Language pack doesn't work, FireFox 20.0!

The Dutch Language pack doesn't work.
I installed it and it's still all in English.
What to do?

Check the value of the general.useragent.locale pref on the about:config page and set that value to language code of the version or language pack that you have downloaded (e.g. "nl") if there is still a wrong locale set.

Your bookmarks and other profile data are stored in the Firefox Profile Folder and won't be affected by an uninstall and (re)install, but make sure that "remove personal data" is NOT selected when you uninstall Firefox.

Language Pack problems after update Firefox
Hello everyone.
Yesterday I upgraded my system (pacman -Syu) and there was a Firefox upgrade with your language pack (firefox-i18n-ca 18.0-1) but Firefox is in English. Someone know what happen? How can I resolve this issue?

armandopk, thank you for your suggestion but the problem persist. The language in firefox menu is in English (New tab, Bookmarks,....) would be (Nova pestanya, marcadors,....) o-O.

In my case the language pack is (firefox-i18n-ca) and it has a bug (https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=829246). In this post (https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php … 2#p1216752) jpatufet says the solution.
Download the jpatufet correct version of xpi (https://www.dropbox.com/sh/msfvi8a0uk6cche/-UW-Jjzaq3) and copy in /usr/lib/firefox/extensions/

New Update - Language Pack won't work
After updating iTunes to the newest version, my language pack won't do: When I try using the Dutch language pack, it uses the English one (however, in Preferences he still days i'm using the Dutch one).
Does anyone have any idea how to fix this? Or should I wait until the next update?I don't have a Swedish translation for the following instructions, I'm afraid. But fingers crossed ...
Open your Uninstall a program Control panel. Select iTunes and then click the "Repair" link up at the top of the screen.
Alternatively, download a fresh copy of the iTunes 10.1.1.4 installer from the Apple website:

Doubleclick the iTunesSetup.exe (or iTunes64Setup.exe). because you already have 10.1.1.4 installed, you'll be offered two options (either repair or remove, in English). Choose the repair option. -

*if you want to use the regular release version (firefox 18.0.2 at the moment) and not a beta version, then please download the setup file from getfirefox.com & install it on top of your current installation
*when there is a folder named "old firefox data" on your desktop, then you've done a [[Reset Firefox – easily fix most problems|reset of firefox]] which had reset most of your preferences to the factory default & removed all extensions. if you want to revert that, go to ''firefox > help > troubleshooting information'' and click on ''profile folder/show folder''. a windows explorer window should open up. now close all open firefox windows and replace all the contents of your current profile folder with the data that is stored inside the "old firefox data" folder on your desktop.
*the plugin check website isn't working at the moment - so the problem you're seeing here isn't on your end. hopefully this will be fixed soon on the server-side... -
SAP_AbapRun duplicated - SAP Language Step doesn't work
Hi,
I have duplicated "SAP_AbapRun" Job definition to a new one, and when submiting this new Job Definition SAP_Language_STEP (Parameter LANGUAGE) is ignored.
Our Build is: M33.104-74500.
After submit Job in CPS, IN parameter is 'PT' - Portugal but when I go to SM37 is in EN (English) and spool list is in English.
Anyone with the same problem?
Note: With SAP_AbapRun SAP_Language_STEP (Parameter LANGUAGE) works as expected.

There is no JC in this process. just a JD. This JD was not imported from SAP. It was created directly in CPS system.
Step 1: Duplicate SAP_AbapRun
Step 2: Try to execute an ABAP program with language EN -> OK
Try to execute an ABAP program with language PT -> NOK, it returns the spool in English.
Another test: Executing program without duplicate SAP_AbapRun in both languages, it works as expected.
PT language exists in SAP System.

If the cord is damaged there's a good chance it's not going to work properly. Outside of trying to repair the cord yourself (which I do not recommend unless you're skilled in such ability), it probably just makes sense to buy a new one. -

Have you checked the log file? Does it record the error details there?
So you only have the language pack on your computer, not the entire Office 2013 instance? Office 2013 MSI Language Pack doesn't work with Office 365. Try to remove the language pack then try again.

Firefox command line option "-no-remote" doesn't work with profile.
I want to run the stripped version of firefox in background with one application and another full version of firefox for normal browsing. I have created the profile for the stripped version of firefox and loading the same using command firefox -P "stripped" -no-remote/firefox -no-remote -P "stripped". But when I start the full version of firefox by launcher "firefox" than it directly loads the stripped version even used the -no-remote option with profile. So I have created launcher for firefox and used the -no-remote with default profile like "firefox -no-remote". It works when first time I click on launcher but for second click it shows the message "Firefox instance is running, or not responding. close the firefox and restart the system". I have gone through the online available documents that suggests that use the -no-remote option with profile so the default profiles works correctly. But -no-remote option doesn't work with the profile. So is there any way to launch the full version of firefox by launcher on second click on launcher?

I use the -no-remote with firefox default than it works for the first time.
I have created the launcher for firefox default. So if I click second time on launcher than it doesn't work.

I've had this problem for maybe a month or so.
It's not that I can't buy books off of the itunes store, however, whenever I try to search for a book by language it doesn't work anymore. It simply says ''cannot connect to the store''. I tried doing it on both my phone and ipad, but got the same answer. How can I fix this problem?I'm not sure if I'm understanding but if I am then I'm not sure why you are turning your Wi-Fi off and on. It should automatically connect and use your Wi-Fi when it is available and use your cellular data connection when Wi-Fi is not available. I haven't turned either off ever. either you need to install the Ukrainian language completely (including supplementation) or if you plan to use the translation workbench for mass translation, you need to translate the texts included in the application you use.
Please note: If you plan to use Translation Workbench (SE63) for mass translation, supplementation in that system should be avoided (see e.g. SAP Note 353852) !

download doesn't work; i keep getting "unable to find firefox.exe" even when I open from program files folder; working onwindows xp with service pack 3
As you can see below, when I right click, I have no such option. In the User Account Settings, I'm operating as the "System Administrator".

Language-Pack L10N-Kit doesn't work
The kit seems to be installed in the same manner on both machines as support for
JDK 1.3. But on one machine the Kit works - on another one it doesn't.
Has anybody experience with this type of problem?

I've been having a similar problem, but a little more elaborate.
It started with my Finder switching on its own from US (my default) keyboard input to Hebrew. I would just switch back using the shortcut (command+space bar), a shortcut I have been using for years without problems. Now the shortcut is giving me problems, and sometimes doesn't work, as steveappleotp describes.
While in Safari, the shortcut failed to work. I checked my System Preferences for language input and nothing had changed. When I used the mouse to open the language input menu, 3 of the 6 languages were grayed out. But this doesn't happen consistently. All of a sudden everything is okay and I don't know how to recreate the problem.
Thought I would post this here as it's recent and related, but maybe I should start another thread.

I have recently attempted to download the Afrikaans Language Pack 4.0. After restarting Firefox the application doesn't function and does not appear on the Add-ons manager. The previous version of the Afrikaans dictionary worked well with Firefox 3.0.

How do i prevent lightroom from automatically applying a star rating to my images during my import?
i have consistently imported images, apply my metadata preset, location(folder). i then scroll thru my filmstrip and apply star ratings. suddenly my images are appearing with a one star rating automatically. not sure why?
