page which only contains one method - a rangeChangeListener. This simply does System.out.println to show the old and new ranges.
Run the page with Firefox or Internet Explorer, and you will see almost the expected behavior - if I use the drop down range selection control to jump from the first set of rows to a set in the middle, say 91-100, I see:
Range Changed from 0-10 to 90-99.
I say "almost" the expected behavior, because I would have expected to see the starting range from 0-9 - which is what is on the screen with a zero based index.
But if you do the same thing from Safari, you get:
Range Changed from 0-10 to 90-99.
Range Changed from 90-99 to 0-9.
And that is exactly what you see on the screen - it briefly flashes with the selected range - 91-100, then returns to the original range 1-10.
In this example, after the first range change, Safari behaves correctly, but in my actual application my rangeChangeListener manipulates the ranges, so it does it every time. Changing the range with the "Previous" and "Next" links always works correctly.
Change the af:table component so that it doesn't reference the rangeChangeListener, and the page works correctly in all browsers.

Fixing the range of data series axis of analytical chart

According to your description, you want to the height of horizontal bars to be fixed in the Range bar chart when the number of values in category groups change.
In Reporting Services, when creating a chart, the width and height of the chart is fixed. Height of horizontal bars is a percentage based on height of the chart, so when the number of values in category groups increases, the height of horizontal bars
decreases. To fix this issue, we need to dynamically increase the height of the chart. Please refer to the following steps:
In design mode, click and select the chart area.
In properties window, in chart section, click the button at right of DynamicHight.
In Expression text box, we can dynamically change chart height according to parameter. Type the expression and preview the chart to see if the height of the horizontal bars is appropriate.

Hi, I create a range chart and on my axis I have the task and for the values I have starttime with top value starttime and bottom value endtime. It works, but I only see the first row for process file task it 8:00 - 8:15 and for export file its 9:00
- 9:15. I want to plot all the rows for task. Any suggestions?

According to your description, you want to plot all rows in a range chart.
In your scenario, you could create a range bar chart. Then specify the Top value as starttime and Bottom value as endtime. Then set the Minimums, Maximums, Intervals and Interval Types for Horizontal Axis Properties. Please refer to screenshots below:

Are you sure you want to use setOnScroll to listen to scroll events rather than set the value of the scroll bar position via the tableView.scrollTo api (which I would recommend) or the scrollBar.setValue() api?

X-Fi Extreme Mu

What has happened to support(esp in Vista) for the drivers for the X-Fi Xtreme Music card. When I look for drivers in the downloads section there is no mention of the Xtreme Music card anymore. This is not an old card. Whats going on Creative. BTW this is a retail card bought on launch day in Peats of Parnell St and I am well aware of the Beta drivers that cover a multitude of cards. Yeah, the XtremeMusic is in a different section to the rest of the cards (although most of the other cards are in both sections). It's a bit annoying. Still, the card is identical to the rest of the range bar the XtremeGamer (it just doesn't have the I/O box thing and it lacks the XRAM of the higher versions), so the drivers are uni'versal across them all.

To change the colour of a section, but leave the rest as it is

Is this possible? I need to change a colour of a moving object, but keep everything else as it is, are there any ways of doing this on FCP? If advice is in colour, please give detailed instructions as I have it, but am yet to use it.

It's interesting to see this post this morning, as I have just this minute been trying to resolve this issue. I'm also a beginner with Color.
1) The essence of the capability is the 'keying' of chroma. You can pick a point (with the eye-dropper in secondaries) and the computer will select every point that has the same chroma values (digital values which represent Blue, Red, Green, and the Luma (black and white)). You can pick several points, and all chromas that you choose will be selected as singular a range. To the top right of the secondaries screen, the chroma value (values) you selected are displayed on range bars. You can then readjust the range using the bars. The eye-dropper gives you a rough estimate of the chroma you want to select, but the range bars help you hone-in on the precise chroma range you are seeking to change. Each chroma bar has three different adjustable values...the middle white line which can be moved left and right, and two other lines which effect the range of hue and saturation.
2) Once the chroma is 'keyed' (selected), you can change it as it appears throughout the shot you are working on. You can change the hue (the color itself) or the saturation (the intensity). You can open another secondaries tab to do this process again for another color.
3) Masking in the geometries tab is where you choose only part of the image to apply your corrections. You can choose to key and correct 'outside' of the selected shape or 'inside' the selected shape.
Those are the important details which I found under-emphasized in the instruction links that the real editors on this forum have posted in recent threads.

Try again over cellular
and i dont have a wifi connection.
but i have 2g connection in my number.
on the top of iphone there is an "E" beside the range bars. obvioulsy might be Edge.
When im selecting Try again over cellular then its showing could not activate.:(

Way to trim precomp to current layer time?

I've got an animation pretty much done as far as timing goes and everything. Now I'm going back and editing some things that require adding a few layers to add some things to the current layer that already is trimmed appropriately to the correct time.
Anyone know of a script or something that will create a composition from a layer using the length of the layer's in and out point instead of the whole comp time?
Right now I'm opening the precomp, hitting "i" "b" "o" "n", then right clicking on the comp range bar, choosing trim to comp time. Then I go back to the main comp, move the time back to where the layer previously started and hitting "["
So it all goes by pretty quick, but I consistently have to do that like 20 times. And no, it isn't completely necessary, but if I have to give the file to someone else it makes it Much easier to see what's going on if they can see the actual length of a layer. If you leave it at default it appears the layer is needed for the entire composition.
So, is there a way to script that or something? I usually just need to do something like add some text, simulate a graphic display, or create some fake animated depth of field or something like that. I don't like to add more than one layer per action in the main comp, so if more is needed then i usually precompose it as to not have more than a hundred layers or so for the bulk of the comp.

I'll go ahead and remove the one that you just mentioned.
The usual way that we cull dead items from the Exchange is to read the comments that people leave on the items in the Exchange. We don't know what to fix if you don't tell us what's broken. Keep in mind that the Exchange is a place for user-submitted content. If a user doesn't maintain their entry, there's not a lot that we can do other than take the entry down.
