Language DE not known

Hi,
we have basic data in language DE available in the source system and extract this into BW. When calling the master data table of any info object in language DE it brings error TL080, which says that the language is not known in the system. The diagnosis says the language DE is missing in table t002, but it is there. Can anybody help please!?

we already talked to the basis team. German language package has been installed, headers and general language is in german, you can also log in in german... only problem is that basic data maintained in laguage DE in the source system is ignored during data load - with the already mentioned error that language DE is not known by the system - by the way, even this message is posted in german...

Only the RAS ( Report Application Server ) SDK includes API's to retrieve the version information. As you do not have full build of CR, you do not have the RAS SDK.
Just as an FYI. The APIs are:

CrystalDecisions.ReportAppServer.ClientDoc.ISCDReportClientDocument.MinorVersion
A C# example code looks like this:

I htink your only way to tell is to take the 10.2 report, add it to your VS2008 project and save. On save, if it says something like;
"this report was crated ina precious version of CR"
you know it is not 10.5.
But I do not think that is your problem here...

You are at the mercy of the content owners/copyright holders. They decide what the Apple can sell in each iTS.

Syndication of attributes in diff. languages is not working.

I have this huge problem with syndicating attributes
We have a material rep. with a taxonomy containing of 2212 attributes mixed in numeric, text, range, logical
The main language is English.
When I set up a port to syndicate a material XML file with local attrib. lang. it can only be syndicated in English, so eventhoug all multilanguage fields are in local language, the taxonomy attributes are locked to English.
We have raised it with SAP, but did not get an answer we can use so far, so I wondered if somebody in here has found a solution or workaround
I know we can split attributes into languages, but not when they are mixed, only text attributes it seems.
What I do today to solve this situation is the following:
1.     log into the local language in syndicator
2.     File > New
3.     select the port
4.     u201Cexecute syndicationu201D
Thatu2019s all I do, but itu2019s manual.
Is there a way to automate this u201Cworkflowu201D via API, Java, Clix, or PI ?
All ports, PI and channels to legacy web portal are in place, I just need to trigger the port in the right language.

Hi RDNPrasad,
The attribute names are not same in both Norwegian and English layers. So in this case I need Norwegian attribute names in Norwegian.
Here I want to add that Attribute name is nothing but just like Field name, if it is carrying the same values as you said I agree the values of numeric attributes are same in all languages. I mean if you want Attribute name in Norwegian it does not matter what Source attribute Name you map whether its in English or Norwegian as here your Target Structure Attribute name really matters. So in this case you should give Attributes name at Target Side in all languages (English, Norwegian) etc and for source you can map clone Attribute fields as i said in my above post. Further as you said, Because I have maintained attribute names in Norwegian language also So similarly you need to maintain attribute names in Norwegian language (and all other languages) in Target structure along with English language and when you get this file from MDM, thus will have attributes name in all languages. So you need to give attribute name in all languages at target side(Destination Items).
e.g. I have two Attributes of Type Numeric languages Eng and Norwegian maintained in MDM.

Color(Clone)-Should map with -->Target Attribute name Farge , So in this way you will have required Attribute name in different languages with same values as Values would be remain same as it is Numeric.
suppose even if you get Attribute name of Type Numeric somehow Split, does it really matters..?

Farge-->Color , So here you getting Attribute name in English language though you have MDM Attributes name available in both languages. So please try to understand since all in all what matters the attribute Values. For Type Text , you can get Attribute values in different language using Split Multi-lingual and for Numeric you can use Clone or not need at all since values will remain same. So if you want Attribute name in all languages then it should be Target Side(Destination Item) and for Values in different languages it matters at source side(MDM side). I hope you got my point.

'ServerProperty' with 'Name' = 'Language' does not exist in the collection

LS,
One of my customers (using ssas 2012) is facing collation issues which result in missing facts in the cubes. I suggested them to have a look at the Analysis Server Properties. Howevere, on selection of the Analysis Services Properties page 'Language-Collation',
it doesn't open the page showing the properties, but instead the following message pops up:
'ServerProperty' with 'Name' = 'Language' does not exist in the collection
Any ideas on what could have caused this and how it can be fixed ?
We're considereing a restart of the SSAS server, but need to be very carefull because it's their production environment.

I am also experiencing this error when clicking on the Language/Collation page of the Analysis Services Properties dialog.
I suspect this is causing some other strange behavior such as an "invalid characters in hierarchy names" error when deploying an SSAS database, when the same solution/project can be deployed successfully from other machines. In that case, there are parenthesis
in the attribute name but no user-defined hierarchies. Error:
Errors in the metadata manager. The name, 'Project ID (Description)', for the cube hierarchy is not valid because this name is a reserved word, contains one or more invalid characters (.,;'`:/\*|?"&%$!+=()[]{}<>), or is longer than 100 characters.
I would like to avoid having to re-install SSAS if at all possible. Any help is much appreciated.

