Language issue for apps

How do I change the language on my apps store and iTunes store. My phone is in English But those two r in Italian. Thank you.

Is your account with the Italian App Store and iTunes Store? If so, you can't change the language.

Language issue for selection texts

Hi All,
There is a auto generated program, for which I am facing a language issue.
When I logon the system in EN language, I can see the the selection text in english language.
However when I logon to system in DE language, it just displays the variable name in the selection screen.
When I click on the selection text, the following info msg is displayed: "Not translated texts from the original language DE be interfered".
What does this message mean? Can I view the selection text in English language when i am logged in DE language.
Since this is an auto generated program, I am not authorised to do the changes.

Ask your basis team to give you authorization for these two authorization objects:
S_QUERY_ALL Change, maintain and translate query
S_QUERY_UPD Change and Translate
If you have these authorizations you can go and change the translation in ABAP Query which is generated by using SQ01 tcode.
If you have the authorization for above mentioned authorization objects the nuse tcode :
SQ07 and you can translate your query.

Language issue for sold to party in sales order

Hi,
we have a sold to party A which is in china. the address for the same is maintained in local version and inetrnational version while creating customer master for A.
we aslo have a sold to party B, which is in Greece. the address for the same is maintained in local version and inetrnational version while creating customer master for B.
now we logon to sap and the language we select is Italian. we then go to t code Va01, then the first screen shows everything in Italian which is ok. we then enter order type and sales area. we then go to next screen and enter the sold to party A and we press enter. now the issue is the address against A is shown in chinese characters and not Latin ......... why so ??? we need the characters to be shown in latin and not chinese ?
if we make a sales order for sold to party B ( logged into sap in Italian language), then the address appears in Latin and not greece ..so this is ok !
but my question is why this is not happening for sold to party A ??? what settings i need to check in customer master and other settings. In fact how the language management works ??? and how we maintain the local and international version ? . can someone explain by taking my above example and also give possible solution to my question above for sold to party A

ICloud language issue for iPad 2

I just set up the cloud on my ipad2. Now When I go I to search apps the wording such as categories and featured are in French but I use English. Everything else on my iPad is English.

Language issues with Apps. Store

Hi, I live in Thailand, my address is in Thailand so unfortunately this causes a problem with the Apps store.
If I enter details through the Thai site everything is in Thai and as a Brit. I need it in English! If I go to the UK Apps store, everything is in English but when I enter my billing/mailing as an address in Thailand....yes sadly, everything reverts to Thai language again.
I need the Thai Apps store with an English language option/facility......is this possible?
Because at the moment, I cannot buy Apps.......many thanks,

At the foot of the iTunes Music Store window, there is an option to switch to another store. Selecting the appropriate one should take care of the problem.

Language issue for some transactions

Hi,
We recently installed PT (Portuguese) language and found some problems with SAP Standard Transactions.
Some SAP standard transactions shows "Field label" in English when we login in PT language.
We tried applying SAP notes and activating the programs again but it dint work.
Do anyone has any idea about such problems?

My company has presence in brazil and now we will also be offering products to the brazil customer. In our initial analysis of local reporting requirements, we came across SPED regulations which require us to record the transaction data in portuguese and also transfer data electronically to the brazil regulators.
Do you folks have similar requirements and if yes, were those met via the SAP portuguese language pack? Can you please share your experience on how the language pack works? Does it translate data from English-->Portuguese at the database level or is it the UI that is just in Portuguese? Appreciate your feedback.

Issue with Apps adapter for Create_Cust_Account API

But I’m getting the following error,
An error occurred while running Jpublisher.missing method
· I’ve tried with Database adapter. But in the runtime I’m not able to pass oracle apps initialization parameter in spite of using transaction and idempotent property in partnerlink.
· Then I’ve tried to invoke fnd_global.apps_initialize first then call the package from database adapter, but it fails again, apparently its not able to execute both DBadapter in same database session although they are in same BPEL transaction.
When I’m passing the initialization parameters in adapter created wrapper procedure then its working fine and customer got created.
Please let me know where I’m going wrong or issue with apps adapter.

I'm able to execute the BPEL flows using DB adapter in same session and customer got created.
But I'm wondering why I cant invoke the API using Apps adapter though its standard one.
wsdl file is not getting generated as the adapter wizard not get completed.
Do u have any idea why its giving ' error occurred while running Jpublisher.missing method' error?should I conclude that apps adapter does not support overloaded procedure.

We are on Oracle Apps rel 12i with dicoverer 10g.
Did anyone setup MOAC to be enabled and operational in business areas?
Setting up secure responsibilities in discoverer for MOAC?
Any setup needs to be done for custom report security in discoverer ?

