Landscape not in fullscreen

Ciao,
my iphone doesn't show photos in fullscreen when is in landscape mode (black bars on the right and left side).
The same rotated photos are perfectly in fullscreen when the iphone is in vertical position!
Someone can help me?

If a photo taken in portrait mode is turned sideways (landscape), you will have a black bar on each side rather than stretching the picture to fit the screen.

I would assume, landscape will only show up if you turn your iPhone sideways, the same way it works in all default iPhone app with a landscape keyboard.
As for turning landscape off, I highly doubt they'll include that.

MozCancelFullScreen() not working and firefox not exiting fullscreen even though this function was called on document

I have a container which gets into full screen mode using mozRequestFullScreen() API but I want to get back to non-fullscreen mode after one of my custom event is fired.
As soon as my custom event is fired, I call mozCancelFullScreen() API to exit full screen but this seems to be not working. Firefox is not exiting fullscreen even though this function was called on document.
I have to press "Esc" to get into non-fullscreen mode.
I am uding Firefox 21.0 version.

IMovie to fotogallery exported videos not in fullscreen

Hi all,
I have modified a 720p mp4 video with iMovie on my iPad2. The source-video i used was a HD mp4 file directly imported with a SD card. Now if i export the in iMovie modified video to my fotos/videos on the iPad, it is not displayed fullscreen ... It is in 4:3 format, but with a wide black frame around it, even if i used the highest possible quality! There is no quick solution i could find to display it fullscreen, except zooming with multitouch manually ... Why this? Is there a better way?

Hmm, this 4:3 from the GoPro seems strange for me too, perhaps they were cut during the import from the SD-card? But i was not complaining, because the files were displayed fullscreen without black borders, before i edited them with iMovie.
My guess is, that iMovie took this 4:3 video, and put it into its 16:9 pattern -> black borders left and right. After that it exports it as 16:9 -> black borders on top and bottom. And - tadaaa! - a black frame is around it.
What seems strange too for me, is that i cant make 16:9 videos in the foto-folder (the folder where pictures are placed when you take them with for example your iPad) displayed fullscreen with doubletapping. Or otherones, taken on an iPhone, and transferred via a dropbox-app. It simply does not work.

Different font colors in landscape not possible - SERIOUSLY??

Hi Ive just been checking my portrait versions of a textbook and wow... there seems NO way to have different font colors in portrait and landscape??
Thats totally insane. I'll explain why...
IN landscape you can (and should) have full bleed photos and text on top which needs to be an approrpiate colour to stand out against the background image. You can even be a good boy and create a new style to keep things tidy. So far so good.
THEN you go into Portrait edit mode and find the text (now white) has vanished on the *COMPULSORY* (lets not forget) white background for the portrait mode. SO OK , you create a new style for that body text set it to black and carry on right? Nope. It forces the same style on the same text back in landscape which then is black <sigh> and so your're screwed again...
Conclusion? We must ONLY ever use black text EVER in Landscape and Portrait? If I'm right we have a major design inconsistency - and add to that a further inconsistency that the section templates CAN be edited in Landscape mode but 'though shalt not edit the section pages in Portrait' uhmmm.. okayyy.. why?
I'm sure I have this wrong. *Please* tell me I have this wrong.... or let me have a workaround.
P.S. has anyone else found about a dozen bugs in iBA 1.1?
P.P.S. I'm aware I can disable portrait - Dont want to thanks ;-) . Its half the books viewing options.

I hav become a familar rapoteur on these bugs (sorry design inconsistencies) on the report page - is there a list (official or unofficial) where we can see which bugs others have reported to save us pulling our hair out for hours?
I will say that for years I reported loads of bugs for Final Cut 7 etc (as Apple is short of a few bucks and needs free debugging) - and look what happened to FCP

SolMan ChaRM - System landscape not ready yet

Hi all,
We are configuring ChaRM for an implementation use, therefore all the systems are not set up yet.
Is it possible in SolMan to define logical component without "real" systems ?
We saw that in STMS it was possible to create virtual systems, but how do we link these virtual systems to SolMan ChaRM ?
Is it possible to define a virtual system landscape and to build and configure ChaRM scenario with this ?

