Language selection @ infopackage for 0sales_grp_text

Dear All,
I have a problem with language selection at infopackage.
The Langu field is available in the datasource ( 0sales_grp_text ) for selection but at infopackage it is not displayed.
please provide your inputs..

Hi,
If ur loading data to time dependent object , again for that those are maintained on time dependent basis(in ECC) then ucan assign those fields also
when in info object level u select the time dependent tab(it will be there in Attribute tab) then info object level also u can get the to data from date.
as per the present requirement need not required just leave it with selection language u can load the data,

look in OSS Note 324684 'Selections for language and time-dependence'...
"If a field of a DataSource - typically with field name 'LANGU' or 'SPRAS' - is assigned to InfoObject '0langu', the field is not provided in the selection fields although the field actually can be selected. In this case, all languages of the language vector active in the BW System are requested by the source system but the language selection cannot be defined in the Scheduler.
A precondition is that the language field of the DataSource in the source system is maintained as selection field. This setting is done in Transaction RSA6 (or RSO2 for customer developments)."

ABAP routine in the infopackage for Multiple Selection

Hi experts,
I want to include a abap routine in the infopackage for Multiple Selection so that I can fetch only the required Material Numbers when the InfoPackage is schedule. As I have the constraints that I have to select certain Material Numbers only, that are not in series - so I cannot select"BT' fuction. Tell me what ABAP Code will work in this scenario.

ABAP Routine in InfoPackage for selection

Hello,
I have 2 InfoPackages for loading from ODS1 to ODS2. InfoPackage 1 is restricted via ABAP Routine to load only certain customer numbers.
InfoPackage 2 is supposed to load all other customer numbers - therefore the ABAP Routine makes ranges that exclude the customer numbers selected in InfoPackage 1.
Now I face the fact that the selection of InfoPackage 2 is much to small in numbers. Problem is, the ranges only work when entered manually - but via ABAP entry these ranges don`t work. I can`t understand why this problem happens. Do you have an idea?
Example (first number is from, 2nd number is to)
InfoPackage 1: customer numbers
5| 5
100|100
999|999
InfoPackage 2: customer numbers
0|4
4|99
101|998
1000|99999
But selection of InfoPackage 2 does not work propberly...

no, that was just a typing mistake. Sorry.
The problem is, that in Monitoring I can see the selection and it looks good.
But when I check the number of datasets selected it is far to small. Therefore I don`t believe the selection works.
I tried manually to put all the ranges selected by ABAP Routine in InfoPackage 2 in another InfoPackage 3 - the selection is identically to InfoPackage 2 (but not made via ABAP, but manually) and in Monitoring the selection looks absolutly alike.
But the manuall InfoPackage 3 selects far more records than InfoPackage 2.
I can`t understand the problem. Can you? Can you give me advice?

Language selection for spell check keeps reseting to "none"

On Macbook Air, OS X 10.7.2, Pages '09, the language selection for spell check resets to none as soon as I begin to type in the document

I use Windows, and it is exactly as you said, Sir Hup.
I made the change, in the drop-down list in the dialog box, in my case from 'English' (which I have to assume is US English) to 'Australian English'.
The problem I am encountering is that making that change doesn't stick for the browser as a whole, but only for the input box on the tab, the dialog box was opened on.
How do I get the change to apply for spell checking in the browser as a whole?

Why Photoshop CS6 does not include language selection ? dont want it on win8 language, I want in eng

Right now I am installing the programs on my new 64 bits computer , which runs windows 8 in a language which is not english.
At the very beginning of the setup I noticed that it detected the language of sist. op. and that it would install cs6 in such language.
I am very, very ,very upset with this and I will tell you the reason : the best in terms of literature , pdfs books , tutorials , support forums ,etc is written in ENGLISH !
If I install cs6 I will have all menus , tools and resources in other language and it will be very cumbersome to work with it.
Perhaps with the best of the intention to make people feel comfortable with their own language you have made it this way.
But there are several other guys like me that want it IN ENGLISH.
As a long time user of photoshop I never worked in other language than english and I will never do it.
It looks like it is a new trend to detect the op sistem language , I have had the same problem with Nero Platinum 12 , and others.
Is there a way to install Cs6 in english ?
I have no idea whether adobe developers team read this forum but I will give my suggestion : don´t leave the setup to choose the language , this is dictartoship , be democratic and bring back the language selection menu.

