Language in messaging

Although my language is set on " Dutch", by writing a message nearly every word is underscored, indicating that the word is written wrong. How can I solve this?

Although my language is set on " Dutch",
Is your keyboard set to Dutch? That is what should determine the spell checking.

On the exchange server, the language of mailbox of user1 is set to Bulgarian with powershell command
    Set-Mailbox -Identity "user1" -Languages "bg-BG"
    And the check shows

The recepient uses some Blackberry smartphone.
The problem comes with cyrrilic text in the message:

  • Screen dims and multi-language "restart" message appears

Currently, every time Safari is used, the entire screen dims and a multi-language (German, Chinese, etc.) message comes on the screen saying that I must physically power down my machine and restart. No error message is given, nor are any other options allowed, as the keyboard and mouse are rendered useless.
I have rebooted the machine several times, including powering down the cable modem, but the problem persists.
This problem has occurred in the past, but seemed to clear itself, only to reoccur starting yesterday (23 Sep 05). I can't shake the feeling that this problem is more in the OS X arena than in Safari's, but testing does not seem to bear out my feelings - all other installed applications appear to run properly and this phenomenon of screen dimming with forced power down and restart does not occur with other applications.
    Any thoughts? Thanks! Bob Meyer.

    I suggest the following:
Repair the Hard Drive and Permissions - Mavericks, Lion/Mountain Lion
    Boot to the Recovery HD:
Restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the COMMAND and R keys until the menu screen appears. Alternatively, restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the OPTION key until the boot manager screen appears. Select the Recovery HD and click on the downward pointing arrow button.
    Repair
When the recovery menu appears select Disk Utility. After DU loads select your hard drive entry (mfgr.'s ID and drive size) from the the left side list.  In the DU status area you will see an entry for the S.M.A.R.T. status of the hard drive.  If it does not say "Verified" then the hard drive is failing or failed. (SMART status is not reported on external Firewire or USB drives.) If the drive is "Verified" then select your OS X volume from the list on the left (sub-entry below the drive entry,) click on the First Aid tab, then click on the Repair Disk button. If DU reports any errors that have been fixed, then re-run Repair Disk until no errors are reported. If no errors are reported then click on the Repair Permissions button. When the process is completed, then quit DU and return to the main menu. Select Restart from the Apple menu.
If you continue to have the problem, then reinstall the OS X Mavericks 10.9.2 Update (Combo) updater.

  • Language display in other language in message box

    Dear all,
Our company upgraded from R/3 4.7 to ECC6.0 on last November and our SAP system allows two logon languages(i.e EN - English and ZF - Traditional Chinese).
After Upgrade, I found that some message box shows in the language GE when we login by ZF.
    For example:
in the transaction IW29, after we retrieved the data and  download the result to spreadsheet  via ,  the message box shows "Daten in der Tabellenkalkulation sollten gespeichert werden"
Can I ask how can I solve the problem?
    Many thanks

  • C7 Text-To-Speech switches language during message...

    2 problems actually;
    1. Translates text message body to Spanish.
The 'You Have xxx Text Message(s)' Intro is spoken in English (US). Then the message body is spoken in Spanish ES (MX)
The language indicator on the play screen says ES (MX) while the select language option has English (US) selected.
    2. I cannot change the ES (MX) language setting via the phone. The language selection menu does not even show a listing for ES (MX).
Tried a reset and problem remains. Nokia USA has nothing i can find on the subject/problem.
    Thanks

    Well,
Now learning more about this - this can be about a missing launguage package and the voice packet "Kimmo".
Interesting thing that you cannot download such packets in anywhere in the Nokia support pages...
    http://www.nokia.fi/asiakastuki-ja-ohjelmistot/ohjelmistot/tekstinlukuohjelma
    http://europe.nokia.com/get-support-and-software/download-software/text-to-speech#
Strange. This means that if I get these files again, for next the E71 upgrade I will save these two files in a secure place. Just in case those are not anymore for easy download in the Nokia web site.
Others - if someone else happens to have those sis-files, I would appreciate you could share those with me.