Yes, it is possible to define a development system and virtual systems (Q- and P-System).
Via transaction SMSY you can describe the planned Q- and P-System at first as 'virtual'.
Create transport routes with transport buffers as you would do for existing systems.
Define the buffers as they should be named in future.
For experimental purposes we connected our IDES-System to our development SolMan system.
In this environment we could map such a ChaRM-configuration.
In the meantime we practiced it in our production SolMan system, too.

Printing in landscape not working on networked printer

<p>One of our reports that we send to a networked printer, will only print the document in portrait format. We need to have this printing in Ladscape and have not been able to figure out why this one report is not printing in that format, where the other ones are. Is there a setting or syntax that needs to be implemented in the crystal report in order to correct this problem. Thanks.</p>

If my understanding is correct, all reports except one print correctly in landscape.Â If this is the case, then the one report probably has a strange setting in it.Â Compare its print settings and page settings to one of the successful reports (option by option) to make sure they are the same.
If that doesn't show a difference, try exporting the report to RPT format and then setting up the page setting on the new report.Â (This will act like a brand new report but with all of your work intact).Â You get a clean slate at the report options.Â Maybe that is all you need.
Just a thought or two.Â :)

Projects only display single row when not in fullscreen

Hi
I've just updated to 3.4.5 an coincidentally used fullscreen for the first time so I'm not certain which action has caused this.
After exiting fullscreen, my Projects(and thumnails in the browser) no longer display in a grid but as a single row that dissapears off the right side of the scrren and cannot be scrolled.
Additionall the thumnail size slider and other controls that should be in the bottom right have dissapeared
Fullscreen still works fine both in projects view and browser.
I was wondering if anyone else has experienced similar behavior or can point me in the right direction.
Things trie so far:
Check other libraries (all the same)
Repair Library (no difference)
Rebuild Library (No Difference)

This may be a problem of an unreadable Aperture preferences file:
Try the following:
Remove the Aperture's user preferences from the User Library as described here:

Note:
Your User Library is hidden by default in 10.7.5 - to open it in a Finder window use the "Go" menu from the Finder's main menu bar.
Quit Aperture, if it is running. Log off and on again.
Open the user library by using the Finder's "Go > Go to Folder" menu and hold down the options-key, until "Library" appears in the drop down menu. Select it.
In the widow that will open, scroll down to "Preferences"
From the "Preferences" folder remove "com.apple.Aperture.plist".
Then try to launch Aperture again.
But deleting the "Preferences" file will cause Aperture to forget the preferences settings. Be prepared to have to reset all options you set using the Aperture Preferences panel.

Deleting Landscapes not in Use

Am trying to delete a system landscape created/configured in the past and not in use any more, as the target system got deleted, and we have a new target system in place, to be used with the old source system.
When trying to delete, it says,
Object EP2_100_EX1_200 is already in use and cannot be deleted.. What do I do to delete this.
Note: I know we created a project and that project is using this landscape,. also the package,.
So, need to delete the package associated with this project and then delete the project and then delete the landscape.
Can someone help to resolve the above case.

Didn't hear back from you.
Also, I recently realized that deleting the project by deactivating the package also deactivated the RFC connections and now, when the basis is trying to set the RFC connections to a new target system, with the old source, its throwing error message.
Wondering if there is a fix for this.

Accelerometer Problems - Landscape not working

Hello,
I am running an iphone 3g with 3.0.1. My problem is that my accelerometer works perfectly fine for apps. However, when I turn the phone to try put mail, safari, sms, or any other app into landscape mode, it won't work. I've had this problem for a couple months but before it would stop working for a short amount of time, and ten start again. It has not worked for over a week now.
Anyone know what the problem is?
P.S. When I say it works perfectly fine for apps I mean that for games such as Doodle Jump, Cube Runner, and others, I can control the game perfectly.

