Language Import Error using Transaction SMLT - STRALAN_MSAG 075
Hi ,
My current client required Chinese Language - ZH (Chinese Simplified) in ECC 6.0 SR3 Unicode System
As per procedure, i have added chinese language 'ZH' using i18n -> i18n Customising -> i18n System Configuration menu.
Later in Transaction 'SMLT', i tried to add the language pack "ZHECC63F.PAT" by pasting & importing from EPS/in folder. The Import is getting terminated stating "Incorrect package format".
Kindly let me know what is the correct format. I have pasted the "ZHECC63F.PAT" file from the Language Installation DVD (51033496) delivered by SAP with license order.

Hello Ganesh,
You need to restart the import by cancelling it and restarting it again from SMLT.
Just cancel the current import! And we would need to reimport the same with the correct patches!
Following OSS notes would provide you further insights:
Note 830722 - Current note for language transports in Release 7.0
Note 195442 - Language import and Support Packages
Note 48047 - Mode of operation of report RSREFILL

Error using transaction CTBW_META
Hello,
I try to use CTBW_META to enhance 0MATERIAL_ATTR with classification.
The new datasource in bw 1CL_OMAT001 work find. i can retrieve the data.
But the datasource is not present in the table RSOLTPSOURCE
when i try to use this datasource in CTBW_META i receive this error :
"Entry A DE1CLNT120 1CL_OMAT001 does not exist in RSOLTPSOURCE (check entry)"
i follow this document :
http://affine.co.uk/cms/uploads/How_to_Extract_Classification_Data_into_BW.pdf
Thanks for you reply
Gilles.Hello Gilles,
Transaction CTBW_META creates the initial assignment of a classification datasource (like 1CL_OMAT003) to an object (like 0MATERIAL). It's not designed for later changes. They have to be done manually.
It may be that the datasource 1CL_OMAT003 has been replicated as a 7.0 datasource rather than 3.x datasource. Please check if the datasource can be seen in table RSDS - if so then this is the case.
At present the system looks for them in table RSOLTPSOURCE but they are not available hence this issue.
This being the case, you have to migrate them back to a 3.x datasource using transaction RSDS. See notes 938210/936644
and consult the online documentation.
936644 3.x DataSource:No active version displayed in UI (emulation
After you migrate the datasources, replicate the metadata once again Then it should work fine.
Kind Regards,

Lightroom 3.5 Import Errors using Synology NAS on Macbook
Hi all,
I've been trying out Lighroom 3.5 and I love it, with one exception....
When importing my archive (which is stored on a Synology Diskstation DS211j, accessed via an Airport Extreme), I get multiple import errors (around 5% of the total files), saying files are unreadable, unrecognisable etc. Some of the previews are also corrupt. I also get the "Server connection interupted" dialog in OS X Lion too, during the import. After Synchronizing the folder, it successfully imports more of the files yet still with a few errors. After the third or forth successive Sync, the operation is successful, with all files imported.
Now, this would point to a problem with my network connection or my NAS or its drives, however, this only happens with Lightroom. The files are not corrupt as they are imported sucessfully eventually. I work with the files outside of Lightroom all the time, and also stream my iTunes library sucessfully from the same drive, with no problems.
I have imported the same archive into Aperture, and encountered not a single read error or "Server connection interupted" dialog box.
Any ideas what is going on here?
Thanks,
John
MacBook Pro, Intel Core i7, 8GB RAM
OS X Lion 10.7.2I am having the same problem with my iPad and ios5 since I switched I have had the same issue. I am a wedding photographer so I transfer about 2000 raw images at a time. Also, is there a way to see a log of the old import problems. Once I close out the error window I can't seem to find a way to see what exact files it had problems with unless they haven't been imported to the catalog at all ever and I just do a reimport and skip duplicates. Sometimes it takes upwards of 5 times for those problematic files to be imported into LR just fine.

Japanese Language Import Error
Hi Experts,
We are installing the Japanese language for ECC6.0 EHP5 but we are getting below error.i have check all permisssions are good . did we download worng language cd ?
Thanks
Kiran.GVLHi Kiran,
Is this CD was shipped with the ecc6.0 Ehp 5 product?
If yes, have you ever update kernel, support packs or patches before importing language?
If you downloaded this from SMP, then you should consider ABHISHEK SINGH comment that there is a mismatch in version like kernel version EXT or non EXT etc... -

It seems that the data is missing (total record is correct but the value is missing). But If I generate text file by running rule in ERPi direct, the data is ok.
PS. I try to change to "SQL Insert" but it's not work.
Any idea?

