Laptop broken - no Nokia Music for 3 months?

Hi!
I had installed Nokia Music (and activated my Comes with Music PIN) on my laptop and discovered while downloading that my wlan was to unstable to get good download speed... Then when I was about to plus in the network cable I dropped the laptop to the floor - by accident! - and broke it's screen and apparently some other stuff since it is no longer starting up.... Now my problem is that I can't use this CWM for another 90 days since I did get it registred on the now defunct laptop... Is there any way to have it "de-registred" before the 90 days?!?

Dissapointed for Nokia Music services

I have to admit that I'm more than dissapointed for the Nokia Music service. I have E90, thus not being the Nokia Music device, I really hope Nokia advertised Music models don't have these kind of problems I have met. And I think problem are not technical but rather the logic how implementation has been done. Here are m y concerns
1) I wonder why Nokia Music application and E90 has nothing to do with each other i.e. I cannot load music from Nokia Music to my E90?
2) Instead I have to use PC suite but that doesn't work as the music I have downloaded is protected!
3) Prize for download is huge compared to any other music download service in internet.

Sorry to hear of your disappointment.
The Nokia E90 unfortunately does not support playback of DRM protected music. You can play normal mp3s ripped from your own CDs, but not protected songs like those from the music store.

For compatible devices, PC Suite does NOT transfer DRM protected tracks. You need to download NOKIA MUSIC for PC for a mobile optimized transfer:

The USB connection for transferring songs must be "MEDIA" (like "Media Player" / "Media Transfer" / or "Printing and Media" ) PC Suite or Data Transfer will not work
Not sure what you mean about the price of music being high. Tracks are 1euro in most of Europe and I think 80 pence in the UK. 1 cent higher than iTunes. The price of an over the air download via wifi is the same as PC, which is unlike most operator music stores which often charge premium prices for mobile downloads.

It worked before but after I installed IE8 it no longer works. De-installing IE8 does not help. Ik heb een Asus met Vista SP1, 32 bits.

Nokia Music v2.0 not working on Lumia 710

Hi, i just downloaded the Nokia Music for my Lumia 710, but everytime when it launches, it shows "Can't Launch Nokia Music" because my phone software is too old. However, the zune said i have the latest update as per today. How to fix it? Thanks, and sorry if this have been discussed before.

Main problem is, few people know, at least claims to know more than others, I am using Nokia Music on my Unlocked Lumia 800 for almost 2 months, So, It's already available in India.
A temporary solution provided on following post.

I can't download from Nokia Music

MY phone is Nokia Asha 200. It comes with UNLIMITED DOWNLOADS from Nokia Music for 3 months. But now Nokia Music is not opens in my mobile. Every time their is a file named "client_log.txt" is saved to images folder on the mobile.
It takes all the free memory in the mobile,so I deleted that file.
After that the Nokia Music client is not working.

Nokia Music - Create a Mix / Personalize not worki...

I have subscribed to Nokia Music + for $3.99 a month to take advantage of the added features etc.
But... when I go to "Create a Mix" and "personalize" then click on "create music profile" it scans my phone, finds about 956 songs... then gives me a message:
Are you connected?
Looks like there's no internet connection.
Check and try again.
Of course I'm connected. I have 5 bars of AT&T LTE, and at home I'm connected to my super fast Xfinity WIFI where I get close to 40Mbps downloads on my phone (according to the Speedtest app).
So.. what gives here?

Nevermind... I figured it all out.
All I had to do was to first download the PC music scanner from http://music.nokia.com/us/en/scanner
Ran that, then all of a sudden my create a mix/personalized music works on my 920!

Can't Search or Browse in Itunes Store; nothing happens. Tried everything for months!

Haven't been able to purchase I-Tunes music for months. When I go to I-Tunes Store, it won't let me Search or Browse music; nothing happens. It won't let me past a home page for I Tunes Store which contains advertising and a request to upgrade to the newest version, which I did. Some time ago I changed the authorization to a new e-mail address, but made sure it was properly authorized in I Tunes. Running Mozilla Firefox. Please help. Nothing works, nothing helps. Internet connection is fine.

I don't use the new iTunes but yours is the only post I have seen stating this issue. The only time I have seen similar behavior is if you try to do this with a
bad link ( ! ). Additionally make sure the item you wish to drag is checked.
Dragging does not move an item, it adds it and leaves the original in place.

I live in America . Just bought a 808 pureview . Nokia music for symbian is not avaliable in the USA . My phone is an internatioal version so it has the nokia music app (just no option for the USA under countrys) . What would happen if i set up music for like Mexico or Britian ? Would it work ? It says that once you chose a country it can not be unchosen so im worried .

Nokia Music Unlimited is only available in three countries, namely India, China and Indonesia. Let's say that the phone has been manufactured and sold in one of those countries which supports the feature, you will still not be able to use it as you are not in a country which supports it. On my lumia everthing works good.
When i'm trying to use nokia music on my windows 8 PC i allways get attached screen.
Probably i see this massage in all ways if i try to use trial or try to sign in.

Can you check the "Language and Region" settings on both devices if it's identical? Note that this can be the reason why it's not working.

Try:
- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode
How to put iPod touch / iPhone into DFU mode « Karthik's scribblings
- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- Try another cable
- Try on another computer
- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

Without OVI Music for four months

Hello. I bought a Nokia 5130-c2 set last year (August 2010). The reason I bought it was that I could download songs from the Nokia Ovi Music Store. I was able to download a lot of songs the first few months. Then, one day, I don't know what happened, the whole software started to act weird. I was able to download songs, but when I try to play them, the yellow exclamation symbol appears (seems like DRM was not downloaded?). This continued for about three months. Last month, I removed the whole software, delete the Application files, and registry keys and re-installed the software. Now, OVI homepage isn't even loading! It shows "We are very sorry.... cannot access..." What can I do? Will a clean format of my computer help? Thanks. Btw, I was once able to put a downloaded file onto Windows Media Player, which acquired the license and played the file. The same file, when I tried to play on Ovi, played really well.

When that email arrived stating the expiration date was at April 2011, I went to Nokia's-then Nokia Music Store and looked into my account to see the date (YES). Well, what I say now is useless since I have no proof or whatsoever that can be of use as evidence (NO). If I had known Nokia's Dis-Connecting People policy, I would have taken a screen-capture.
I started my subscription April 2009. Nearing March/April 2010 (estimated), I received an SMS from Nokia. The message states I am given another year of unlimited music download subscription at no cost. Why not, since the deal came from Nokia itself. I replied accordingly as stated in the message, soon after April 2010, I am still able to continue my downloads.
The email is from Nokia Email Specialist. Not Nokia Care. Nokia doesn't care. Do they? Seriously, it's ridiculous for my thread to be noticed by an Nokia personnel after almost a week.
Remember, elinahlberg, if you want the guy's name from Nokia Email Specialist, PM me. I don't want to point fingers at people who aren't in this picture.