  • Change language in messages

    Hello,
I have a form created with the wizard and it contains a button delete in that isolated ' Optional URL Redirect ' the property ' URL Target ' programmes:
    Javascript:confirmDelete (htmldb_delete_message, 'DELETE');
The message appears in English but I would like it in another language, how it is possible to change?
    Thank you very much

    Hello,
You should go to the shared component module and under shortcuts, look for the “DELETE_CONFIRM_MSG” entry, and change the message to whatever you need.

    Arie.

  • Reading foreign language text messages

    Hi all,
There may be a very simple solution to this but I just don't know how to make it work.  My wife and I both have Nokia's 6110 and 6210 (both Navigators) bought in Australia, so naturally we have set our phones in English.  Occasionally, we have friends send us txt messages with Chinese in them, and they appeared as small squares in the message.  I wonder how can we make our phones see those characters automatically, without messing up the English also contained in the message?  Is there some settings that we must do in our phones, or need to download something from PC Suite?
        Advice much appreciated.

    android's reply isn't exactly correct, I'm afraid.
And getting the Chinese as MMS will only work if the sender doesn't send the text as Chinese, but actually goes through the trouble of making a graphical image (.gif, .png or .jpg file) where the Chinese is sent as a picture, not as text.
You can add Chinese support by installing new system/default font files with Chinese characters:
    http://darlamack.blogs.com/darlamack/2007/05/changing_fonts_.html
You can also use applications like Psiloc Crystal Chinese:
    http://shop.psiloc.com/en/Application,262329,Psiloc+Crystal+Chinese
Other than that, you'd need a phone produced for a Chinese speaking country/region (then you'd get a phone with Chinese language/font support in the firmware).

  • How to show thai language on message panel

i use jdev for develop database programming
and in db it's thai language but when i query and show by System.out.println(); it's transfrom to ????? how to setup
    jdev for show thai language

    Panupong,
What is your operating system? What are your locale settings? Please go to Control Panel -> Regional Options (Windows 2000) or Regional and Language Options (Windows XP) to make sure your locale is set to Thai. If you're using Solaris or Linux, please also make sure that the fonts used in your font.properties.th file exist on your system.
If you've already done so and are still getting the problem, which version of JDeveloper are you using? What is your encoding setting in JDeveloper?
Also, please go to Help -> About and see what the user.language is set to. Also, what does the file.encoding system property return?
    Regards,

  • Text messaging in other languages

Seems like 3G does not support text messaging in Korean. Messages sent or received in Korean appears as blank or question marks. Is there going to be a firmware update in the future that will allow text messaging in foreign languages?
    Message was edited by: sleeny

Well, it's a bit complicated, so please bear with me here!
    1. An American in the Seattle area whose Window$ PC just got upgraded so that Chinese will display on her computer - not that she can read it - got the Chinese characters from my iPhone, but the European accented letters (é, ê, è, ü etc.) as well as... quotation marks showed up as blank boxes in her reply when I read it on my iPhone. But when I read her reply in *Apple Mail*, each of those showed up as a box with a little cauldron(?) in it.
    2. A French Window$ PC / Outlook user in Paris got the same blank boxes when I read his reply on my iPhone, but when read in Entourage on my Mac, they also came through with those little cauldron(?) boxes.
    3. A (traditional) Chinese Window$ PC / Outlook Express user in Taiwan got all the foreign accented characters, quotation marks and the Chinese characters, whether I read his reply on my iPhone, in Apple Mail or in Entourage, even though the é went through as if borrowed from a different font.
    Any ideas???

  • Messaging in other languages not working

    Hi,
Since the update to iPhone 3.1, I'm unable to select input in other languages when messaging. Every time I hit the "Globe" button, the phone just pops back to the home screen. Anyone has similar experience ?

I'm still able to change languages...have you tried a hard reset yet??
If you turn off all keyboards but English and then maybe hard reset, then add the keyboards back...it may resolve...

