Landline rotary phone does not work in my house.

I have a sort of antique rotary landline phone. It did work perfectly well until I got Xfinity phone service. I can receive calls but not make them. All other types of phones work fine. Also the phone works fine elsewhere. I had a Comcast technician in to tell me there must be something wrong with phone but there is not. What's wrong?

I got a reply saying that rotary phones are not compatible with Xfinity voice service and that a device which converts dial pulses to tones could be purchased. However, my mother has the same Xfinity services in her home and my rotary phone works perfectly there. Please advise.

How do I close programs with IOS 7? The old way of closing programs by double tapping on the button, holding down an icon until it started shaking and a red X appears does not work. Every program I opened appears. Turning on and off the phone does nopt work.

I just found out. Above the icon is a copy of the open page of the program(s). You slide the pages up to close.

we moved our phone we need help because it does not work when we reconnect... Comcast phone call disconnected twice from my cell phone. And now it rings busy - phone number 800-934-6489 and 800-266-2278. We called again from another cell phone and are not being connected to an agent after 3 minutes.

raadga Emails are important! Let's get your Comcast account working again. Go to the email account then select the menu for settings. If "sync only over wifi" is on then uncheck the box. If this is not an option, then you would want to delete and readd the email account to the phone. Please keep us posted.

Not only does the phone not work, they want me to drive over to their local store and have the sim replaced. Just bought the phone a month ago.
Furthermore, even though the phone can not receive or make calls, Verizon states that after the past 7 hours with the new phone number, we have made .001 gig in data on their system even though the phone is set to wi-fi only. Verizon also shows 213 minutes used in the past 7 hours.
What kind iof a Clip Joint is Verizon operating?

Updated now phone does not work

Updated yestrerday now 4S Iphone will not work. Unable to restore all the screen shows is a black background Itunes logo and the white plug pointing at the Itunes logo. Called everyone no one has helped me at all.

That means you'll need to plug your phone into your computer with iTunes since your phone is in recovery mode. You will need to restore it from your last backup once the phone finishes updating.

After that I connect my Iphone 4 to the computer for syncronization the phone does not working and it is not possible to connect to i-tunes . On the screen on Iphone it is just an apple and a small frame benite the apple

Drivers are up to date, everything is connected right running my 5. (7. would be up but of my creative speakers is defecti've ) my friend has the same set up and his mic was put into line 2, I get no sound through that, only line /mic and my mic is ALWAYS on (feed back and such). I use Ventrillio for games and this just doesn't work they way it's set up now, I hear things twice and I can't even adjust the volume normaly, I have to turn the knob on the external box.

I have the same problem. The microphone input is not working. I have Windows Xp all the driver up to date and nothing. Dell has sent me a new board has we thought it was an hardware problem but it still not working. Actually I have to use the microphone input of the soud board included in the motherboard.

try unpluging and plugging your speaker 7 times with 3 seconds between each unplug. if that doesnt work reboot your device. if that doesnt work restore your phone... however before doing this make sure the headphones acualloy work using a notebook or another iphone.

In the search feature of the phone, when typing a first name or last name, why does the search start with the letter A? For example, I type ME and the first name that pops up is Cecil. Cecil is in my contact list but not what I am searching for.

I believe when using the search feature, it searches more fields than just the first and last name. See if Cecil has something in his contact card that contains MA, such as an address, company name, etc. Otherwise, I generally do not find any problems using search.

I have an iphone 4S and it has been doing crazy things like typing on its own. IT's like someone is shadowing my phone. Also, the left side of the phone keys get frozen, any suggestions or help would be greatly appreciated. More than likely a failing display. You can try restoring it to see if that helps, but you'll probably have to have the phone replaced. make an appointment at the genius bar.

HT4623 Phone does not work after update

After update 6.1.4 phone cannot find signal to function even though wireless works. Cannot reload update...says it's up to date. Reboot nothing, Reset, nothing. Really beginning to dislike this piece of junk. Just need a phone that works.

Remove sim and insert it again.
Did you restore form backup or restore as new?
