Language by default is not wat I wanted!

The creative -cloud that I just join, is installing the software based on my windows system languaje that is Spanish, but I don´t want it that way.
I want to use them in English, as I usually do!!!!,
how can I set that, before and after the software has been installed...

The Creative Cloud site enables you to select the language you would like to use regardless of your geography. if i clear the book so that it is all blanks and then try to load in the pictures i have it loses the chronology of the pictures that i had established in the album.
is there a way to import photos into an ibook template and keep the original order of the photos without having to do them one at a time?
also, is there a way to insert a photo rather than just dragging it? i have tried the cut and paste funciton but it doesn't seem to work, the target site doesn't seem to register with iphoto.

Photos are added to book in chronological order. So if you want to add them to a book in the order you have placed them manually in an album do the following:
1 - select all the photos in the album.
2 - use the Photos ➙ Batch Change ➙ Date menu option as shown here. Select any date and add 1 minute between photos.
3 - select just one photo from the album and create a book from it.
4 - in the book click on the Options button ➙ Book Settings button and make sure the checkbox for Auto-layout pages is unchecked.
5 - drag the album with your book photos onto the book icon and they will be imported into the Photos tray of the book in your pre-determined order but not into the pages themselves.

MS Windows has this language bar so user can have more than 1 keyboard layout to pick (default switch between the languages is Alt+Shift).
At mine when windows starts the keyboard languages are English (US) as a default and I can change to Greek for local language communication.
The Adobe Reader adds to this keyboard layout 4 more languages usually when I open to read a document (usually through a browser. The result is that after this if I want to continue with my normal keyboard layouts of Eng and Gr I have to either Alt+Shift many time to get from 1 language to the other or open that keyboard layout (as windows call it “Text Services and Input Languages”), install the additional languages and uninstall them to be removed or just reboot the computer to get back to 2 languages.
This is not just happening to me but also to other users in the company as I know.

In "Show more Bookmarks" if I right click does not work (I want to open in a new tab)

This is using Mac Firefox current version. I use lots of tabs and don't have space for all of them so there is a >> at the right end for clicking and displaying the rest of them. If I click and display list and highlight one of them, the right click does not work - I want to open in a new tab not use the existing - there are no menu options displayed on these tabs. The tabs across the top work fine for this

It's from an older MacBook, it looks like, but I imagine that the MacBook Pro keybaord would be similar.

A resource in this file uses an unknown language (for default MFC project)

Visual Studio 2013. I created a default MCF project and tried to open rc-file via Resource View. No custom changes were made.
I got an error: "A resource in this file uses an unknown language: Neutral (Default) (unknown sub-lang: 0x3). Unable to open this file." I used AFX_TARG_ENU: language 9 (english), sublanguage 1. There is no language value
in my project defined as 0x3 in winnt.h.

Based on your issue, could you please tell me if you get same error when you re-create a new Resource Script File in the MFC project?

(1) If you get same error message, I suggest you try to reset the VS setting file by going to the Tools->Import and Export Settings... check this issue again.
If it still could not help you, maybe you will need to repair or re-install the VS2013 check this issue again.
(2)If you did not get same error message, I think that the issue may be related to the specified the MFC project. So I suggest you can tell me the detail steps about how you create a MFC project.

ESS Leave Request - Customer fields default function not working

b. Here is the scenario
1. We are using ESS Leave Request application for employees to request leave. We are using the standard web dynpro java leave request application delivered by SAP.
2. Lately there has been a need to provide a customer field on the request form which will have a calculated value showing up when the employee opens the request
3.We used one customer field called customer01 as per configuration steps.
4. This field appears on the request form when it is opened.
5. Our need is to display a value in that field when the form is opened.
6. SAP/s documentation states that we can use BADI PT_ABS_ARQ to default a value to this field on the form. This value is calculated during runtime dynamically.
7. We have used the method IF_EX_PT_ABS_REQ~SIMULATE_VIA_BLOP for this purpose
8. After activating and coding this implementation, the system does not default anything on the request form when it is opened up.
9. Once the employee hits the review button, this field gets its defaulted value but this is not what we want. We want the system to display this when the form is OPENED, that means at the prepare stage. For this field to appear after hitting the review button is meaningless as the employee needs to make a decision based on the value in this field before hitting the review button.
It almost seems like this BADI is called when the review button is hit and not when the form is opened up. We may be wrong and missing something obvious which one of you can immediately point out, Hence this post.
10. I did go thru the forum at great length and seen that there has been discusion surrounding the need to populate R3 from a value entered into this field. My problem is different wherein, I wish to populate this upfront as display information when the form is opened and then send it back to R3, once the employee submits the request.
Would be grateful if anybody on this forum could point me in the right direction.

