Language packs installed..but facing problem in translations

Hi All,
We are on ENH3 for Travel management.Language packs for FR,ES,PT and TR languages are installed.When i test the WD application for example for travel request by changing the application parameter sap-language from EN to any language its not working as it should be and showing up a mixture of DE and EN text.For DE it works perfectly.
I have checked some of the OTR alias and the text translations exists for all the languages.
Do we need to activate something for this.Any kind of pointers will be helpful.

Hi Folk,
You have to maintain local language descriptions in R/3. For example if you created expense types in english language, in portal if you log in German language, the drop down of expense type will show incorrect values. So you have to maintain local language description for each expense types. Pl let me know if you need any clarifications.

First of all, why did you say yes to Nero Back up before researching what it does with files already on the HDD? When I install Nero, the Back Up is the first thing I disable, it is a nagging pain, there are much better backup programs available. There are several file recovery programs out there to recover deleted files, that is, if that is what happened. Also, if you haven't overwritten the files, so you should be able to find them.

I'm expreriencing the same conditions with the same environment. Windows 8, iTunes-64 11.1.2.32, iTunes Store with a processing bar up to 80 +/- and the POPUP MESSAGE OF "iTunes stopped working. The error ...."
I UNINSTALLED, iTUNES WITH NO POSITIVE RESULT. I CHECKED THE FIREWALL AND IS THE SAME DEFINITION AS THE PREVIOUS ITUNES VERSION.
My iTunes StoreS from my iPhones ARE OK.

Follow the steps:
     Hierachy through flat file
     First create a flat file save as in .CSV format. Then close the file.
       Create info area in info object then info object catalog opens then create it then info object screen opens then another screen opens were you will give data type, length then select option hierarchy tab, then select it simply select the check box with hierarchies.
        Select attribute tab in that name, age, address, phone then activate it then come back to the main screen then select characters right click a small screen open then select info object then a small screen opens then create sales region and activate it.
     Then return back to the main screen then click characters right click on it then a small window opens then select info object option & create sales office and activate it.
     Then return to the main screen then select characters then the ID then the double click on it then the other screen opens select hierarchy tab then select external chars in hierarchies then click on it then other screen opens then select find tab then give the sales region info object name and click continue then it finds the name.
     The name would be scroll on the other screen then the office should be find the same way as region then office would be scroll on the other screen then continue and activate it.
     Then come back to the main screen then go to info source option then it opens then create application component then it opens other screen then click continue it
     Then create info source for master data then select direct update option there give the name of the info object of as ex; YID_AS2 then click continue.
     Then the YID_AS@ could be seen in the main screen then right click on it. Then a small option opens then click assign data source option then other screen opens there it gives the empty space double click on it then PC file then click continue then another window opens click continue then again screen opens click continue again a pop up screen opens click continue.
     Then another screen opens there the attribute data source then activate it then select hierarchy activate it then the left side data structure/ hierarchy then click on it then it opens another screen then click hire maintenance button .
     Then give the hierarchy name (your wish) then go with continue then yes then save then go back to the main screen.
     Then maintain the flat file as node id, info object, node name, link name, parent no.
     Then info package creation then click on the flat file right clicks on it then a other screen opens then select attribute data source and then continue.
        Then other screen opens then select external data tab in .CSV then click 1 the enter preview then another screen opens then click then it shows the preview then schedule then start then monitor click on it then it opens other screen then click on the master data then we can see the data then go back to the main screen.
     Then select the flat file right click on it then it gives other screen then select hierarchy in that then click continue then it opens other screen then select hierarchy selection tab there you can see the file name then select the button of hierarchy.
     Then select External data then the file name in CSV then processing tab only psa option with update subsequently in data targets then the update it schedule start then the monitor then go to the main screen.
     Then go to info object then select the file id which you have given then double click on it then select hierarchy or text file then the contents then execute it.
     Create a transaction table , cube in a normal way. We can see the result in reports we have to give the hierarchy name in the properties of rows where we drag the characteristics id then we can see the records which we have entered man usally after executing the report.