CMD+Tab between apps does not bring fullscreen window into focus.

I just upgraded to Mountain Lion from Snow Leopard and now I can't tab between fullscreen apps and regular screened apps.
Let me clarify then that my Cmd-Tab function itself still works (the toolbar for whatever application I switch to appears at the top) but the window itself does not slide back into view (fullscreen apps).
I can tab from fullscreen apps TO regular screen apps and the regular screen (and application) slides into view. But when I tab back into a fullscreen app, only the toolbar changes. The screen itself does NOT slide back into view.
Another noteworthy observation is that I CAN tab between two fullscreen applications. The toolbar and window both slide into view like normal.
So the problem ONLY presents itself when I try to switch from regular screen to fullscreen apps. I already restarted numerous times and also repaired disk permissions twice.
I'm running ML 10.8.2 on a Mid 2010 15" Macbook Pro (2.66 GHz i7 with 4GB RAM).

By the way, this interacts with the "order front" bug described here in a nasty way. Fortunately, suggest it is fixed in Mountain Lion.

Landscape not working in Office programs

We have 2 users with Windows 7 and cannot print landscape in Excel or Word (have not tried any other programs landscape) we have printed these to other printers and they work fine. I have tried the steps of previous post about choose option print direct to printer and that was marked therefore did not help.

Hi , I see that you are experiencing issues printing in landscape using Word and Excel. Although HP doesn't support Word Software, I am happy to be able to help you as best I can. Try another application to see if you have the same results. This way we will know if it is a driver issue or the application. Make sure you are selecting the landscape option in the print driver and check the print preview to see if it is showing the document in landscape. Printing only first page landscape not portrait

Acrobat Standard for Windows v.8
When using Acrobat to print any PDF document, the first page is printed in landscape instead of portrait, the rest of the pages print as expected. This is reproduceable behavior on a single machine. Printing the PDF using other applications like InDesign or eCopy Desktop print as expected. Only Acrobat is exhibiting this behavior.
Acrobat has been reapired, uninstalled and reinstalled, printer drivers reinstalled with no success. The work around I have figured out (as a temporary solution so the user can print documents properly) is to select to print the PDF in landscape orientation in the print driver when printing from Acrobat, which prints the whole document in portrait orientation, essentially what was supposed to happen in the first place. This orientation change only seems to affect the first page and doesn't have any affect on duplex orientation.
Does anyone have a solution to this one? Or some direction? Thanks in advance.

Try one of these:
1/ In Adobe, deselect "Choose Paper based on PDF size" - you can leave the "Auto Rotate and Center" on.
2/ In Adobe, go into Advanced and choose "Print as Image".
3/ If this is a Canon H1 Fiery RIP, go into Printer Properties, Printing Preferences, Layout, Rotate 180degrees and choose "Large Paper Only."

My adobe bridge CS4 is not displaying fullscreen photos well?

being a photographer and graphic designer the quality of displaying photos are very important to me, so the problem is that my adobe bridge CS4 for mac when i display photos in full screen, their quality is very bad when it fit to screen, but when displaying it in original size which is larger than my screen's resolution "2560 x 1440 px" its quality is perfect! what can i do?!
i want them to be in high quality and sharp! :S
i have tried edit>>preference>>advanced then Enable generate monitor size preview.....but no change, still the preview SUX
note that i have 27 inc big screen with res. of 2560x1440 px.....which is sometimes a big problem for me :S

yeeeey, just resolved it
after going to edit>>preference>>advanced then Enable generate monitor size preview, i had to clear the cache then to regenerate the previews
in the preference, just go to cache, and click on the button "purge cache" to delete all the cache for previously saved previews.....and voila, done

I just installed itune on wiodows 7 64 bits everything works very well but it wont go in full size screen ( I am not talking fullscreen for video just the program itself on my screen...I expand it but flashes rigth back to small size Can someone help