  • Multi-language support for ABSL messages

Is there some best practice or feature for multi-language support of ABSL messages (as it exists for the UI since 3.5). Currently we are maintaining messages in several languages (one message entry in the BO per language) and depending on the current user language we raise the respective message. However, with an increasing number of supported languages this becomes quite tedious.
    - Daniel

    Hi Daniel,
unfortunately there is no other way than the one you described. One thing that may make your life abit easier: In a business object you can refer to messages from another business object. This means you can create one business object "messages" that holds all messages so that you have all messages in one .bo file and not spread across all your BOs. The translation process is easier, if you have all your messages in one file.

So far i know to suppress the system default message, you have to use
:SYSTEM.MESSAGE_LEVEL The level is start from 0 to 25 increment by 5
Ok. First suppress the message then to show u'r message catch the form status and fire your message.

  • Messages in Double Byte Language

I had created a message in english and then by logging into the required Double Byte Languages translated the text into Double Byte Language. The message is a warning message. Now the user wanted a pop-up to be dispalyed during the warning message, so in the options setting activated the "Dialog Box at Waring Message".The Activate Multibye Functions to support is also enabled. Now the issue is that when the message is displayed , the pop-up displays the correct text for all languages except the double byte languages, for double byte it displays "???????????".If I disable the "Activate Multibye Functions to support", garbage values are displayed for the double byte languages. Can someone tell me how do I solve this?

    Hi!
This does not sound like a programming issue. First check / update the sapgui to the newest version, if this does not help ask OSS. I guess, in general your double byte characters are displayed correct, otherwise I would check language installation of SAP, maybe also font installation of the GUI computer.

  • How can i display warning messages in user exit EXIT_SAPLMGMU_001 (MM02)

    Hi all,
while modifying the material master using MM02, i have added new conditions to display messages in user exit EXIT_SPALMGMU_001.
But using this user exit i am not able to display warning messages.
Can you please help me with this?
Sample code which i have included in exit :
    SELECT SINGLE mstav FROM mara
    INTO w_mstav
    WHERE matnr = wmara-matnr.
    IF wmara-mstav NE w_mstav.
    IF wmara-mstdv NE sy-datum.
    wmara-mstdv = sy-datum.
    MESSAGE w177(z03_mm) WITH text-s04 text-s21.
    ENDIF.
    ENDIF.
    Thank you all in advance.

As written in the SAP documentation of the Enhancement , you can only raise error message using a
    MESSAGE .. RAISING APPLICATION_ERROR.
You could manage the "warning" yourself, sending an error first time and keeping a trace of the check in some STATICS variable, and not raising the error again if data input remains unchanged between two call of the include.
    <i>----
    EXIT_SAPLMGMU_001
Where Is the Customer Exit - EXIT_SAPLMGMU_001 called?
The customer exit is in function module MATERIAL_UPDATE_ALL. The
function module checks the data for errors (logical relationships,
foreign keys, fixed domain values, and so on) when the material master
    is updated.
    Use
    o New fields
You can make checks possible for new fields of your own. These
checks must be identical to the checks that you carry out for your
    new fields in online maintenance.
    o Existing fields
For existing fields, you can extend and intensify the checks.
You can also change data for descriptions and general material data
(MARA). For example, the descriptions can be generated from attributes
    of the material.
    Limitations
    You cannot bypass existing checks.
    Interface to Application
The respective data of the current logical transaction is contained in
the structures, for example, in structure WMARA for MARA. Nonrelevant
structures are transferred with their initial values.
General material data that can be changed (CMARA) has the structure
MARU. This MARA view contains fewer internal fields than MARA itself. If
WMARA is filled, CMARA is also filled when accessed.
The customer exit contains the exception APPLICATION_ERROR for your
    self-defined error situations.
Using the language element MESSAGE .. RAISING APPLICATION_ERROR, you can
terminate the current (logical) transaction and display your message in
    the log. </i>
