Laggy video on Chrome.

Since the 11.4 update everytime i go to watch a video on any stream site i get laggy videos in full screen is there any update? I am running google chrome. And yes i have tried the turning enhanced thing off.

Laggy video after adding title...

So, I completed a mini wedding movie with sound effects and titles. However, when playing back the movie, the video footage with titles become very laggy. It seems like it's a bit choppy... Video footage with only added audio/sound effects seem to run smooth... Why is this? and is there a fix for this?

Just for an update, I just went ahead and exported the movie anyways... Guess what? It runs very smooth on QT and iTunes. I even burned a DVD and played on a regular DVD player, and it is also very smooth. So, I guess just because you have a laggy video in the iMovie preview, doesn't necessarily mean that it'll be like that after exporting... I am very happy!

Why is Flash Player playing a previously loaded video behind Chrome?

Every time I play a Flash Player based video in Chrome, in the background (not visible) it loads a video I played just before updating the Flash Player in Safari. It seems to be stuck in the cache, I've tried clearing the cache in Chrome but it hasn't helped.
Anyone else experienced this and have a fix?

I've never seen this reported before. Are you seeing or just hearing this other video? Is a new tab/window being shown in Chrome or is Safari being launched? Flash's cache should have been cleared when you reset Chrome's but just in case please try the steps in this FAQ:

Laggy video on Google Chrome, other browsers

I have a MacBook Pro, purchased new direct from Apple in July of 2010. It's running Mac OS X 10.6.8 Snow Lepard, has the 2.4 GHz Core 2 Duo processor and 4 GB of DDR3 memory.
Over the past few months, video playback on both Google Chrome and Safari (as well as on Firefox although I rarely use that browser) causes the browser to get laggy and the video begins to stutter. Once that happens the video begins to break up and every time it stutters, cursor movement stops and goes as well. I mainly use Google Chrome and this is the behavoir I notice when it happens while using Chrome. It almost always happens when viewing videos on YouTube and generally happens while watching videos on most websites.
I've attempted to turn off the built-in Flash pluggin in Chrome and that didn't work. I also tried uninstalling and reinstalling Flash but that hasn't seemed to do anything either. I've also freed up disk space but that didn't do anything. I've also tried clearing the cache while on Chrome and Safari and neither helped with that. I guess I'm just not sure what the next course of action should be.

Flash Player won't play videos in Chrome

Hello,
I installed FlashPlayer 17.0 and when I load a video, I get a black screen (a right-click shows "animation not loaded"). I submitted a bug in the database but it hasn't been checked. My graphic card drivers are up to date and I precise that I could watch Flash Player videos before. What could be the cause of this?

Cannot play Flash video in Chrome 64bit

I cannot play Flash videos in Facebook when I upgraded my Google Chrome on Windows 8.1 to the latest 64bit v.37 and Flash player to v.15 . The error message was "Can't load plug-in". I enabled Flash players in the plugin section, reinstall Chrome. Nothing worked until I "downgraded" my Google Chrome to 32bit. Any help is appreciated. Thank you.

Rebooted Windows and it is working. Note to self : It is good to reboot the system after a few weeks.

[solved] Laggy Video

I don't understand why video is lagging again. It went away when I installed intel-dri a month or so ago. But after a full system upgrade it's all laggy again. According to pacman intel-dri & xf86-video-ati & ati-dri are all installed. What could the problem be? I'm on a older ibm thinkpad, it's not built for heavy duty graphics but low quality youtube videos should not be lagging either.

Well in the past the Thinkpad has played 720p films fine in VLC. I usually do 320p for youtube just cuz bandwidth does not exceed 64kb/s here and I don't see that much of a difference. It did not lag in the past month or so, am wondering why it's lagging now all of a sudden. The gfx card is Radeon Mobility M7 LW AKA Radeon Mobility 7500 according to lspci | grep VGA. Using openbox, X-ORG without custom configs, Vesa drivers installed (forgot to mention that before). Youtube videos are all in flash right? I have adobe flash installed. Can Mplayer really handle that format well? What about VLC? hmm. Still I don't see what's wrong. In the past when the video was laggy all I had to do was install intel-dri and all of a sudden problem was solved. It's still installed so I'm scratching my head.