The setup choice only defines the language for the EULA.
You download the version for whichever language you want the app to be in.

1. Creation of Info Objects
In left panel select info object
Create info area
Create info object catalog ( characteristics & Key figures ) by right clicking the created info area
Create new characteristics and key figures under respective catalogs according to the project requirement
Create required info objects and Activate.
2. Creation of Data Source
In the left panel select data sources
Create application component(AC)
Right click AC and create datasource
Specify data source name, source system, and data type ( Transaction data )
In general tab give short, medium, and long description.
In extraction tab specify file path, header rows to be ignored, data format(csv) and data separator( , )
In proposal tab load example data and verify it.
In field tab you can you can give the technical name of info objects in the template and you not have to map during the transformation the server will automatically map accordingly. If you are not mapping in this field tab you have to manually map during the transformation in Info providers.
Activate data source and read preview data under preview tab.
Create info package by right clicking data source and in schedule tab click star to load data to PSA.( make sure to close the flat file during loading )
3. Creation of data targets
In left panel select info provider
Select created info area and right click to create ODS( Data store object ) or Cube.
Specify name fro the ODS or cube and click create
From the template window select the required characteristics and key figures and drag and drop it into the DATA FIELD and KEY FIELDS
Click Activate.
Right click on ODS or Cube and select create transformation.
In source of transformation , select object type( data source) and specify its name and source system Note: Source system will be a temporary folder or package into which data is getting stored
Activate created transformation
Create Data transfer process (DTP) by right clicking the master data attributes
In extraction tab specify extraction mode ( full)
In update tab specify error handling ( request green)
Activate DTP and in execute tab click execute button to load data in data targets.
4. Monitor
Right Click data targets and select manage and in contents tab select contents to view the loaded data. There are two tables in ODS new table and active table to load data from new table to active table you have to activate after selecting the loaded data . Alternatively monitor icon can be used.

My macbook is stuck on a grey screen with language select and every time i click english it brings me back to the same gray page what do i do?

Also i dont have enough monet to go to the apple store to get it fix and another thing this happen after i tried to factory reset it without the disck uising coomans i found on youtube.Lastly befor doing the comands my macbook would open any applications and the finder would just blink on and off on the dock.

Shut down your computer and disconnect all peripherals (keyboard & mouse if pertinent) from your computer. Now reboot.
If the Mac starts up normally, shut it down again and then plug in one of the peripherals (keyboard or mouse first) and start up your computer again. If it does so successfully repeat the process, adding one peripheral at a time until your Mac acts up. At that point, disconnect the last peripheral you added, reboot your Mac and search the peripheral vendor's website for an updated driver.

If you still want to restore your computer to factory level...
Start up from your install disc, go to Disk Utility and select the disk and click erase - to securely erase data click Security Options and Erase Free Space which will entirely wipe your disk, overwriting it with zeros so that no data is recoverable.

CAD "Select reason for not ready" not appearing for some agents? Please help!

I have some users who when they click on 'Not Ready' in CAD (Cisco Agent Desktop) - they are not presented with the 'Select Reason for Not Ready' dialog box - it just goes straight to Not Ready.
I have searched high and low but have not found any suitable results (maybe I'm doing it all wrong?).

Is there an individual setting which needs to be set on each user in CUCM or UCCX in order for this to be triggered?

How to handle different languages in Illustrator for big clients?