Thank you for the details of the issue you are experiencing when trying to perform an update. I recommend trying to update using iTunes, and as always, it is a good idea to make a backup first.

Transfer Billing document to accounting, Error: 'Object not known in COu2019

Hi all,
I have created an acquisition contract and subsequently created a billing document in CRM but when I try and transfer this to accounting, the system displays error message IAOM028 u2013 u2018Object not known in COu2019. My account assignment category on the contract is EROBJ u2013Profitability Segment CO-PA, however I have tried creating acquisition contracts with other account assignments but the same error occurs, even though the controlling object exists in SAP ERP. Iu2019ve searched the SAP notes and I did see note 683886, but this affected release 4 and we are working with release 7. Any help or advice in resolving this error would be much appreciated.
Alternatively how do I mark the item category as not relevant to CO? For now itu2019s not imperative that I post to a controlling object? The SAP help portal refers to selecting (or in my case deselecting) the Service setting in the Assign BW/CO fieldu2019 but I canu2019t find this field on the item category. Any advice again would be greatly appreciated.

Hello,
The reason might be the transfer error, is due to the incomplete distribution of the order/contract to R/3 account assignment table IAOM_EXT_OBJ_INF.
For your invoice, check entry for document number/item number. It might be missing and if so, system shows error message as you mentioned.
If entries are missing, then the order/contracts need to be re-distributed to R/3, so that the entries are created for these missing items in the IAOM tables. The transfer process then will complete missing entries successfully.
To re-distribute to R/3, the respective document needs to be save after making a change in the document. Unless there is a change in the document, the re-distribution will not happen.

BPM_DATA_COLLECTION fails with (Output device "" not known) error

Hi all,
I have an issue with Output BPM_DATA_COLLECTION_1 job in the satellite system failing with 'Output device "" not known error. Since it is collecting data for Solution Manager system why does is it trying to find an output device.
It did not fail before and now I added another key figure (custom one) which is done the same way the other custom monitors are done in "Z_BPM_ECU_COLLECTOR" report and then in /SSA/EXM program, but the collector job started to fail.
Also, for some reason there are two BPM_DATA_COLLECTION jobs, one is BPM_DATA_COLLECTION_1 and the other is BPM_DATA_COLLECTION_2. _1 runs every 5 min and _2 is less frequent. They both seem to runt the same job which is /SSA/EXS. Why are there two jobs scheduled from solution manager in my satellite system?

I am experiencing this same issue in our ECC 6.0 system. We currently have ST-A/PI release 01M_ECC600 level 0001 applied to our system. These jobs finish successfully in SM37, but I'm seeing the same error messages in our system logs (SM21).
When I try to update the output device that is associated with these jobs, the user ID running the jobs is not valid since it's user type is Communication Data.
Does anyone know if it ok to change the user for this job? Should it be run by DDIC? I believe the jobs were created automatically when we applied ST-A/PI release 01M_ECC600 level 0001.

Initially i got following error message 2 times in the system log reading:-

We are trying to send an IDoc type INVOIC from one SAP R/3 system to
another using the SAP XI/PI.
Right now we are experience an error Customer , vendor 0000049256 not
known, after have check all ALE/EDI configuration between the source
system (SAP R/3 4.6B), the middleware (SAP XI/PI 7.0) and the receiver

Check your logical system which represent the R/3 did you Configured the Customer Distribution Model correctly?Do an initial check for ports,partner profile and inbound/outbound parameters.

I'm facing a problem with the Settlement Type Prepayment in SAP CRM 2007.
Here you can find the error message:
Object not known in CO (IAOM 028):
"You want to post to the object with technical key belonging to the business scenario . However, there is no Controlling object assigned to this object"
I've read from some forums that BAdIs can be implemented in order to avoid this control, but my question is: without implementing BAdIs, where can I assign the missing Controlling Object?
In CRM? In ECC?

Field name not known   in old existing report.

We have a report that we have used for a long time and has always been fine. Today when we open it it says data will be lost because "Field name not known".   So you click ok and look at the report in design and the report is missing a bunch of fields. You look at the Field Explorer and it only shows the first field in the table. This report links 2 tables. The linking field is the first field in both tables.
I try to re-map datasource and no luck.   I close Crystal, open Crystal and create a new report, look at the same tables and all of the fields are there. Create similar report looking at same datasource, same tables, some of the same fields, and it works fine.
What is wrong with the original report and why won't it connect or show fields?

It may be that the report file became corrupted. Do you have a back up of that report anywhere? If not you could create a new report using the same tables and links and then have both new and old reports open and copy objects from the old report to the new report. Save it and then verify it all works as it should and replace the old report with then new report. Copy the old report somewhere safe also.

WF-Batch User Exist, RFC for workflow localXXX also set.

I see this issue solve by basis, they adding some parameters to start and instance profile.
But I have no idea which parameters.
