Language and international content on iBook, iTunes and App Store
Hi,
when I try to buy any kind of apps, books, games, etc, the iBook, iTunes and App Store languages change to German, along with the content. I just bought my iPad yesterday, here in Germany, but I'm Dutch and would prefer to see american content, instead of all the translated, German, versions of products I get now. I have tried changing the store language on both my iPad and computer, and synched them, without effect. The only way to get the american content, for me, was to change the place I live to America. That worked fine, until I tried to get something. When I did, I got a message saying that my account was only usable in Germany. Does anyone know how to solve my problem????

In order to have an account in a particular country, you must a) have a valid billing address in that country, b) have a credit card billed to that address or use iTunes gift cards purchased in that country and c) be physically located in that country at the time of purchase. So, unless you actually change where you live to the U.S., you'll need to continue using the German iTunes Store.

Family sharing - works for iTunes and iBooks but not App Store.
I Have family sharing setup with an iPhone 5 & 6 on the system.
i can can see purchased content for both iTunes and iBooks but receive the following message in the App Store: "this iTunes account is set up to use family sharing with a different iCloud account than ******."
I don't understand how 2 out of the 3 services can be working with the correct account but the App Store thinks it is not on the right account. any ideas?
<Email Edited By Host>After digging and reading since I posted this question, I finally found the issue. My Cisco VPN client was set to stateful firewall (always on). When I turned off this setting, all machines worked for iTunes sharing. The Vista box was coincidentally working because the Cisco VPN client 4.6 didn't work on Vista.

After updating to mavericks I have to constantly enter my apple ID for mail, iBooks, iTunes and many other applications that used to be part of my keychain. How can I get my apple ID log-in to work again?
Several times I've re-entered my passwords under Preferences/Internet Accounts/iCloud and it won't save since I've installed Mavericks. Also, the iCloud icon in the left column in Preferences/Internet Accounts/iCloud is greyed out but allows me to click on it to set-up. When I click on iCloud the password is filled out but the "Enable this account" check-box is not checked. I check it, and all seems correct. The icon is no longer grey, the password is correct, the "activate this account" check-box is checked. Then, when I launch mail, notes etc. I'm still prompted to re-enter my apple ID. The log-in loop continues. For years my keychain has worked perfectly. What has changed in Mavericks?

I installed iOs7 on iPad 2 and now when i'm in iBooks and tap "store" i get a blank screen. Same thing in itunes, itunes u, app store, and a few other apps won't connect. Safari seems to be working fine.
I had this same problem. Tried everything the internet said including a full restore. Which was terrible. Nothing worked until.....go to general...reset....reset all settings.
You had to go back in and reset anything you customized afterwards, however it does not allow the store to load. Thanks! -
My App Store is connected to another account. I've tried to alter all my settings through iTunes, The App Store on both the phone and my Mac but it is still connected to the original owner's apple ID. Is there something I can do?
Turn off Find My iPhone in iCloud on the iDevice.
Log out of iMessage, Facetime, remove Apple ID from iTunes & App Store.
Use Settings > Reset > Erase All Content and Settings.
Then set it up as a new iPhone with your own Apple ID. -
My iphone 5c screen went out and its just a black screen ive tryed a hard reset and nothing still when i plug the charger in it dings every few secs and ive hooked it to itunes and restored it still nun do i need to buy a new screen or is something else wrong?

I have songs on my iPhone 6 that I can't remove and when I plug into iTunes and go to "Summary" and "On This Device" the songs don't show up but they are on my phone. How do I remove them? Not even sure how they got on actually since I have a iTouch and keep all my music there. HELP!!
Have you tried deleting the songs from Settings?
Settings -> General -> Usage -> Manage Storage (not the iCloud link!) -> Music and then click Edit to enable you to be able to delete. -
Just bought a new iPhone and am having trouble with iTunes and App Store. I can log in to Cloud, iTunes, and app store but once I try to download, it says "Youe apple id has been disabled". I've reset my password three times and have no issue on my Pad.

I changed the name of my apple id and now I can't use the app store on my phone correctly because it's using my apple id's old name. I signed out and in on itunes and synced my iphone. Still doesn't work. Help please?
Settings>Store...tap the ID shown...sign out...sign back in with the ID you want to use.
Note: Apps are forever tied to the Apple ID used to originally obtain them. They cannot be updated using any other Apple ID other than the one they were originally obtained with. -
my ipod is not recognized by my itunes and tells me to uninstall itunes and reinstall it. will this erase all of my music?

If you need to uninstall and reinstall iTunes, your music files should not be erased or affected in any way. It is always a good idea to back up your data before making any changes to your computer, though.

I am trying to download new version of iTunes from App store having purchased it on my laptop. When I try to download on my iMac I get the following message:
Error message when I try to download new iTunes as follows: iPhoto 7.1.5 is already installed and was not purchased from the Mac App Store - and then I am asked if I want to buy it again. I don't understand the error message and I don't want to purchase the new version again.
Also, since upgrading to Lion my videos (from Sanyo Xacti camera) do not play on iTunes. I can only open photos.

I have an iphone 5s and it is synced to itunes and works fine. previously I have downloaded audiobooks to my wifes 6th gen nano using this account - now I tunes does not recognize the device and also it seems that it is not being read by the computer?

I had an update massage for a wile on my phone and yesterday I decided to do the update and so I downloaded the soft w. and started to install but in the middle of the process the phone got stocked and said to connect to iTunes and so i did it and again the process gets interrupted first saying "the software on Iphone needs to be restored to factory settings or update" and so i do it..then it comes the message the an error -39 and I can not do it and it says that I need to restore..and so I do it..but its a circle and it never ends..and I have no phone since yesterday.. all my contacts, my work..

A little information will be of a great help, witch iPhone did you upgrade, memory , and version of software ( iOS 8.x.x )?
Try restarting you iPhone and make sure you have a god internet connection , get as close to your wifi router (1-3 meter / 2-9 feet ) as possible. Don't use restore to factory settings before you tried other options . And most imported du you have an iCloud backup.

My computer's hardrive went bad an I had to get a new one. Now my computer has nothing on it and I had to reinstall itunes and i have no music or anything. So now I cannot sync my ipod or anything. Is there anything i can do to get all of my stuff back?
It has always been very basic to always maintain a backup copy of your computer for just such an occasion.
Use your backup copy to put everything back.
