Language pack available in OIM 10g

Hi,
Can any tell me about the different language pack available in OIM 9.x.X
I have an requirement to change the default English language to some other language e.g chinese language . Is this possible?
In case of provisioning can I enter different language in database and how it will be interpreted by the target if using SPML based provisioning?

There is the German version of Firefox 5.0 at http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/all.html however the Linux builds there are 32-bit as 64-bit are at http://releases.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/firefox/releases/latest-5.0/linux-x86_64/de/

Language Pack error

Hi,
I recently got CS4 and installed only Photoshop onto my Windows 7 machine.
After installing Dreamweaver today, I found that the program was installed with errors. I could not run the program. The language pack is missing or corrupted, The error message that shows says that it can't locate the resources folder in the configuration foler.
I had a similar problem with Photoshop, and to fix it, I found someone who had made a fixed language pack available and it fixed the problem. I unfortunately cannot find where I found that.
The problem with Dreamweaver has nothing to do with old scripts of CS3 running (this is a new machine, I have never owned CS3) and has nothing to do with a missing Public Documents folder. I also tried reinstalling the program on international english, but that just changed which language pack was missing. (no matter what I install, the error 2 message pops up. the only thing that changes between the US and International English is that the missing langpack is en_US or en_GB, respectively.)
My guess is that I just need a fixed language pack. Any suggestions?

I fixed the same problem in photoshop by adding a Locales folder with en_US in it that I found on the internet. This seems to be what I need to do in Dreamweaver, but adding the locales folder I used in photoshop doesn't seem to be working.
My theory is that the language packs did not install correctly. This seems to be a widespread problem on the internet, but nobody seems to be able to fix it. Any support for Dreamweaver from Adobe is outdated and irrelevent.

Language Packs for Crystal XI?

Are there language packs available for Crystal Reports XI Professional? I'm particularly looking for Polish. We use our Crystal in a Citrix environment. People in Spain see Spanish when they use it, the English see English, Germans see German, but since Polish isn't a default language the Polish users see English as well.
If I could get a language pack it would help.

Error after updating to OIM 10g BP17 pack

Hi,
I am using the following code to send email through custom code.

It was working perfectly in my existing version of OIM 10g.
After changing to BP17 pack in OIM 10g i am getting an error in the line
tcDataBaseClient dbClient = new tcDataBaseClient();
I guess this is because the particular THOR API is mitigated in this BP17 release. Is there any workaround for this issue?

People complained when Adobe added the arrows to the mouse cursors.
Now people complain when the cursor is returned to a Text insertion bar, without the arrow.
Clearly not every customer agrees on how cursors should work, nor apparently everyone in Adobe either.
I have this really great idea... Maybe Adobe could make mouse cursors with arrows an option you can select. I for one would choose the cursors with arrows, as Niall above would also, I suspect.

Office Language Packs 2008 available for Mac

Sorry, I don't know if this question belongs here, but i have the latest version of office 2008 and I would like to install the Italian language pack, but i can't find it for mac, only for windows. Does it exist? (I want to change the interface language for my bf who is Italian)

Is there a particular reason this can be done on windows but not on mac? I am going to look at open office as well; I guess my main concern is compatibility. OAM 11g Language Packs

I've scoured the doc, so correct me if I'm wrong. Is there any notion in OAM 11g regarding language packs? I see lots of doc for 10g but nothing for 11.

Hi Pi_zaw,
This is expected behaviour - the MaxRetryLimit controls the maximum number of failed attempts in a browser session, it does not lockout users. If you want to lock users out in these circumatances, you either need to integrate with OIM, or use OAM's own password policy (available in OAM 11.1.2).