Import errors using TIFF, JPEG, BMP, PSD
I've been trying to import as assets or slideshows from Adobe Bridge (using CS2 as my main program) still images with the same message for 25% of the files, that being that Encore cannot decode the media, and perhaps you should find the proper decoder. For Christ sake. I'm using and Adobe product throughout the procedure.
The files are all 8 bit, with no layers, without imbedded file data.
It's like Encore 2.0 isn't talking with CS2 at all, or at least not all the time. Some files import fine, others simply will not.
I'm using the Nikon D2x camera and maybe there is a problem there??? Shouldn't be in my mind. Professionals use professional equipment!!!
I'm just about at my wit's end. I've a deadline here and Encore is proving to be a nightmare.
I've called tech support and they were no help at all. they did suggest converting to bitmap, and that works-- like I say -- all but 25% of the time still. What about my files are corrupted??
Computer is a 3.2 Ghz Intel Pentium 4 with 2 GBs of RAM, running Windows XP.
HELP!!Though far too late for someone with a deadline almost a year ago, one thing that I have noticed when using PSD files in other Adobe Apps is that one should always Save w/ Max Compatibility checked, even though the files are a bit larger. I have all my copies of PS set to this, as the default, but had changed it on one (for some now unknown reason) and Save(ed) several PSDs. InDesign CS2 would not Place these files.
Another thing to look for is the excess baggage (Paths, Channels, etc.), that is necessary when working on the files in Photoshop. I always Save all of that material in my working folder, but then clean it up, when I do the final Save_As to the images folder for Import/Place into another app. I still have that material in the original working version, but do not include much of it, for final output. If I need it for Edit in Photoshop, I can always drag it in from the working version, and then Delete it, when the re-work is done.
I would have loved to hear the answer to Ruud's question from the OP, but assume that he/she found the difference, and just got too busy to share it.
As for the Nikon - should not be a problem. I shoot NEF (Nikon's RAW) and then, using ARC in PS CS2, Save_As PSD, when I have applied my settings and corrections. Never had a problem with this workflow. However, I do Image Size to whatever I will need in the other apps., so the files are no larger, than they will need to be.

Hi,
I'm trying to import the French language into a 4.6c R/3 IDES training system. In transaction SMLT during the import process i'm having an issue with the path for the language packages. How do i point this to Front End Cd drive? Whatever path I put in there, it returns with an error, "Specify a valid path". I've tried copying the files to the local SAP server in a directory, for example to C:\lang and entering this into the path, but still have no sucess.
According to this : -
http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw2004s/helpdata/EN/a3/30ad5296b511d384bb0060975b04f3/content.htm
There should be an option to "Load from Front End", this I don't have to can't see.
Thanks for your help!Hi Tin,
check below things
Before you start transaction SMLT for language import, you must configure the required languages using the RSCPINST report. For more information, see SAP Note 42305.
In SMLT, the names of the imported language packages are only displayed with up to 12 characters. Therefore, language packages with longer names (up to 20 characters) are truncated.

Hi All,
I am importing new languages in my installation.
I did use this help side
http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw70/helpdata/en/a3/30ad5296b511d384bb0060975b04f3/content.htm
At last there is a part:
After importing the languages, you must also import the language data in the Support Packages. To do this, perform the following steps:
a) Start transaction SMLT.
b) Select a language.
c) Choose Language -> Special Actions -> Import Support Packages.
There is a list of files found at oprating system level. With status green.
Shall I uses Serch path and find the languages file.PAT from EPS/IN archives og I sholud continue with all R3trans data file that is found on list?
ThanksHi Deepakkori,
The file DACRM71F.PAT is on /usr/sap/trans/EPS/in, But when I press the search button there is nothing happend.
The status of all the patches are green but I can not find DACRM71F.PAT on this list.
When I choos next I have :
Step: Start Import
The list below contains all Support Packages whose language-specific parts you want to import.
You can no longer correct this list.
And when I want transport I have this option:
How do you want to handle the texts of repaired objects?
Overwrite or Do not overwrite.
Is it any documention of this part for SMLT?
Should I continue with Overwrite?
Thanks

SMLT -- Czech Language Import -- .PAT files
Dear Support,
We are planning to import/add a new Czech Language into our ECC 60 system.
When I called the SMLT transaction to import the language from FrontEnd, the system is not finding the content from the CD 51033496_1. The CD has .PAT files instead of .sar or .car files.
I have also copied the .PAT file onto /usr/sap/trans/EPS/in, but still the SMLT tool is not finding the language content to import.
Could you please help me out with this issue?
Thank you,
NikeeHI Nikee
check this SAP Nope , hope this will solve ur issue
Note 1254022 - SMLT: Language imports not displayed in EHP systems
SMLT displays only the languages for which the current (SAP Basis) release has been imported. This makes sense because otherwise, the system would also display the language imports for the previous release after an upgrade. The problem now occurs because the systems that have an Enhancement Package imported the same language packages as the systems that do not have an Enhancement Package even though the release is different. For example, the SAP Basis 7.00 language package is imported into an SAP Basis 7.01 system. Since the releases do not correspond, the system does not display the language package in SMLT.To correct the error, SMLT must recognize an Enhancement Package release and the release check for this must be configured in a more flexible way

Smash126Hi Smash126,
Based on the error message” Could not allocate a new page for database REPORTING' because of insufficient disk space in filegroup 'PRIMARY'. Create the necessary space by dropping objects in the filegroup, adding additional files to the filegroup, or setting
autogrowth on for existing files in the filegroup”, we can know that the issue is caused by the there is no sufficient disk space in filegroup 'PRIMARY' for the ‘REPORTING’ database.
To fix this issue, we can add additional files to the filegroup by add a new file to the PRIMARY filegroup on Files page, or setting Autogrowth on for existing files in the filegroup to increase the necessary space.
The following document about Add Data or Log Files to a Database is for your reference:
http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms189253.aspx
If there are any other questions, please feel free to ask.
Thanks,

Hello As I see it one of the biggest tasks in setting up SJSAS is configuring database connection pools. This would not be such a big task if the admin console came up with a default list of properties that matches those we use. The temptation is to