Hi Guys,
I need small suggestio for 'How to handle different languages in illustrator for big clients'. For instance; Arabic, this is a language which needs to be read from right to left instead of left to right. There are other strange languages as well (Cyrillic, Chinese etc.). It happens also that when you copy strange languages from a word file it will not be easy to paste it the correct way in a .ai file. Besides that, it’s also difficult to do a language check when we are not able to read it!. So, to make a long story short, I want to figure out how we can deal with multiple language circles?
Can you some please give me the solution for this...

I take it you might come from an arabic background.
Here is how you can help yourself to some degree.
Google has a translation feature and service which is at the moment free. It is excellent.
Secondly if you are working with ME languages you really need the ME version of Illustrator or any other Creative Suites Application in order for it to work properly.
It, is also best to enable the language and the input for that language for your system on the Mac it is easy you go to the Language and text feature in theSystem Preferences, once enabled you can select the fro the menu bar under the American flag if you are in the US. Thst will appear once you have more than one language selected.
You select the language input you need and then a font for that language then paste and edit.
You need fonts on your computer that are of those languages as well.
How to manage this as a work flow well that is something you will have to work on yourself or hire a consultant who specializes in this area.
We had a few visit here when they have come across a snafu. So they exists.

Netflix Language selection

Ok, I've looked at some of the posts, all great posts. But, none answer my question. I have the Apple TV And I do not have a Apple TV remote control. I use the remote app on my iPad to control the Apple TV.. I'm a huge Anime fan and some are in Japanese with the option to watch in English Dub. It defaults and starts up in Japanese and I don't know how to use my Remote App to select the English versions of the shows I want to watch. Does the remote app have the ability to do language select?

I just got off the phone with Netflix support. Specifically for Iron Man 2 and one of the Transformers movies it's a known issue. There is a temporary fix:
1. Sign in to netflix.ca
2. Change your account settings for video quality to anything except Best/HD.
And that's it. I just tested it myself and it worked. He said you may have to wait an hour for the changes to come into effect, but I just logged out and then logged in to my Apple TV Netflix and it was done.
He also mentioned this is a temporary workaround and they are working on it. Basically when they rent movies for use, they are given a package of different qualities and languages and they accidentally put the French HD in the English HD "slot".

I have one Report Writer Report.
In that Report I have created Basic Sets, Single sets and Multi Sets for G/L Account.
I need to output this Report in two different language.
1) Engish
2) Chinese
But I need to put the option on Selection Screen for Language Selection (whether English or Chinese).
How to add this option on Selection Screen. Please Guide me soon.

But when I hev created the sets, I have given the description of G/L Accounts in English. But when I will run the Report using Cinese as Logon language, how output will come in Chinese.
1) Is there a need to maintain /L Accounts in Chinese language.
2) or Shall i create the sets by giving description for G/L Accounts in Chinese If Yes then how to hadndle at run time..
please guide I am new to Report writer.

Assigning multi-language selection texts to a transport

Currently I am trying to add new languages to selection texts for custom abaps. To add the selection texts I am using the following steps:
Go into Tcode SE38.
Enter the program name, select Text Elements and click the Change button.
Go to the Selection texts tab.
In the menu, click on Goto --> "Translation"
When the popup appears, enter the translation language.
Expand the worklist until you get to the Text elements for the program.
Double click on the program line and then enter the new values.
I am able to exit at this point and the changes get saved. The problem is that by default they are saved to the $TMP development class. What is the best way to assign these to a transportable development class and then on to a transport?

Hi, I was told that there is a field for language selection in the business partner master data. But I don't see any.
Does anyone know where it is, if it exists at all?

Hi,
First you have to enable Multi Language Option in SAP Business One. To do so go to Administration > System Initialization > Company Details > Basic Initialization and tick the box for Multi Language Support.
After that you can see the language option in your Business Partner.

I believe you are working in BW 3.5, then in the Infopackage select the tab :"Data targets" and select the radial buttom "update in all data targets for which update rules exist". Surely, if there are no update rules you will not be able to load data.
