Language Translations of Adobe Forms

Hi,
My question is regarding language translations in Adobe Form. I have translated the adobe form in various languages, now I want to check in how many languages I already translated? Is there any way by which I can check the translations??

HI friend,
Just try this transaction SE63.
In that There are menu called GOTO and WORKLIST.
Check the options in those two. I don't have sufficient authorization to check the things. I think it will provide you the required information.
Please revert back me if you find a solution or if i am wrong. SO that i will try some other option.

Problem with translation of Adobe forms

Right now I am working with Adobe forms.
While Translating the forms from English into Spansih I am encountering a problem.
Even though it is Translated into spanish, if I login in spanish (ES) and see the Text is stil in English.
the text is in 'TEXT' field.
Kindly, Help me in solving the problem.

When translating your form MAKE SURE YOU LOGIN TO SAP WITH THE TARGET LANAGUAGE FOR TRANSLATION!
For example, if you have an english form and want to translate it to spanish, login in spanish, go to SFP and do your translation to spanish. It should have a pop-up shown that says "original language" is English....keep it as that.
Not sure why it works this way, but it does. I would love to be able to login in English and then simply do all my other translations from there, but it doesn't work that way.

Language Conversion for Adobe form using Web Dynpro

I want to convert the whole adobe form which have created in English to some other language using web dynpro. Is it possible.

Hi Gaurav,
Gudday.
You can very well view a single adobe form in different languages by maintaining the translations in the desired language using the path
tools->translation->select the language->translate pdf form
on selecting the language,the text will be displayed in source language ....using the menu tabs copy the source text and maintain the texts in the required language.

Maintain Translation for ADOBE Form

Dear All,
I have a requirement of viewing the form in the user's Login language.
I created a form with the all the required fields. its working perfectly in English. When i login with French language the form display in English. how to make changes so that i can able to view the form in French.
Even i have maintain the Translation for the Adobe form.

Hi Ron,
Goto Se63 Tcode --> enter PDFB in Command Field then enter the form name and convert to what ever Language you want.

Translation of adobe forms (f.e. PTRV_EXPENSE_FORM)

Experts,
In the Travel Management application in ESS the generated travel form (PTRV_EXPENSE_FORM) is displayed in German. What settings need to be done for displaying this form in Dutch or English? I don't know where to start, so any help will be very welcome.

In the interface linked with my layout i add a parameter name RECIPIENT_LANGUAGE typing SYLANGU .
Line: -
For SMARTFORM Text process as follow
In the context of the layout i define field as Text Module with thoses attributes :
- text name value 'ZTOTO' ( it's a sample name )
- text language value field RECIPIENT_LANGUAGE
- No error if text not available set to TRUE
- Copy style from Text Module set to TRUE
In the layout i put this text element in a sub-windows.
Then you have to create your smartforms text and populate it in the different language you want thru transaction SE63 for translation .
Line: -
For SAPSCRIPT Text process as for SMARTFORMS text except for the field define in the context, it should be define as Include Text .
Line: -
When you call your form populate the attribute RECPIENT_LANGUAGE with the value you want . If none text of your forms exist in the language you want the system process the text with the default language of the forms ( creation language ) .
If at least one text exist in the language requested all text will be process with it even if some translation are missing ( in this case you will got empty value ) .

Translation of Adobe Form

When testing the Output the result is in German not English.

Adobe Form translation in to different languages

Can you please guide me through the procedure/process of "how to translate Adobe forms in to a different languages".

There are two methods to translate any Adobe form.
First method :
login to the target language
Go to SFP --> enter the form name
Click on Change
Click on Goto -> translation
Original language will be autopopulated. Enter the target language in which you want the texts to be translated into., eg FR (French) and enter
You will see the tree for translation objects. Expand the package name and then PDFB. Under PDFB you will find your form name --> Double Click.
A translation editor will open up.
Navigate to Object Menu --> Copy Source text.
The entire XML for the form will be copied in the target language window with all static text literals highlighted in blue.
Replace the english text (blue text) with the French text ( target language text) and save.
Thats all. The form will be now translated, run the application and provide the target language in the URLis the target language.. sap-language=FR
Also there is Second method.:
1)You have to create the form in target language and attach in webdynpro layout as your original language
2)In the context of the view define two new attributes (VISIBILE and VISIBILE_FR ) with type as "WDUI_VISIBILITY"
3 )Now in webdynpro layout attach this form same as your English form and bind the visible property of interactive forms( both EN and FR form) with the VISIBILE and VISIBILE_FR attributes respectively.
4) Now through any initial method you can set the value of VISIBILE =u2019 02 u2018and VISIBILE_FR =u2019 01u2019 for English form to visible and vice versa for Fr form
Choose the convenient option .