HP C5180 AIO: W7-x64 / HP AIO_CDA_Net_Full_Win_WW_130_140 pack installed, but does not function

Given:
1. local home network (wired)
2. HP C5180 attached to home network
3. Windows 7 Workgroup: WORKGROUP
4. other PC's Windows 7 x86/x64 can all print and scan via AIO C5180
5. IP address: 192.168.xx.yy is allocated to AIO
6. Installation of all HP software including drivers op PC W7 x64: succesfull installed message.
Problem:
After installation of HP software (most recent) AIO_CDA_Net_Full_Win_WW_130_140.exe
HP software process is ended with message: Installed with success.
However the C5180 AIO will not print and will not scan with this software.
If the HP Solution Center is started, HP devices local as well as LAN attached are NOT RECOGNIZED.
What did I do to solve the problem ?
1. uninstalled the HP software completely
2. HP Cleanup of software L1, L2, L3 and L4
3. reinstall all HP software: AIO_CDA_Net_Full_Win_WW_130_140.exe
4, after installation of this package: Installed with Success message.
5. Printing and Scanning not possible
6. HP Wizard Printer Install for Windows 7
no USB attached device found
LAN: no network attached device found.
So no success
7. HP Print and Scan Doctor 4.1.
HP Photosmart C5100 series detected.
IP address is known and shown
Selection: printer or scanning problem button
Select scanning problem button
Response the complete software solution for your product is not installed on your computer.
8. Via windows 7 driver search and install : HP driver, I can print from the PC to the C5180
Printing is possible via an added HP printer C5180 network attached.
Scanning is not possible.
9. Starting HP Solution Center (the platform for all scanning and printer functions of the AIO)
responds with: HP Solution Center can not be executed, because the installation of the device is not
completed. Connect via USB or execute the installation-CD of the installationprogram for the networkinstallation again. If CD not available reference is made to: HP software: AIO_CDA_Net_Full_Win_WW_130_140.exe which can be found on the HP website. (see above, this software already used).
Scanning and Printing is not Possible via HP Solution Center.

As alternative to check operation of C5180 AIO
11/. used Zoner 16 Photo Suite PRO to Acquire the HP C5180
as a WIA compatible scanner, to scan photo's.
Zoner 16 Photo Suite PRO did not recognize the HP C5180 AIO device.
What is causing this problem and is there a solution to get the C5180
operational on this Windows 7 x64 pc (via Solution Center of the HP
bundled software with this AIO)?
I want to scan and print documents/photo's.

The problem is NOT solved.
This an HP AiO related problem and many customers face this issue.
The best reference is to check all PC forums, one can see this issue does exist very long and is not solved by HP.
A full W7 reinstall does not guarantee the problem will be solved.
The standard HP support solution is reinstall your Windows 7.
This is not realistic, given the need to use the PC.
I have spent hours for diagnosing the issue.
I could solve the issue, it will just take time.
It is not my job, nor task to do this.
I expect HP to solve this issue.
I do not have the feeling, HP is seriously investigating this issue to find the solution.
If one provides all diagnostic info, w/o results nor feedback it just takes time.
If an AIO is 3 years old, the vendor is providing other AIO's with other software.
The pressure to find a solution, is not present anymore ?

Iphone 3G language pack/install language pack (DANISH/DANSK)

Hey! I somehow deleted or changed my language on the writing board... See... The language itself works, everything is on the language i want (DANISH LANGUAGE) but when i want to write somehing the language on the on the writing thing (DONT KNOW WHAT ITS NAMED. BASICLY ITS THE WHERE THE LETTER IS.) i is on english! Cause in Danish there is extra letters which is "Å" , "Ø" and "Æ".
So i want to ask where i can get a new language pack , or how to get a new, and then install it ??

