Language in Pages

Hi all!
I recently got iWork '08 and I really like it! But it's pretty annoying that it puts red lines under every word I type because it can't understand danish. Is it possible to change the language, or do i just have to live with that?
BTW, I'm new here!

Der blev lagt pres på mosteriet, så dansk er langt om længe understøttet i version 10.5. Dansk skulle have haft understøttelse for længe, længe siden. Nu skal mange ikke blot opgradere deres styresystem, men også deres maskine. Der blev også lagt pres på mosteriet for at understøtte fuldtekstsøgning for digitale dokumenter sat med avanceret typografi. Det blev understøttet efter to et halvt år i en punktopgradering til version 10.4.

Setting default language in Pages '09

Is there a way of setting the default language in Pages '09?
Each time I want to begin a new document that is not from my templates, I have to change the language to Australian English. With MS Word it was not a problem to change the default language.
I read in another post to change the settings in the international pane of the system preferences. My iMac no longer has that option.

10.6 just changed the name from "international" to "language & text". Go to system prefs/language & text/languages and move Australian English to the top of the list. Also in system prefs/language & text/text/spelling set it to Austrialian English.

I'm editing a document in French, so want the spell checker to check in French, not English !

OK, solution is simple : Inspector - Text - select language.
(need to 'select all' text first for the change to effect existing text, obviously)
This works fine, but I still find it cumbersome : do I need to set this language again for every new document, or create a new template in the right language ?

The only choices you have in the iPad itself are to change the keyboard or change the user interface language. If that doesn't do what you want, probably best ask the people who make Papers.

You tell Pages what language the text is by selecting it and applying:
Inspector > Text > More > Language > Espagñol
Language is like bold or underlined or ALL CAPS, it is part of the text's style. In fact making it part of a style in the Styles Drawer is a quick way of applying it.
The default language is whatever you have set the System to.

Unattended wds client setup - language/locale page is still displayed

I am running WDS in Windows Server 2008 R2. I have created an WDS Client answer file to automated first screen (UI Language/Locale page) and disk partitioning. However, I still get the first UI Language/Locale selection page. automated disk configuration
works just fine.
I have further noticed that if I include <Login> section and automated user/password/domain portion, it doesn't display UI Language/Local page!
I just want to see the Login page and Image selection page.

My requirement is to hide the "Locale/keyboard input method" selection screen and disk partitioning screen.
I removed ImageSelection section as you mentioned however, I still get "Locale/Keyboard input method" selection page.

How do I find optional languages in Pages 5.0? In Pages 4.3 you used to select a language via Inspector.

Pages 5.0 does not appear to offer the possibility of selecting a language. This really is a shortcoming when you have pre- and post-reform versions of a language, as in German. Am I missing something? in Pages 4.3. you would make a slection via the Inspector.

Pages now uses Edit > Spelling and Grammar > Show Spelling and Grammar to set the spell check dictionary.
If you have been using dictionaries beyond what Apple provides, you may have to reinstall them in Mavericks if they are no longer present on the list, and how well they will work with Pages 5 you will have to check.
If it doesn't meet your needs, you can stay with Pages 4.