Language packs: Everything's at 99%

Hi,
I've got WSUS on Server 2012 R2 and 10 Server 2012 R2 servers.
WSUS is quite happily installing all the patches, but they're all stuck at 99% compliance. They're all reporting back that the UK language pack KB2839636 isn't installed.
They all have English-UK set as their default language and display language. KB2839636 doesn't appear in Windows Update.
How can I get this update installed and get 100%?
P.S. I hate language packs :)

Windows 8 installation failure with German language pack

Hi,
I have a Lenovo ThinkPad Edge E330 with Windows 8. We just received it over Xmas - nice product. Just one Thing so far: I can't get the German language pack installed. Language, Keyboard layout and other regional Settings are set to German. After downloading the German language pack through Language->German->options->Download and Install Language pack (German Language Pack - Windows 8 for x64-based Systems - (KB2607607) [de-DE_LP])I always run into the following error during the Installation (download seems to be fine, error happens after about 2/3 of the Installation - if you believe the Progress bar). From the Event Viewer:
Installation Failure: Windows failed to install the following update with error 0x80070002: German Language Pack - Windows 8 for x64-based Systems - (KB2607607) [de-DE_LP].
I already tried quite some stuff without success: no pending Upgrades, several reboots, switching off Firewall/anti-Virus, selective reboot just with Winodws Services and Startup stuff, ... No success.
Does anybody have seen a similar Problem? Anybody with a solution to get the German language pack finally installed?

Chinese language pack on English-language Nokia E7...

I'm based in Manila and just bought a Nokia E72 cellphone here locally in the Philippines. The unit is labeled E72-1.
I needed a cellphone which can display Chinese-language (both Traditional & Simplified Chinese) characters.
Unfortunately, this E72 I bought here only has the English language.
I've read that the Nokia E72 in Hong Kong / Taiwan / Singapore can display both English and Chinese language.
Is it possible to have the Nokia E72 add a Chinese language pack to display Chinese characters? I really need the Chinese display capability since I regularly have contacts who send me important SMS messages with Chinese characters.
If it's not possible to add the Chinese character display capability, I may be forced to let go of this Nokia E72 and perhaps have to order it instead from Hong Kong (or perhaps Taiwan or Singapore) where I presume the Nokia E72 there will have the English + Chinese display capability built-in.
Although not as important as the Chinese-display capability, I would also like if it could have Chinese language input capability installed on this E72. Is this also possible?
Note that I don't need the phone system menus/commands to be displayed in Chinese language (and actually prefer them to be English language). I only need the phone to display/input Chinese characters in the SMS messages.
Please advise so that I can make a decision as soon as possible, whether to let go of this locally-bought E72 with only English language and instead procure a unit from abroad with the Chinese language display (and input) capability.

1) Using the above page, one can download Chinese dictionary (Traditional and Simplified Chinese versions available).
It seems that after installing both dictionaries for the Mobile Dictionary application, I can fire up the Mobile Dictionary app and choose Target language to Traditional and Simplified Chinese. The Traditional Chinese characters don't seem to display (some characters display while others are "square boxes"; but the Simplified Chinese characters appear to display correctly.)
So, it appears that the dictionary app can display Chinese characters (at least Simplified Chinese) after installing, although the SMS messages still display "square boxes" where there are Chinese characters.
2) Download Chinese [Mandarin] (or Chinese [HK]) language text-to-speech. Now even though the E72 doesn't display Chinese characters (they show up as square boxes), I can use the msg reader to read those "square boxes" messages and it will read them in Chinese. So at least, that's one way of having Chinese read back to you although the characters themselves can't be displayed. (Set Language Detection to "On" in the Speech settings so it automatically recognizes Chinese; or one could also set the Voice Language to Mandarin Chinese so that even the voice prompts are read in Mandarin Chinese -- however, if Language Detection is set to "Off", it will try to read English SMS messages as per Chinese pinyin -- ie. incorrectly.).
One bug I notice is that for Chinese character email messages (Nokia Messaging). If I set my Language to English, but set the Speech setting of Language Detection to "On", and then activate the "Listen/Read" email messages, then the Msg Reader will hang up the phone. I had to use a utility called JBakTaskman to forcefully close Msg Reader (if don't have JBakTaskman, then have to turn off the phone and turn it back on). So it looks like while the Language Detection can auto-detect Chinese characters in SMS messages and read them properly in Chinese, it seems to hang up in Email Messages.