6300 Russian Language Pack Install Required.

Hi All,
I have done a search, looking for information on istalling a new language on my wives new 6300.
We brought a new 6300 in New Zealand which uses English and Asian languages. Product code 0548156 and version 04.71 (just installed).
I was told that we could install Russian (wife is from Russia), but have not been able to find a way to make it happen.
I would be grateful if someone coud point me in the right direction.

You can't do it yourself, but a Nokia service point can add language packs.
Please note, however, that if you subsequently have the firmware upgraded you will revert to your original language selection and will have to start the process again.

Language Pack Install issue?

I currently have a system with 1 single LP installed.
That system is patched with both March Upadte(kb2767999) and the December 2013 CU
I am looking to upgrade to SP1 and Sept 2014 CU.
When I tru to install SP1 for the LP, I get the message to Repair or Remove?
Is this expected?
How would you reccmomend they updates be installed?
1. Sp1
2. Sp1 LP
3. Spet CU
Do you install the binaries on all systems then run Config wizzard one at a time?(this seems like what I see most)
Do you install 1 update, run config, and then install the other and run config?

Sorry, I am a bit confused.
When a Service Pack is released for SharePoint you have to install Language service pack as well.
However, the CU for the SharePoint are containing also updates for the Language Packs.
You can Patch to SP1 directly from RTM. If you add a new server to a farm you just make sure that you have installed all needed binaries to the patch level of the Farm where you will join the server in.
Lets say you have RTM SP Server and LP you have to patch it to SP1 (both SP and LP) in order to join the server to a Farm that is with binaries on SP1 Level.
However you can install slipstreamed versions of the product. In this case the slipstreamed installation media will include some update level.

I have an ipod touch 1st gen 32 GB. It stops playing music randomly. The battery has been replaced and I've tried restoring iOS 3.1.3 as a clean install but the problem persists. Any ideas? Thanks in advance!

The battery died so I had it replaced. Now it stops playing music (It was doing this before with the old battery when plugged into power cable)... it won't even make it through a whole track. I have tried turning off and on, turned off autolock and restored several times to 3.1.3 with no apps, just music but the problem persists.

Thank you for the speedy reply! I suspected it to be a hardware fault but found a lot of people online had experienced the same problem. What should I do? Obviously it is well out of warranty and the battery is literally brand new. Seems a sad waste if it cannot be repaired. I've yet to find a definitive answer or what to do, be it contact Apple etc....

I have OsX 10.9 installed and use Microsoft office for Mac 2011 for my business emails. before i not installed the antivirus as i thought MAC not get infected but my IT People always advice to install the Symantec anti virus. 2 months back out e-mail server get down as my system created too many junk E-mails (as per my IT staff).
now i have installed Symantac antivirus and no such E-mails. still everytime i scan my system i get visuses detected in outlook datafile.
shall appreciate your advice on the same to avoid viruses.

