Laptop and Monitor keep refreshing

I have a MBP 2.4 CD2 running 10.6.1. I've connected it to two different external monitors, one Samsung Synchmaster 32" and a Sony 50" HD LCD. Initially the signal is fine and the video is good. After a couple of minutes the screen on both the laptop and the monitor start refreshing, alternating between a blue screen and a black screen. It continues and makes the external option unusable. This happens with both the miniDV out to HDMI and VGA.

I am having the same issue. Both screen go blue for anywhere from a milli-second to seconds. Sometimes moving the mouse corrects, sometimes not. I am using a Sony - HS74P monitor and currently have it setup with Mini DVI to DVI connection. Wondering if I get a Mini DVI to VGA will the issue be resolved?

What's the precise text of the error message, please? (There's a few different ones I can think of that you might be getting.)

I finally managed to fix this problem! You have to go into your program files and you will see another bearshare folder, this has two add on components for firefox. Go into the folders, and find the uninstall program tools.
One of them will uninstall here. There is a program called media mrg or something along those lines in your add ons for firefox. You need to delete this, and it should stop bearshare popping up in the tabs. Then just to make sure, I went back and deleted the bearshare folder. You know you have disabled all the right components when it will finally let you delete the folder.

Having an issue with my Hp Pavilion Elite HPE-541F and Monitor HP2311x
Yesterday, thinking I was updating Java ... clicked on it and agreed to things being allowed on computer ... started adding icons to my desktop .... then pop ups kept coming up to register etc ... I assumed that something was wrong so I attempted to restore system to previous ... since then my system will not boot up ... will say "starting windows" and I can hear the fans working but thats it ... second part of the issue is that the monitor keeps going to sleep, so even if I try to restart the computer in "safe" mode or anything else monitor goes to sleep and there's nothing on the screen so don't know if anything is doing anything .... Very sorry I'm also not very tech savy with computers ... just trying to save time and money before I have to bring system to computer repair person .... Any help would be appreciated .... I tried to sync my iPhone 4S to new work laptop and it keeps buzzing, won't sync

I just got a new Dell laptop for work and installed iTunes. When I hooked up my iPhone 4S to my laptop, Windows first showed that it was installing some driver and then iTunes opened, and then my phone just kept repeat buzzing. I noticed the battery icon & bluetooth icon at the top right of phone screen kept flickering. I opened Control Panel-Device Manager-Bluetooth Devices and a Bluetooth Mobile Device icon would pop up and then disappear repeatedly.
I tried disabling the Bluetooth driver, and then disconnected and re-connected my phone - iTunes opened up again but I still got the repeat buzzing, and an error message that iTunes could not connect to phone.
I still have my old laptop and it connects and syncs my phone no problem.
Not sure what is the problem or what to do next?
I'm guessing my IT dept will just tell me that they don't support iTunes and that I'm on my own with this issue.