Satellite Pro P105 - Laggy videos and slow Vista

Lately my PC is bein very laggy whenever I watch a video and sometimes particularly slow switching from a window to another.
I have got a NFORCE GE 7900, 2mb ram and T7200 intel core2 DUO, I ran antivirus and anti spyware.
Everything seems fine but I can't possibly watch a video (I tried both Windows video player and DVX) and sometime even other applications are getting slower and slower.
Everything was working fine untill 4 days ago.

Maybe there are too many background processes. Try to stop all useless processes. When everything was OK at the beginning check all installed stuff. I believe some added application make HDD busy and result is slow Vista.

Bizarre issues with Premiere CS5.5 and CS6 (Laggy video and random resizing)

Hey, I've searched all over the internet and no one seems to have the same problem as me. What happens is I will "render entire work area" in CS6 but the video playback is still laggy. I never had this problem in CS5.5, and that was running off a pretty old system. I recently upgraded to an SSD and now have a Core i7 processor with 16GB of RAM. This should not be happening. So as an experiment I put the same footage into CS5.5 and had no lag issues, but now for some reason the videos get resized every time I render. I can get them back to their original size by making them 101%, but then I need to re-render. What can I do to fix these problems?
Adittional info: I have used multiple clips and codecs, always get the same problem.

Youtube keeps playing the same video in chrome

Hi,
When i hit backspace or go to the main page in youtube while watching a video, it just keeps playing it. It only occurs in chrome and i've disabled flash so it's not that. did anyone experience something like this?

I confirm your observation that iRadio plays the same tracks far too often and when it plays songs from my Library, one is blessed to hear commercials as a bonus. Thus far, my expectations of iRadio has not been met, having to go back to Pandora which has their act together. Nothing ventured, nothing lost. Pandora app for iPad and iPhone also works well with Airport Express and Ford Sync.

Can play video on chrome but not on firefox?

Hi, I am having some problems with video playback on my windows xp laptop. I am trying to watch a tv series that I believe is a shockwave based video. I can watch it fine on chrome (though it stalls a lot), but on firefox, all I can see is the "ocean clip" (you know, the one with the birds diving down to catch fish, and the whales and all that, i believe it is some sort of demo video for shockwave).
At first I thought it was because windows xp is too old of an os. However, I have no problems seeing the video using firefox on another machine that also runs windows xp. I have tried updating flash player and shockwave player to the newest version, and disable adblock to no avails. I am really baffled and hope for your assistance. Audio Laggy, Video fine

When I try and play a movie with Quicktime the audio is laggy but the video plays fine. Has anyone else had this problem and maybe found a solution to it?

DVD Video Test---Chroma

I am using Image Card and Labview& Vison *Vison builder to devlop the video test from DVD PAL output. Now i have a question. Pls see the attachment.I am analyzing the Chroma. I want to canculate the components of R,G,B in the chroma picture, That means i want to get the coordiates for the turning point in the Red color profile,Green color profile,Blue color profile.Also i want to get the max Y value for the RGB color. But i cann't find the VI to canculate the turning point? Could u give me some suggestion? Example best!!

I don't have time to write your code for you, but I can explain a little more.
From your line profile, you should be able to generate a series of X and Y values. X is position and Y is intensity. Split this array in half, and use curve fitting to generate a straight line through the points. A min-max fit would actually be better than a least squares, but that is more difficult to program. Once you have an equation for each half, you should be able to solve for the intersection point and also evaluate each endpoint.
Another interesting way to do it would be to use non-linear Lev-Mar fitting. You could write an equation that has four unknowns - the Y coordinates at the beginning and end, and the X and Y coordinates in the middle. You c
ould supply some good guesses to begin with, and it would iterate until the best fit was found. Take a look at the Lev-Mar vi supplied with LabVIEW. It would also give you a good idea of how much deviation there is from the straight line fit.

Compressor Outputs Laggy Video. Help?

Okay, so I've got a video (approximately 4 minutes in length) that was recorded in 1080i. I'm trying to export via compressor, using the standard mp4 preset.
Upon exporting, my video quality is pretty poor (looks like interlacing issues), and gets laggy, mostly (but not always) around any fades or keyframing. The lag offsets the video from the audio, and the video never accelerates to resynchronize. The video ends once the audio finishes, but the images have only made it through the first 3.5 minutes.
Ideas?

try playing it on another machine. We don't have quite enough informtion, but I see you're on a G5. MP4 h.264 is rather math intensive. Sometimes the G5s have a rough time with it. You may not have enough ram to help it along