Please, can I take this question a little further.
Is it possible to add more fields to the leave request form on the ESS portal. For example, our customer wants additional fields like reason for leave, contact residential and telephone number during leave, Require leave entitlements (Yes/No).
Would appreciate if a reply can be given on if it is possible or not and what to be done if it is possible.

A new tab opens by default as a blank tab (about:blank).
If that isn't the case then an extension has changed that behavior.

How to make NeoOffice Writer my default software - not TextEdit

I was unable to find a discussion section on text edit so hopefully I can get some information here.
When ever I open a document ---- the default is textedit. I use NeoOffice as my default office software.
I want the NeoOffice Writer to be my default document software not TextEdit.
Can someone tell me where to change this ----- make NeoOffice Writer as my default document software, so TextEdit is not my default software ?

Hi Bob,
to make neooffice your default document program for txt file:
click on the file one
go to the menu bar
click on the file menu
chose get info
a new window will pop up
in that window there will be a section called "Open with"
the pulldown menu in open with, will stay text edit
click on that menu, form the menu chose neooffice
then click on the "Change All..." button
that's should do it.
but you may need to do this for each file type you want to change. (doc, docx, rft, extra)

Input language keeps defaulting to U.S. since updating to Maverick.

Input language keeps defaulting to U.S. I have my input language set to German and Russian but it keeps defaulting to U.S and i have to reset it every time through keyboard preferences. This has only started since I updated to Mavericks. It's not consistant for e.g. sometimes it happens on start up and sometimes whenever. It can go long periods without resetting and then, as lately - every start up!. Very very annoying. Have read on many forums similar problems but unfortunately nothing to cure this. I'm guessing it's a Mavericks thing (OS X 10.9.1) Any idea how to solve this?

Feature Request: Changing the CS6 language to default English if owning a localized version.

So I own a de_DE localized version of CS6 Master, but I'd love to use it in English. I understand, that being able to change languages is a licensing concern and that it would be a little more complex to implent a "Change language" function to CS6.
But what I though about is: every application within the creative suite is based on an English version, just translated to another localization.
So why not being able to switch between localized language and default English? No matter which language I bought...
So you wouldn't have to implenent an in example "German to French" licensing/translation function, but only being able to disable the localizations through the whole suite. How about that?

am not using a Hebrew OS, but I am using an OS that has French
support. I actually tried this test on 8.6 and 8.5.1 and I was not
able to reproduce this issue.
To describe what I am doing in further detail:
When
you are in "French mode" indicated by an "FR in the Windows XP toolbar
below, you can predict what characters will appear when you press on
different keys. In other words, when I have FR on my toolbar and press
"w" on my French keyboard I get a "Char" value ASCII 119.
I
then press Alt+Shift to switch the keyboard to english which is then
"confirmed" by an EN in the Windows XP toolbar.
Pressing
the same W key of my French Keyboard will then give me a "Char" value
ASCII 122. Therefore I am not seeing this behavior because I am getting
the expected value from that key based on the OS' language setting.
What you are describing seems to be
more of Windows issue rather than a LabVIEW related issue, and I
highly doubt that it should only occur with Hebrew and not with other
languages. One
thing to note is that if you switch between different applications on a
Windows XP PC with many regional settings configured, the keyboard
setting seems to follow the application for the most part. Perhaps a
specific version of a Windows update has fixed a behavior where the
keyboard gets switched at some point within the same application (in
this case different LabVIEW windows).

i installed mobile cleaner...cleaned my mobile now my default search in my nokia browser does'nt work and says default search not available....
please help me as i want my default serch back without formatting the phone...

Welcome to the Nokia forum.
Reinstall your current software with Nokia Suite to clear up any bugs that prevent you from accessing your default search bar. Connect your phone to Nokia Suite, click on the green arrow and click on 'reinstall current software'. Hopefully this will fix it and saves you from having to reset the device.
If the above doesn't work though, delete the app by going to Menu > Applications > Press and hold the apphlication and press Delete. Then hard reset your phone, but make sure you make a back up first. Connect the phone to Nokia Suite, click on Tools > Back up and make sure you don't tick the Settings box as this will back up the bug.
Once you've made the back up, enter *#7370# into your phone with default security code 12345, unless you have changed this code yourself. Once rebooted, reinstall the current software as explained above to make sure your phone really is cleaned from any bugs and restore the back up by going to Tools > Restore.
In case the default search bar still doesn't work after doing this, please visit a local Care centre where they can check it out and fix this for you. You can find your nearest Care centre by visiting your local Nokia web page and clicking on the Support tab.
Let me know how you get on so that I can help further, if necessary.

I only use Image Capture, so I can't speak for other software.
Here is how I select a Scan To destination:
If you are using the minimal details screen, you should have the same submenu to the left of the page size.
