Language Packs X86 Windows 8.1 update

Hello,
in the past, i could shoud before installing an OS with language is installed.
At the moment this isn`t working for me anymore for X86-images --> x64 images are working ok.
The langue-packs i have installed in MDT are the following :
Maybe i need the 9600-image of the language pack? But i can not find that one on the microsoft download-page.
Anybody with a solution for this?
Thx

After upgrading to 8.1, my system restored back to english and now unable to set Japanese as windows display language. What should I do? Thanks
    I had a similar problem:
Original Windows 8 was in Portuguese, but I'd installed a English (US) Language Pack and used Windows most of time with English set as display language.
After updating to 8.1, I couldn't download the English Language Pack.
Windows displayed a message to connect to internet in order to downlad the language pack, eventhough the computer was already connected.
The solution that worked for me was going to advanced language settings (Run dialog -> "::{26EE0668-A00A-44D7-9371-BEB064C98683}\0\::{BF782CC9-5A52-4A17-806C-2A894FFEEAC5}\CommonLangSettings") and choose "Use language list (recommended)" in "Override
    for Windows display language"
After that, the language pack could be downloaded normally from English's Language Options

    Hi Mikesk88,
In case there might be some system files missing, type the following command in CMD, with admin rights:
    Dism /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth
    Reference:
    Fixing component
store corruption in Windows 8 and Windows Server 2012
Then try to download the language pack again.

  • Office 365 with Office 2013 MSI Language Pack on Windows 7 machine.

    Hello All,
I have Office 2013 MSI Language Pack installed on Windows 7 machine. After deploying Office 365 using ODT, Lync is crashing.
Is Office 2013 MSI Language Pack compatible with Office 365?
    Thanks in Advance !!

    Hi,
Have you checked the log file? Does it record the error details there?
So you only have the language pack on your computer, not the entire Office 2013 instance? Office 2013 MSI Language Pack doesn't work with Office 365. Try to remove the language pack then try again.
Also, to plan a multi-language deployment of Click-to-Run-based Office installations, please refer to this article:

It's recommended to download and install

  • Cannot install chinese language pack on windows 8.1

Hi , I just bought HP Pavilion 500-338d installed with Windows 8.1 for x64-based Systems.     I don't know why cannot install chinese language pack. By the way, I had checked with Microsoft team and then they said to refer to manufacturer side. Attached picture is my problem. Please help me. Thank You.

It depends on the version of Windows you have.
If you have Windows Single Language version (see screenshot below), you can change your keyboard layout language, but you can't change your Windows display language.

    Hello all,
Where can I find the language packs for WIndows 2012 r2? I can't use Windows updates so get them. I'm trying to find a manual download. I have a MSDN account but I don't see language packs on the MSDN site. Are they located on the site? I think I need a

I would greatly appreciate if someone can give me a hand in solving this problem. Thank you for your help in advance.

    Hi,
You can download Windows language pack as Windows 7 for Windows 8, 8.1. In addition, you also can download the language pack as you like in Control Panel in Windows 8.x.
The link below is about Windows Language Pack introduction, please take it as reference:

  • Windows 8.1 - Update 1

In the SCCM 2012 R2 console, looking through All Software Updates, we can see KB2919355, but not the associated Features Packs shown below.  We do see other Feature Packs but not the ones required below.
    Feature Pack for Windows (KB2932046)
    Feature Pack for Windows (KB2934018)
    Feature Pack for Windows (KB2937592)
    Update for Windows (KB2919355)
    reference http://www.ghacks.net/2014/05/15/find-version-windows-8-running/
Does anyone see the above Feature Packs under their All Software Updates ?  (I wonder if Microsoft has released these to software update servers)
    Thanks

    Feature Pack for Windows (KB2932046)
    Feature Pack for Windows (KB2934018)
    Feature Pack for Windows (KB2937592)
these updates are not listed in MUcatalog website, so it's unlikely that they would appear in WSUS sync feed (which is used by ConfigMgr SUM)
but, those updates article numbers do appear in the KB article describing 2919355 (File information section of the article), so, these 3 "feature pack" items seem to be bundled inside 2919355???
    https://support.microsoft.com/kb/2919355
My laptop does have Win8.1u1 installed.
On my laptop, these 3 "Feature pack" KBnumbers, are not listed in any of the "updates installed" displays:
    a) WMI quickfixengineering class (2919355 exists but not the other three)
    b) Modern PC Settings app, Update history/View your update history (2919355 exists but not the other three)
    c) classic control panel/windows updates/installed updates (2919355 exists but not the other three)
So, I think you are looking for something which doesn't exist as a separate download/update file.
You get these three update packages, only as part of applying KB2919355.

  • N96 language pack-czech

Hallo, I bought new N96 in UK but I have not czech language there. How can I get in my device czech language-I have new software but still in english:
    software ver 11.018
language set 001 without czech or slovak
    please help

Take your phone to a Nokia Care Point and ask them to install the Czech language pack.
The absence of Czech on a phone designed for the UK market is not a fault in the phone so there may be a charge for the installation of the language pack.
Also note that the language pack may not survive a reset of the phone. User Data Preservation on the N96 means that the language pack should survive a firmware update.

  • IE 11 installation with Downloaded language packs

    Hi,
I am trying to install IE 11 on a Windows 7 machine. ALl the pre-reqs have been downloaded and installed and if I try to install it its installing fine.
But, in the log file I have found that its trying to download and install 4 language packs. I have added those 4 language in WIndows 7.
I have those language packs installed locally, is there a way that it takes the language packs locally instead of downloading it from internet during its installation.
    Thanks Chandan

    Hello Chandan,
Do you mean that you want to use the language packs for Windows 7 as language packs for Internet Explorer?
We could take a look at the following article about language packs for Internet Explorer.
    http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=40904
The file size is about 1.1MB in average.
We could download the language package for Windows 7 from the following article.
    http://windows.microsoft.com/en-HK/windows/language-packs#lptabs=win7
The file size of language packs for Windows are much bigger than the packs for Internet Explorer.
They are different, we can’t use the local Windows language package for Internet Explorer.

  • Windows 8 installation failure with German language pack

    Hi,
I have a Lenovo ThinkPad Edge E330 with Windows 8. We just received it over Xmas - nice product. Just one Thing so far: I can't get the German language pack installed. Language, Keyboard layout and other regional Settings are set to German. After downloading the German language pack through Language->German->options->Download and Install Language pack (German Language Pack - Windows 8 for x64-based Systems - (KB2607607) [de-DE_LP])I always run into the following error during the Installation (download seems to be fine, error happens after about 2/3 of the Installation - if you believe the Progress bar). From the Event Viewer:
Installation Failure: Windows failed to install the following update with error 0x80070002: German Language Pack - Windows 8 for x64-based Systems - (KB2607607) [de-DE_LP].
I already tried quite some stuff without success: no pending Upgrades, several reboots, switching off Firewall/anti-Virus, selective reboot just with Winodws Services and Startup stuff, ... No success.
Does anybody have seen a similar Problem? Anybody with a solution to get the German language pack finally installed?
Thanks in advance for your Support,
    Ingo
