Laerner want to know xi landscape in realtime environment
Hi,
Normally XI server will be in some place and we will work from a remote place through logon pad. suppose I want to work on file-xi-jdbc like scenario. So to upload the file into xi, is it necessary that file should always be on xi server or even we can upload the same from our local machine ??
Could you please tell me in real time how the xi installation will be done and how the users will connect to xi. How the user will tackle the scenarios like above ??

Still I have some confusions. First I will summarize my understanding and based on that plz correct me if I am worng !!
1. Even though application and DB servers are present at client place and even if your are working with presentation server (place is different from client) then also you can use NFS. I mean in this case also to upload files you can put them in your local machine ifself and no need to put them at clients place system. No need of using FTP server in this case.
2. the need of FTP arises only when the files to be uploaded are there somewhere else other than the presentation server system.
3. Request and responses are always through presentation server only. It means even XI got to deliver the file it always puts the file on the local machine on which presentation server is present.

Look no further. A recent study from Framingham, Mass.-based research firm IDC predicts the market for MDM will reach $10.4 billion by 2009, a compound annual growth rate of 13.8%.
Compliance will drive much of this investment as organizations strive to create and maintain a single view of products, customers, accounts or locations, according to Henry Morris, group vice president and general manager for IDC's integration, development and application strategies research.
Regulations like Basel II and the Sarbanes-Oxley Act are forcing companies to rationalize their disparate data systems. Companies are also realizing that to get the full value out of their CRM and supply chain systems they need to bring all their siloed data together.
The MDM market is a mixture of older technologies -- such as product information management, customer data integration (CDI) and financial consolidation -- and the emergence of MDM infrastructure software, which is built to support any and all types of data. There probably is, but it requires that you be able to use punctuation and write in sentences so that we can understand exactly what you want.
You can block others from using your Apple ID by changing your password. There is no way to erase what was already downloaded on to someone else's device, for obvious reasons, -
Sent my iphone in for repair. want to know if anything has been done?
basically, i sent my iphone 4 running iOS 7 to repair my broken, cracked screen. i went to update my apps on my phone and it came up with the mans email with his apple ID. i then changed this back to mine but i was curious as to why he had his apple ID on there. I should also add that when i got the phone from him most apps were missing so i backed it up after i got home (which redownloaded all my apps) but they still needed updating. Ive fixed the problem now just want to know if he tampered with anything on my phone (why would his apple ID be on there).

For some reason all of the music on my iPhone is no longer on my iTunes account. I have done a down load and quite a bit of it has been added to the itunes account, but there is still quite a bit of music that is still not on the iTunes that I have on my phone. All of the music I have was either put on itunes initially by a CD or I bought it from iTunes directly. I want to know how I can make them match.
Yes there is. Those songs are not actually on your iPad. They are in iCloud ready for download if you choose to do so. If you want to remove them go to Settings>iTunes & App Store>Show All>Music>Off. You can also do this in Settings>Music>Show All Music>Off.

It sounds as if you had a device that was jailbroken/hacked to operate on your carrier. Upon updating the iOS, it is now locked back to the original carrier the device was locked to.
Only the carrier the device is locked to can authorize an unlock. You will need to make contact with that carrier and see if they provide unlocking services, and if they do, if you qualify for an unlock. Otherwise, you are out of luck. One that carrier can take care of the unlocking. -
The print server that I want to connect allows me to choose among 2 usb printers and 01 serail port printer. It needs to be connected to a router through a lan port. Given that the all new airport express now come with a wan and a lan port, i want to know if I can connect this device to the airport express.

Beware that while USB print servers are commonly available and inexpensive, finding one with a serial port is more of a challenge. Apple Stores in the US do not sell them. Call the iStore before going there.

Okay so I set up my Time Capsule already and is now backing up 2 of my iMacs. Works great. What I want to know is how to use the TC to directly store files? I want to do this to delete some files on iMac 20inch but still have them on the TC for future reference..eg some movies on iTunes. I want to directly save them on the drive so I can delete them from iTunes and gain some storage. (Ps on iMac 20 inch (it's almost full - 320 GB) when I enter time machine, a tab comes up on finder which reads "Time Machine backups" it's able to be ejected like a disc or a connected device. On the iMac 20 inch, I dragged some files onto there as if using it like a hard drive. Is this the correct method? Then I went to my 27inch iMac and saw the "Time Machine Backups" hoping to see the files I dragged from the 20inch iMac. But the files were not there except a folder that said "Backups.backupdb". Can someone help me?
It's not a good idea to use a network disk for both Time Machine backups and other things. By design Time Machine will eventually consume all the space on its output disk, which will then cause problem for your other files. I'd store those other files on an external disk connected to the Time Capsule. The problem with that is that Time Machine will only back up files that are local to your Mac. That means that you'll only have one copy of the files on or attached to your Time Capsule.

I've noticed that in the new version of Firefox that you cannot save multiple tabs at one time like the previous Firefox 3.6.or so and I wanted to know if I can find that feature again?
In the previous versions of Firefox when you went to you Bookmarks menu it gave you the options to either Bookmark This Page 'command' + 'D', Subscribe to this Page, Bookmark All Tabs 'up-arrow-key' + 'command' + 'D', and Organize Bookmarks 'up-arrow-key' + 'command' + 'B' however in the newest version of Firefox there is no Bookmark All Tabs so you can bookmark all the tabs that you have up in one window at a time. So I need to know if it is possible that the feature is now in a different place, is gone altogether, or if you can get that feature another way?
For me personally and my work I go through hundreds of web pages a day and save around half of those so it is imperative that I be able to bookmark more then one tab at a time because I can't be bothered to bookmark every single page separately and then go through hundreds of tabs in my Unsorted bookmarks in order to sort those bookmarks. It is simple inconvenient to sort every bookmark individually that is why the previous version of Firefox with the Bookmark All Tabs button was superior in its convenience.Right click any tab and choose "Bookmark All Tabs".

It is not clear to me what your issue is with not being able to sign in to your Adobe account to find the serial number. You should still be able to sign in and find your serial number if you registered the software.