I did setup new MOAC security profiles and assigned multiple organizations to that profile for testing purpose.
After this, I did run concurrent program "Security List Maintennce" etc...
Tested Upding profile at user level or responsibility level.
On APPS side fine.
I need the some basic steps on setup of security issues for discoverer side.
1) Business areas (any security steps need to be followed in order to access data for single or multi-org)
2) Custom Reports ( any security setup or any moac security profile setting against responsibilty for accessing single or multi-org data)
Since we dont have default operating unit parameter as specified in the concurrent program, how do you restrict data?
3) Reconciling security approach r12 with discoverer (any steps need to be followed here after r12 configuration with security issues)
4) Custom Views ( any steps to be followed for single or multi-org data as security aspect)
Looking for info on these setups.

If you don't have a rescue email address (or you do but aren't the receiving the email to it) then you will need to contact iTunes Support / Apple to get the questions reset.

This changes the actual store. There are dozens of stores. Each store is posted in ONLY ONE LANGUAGE. Changing the country (actually, it changes the store) doesn't change the language. The language is hard-fixed for the particular country's store. You cannot change the language of the store. You can only change the store. The German Store is always in German. You can change to the U.S. store, but you can NEVER download / purchase anything from a different store than the one where you first got your Apple ID.
You could create a new Apple ID in the U.S. store, but that is only allowed WHILE YOU ARE LOCATED IN THE U.S. This is the most annoying limitation of the Apple ID and flies in the face of Apple's attempt to present a globe-trotter image for their customers.

Setting language independently for each app

Before leopard we could set the language of each app independently (in the get info window) but now we are stuck with a system-wide setting. Is there any way to get the functionallity back? And I don't want to manage a separate user for each language, it just doesn't work for me.

Here's the long story:
I'm tring to have my finder and some apps in french but I want to use some other apps in english (Final Cut, Photoshop, a bunch of pro video apps for work). I use mainly FCP and the thing is that if I open it in french, for some obscure reason it assumes (erroneously) that I must be in France and that I have an azerty keyboard... so all the keyboard shortcuts are changed. It gets absolutely unusable, even undo is changed for something other than command-z. So I tried language switcher, with my system and finder set in french. I ran the list of my apps and decided, app by app, which one I wanted in french and which one I wanted in english. I saved those settings every time, because I felt it would be dumb to have to launch language switcher first each time I wanted to launch an app. Then I launched Final Cut Pro (7.0.3). At first it looked like all went well, it was in english, my system was in french. But when I checked trough the menus, I found that all the menu items were written in english but the keyboard shortcuts associated with them were the french ones! I tried to get it back to work normal by switching the system back to english and doing the reverse process with Language Switcher. Didn't work. I tried three or for other things that didn't work either (and I won't detail them all... sorry). So I reverted to my last time machine backup.
I assume the .lproj trick you mention is essentially what Language switcher is doing, so that wouldn't do me much good. I really miss the way we could do it before leopard...

InApp purchase issue for my newsstand app

I am having a strange issue while subscribing for auto renewable product.
I have created a test user account and which works fine for non renewable product and restoration. In the case of auto renewable subscription, it is asking for test account verification and couldn't test the auto renewable subscription. Why it's required for test account. Following is getting me

I have created almost many test user accounts in itunesconnect now with no luck, i always sign out of the app store on the device before running the app for test, then use the test user log in when testing the iap in the app itself, but keeps saying the same thing.
I tried all the ways mentioned in many posts for the similar issue, like not logging in to itunes account from settings page. But no luck. The strange thing is that non renewable purchase and the restoration process works fine with the same account. Any ideas? I am facing this issue for the last week and I could release the app because of this bloody issue.

How can I change the language of the App Store application for my ipod touch?

These instructions are for changing the language for the Ipod Touch, but they don't change the language for the App store and the Reminders Application.
I think these two might be driven by the IP address of your location. In my case, I am in Spain and have my Ipod Touch set to English, but for the App store and Reminders, it appears in Spanish.
I would like to be able to change them to English if possible. I don't see any options within those applications to make this change.
Does anyone know how to make these changes?

Security certificate issue for Provider Hosted App (SP Online)

Hi all,
I am having a hard time with SP Online debugging a basic provider hosted app.
Steps I have taken to create the app:
created a new provider hosted app in Visual Studio 2013 and setting my SP Online debugging site (wich works perfectly for SP hosted apps).
Chose Azure ACS option, although I do not have an Azure account
When I deploy the app I get to the page on my debugging site where I must choose "Trust It", but when I do I get the message that the Connection is Unsecure/unsafe:
How can I fix this? Do I need to create an Azure account for debugging purposes already? Or is there another way to solve the problem?

Per my knowledge, you need to create an Azure account for debugging purposes.

Add Support for more than one language to my APP

1st off - sorry, most likely this is the wrong place to ask this question - I did a lot of searching but did not come accross any simple solution.
I wrote an app that supports about 10 languages - but in the store it only Shows up as "english" - also if I try to publish an update I can only select "English" as a language to add the description.Is there a simple way to add more languages?