Any and all viruses in your Outlook email database would be from incoming attachments. Virtually 100% of them from Windows users who forward them, or get an email virus on their end which sends out the same email to everyone in their contact list. A few randomly come in with spam, such as a fake FedEx or UPS email saying the attachment is some sort of missed delivery notice, but is actually a Windows .exe file.
Any such email viruses do not work on the Mac OS. They can't. They require .dll files in the Windows OS, and Windows as the active OS itself to work. On your Mac, they're just a small amount of wasted disk space that can't do anything. The only way you could send them out is by forwarding an email you received with the attachment still in place.
As such though, a lot of businesses require Mac users to have AV software to catch such attachments so you know they exist and don't forward them. Otherwise, OS X still has very little need of AV software.
It's also not uncommon for AV software to report false positives. The viruses Symantec is detecting could be just that. Or, they still actually are on your Mac, but you can't see them. In a very odd decision, neither Entourage, or the new replacement Outlook for Mac actually delete anything from the email database, even after you remove it from the Deleted folder.
To really clear out the database, close Outlook. Hold down the Option key and launch it again. Instead of Outlook's normal interface, you'll get this:
Most users have only the one account, so this is likely what you'll see. Click the Rebuild button. It should only take a few seconds to run. More if your email database is large. When it's done, it will show two entries. One that again simply says "Main Identity", and another with a date after it. The one with the date is the original before rebuilding.
Close the MS Database Utility and launch Outlook normally. If everything looks as it should (check out your contacts list and live email you expect to be there), then the rebuild worked as expected without creating errors in the newly rebuilt database. Close Outlook.
Now go into your user account at:
/Users/your_account/Documents/Microsoft User Data/Office 2011 Identities/
You will find the same two folders there you saw in the utility. Main Identity, and Main Identity [date]. If you want, highlight both folders and do a Get Info (Command+I) on them and look at the size difference. If you've deleted hundreds, or thousands of emails from the Deleted folder within Outlook, especially if they were lots of attachments in them, the size difference could be huge. That difference is all of the inaccessible deleted emails that were still part of the database.
Put the Main Identity [date] folder in the trash and delete it. Now run your AV software. Any viruses that were still part of that old database are now truly gone and won't show up in a report.

Whatever I'm writing in hindi it is not coming properly.

You have to install the Hindi font

Print adobe form in local language (Hindi)
Make sure the two things available:
1. Embed fonts option enabled.
This option is available in Designer->File->Form Properties->Save Options panel
Important: This will work only for PDF files (not for XDP)
2. Adobe Reader Extended Languages support font pack installed on the target machine the Hindi font is not installed.
You have to include the hindi font in ADS . Refer to SAP note 1565508.
Also Refer to Note 1022238 - Form FP_TEST_42 for simple test of several fonts.

I need help. I've been trying to install east asian font encoder but everytime I try, it always says "failed and the installation has to abort." Can anybody help me? I tried installing once but it got deleted. Now, I can't install at all and I really need it. Please help me. My blackberry is Curve 8900. and I'm using a desktop sofeware for mac os x.

I had Downloaded and Installed an OS All Language pack install it on my PC getting Thai Character and font support as well as language and input support.I think you had messed up something. Ok so let start it from begaining ,Please do exactly as mentioned :
First of all Remove any OS packages from your PC or Laptop which you had installed .
1.Locate and download the OS Pack having All Language from here and Install it in your PC or Laptop Carriers
(make sure you are downloading for the same model as you have )
2. Download and install the latest BlackBerry desktop software from here BlackBerry desktop software
Then using desktop software perform your full backup of your device.
3.Search your C: drive for Vendor.xml and delete them, there may be one or two vendor.xml ( On your Pc change your folders option to show hidden files/folders ) :
C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Research In Motion\AppLoader
C:\Users\Windows UserName\AppData\Roaming\Research In Motion\BlackBerry\Loader XML
5. Go to C:\Program Files\Common Files\Research In Motion\AppLoader. (For 64-bit Vista or Windows 7, the path will be C: > Program Files x86 > Common Files > Research In Motion > AppLoader) double click Loader.exe.
After Installation of New OS I am sure you will the desired language.

I need to be able to type in Arabic on my macbook. I figured out how to change my typing language into Arabic but as soon as I type a word into a word document, I hit the space bar and it moves all the letters around. I was told by the help desk at my university it is because I do not have a "language pack" installed - whatever that means.

No version of MS Word for OS X has ever supported Arabic, Hebrew, or any Indic script. You must use another app. Mellel is the best. Also TextEdit, OpenOffice, Nisus Writer.

5700 hindi language pack

Once i have a hindi language installed on my device but after updating to V5.11 the default hindi language is all gone i can see the hindi message but im unable to type it
+ that TRANSLATION APP dosent work as i want use that hindi font for searching through the contacts
so now im stuck ..!!

how to add HINDI langauge in my device ..

The ONLY place where you can get the language pack installed is Nokia Care ..but I wonder if they too will do that for this more than 7 year old device ...