I created XML schema based interface and if a execute interactive form in Webdynpro, i am unable to pass launguage(LANGU) parameter. because InteractiveForm element property does not have language key parameter.
Apart from creating different language dependent forms, is there any alternate way we can pass the LANGU key parameter to Interactive Adobe form???

Let me share my few more investigation on the same, I chaged form each element property to login language.
and translated form to other languages. If directly execute form in sfp with loging in different language i am getting right result. it means even no need to pass the LANGU parameter.
But same thing if i execute from Webdynpro i am getting default 'EN' language form, even though i login in 'DE' language.

Hi,
As far as i know when you use Adobe forms in a WD4A application, language is your "web" connection language.
You can have a look at standard class CL_WD_ADOBE_SERVICE, it's used when generating an adobe forms from WD4A. , more particulary look at method DETERMINE_DOCPARAMS.

Adobe Form - Translation

Hello All,
Could anybody pls help us in translating adobe forms?
We have to translate the adobe form developed originally in English to French.
We tried using se63 and also directly through sfp.
But nothing seems working when it comes to portal side. We are able to see the French translated values when we execute the Adobe form separately - > through print preview.
Also, the language key is also mentioned correctly in the link!
Please let us know where we are going wrong..

and saved the object already. My question is that when will this Russian form be displayed? when the program is run in an environment where language = 'RU'?
What if I have to display the russian form if VBRK-WAERK(currency) = 'KZT' ?

Translations - Adobe Forms in SAP

So this is a Q that I have for all you experts. Has anyone coordinated the Transaltions effort with Forms in SAP. I am basically seeking help with the format that will be best suited to have forms transated in different languages - field to field mapping. any recommendation will be highly appreciated. Hello Harish,
To find the translation of Adobe form is nothing but to find the labels or texts used in this adobe form in various languages. This will give you an idea on how many languages your adobe form has been translated.
So to find the translations in different languages, you have to go to Context node of the Adobe form. Then go through the text nodes which are used as labels. These will be normally stored as Standard texts in SO10.
For example. Take the text name of any one text node.
1) Go to SE38.
2) Type program RSTXTRAN.
3) Let the Text key - object be TEXT.
4) Then enter this text name in the field Text key - name. I have put the sample standard text ZTEST_ADOBE as shown below.
5) Let the Text key - ID be ST.
6) In Text key - language, Enter * (i.e enter the Asterisk) because you want to find out all the languages.
The screen parameters will be as shown below.
7) Now Execute this report.
8) It will show all the various languages in which this particular standard text is used which is nothing but the Adobe form is being used in these many languages. For example, the standard text ZTEST_ADOBE is used in 3 languages, English, German and Spanish as shown below. It will look as shown below.
Note: This will give you the more or less the overall idea of the form that has been used in these many languages. But also make sure the standard text with particular language is also linked with the Transport Request. Because there are chances that the text was created in a particular language but was never used.

Adobe Form Translation : Text Fields

Hi All,
I am trying to translate Type : Textfield in Adobe using SE63.
Type: Text is translated but not Type : TextField.
any suggestion why this is not happening or is this the way SAP is built for Translations in Adobe forms.

Upload Dutch Language Adobe form.

Dear Experts
I am trying to upload one the Dutch Language High Commission Adobe form to adjust the as required the client. It is reading the from In SFP but it is in the Dutch language. It is showing some thing diffrent than what is there in Adobe.
Can any body help me how i can solve this ?

Problem in language Translation

Hi Experts,
I am having problem in language translation of smart form.
I have include all text as text element and have done translation in SE63. But when I login in to translated language the output remains in English.
I have made the translation from English to Chinese in SE63.
Please suggest why the output does not come into translated language.

I have been working on translations for 8 months now. I think i can resolve your issue.
Remember one thing in mind when you do translations firstly when you go to se 63 and make some changes make sure that you have not opened the smartform in Change mode. If you do so then you will face this sort of probelm. As per your messages i think you have already checked the language in the form
If not make sure you do it. Now try again in SE63 make changes in what ever langauage you are doing and then "saveactive" .
One more final thing if anytext in smartform say &invoivce_no& is blank in smartform then it will not show up in se63 i think you know about this.
